Days have passed after the battle with Totem Raticate. One day there was a misunderstanding of Sophocles believing he was moving, and captured a Charjabug, nothing to exciting happened. It's early morning, Niku and Ash were in the middle of training in before Ash goes to school, and it's a battle between Eevee and Rockruff.
Ash: Rockruff, Rock Throw!
Rockruff proceeded to use Rock Throw, launching multiple jagged rocks towards Eevee.
Niku: Destroy the rocks with Iron Tail!
Eevee jumped and used Iron Tail to destroy the Rock Throw and they were destroyed.
Niku: Iron Tail again!
Blitzing forward, Eevee appeared above Rockruff, slamming it in the face with Iron Tail, pushing it back.
Niku: Ok, that's enough. Vulpix come forth.
Vulpix: Vul!
Ash: You too, Rockruff. Let's go, Litten!
Litten: Lit!
Niku looked to see Rockruff staring at Eevee and is ignoring it's stare. It looks like Rockruff doesn't want this to end.
Niku: Hey, I got a better idea. Let's do this instead. Eevee, Take Down on Rockruff, Vulpix, Quick Attack on Litten!
Ash: Alright! Rockruff, Tackle! Litten, Slash!
The four of them proceeded to use their attacks, all clashing with one another.
Ash: Keep going on the offensive! Rockruff, Rock Throw! Litten, Fire Fang!
Rockruff: Ruff!
Litten: Litt!
Litten and Rockruff both launched their attacks towards Eevee and Vulpix.
Niku: Oh no you don't! Eevee, hit the Rock Throw to Litten with Iron Tail! Vulpix, Energy Ball, Rockruff!
Vulpix sent out a powerful Energy Ball to Rockruff blasting it back, Eevee hit Litten, by using Iron Tail and send the rocks to Litten pushing it back with great damage.
Niku: Ok, let's stop right here. You guys need a break.
Ash: Yeah! You both fought well. Litten, that fire was incredible.
Litten: Litt!
Ash: And Rockruff, I could really feel how motivated you were.
Rotom Dex: The Power of it's Rock Throw has increased as well.
Pikachu: Pika!
Litten: Litt!
Rockruff: Ruff!
Niku looked over at Eevee and Vulpix.
Niku: Great teamwork you two.
Eevee: Eevee!
Vulpix: Vul!
Timeskip
Niku and his Pokemon were at his mansion and eating lunch. He was reading a newspaper and one article caught his attention.
Niku: Hmm... It says here, that there is trainer who has been visiting the island alot recently. And whats this, a mystery Lycanroc trainer and also it mentions it is a Midnight Form.
Niku turned another page and can see a picture of him and there is an Umbreon standing by him.
Niku: So that's trainer huh? Wait....
Niku had a mental image and suddenly realized something.
Niku: Could he be related to Lillie? And that Lycanroc looks like a strong one. If I were to face his Lycanroc, I might know someone who wants to challenge him. Now let me see. That Lycanroc is now a Rock and Dark Type and I think it's main move is Counter. Luckily, I battled a few trainers with Lycanrocs like this one.
Later
It's the end of the day, and currently Niku is walking around town with Eevee with his hood on, Vulpix decided to now stay at home knowing it can handle itself now that she stronger after she hatched after so long. It was a nice walk until they heard the sound of battling.
Eevee: Eievui?
Niku: Hmm...? A battle....?
Niku takes a closer look and finds a recognizable trainer.
Niku: Eevee, he has arrived.
Eevee made a serious face knowing what kind of trainer he is.
They then notice the trainer was using a Midnight Lycanroc and had Umbreon next to him.
Niku: It seems that the rumors are true. A Midnight Lycanroc and an Umrbeon as well.
Trainer: Blastoise, Skull Bash!
???: Counter!
The Lycanroc stepped to the side and proceeded to use Counter, punching the Blastoise in the stomach and knocking it out.
Everyone then starts cheering. Lycanroc was looking around and caught the sight of someone with a hood on and with an Eevee on his shoulder. It walked to the trainer and the trainer followed him.
???: Lycanroc?
Umbreon: Umbre?
Lycanroc got closer and the people were moving aside and it stood in front of Niku.
Niku: Hmmm?
Lycanroc stares at Niku and sees determination in his eyes.
Lycanroc: ...
???: I've never seen Lycanroc like this.
Niku looked forward to see the trainer. Umbreon got closer and Eevee jumped off his shoulder and the two interacted and Eevee didn't make much of a reaction and just ignored Umbreon and jumped back on his shoulder.
Niku: So it's you. Your the trainer that everyone's talking about.
The trainer looked at Niku with a serious expression. Before the trainer could say anything, they head Lillie running towards them.
Lillie: Big Brother!
Niku: Oh, Lillie.
Lillie: I would have never expected the mysterious Pokemon Trainer to be my own big brother!
Niku: (So they really are realated after all).
Lillie's brother looked at Lillie and noticed her holding Snowball.
???: So you're able to do it again now? Touch Pokemon, I mean.
Lillie: Oh! This is Snowball. Snowball, this is my big brother, Gladion.
Snowball: Vul?
Suddenly, James walks over to the siblings.
James: Gladion. Snowball is the first Pokemon that Lillie got. She has taken care of it ever since it was an egg.
Gladion: I see... Treat it with love and care.
Gladion turns around and stared at Niku again and walks away.
James: Gladion! You have been gone for such a long time, so if you would be so kind, please accompany us to the mansion.
Gladion: I'll pass, James. So long, Lillie.
Lillie: Gladion?
Niku: Leaving after seeing your sister? I thought you wanted to have a battle. It looked like your Lyancroc wanted to challenge me.
Gladion: A battle?
Niku: They say your a strong Lycanroc-user, it looked like Lycanroc wanted to prove something.
Lillie: You see, Niku is a mysterious trainer and very strong. He actually battled Tapu Bulu.
Gladion: Tapu Bulu?
Lillie: Yeah and he's also helped me with touching Pokemon again.
Gladion: Really?
James: Indeed. He brought a unkown Pokemon and she unexpectedly touched it.
Gladion: I see. Well in that case Niku... Huh?
Gladion looked and saw Niku and his Eevee dissapeared.
Lillie: Whoa! He's gone!
James: He just vanished and made no sound.
Gladion: Hmm.... Maybe I should find him and see if I can battle him. But where does he live?
Timeskip
It's currently the middle of night and currently Niku was in bed but not asleep, snuggling with him is Eevee and Vulpix with both laying on each side of him. Niku grunted and sat up and couldn't sleep.
Niku: Why can't I get any sleep?
Niku got up and got dressed and decided to walk down to the beach for a night walk. Eevee and Vulpix woke up and saw Niku walking out and joined him for a walk. Outside on the beach, the sight was nice and it was peaceful.
Niku: What a nice sight.
Eevee: Eevee!
Vulpix: Vulpix!
Eevee and Vulpix ran off ahead and Niku caught the sight of something he was familiar with.
Niku: Wait that it's that Umbreon from before. What's it doing out here?
Umbreon heard his voice and saw Niku and ran over to him with a note in its mouth. He took the note and Umbreon ran back to it's trainer.
Niku: Hmm? What's this?
Niku opened the paper and read the read it.
Niku ...-_-... He can't be serious.
Timeskip
After recieving Gladion's note, Niku ran back and got dressed and made his way to the location with Eevee and found Gladion waiting with his Umbreon. Eevee saw Umbreon and greeted her.
Eevee: Eevee.
Umbreon: Umbre!
Gladion: You came.
Niku: Of course I did. You could've searched for me during a different time of day instead. But oh well. So you want to test me right?
Gladion: That's right. You left before I would challenge you. I want to see what caught Tapu Bulu's interest.
Niku: Well you're about to find out now.
Gladion: Good. Lycanroc, show them your crimson glare!
Gladion called out his Lycanroc.
Lycanroc: Lycanroc.
Niku brought a Dusk Ball and is ready to battle.
Niku: Excellent. Get ready Gladion, for this new Pokemon. Annihilape, stand by for battle!
Niku sent out a simian Pokemon with a round body and red eyes.
Annihilape: Annihilape!
Gladion and Lycanroc saw there opponent and was surprised of its appearance and has the same red eyes.
Gladion: What is that Pokemon?!
Niku: A Pokemon from a region, which I'm from.
Gladion: I see. ( Niku just might make things interesting for me).
Niku: Now let's begin. Bulk Up, now!
Annihilape's body becomes surrounded in a red aura, raising its attack and defense stats.
Niku: Now Drain Punch!
Annihilape blitzed towards Lycanroc at fast speeds and appeared in front of Lycanroc and hit it's face and absorbed its health. Lycanroc skidded back waiting for the next move.
Gladion: Stone Edge!
Lycanroc proceeded to punch the ground, sending multiple stone pillars towards it.
Niku: Jump on the pillars towards Lycanroc!
Annihilape jumped on the stones and leaped to Lycanroc.
Gladion: Crunch!
Lycanroc appeared in front of Annihilape and gave a super effective Crunch. Annihilape was sent back and landed on its back. The attack managed to decrease the Special Defense on Annihilape.
Gladion: Is that all?
Niku grinned at looked at Gladion.
Niku: No, but you just made a mistake.
Gladion: Huh?
Annihilape rose up and it's eyes glowed red and roared with rage.
Gladion: What the?!
Niku: (Defiant. Since Annihilapes stats were decreased by Crunch its ability activates). Now Rage Fist!
Annihilape roared and charged towards Lycanroc with Rage Fist with more power in it. The attack sent Lycanroc crashing down to the ground. Once landing, Lycanroc quickly got back up, narrowing it's eyes intensively at Annihilape, as it did the same. As the battle was gonna continue, both Pokemon sensed something, as they quickly tore a net coming towards them apart, surprising Gladion but not Niku.
Niku: ...-_-... Don't tell me...
Gladion: Who's there?!
Jessie: If you ask us "Who are you?!"
James: Let us tell you what our names are.
Jessie: A flower's face and a willows waist, makes the moon abashed and flowers wilt, a lone flower of evil blooming in this ephemeral world, Jessie!
James: An eye for opportunities, valiant and heroic in bearing, an apostle of evil retaliating against this agonzing world, James!
Meowth: Sharing the same fate, splitting responsibility, a star of evil whose shines even on close friends, Meowth!
Jessie and James: Team Rocket is on scene!
Meowth: Meowth, that's right!
Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet!
Niku just looked at Team Rocket annoyed.
Niku: ...-_-... Not you three again...
Gladion: Who are they supposed to be?
Niku: A pathetic team of Pokemon thieves from the Kanto Region. All they like to do is cause trouble.
Gladion Is that right? Then I'll deal with them.
Gladion and Lycanroc both stepped forward, as they proceeded to prepare a Z Move.
Gladion: The lump of Rock bathed in the Z of the Blue Moon... will now... seal off the collapsing world!
Upon power up the Z Move, Lycanroc leapt up into the air, as a massive boulder formed in it's hand.
Gladion: Take this! Continental Crush!!!
Lycanroc proceeded to throw the massive boulder down towards Team Rocket,
Lycanroc proceeded to throw the massive boulder towards Team Rocket creating a large explosion, sending them flying, only to be caughtBeware.
Niku: So that's the power of the Rockinium Z.
Gladion: Yeah. You're taking the Island Challenges, right?
Niki: That's right.
Gladion: Then you should challenge Akala Island Kahuna's Grand Trial.
Niku: Right. I was planning to head there next.
Gladion: Alright, let's continue our battle.
Lillie: Big brother!
The two of them looked over and saw Lillie in the distance.
Lillie: Big brother!
Niku and Gladion: Lillie?
Niku: You better go. I can tell your not ready for Lillie yet.
Gladion: Yeah, thanks. I have a tough time with my little sister watching.
Niku: Well she's your sister after all. We'll battle again someday.
Niku outstretched his hand to Gladion, as he accepted and shook it, before walking away.
Gladion: You make a great opponent Niku. I can tell your strong. Until we meet again.
Lycanroc and Annihilape looked at one another and nodded there heads before leaving with Gladion and Niku returns Annihilape. Lillie runs up to Niku.
Lillie: Niku! Where's my brother?
Niku: You just missed him.
Lillie looked surprised and started pouting.
Lillie: Huh? Sheesh,I thiught today would be the day I would get him to visit our house. Didn't you Snowball?
Snowball: Vul!
Niku shook his head annoyed but chuckled.
Niku: Give it time Lillie. Well see ya later.
