A couple days have passed after Niku defeated Magmortar. Niku was going over what he done so far and made a decision.
Niku: I think it's time I get another Z Crystal and I think the Grass one should be around somewhere Akala Island.
Eevee: Eevee.
???: So you're looking for another Z Crystal?
Niku: Huh?
Eevee: Vee?
Niku looked back to see Olivia.
Niku: Oh, Alola, Olivia.
Olivia: Alola! So you're searching for the Grassium Z Crystal, right?
Niku: Yeah, I got the Waterium and Firium Z, the Grassium has caught my eye recently and want to look for.
Olivia's eyes widened after hearing what he earned
Olivia: (He found two Crystals already and is ready to get a third one. He just might have what it takes to face the grand trial). Hehe... We'll Niku if you want to look for the Grassium Z, I can help you with that.
Niku: Really? Wait, is there a catch for this?
Olivia: Very perceptive. Yes, there are some ingredients I want you to look for and then I'll show you to where the Z Crystal is located.
Niku: Well, if that's what it takes to find it. I'm in then. What do you think Eevee?
Eevee: Eevee!
Olivia: Great, well I tell you what you need to do!
Later
Niku walked out of the Pokemon Center with Eevee. He carried three cards in his hand and can see three ingredients.
Niku: Let's see here. What we need to find is a Mago Berry, Revival Herbs and a Miracle Seed. They don't look so hard to locate, good thing she gave us a small map to locate them. Well, let's get to it.
Eevee: Vee!
Niku ran forward to search and Olivia came out to see him leave.
Olivia: We shall see what he does to get to the last ingredient.
Scene Change
Niku was on a trail and looked to see which is closest.
Niku: Ok, the closest one is a Mago Berry and it looks like it's on a hill.
Niku looked around and can see a hill with a tree.
Niku: That must be it. Come on Eevee!
Eevee: Vee!
Scene Change
Niku and Eevee made it to the hill and can see some Mago Berrys hanging from a few branches.
Niku: There it is.
Niku and Eevee walked on the trail and looked to the side and can see some kind of plants.
Niku: Are those Pokemon.....? Wait those are Fomantis. They look like they're sleeping.
Eevee: Vee.
Niku walked slowly and gave small footsteps and Eevee followed. In front of them there is a small bush in front and started moving.
Niku: Huh?
Out of the bush came a Parasect. It saw the two and made a sort of cackling sound and gave them a Stun Spore. Niku saw it coming and spoke quickly to Eevee.
Niku: Eevee quick, grab a Mago Berry and return quietly.
Eevee: Vee.
Eevee ran a little quicker to the tree and Niku covered his nose and so he wont be affected. Eevee proceeded to grab a Mago Berry and suddenly went back to its trainer. Niku grabbed Eevee and ran off the hill and let out his long held breath. He was breathing a little hard and Eevee was worried.
Niku: Don't worry Eevee. I'm fine.
Eevee: Eevee.
Niku calmed his breath and stood up. Unaware that Olivia hid away from him with a grin
Niku: Well, glad that's over. Now the next one is Revival Herbs and located near some rocky terrain.
Scene Change
Niku and Eevee were near some large boulders and are in wonder where the Revival Herbs are located.
Niku: Hmm... The Revival Herbs should be here. I can think of them being located in the small crevices. Eevee go take a look will you?
Eevee: Vee!
Eevee ran into a small crevice and not to long she spoke.
Eevee: Eevee!
Niku: Eevee must have found them!
Niku ran to the opening and can see Eevee showing the Revival Herbs.
Niku: Wow, thank you Eevee, great job.
Niku went to grab some and outside Olivia was watching them still.
Scene Change
Niku and Eevee are at the entrance of a cave. Niku looked at the card for last ingredient.
Niku: Alright Eevee, the last one is a Miracle Seed. And I believe these are really rare to find.
Eevee: Eevee!
Niku: Right, let's go.
Niku and Eevee walked inside the cave and the trail was long and quiet. There were no Pokemon in sight and that didn't seem right. After a short walk, they found themselves in a two way crossroads.
Niku: Two paths and only one can lead us to the other end to find the Miracle Seed. But which way to go.
Eevee: Vee?
Niku looked around to see if there is a way, he saw something shining on the ground.
Niku: Hmmm? What's that?
Niku picked up something goldish looking and recognized it.
Niku: This is a piece of hair from an Alolan Diglett, which means this could be a Digglet Nest.
Eevee: Eevee!
Niku: If this is a nest, we should be careful not to disturb them. Eevee, you know what to do.
Eevee nodded and decided to sniff the hair and tried to pick up the scent of Diglett. Whichever side has the Diglett scent, they go the opposite direction. They were still looking and soon they saw a light up ahead and it is on the roof which means they are near the entrance to the last ingredient.
Niku: We'll Eevee, we found it. Your sense of smell is incredible.
Eevee jumped on his shoulder and nuzzled his cheek. They climbed out of the hole and can see another forest.
Niku: Wait a second, this forest seems familiar.
He looked around and everything seems peaceful and quiet. In the shadows, there is a certain Pokemon looking at him with eyes glinting.
Niku: Of course! This is Lush Jungle! (I've heard about a jungle that can hardly be found. To think we've found it with an entrance coming out of a cave).
Eevee: Eevee!
Eevee ran futher to see a tree and climbed on it see what it has sensed.
Niku: Whoa Eevee, you found something?
Niku walked closer and can see a hollow tree and is filled with all kinds of berries. Eevee looked inside and found a berry and ate it happily
Niku: Whoa, so many berries. Enough to feed a whole family.
He looked inside and one thing caught his eye and picked up.
Niku: Here it is. The Miracle Seed. Eevee, once again, great work.
Eevee: Eevee!
Niku stuffed the last ingredient in his bag, but something came to his mind.
Niku: Somethings odd here, I found the ingredients but the last one is found in a hidden jungle, this feels like a....
Out of nowhere, he hears a large stomp and looked towards the direction.
Niku: Huh?
Behind him stood large pink plantlike Pokemon that remembles an insect.
???: Lurantis!
Niku: A Lurantis! And a big one too!
The Lurantis jumped down and looked down on Niku.
Niku: From the size of it, it could be a Totem Pokemon.
Lurantis is enveloped in a special aura which proves it is a Totem Pokemon.
Niku: So it is one after all.
Lurantis then started of by summoning pink petals and circling around itself.
Niku: That's Petal Blizzard! Eevee get back!
Niku grabbed Eevee and jumped back at a good distance to keep away from the range of the attack.
Niku: Wanna battle huh? This will be a great warm up for this one!
Niku took out a Pokeball and threw it.
Niku: Now Skeledirge, stand by for battle!
Skeledirge: Skeledirge!
Skeledirge stared at the large Pokemon and roared ready for battle.
Niku: Torch Song, let's go!
Skeledirge roared with a flames and a fire bird flew out and hitted Lurantis.
Niku: That's super effective, but I doubt Lurantis is done.
It seems Niku is right as Lurantis shouted as it is glowing with light from every direction near it like it gathering energy.
Niku: Wait, that move.... It looks like. Well too bad. Incinerate, let's go!
Skeledirge proceeded to use Incinerate by shooting fireballs with a bright center and black highlights towards Lurantis as the attack stopped Lurantis's charged attack. Lurantis looked back at Skeleldirge and shouted again gathering energy for the same attack. This time the attack is fully formed and strike down.
Niku: It completed the Solar Blade, Skeledirge hang tight!
Skeledirge: Skele!
The Solar Blade came down and striked Skeledirge with a huge dust cloud. The dust cleared and Skeledirge is showing no signs of injury.
Niku: Solar Blade is good move but it not useful when it hits a Pokemon with a different type.
Lurantis saw Skeledirge unharmed and made a loud shout like its making a call for something.
Niku: That shout, I think it called for an ally, but who did it call for?
???: Cast!
A small Pokemon appeared beside Lurantis and stared at the opponents.
Niku: A Castform, huh?
Castform made a cry towards the sky, causing the sun to shine brighter. All of sudden, Castform changed to its Sunny Form.
Niku: It used Sunny Day, and changed to Sunny Form. With the sun now out it can only mean one thing.
Lurantis screamed as it is charging energy to use Solar Blade again. And now, with the sun out it will take less time to charge energy.
Niku: With Sunny Day out, it can attack immediately with taking time to charge up power. Skeledirge, brace yourself!
Skeledirge: Skele!
The Solar Blade strikes Skeledirge again and still not much damage.
Niku: It's still holding, but I can't let my guard down.
Castform suddenly attacked by using Water Gun.
Niku: Quick, dodge it!
Skeledirge jumped to the side to avoid Water Gun.
Niku: So it can use Water Gun as well. Now that its against two Pokemon, time to bring out an ally!
Niku brought out a Nest Ball.
Niku: Kilowattrel, stand by for battle!
What came out is large avian Pokemon in yellow and black and has a throat sac that looks it stores power.
Kilowattrel: Kilowattrel!
Kilowattrel flew around Niku and stood beside Skeledirge.
Niku: Now use Weather Ball on Lurantis!
Killowattrel fires a red energy ball towards Lurantis and it was super effective since the weather is sunny and the Weather Ball is a fire type move.
Niku: Good, Skeledirge use Torch Song!
Skeledirge proceeded to use Torch Song and with another fire type move it made alot of damage.
Lurantis had trouble standing up, but in the end it stood up and made a shout as it glowed in sparkles like it recovering its health.
Niku: It's using Synthesis. And with the sun it will recover more heatlth than it should.
The Castform shrieked and charged towards Kilowattrel but Niku saw it coming.
Niku: Kilowattrel, Electro Ball, now!
Kilowattrel gathers electricity from it sac and summons a sphere of electricity and threw at Castform. Lurantis finished recovering and decided to use Solar Blade once more.
Niku: Skeledirge, dodge and use Scorching Sands!
Skeledirge dodged the Solar Blade and swiped the ground with scorching sands and hits Lurantis and it also gave Lurantis a burn condition. Lurantis stood back up swiflty and summoned Petal Blizzard again. Skeledirge and Kilowattrel held on tightly but in front of Skeledirge, Castform came in front and used Water Gun.
Niku: Skeledirge, get out of the way!
Skeledirge was gonna move but in time Kilowattrel came in front of the Water Gun and protected its ally.
Niku: Good timing Kilowattrel, finish Castform off with Thunderbolt!
Kilowattrel gathered lighting from its throat sac and sent a large burst of electricy through the water and defeated Castform.
Niku: Castform is down, but Lurantis still wanting to fight some more and still has the burn effect.
Lurantis summoned energy to use Solar Blade but the power isn't as fast as used to be.
Niku: The sun is covered and now the charging time will be slow. Skeledirge, nows our chance for a Z Move.
Skeledirge: Skele!
Niku brought out his Firium Z Crystal and inserted into his Z Ring.
Niku: Now let's do this!
Niku crossed his arms and made the movement for the Z move.
Niku: Finish it with, Inferno Overdrive!
Skeledirge breathes a a stream of intense fire toward Lurantis with the full force of the Firium Z Crystal.
Lurantis fell down with swirls in its eyes and the battle is over. Niku won and defeated the Totem Pokemon.
Niku: It's over! Skeledirge, Kilowattrel, well done!
Both Pokemon came to there trainer and jumped on him in praise. Eevee came over and gave each of them some berrys from Niku's sack. They even gave some revival herbs to Lurantis and Castform and helped them recover.
Niku: You two are great opponents and worked well together, it was an honor to battle you two.
Castform smiled and floated to Lurantis to make confirmation about something. Lurantis nodded and brought its hand over and showed a Grasium Z.
Niku: Is that the Grasium Z?
Lurantis: Lurantis.
Niku took the crystal and was surprised about this.
Niku: Look at this guy! We now have a new crystal!
Nikus Pokemon shouted in confirmation and are proud of there work. Niku pocketed the crystal and left the forest.
Niku: You two take care of yourself now. Get ready for new challengers headed your way.
Niku left with his Pokemon walking and flying beside him.
Outside the forest Olivia came behind Lurantis and Castform and patted them.
Olivia: You two did well! Thank you!
She kissed each of them and saw Niku walking away and made a smirk.
Olivia: Niku you have proved yourself and are now ready to face the grand trial.
