Y/N's POV
I got up early this morning so I could get what I needed for the dance tonight. I called Neptune, Coco, and Velvet to ask them to help me find a good suit for me. Now I'm in town with him and Sun looking for good attire for us.
Y/N: Hey Sun.
Sun: Yeah?
Y/N: I'm sorry for snapping at you yesterday.
Sun: It's alright man, no harm done. So, you ask the girls to dance with you?
Y/N: Yeah, they agreed.
Sun: You may not have seen it yet Y/N, but the girls are head over heels for you. And I know you feel the same way.
Y/N: I feel like they deserved to be with someone better though.
Sun: Nonsense, you're Y/N Rose! One of the most badass students in Beacon Academy! All the girls stare at you and want you, but Team RWBY, Pyrrha, Nora, and the others see you differently. They don't like you because of your looks or powers, they like you because you're you.
Y/N: (smile) Thanks Sun.
Sun: Don't mention it.
Neptune: Y/N, I found the perfect one!
Y/N: I don't know, I'll look like a vampire in that.
Neptune: Well then, solid!
Coco: If you don't like Neptune's, what about mine~?
Y/N: ........ What the hell am I supposed to do with this?
Coco: Come on, this the sexist outfit I could find for you~. Most girls wear bunny suits, there's no reason guys shouldn't wear them, right~?
Y/N: (blush) This is supposed to be a dance party, not a strip club!
Sun: (sweat drop) No one said anything about stripping though.
Velvet: (nervous) Um, excuse me Y/N. (got his attention) Would this work for you?
Y/N: Hmm... The black and white suit is nice. The cape with the blue outlines is pretty cool as well. (smile before he pats Velvet's head and ears, causing her to blush) I like it, thanks Velvet.
Velvet: (blush, smile) Your welcome. (thoughts) His touch is so warm and gentle.
Coco: (pouts) No fair! How come he chose Velvet's choice and not mine?!
Neptune: (sighs) So much for the outfit I picked.
(Timeskip)
It was night time for the dance as I'm waiting outside the ballroom in that suit that Velvet picked up for me.
Y/N: This tie is freaking annoying, I should've picked Neptune's instead.
???: Well, you look absolutely stunning.
I turned around to see my mum and Raven in their dresses, and they are so beautiful!
Y/N: (blush) Holy god...
Summer: (smile) What do you think, honey?
Raven: (smirk) A handsome guy in a tux suit, and some beautiful girls in dresses~. It's starting to feel like a spy movie.
Y/N: (blush) I'll say, you two look beautiful.
Summer: (giggles) Thanks sweetie.
Raven: Let's get going. Don't want to keep the girls waiting, don't we?
Mom and Raven both took my hands as we walked into the ballroom and saw every student dancing.
Y/N: They sure are having fun.
Summer: And you should be too.
Raven: Now get over to the dance floor.
They both gave a big push as I was at the dance floor. It was then I met Team DVANT in their wardrobes. Dean was in a black and red suit with a hat calls it Dr. Faust and a glowing red scarf, Vali was in a very nice suit with his hair slit back, Arc was in a sliver swagger tuxedo, Nikki was in a sporty dress, and Týra wore a black and gold dress.
Y/N: Hey, look at you guys! Looking sharp, Dean.
Dean: (tips the hat) Thanks, bro. Lady, Trish, and Kyrie said the same thing.
Vali: Your outfit suits you well too.
Nikki: We just strive for the fun. Wouldn't you agree, Týra?
Týra: ...
Arcturus: Týra?
Týra: (small blush) Not a word.
Dean: Oh, c'mon, you look lovely.
Y/N: Yeah, there's no need to get embarrassed for wearing a dress. Let's just have some fun.
Týra: But, what about Ember?
Dean: It's alright. I can watch her. You guys have fun. And Nikki, remember our match.
Nikki: (sly grin) Wouldn't miss it, boss.
Y/N: What match?
Nikki: You'll see. (walks with Týra, Arc, and Vali)
???: Y/N!
I saw Team RWBY and they were wearing very pretty dresses.
Y/N: (blush) Whoa...!
Ruby: How do we look?
Y/N: (smile) You four look very pretty.
Blake: (smile, blush) Thanks, you look good too.
Yang: (grins) She's right, you're looking a bit sexy in that outfit.
Weiss: Yang, not now.
Y/N: So, now that we're all here... (extends my hand) C-Can I have a dance with each of you? (blush) T-That is...i-if....you want to...
RWBY: (happily) YES!!!
Ruby: Uhm...Just one sec.
3rd Person POV
Team RWBY starts to huddle in leaving Y/N with his hand still extended.
Ruby: (whisper) So how do we do this?
Weiss: (whisper) By the arrangements of our names, I guess.
Blake: (whisper) Works for me!
Yang: (whisper) Deal!
Team RWBY turns back to face Y/N, who still has his hand extended.
Y/N: Erm...
Ruby: I-I guess I'll go first....
Ruby takes Y/N's hand then goes onto the dance floor, bows at each other, gets close to each other then slow dancing.
Y/N: Ruby...
Ruby: Huh?
Y/N: I wanted to see thank you for bringing back to my senses and sorry about what happened.
Ruby: It's okay, I'm just glad you're back to yourself. Besides...
Y/N: Yeah?
Ruby takes Y/N's hand and places it on her cheek before giving him a lovely smile.
Ruby: I love you just the way you are.
Y/N gasps before he smiles and gives Ruby a kiss on the lips which she returns it as they continue to dance.
After their dance Y/N and Ruby walks back to the punch bowl. As Ruby lets go of Y/N's hand, Y/N then extends his hand to Weiss, in which Weiss takes as they walk to the dance floor. The two them shared a bow, then started slow dancing.
Y/N: Weiss, about yesterday... I never mean to-
Weiss puts her finger on Y/N's lips then lets go of it, as she lays her head on his chest.
Weiss: You're too noisy...
Y/N: (chuckles nervously) Sorry.
Weiss: Don't ever do that again.
Y/N: I won't.
Weiss: And I mean EVER.
Y/N: You know that will never happen.
Weiss, still laying on Y/N's chest, looks up to him, all flustered.
Weiss: Promise?
Y/N: Promise.
They both smile at each other then Weiss kissed Y/N on the lips from which he returned it, as they continue to dance.
After their dance Y/N and Weiss walks back to the punch bowl. As Weiss lets go of Y/N's hand, Y/N then extends his hand to Blake, in which Blake takes as they walk to the dance floor. The two them shared a bow, then started slow dancing.
Y/N: Blake...
Blake: Yeah?
Y/N: I'm sorry if I was being too distant lately.
Blake: Oh. I-It's alright, I mean, I was also being distant this past few days.
Y/N: Yeah....So, you feelin' any better now?
Blake: Yeah.....I'm really glad Yang talked me into this.
Y/N: (chuckles) "Missing one, is no fun" Blake.
Blake: (giggles) Yeah... Y/N?
Y/N: Hm?
Blake: Thank you for seeing as a person and, not as a freak.
Y/N: No problem. You and all the Faunus on Remnant deserve to live a better life.
Blake: Is that way you being so nice to me?
Y/N: What? Would you want me to be like Cardin instead?
Blake: (giggles) No... Just... you being "you" is more than enough...
The two smile before they shared a kiss as they continued dancing. After their dance Y/N and Blake walks back to the punch bowl. As Blake lets go of Y/N's hand, Y/N then extends his hand to Yang, in which Yang takes as they walk to the dance floor. The two them shared a bow, then started slow dancing.
Y/N: Yang...
Yang: (giggles) Don't worry...
Y/N: Huh?
Yang: You're forgiven. Besides, I can't really blame you...
Y/N: Oh....Erm...Yeah.
Yang: You still worried about us though, do you?
Y/N: (nodded)
Yang smiles before she gave him a kiss on the lips which widen his eyes in surprise before he melts into it.
Yang: (breaks the kiss) You don't to worry. We'd look after each other, remember? And there's nothing that can change that.
Y/N: Yeah, you're right.
Yang: (smirk) Plus, you can always come to your big sis to relief some of your stress. (whisper) And I mean it in a very sexy way~.
Y/N: (blush) U-Ummm... okay.
After their dance Y/N and Yang walks back to the punch bowl, as Yang lets go.
Yang: You know? I think we really needed this.
Ruby: Yeah, and you did a great job planning it too!
Yang: (reaching over to Ruby) Aw, thanks! (crushing Ruby in a one-arm hug as she flails frantically) It wasn't all me, though. Weiss did a lot too.
Weiss: (smugly) Of course.
Y/N: Tomorrow, it's back to work.
Y/N felt a tap on his shoulder which made him turn to see Pyrrha in a beautiful red dress.
Y/N: (blush) Whoa...
Pyrrha: (blush) Umm, would you like to dance with me?
Y/N looks at Team RWBY who smiled and nodded before he turns back to Pyrrha with a smile.
Y/N: Sure, I would love to.
Pyrrha smile as she took Y/N's hand and walk to the dance floor. The two them shared a bow, then started slow dancing.
Y/N: I'm surprised you would ask me.
Pyrrha: (giggles) Well, you're the first person that I danced to be honest.
Y/N: Really?
Pyrrha: Yeah. I wouldn't dance with anyone due to how famous I am.
Y/N: Fame has nothing to do with it, Pyrrha. (Pyrrha gasps in surprise) Maybe you're unsure of what to do in situations like this.
Pyrrha: How would you know?
Y/N: Just guess. But don't worry, I'll make sure you'll feel better.
Pyrrha blush before she smile as she and Y/N kissed each other on the lips. They continued dancing until Y/N saw something that made his eyes widen in shock.
Y/N: What. The. Fuck?!
Pyrrha: Y/N, what's wrong?
Y/N points as Pyrrha looks at the direction Y/N was pointing at to see Jaune who is wearing a white dress with a blue ribbon.
Pyrrha: Jaune?
Jaune: Eh, a promise is a promise.
Y/N: Ohoho! This is gonna be fun!
Pyrrha: (smiling... then giggling... then laughing aloud) Jaune! You didn't have to!
Jaune: Hey, an Arc never goes back on his word.
Y/N: (yelling over to Jaune) Way to go, Arc!
Jaune, while dancing with Pyrrha, gives Y/N a thumbs up.
It ends off with Jaune and Pyrrha dancing with Ren and Nora disco dancing. When theirs was done, the lights went out, until two spot lights came on.
(Cue Smooth Criminal)
On one end, was Dean posing with his hat, and the other was Nikki with her hands on her hips.
Dean: You ready for this, Witch Girl?
Nikki: Bring it, Devil Boy.
Dean and Nikki then engage in a dance battle.
A/N: this was suppose to be in gifs, but they were too big.
Y/N: (to Vali) Do they do this often?
Vali: More than you think.
Dean and Nikki: (land and pose) Yeah!
A flash of sparks and confetti goes off behind them and everyone claps and cheers. Their friends especially, while Ember was laughing.
Nora: Whoa! (claps) yeah!
Jaune: Nice moves!
Ruby: (to Arc) You guys can kill monsters, and can dance? What can't you do?
Arcturus: (grin) Nothing's impossible when it comes to Team DVANT, Ruby.
Yang: (looks at the video on the scroll) I'm so saving this.
Dean: (stands up with Nikki) I think we'll call it a draw.
Nikki: Agreed. For now.
Y/N: That was an amazing dance battle.
???: You said it.
Y/N turned to see his father, F/N, walking towards him with Summer and Raven.
Y/N: Father? I wasn't expecting to see you here.
F/N: I wouldn't miss this.
Summer: How was your dance with Ruby, Yang, and the others?
Y/N: It was very good.
Raven: Y/N, we need to speak to you for a moment.
Y/N: Ok, (turns to Team RWBY) I'll see you girls in a minute.
Y/N walked away with his father, his mother, and his aunt. A few girls sifted their heart eyes towards Y/N which he saw Ruby, Yang, Weiss, and Blake weren't happy about it.
Y/N: So what's up?
Raven: We wanted to check up on you, to see if you're feeling better.
Y/N: Yeah I'm good now, I had my team looking out for me.
F/N: That's good, you had me worried.
Y/N: Is that why you refused to train me further?
F/N: I knew that if you kept pushing yourself like that, you'd be unfit for battle. You need to be able to live your life without straining yourself too much or you'll drive yourself mad, just like I did.
Y/N: I'll keep that in mind besides, mom and aunt Raven would kick my ass if they found out I acting like that.
Summer: You're damn right we would!
F/N: (chuckles) Then I guess I know who to go to if you act like that again.
Y/N: Me and my big mouth.
Raven: Summer, I think it's time for our dance with Y/N.
Y/N: Wait what?
Summer: Yeah. And after us, you'll dance with Nora, Velvet, Coco, Glynda, Kala, and Natasha.
Y/N: Huh?!
F/N: (chuckles, puts his hand on his son's shoulder) You'll long night, kid. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Y/N: Yeah... (thoughts) A very LONG night indeed...
