"Scooby, Shaggy you guys spot anything yet?" Velma asks as the group is crawling through the sewers.

"Uh-uh." Scooby-Doo says over the radio headset.

"Call me crazy Scooby... but don't these pipes look familiar? Didn't we run into that big rat creature down here?" Shaggy asks over the radio headset.

"That was two weeks ago Shaggy. In the New York sewers." Velma says.

"Yeah. Definitely not the same sewer. It smelled worse than this one did. Ugh my nose is gonna be messed up for the next week." Alexis says as she is make a face of disgust.

"How could you forget?" Daphne asks.

"Wasn't that the glop monster?" Shaggy asks over the radio headset.

"The glop monster was on Saturday? Remember? Rat creature, then glop monster, then snake-osaurus." Velma says.

"They're all starting to merge!" Shaggy shouts in alarm.

"Better get ready for this one Shaggy because it's coming." Fred says over the radio headset.

"I know. It's coming our way. That was on Saturday too." Shaggy shouts before the group hears him scream.

"Hang on." Velma says as she, Alexis and Daphne get through the tunnel and begin running.

"We're coming." Daphne says.

"Whatever you do don't let it eat you before we get there." Fred says over the radio headset before Alexis, Velma and Daphne find Shaggy and Scooby-Doo cowering at a cockroach.

"Oh it's just a common cockroach guys. Nothing to be scared of." Alexis says.

"There is nothing common about a cockroach." Daphne says fearfully.

"Is it singing?" Shaggy asks as the cockroach is making noise.

"Not singing. Signaling." Velma says.

"Signaling to what?" Scooby-Doo asks.

"To that cockroach." Velma says in alarm as the group sees the cockroach monster.

"Glad I brought a giant roll of flypaper." Fred says as he comes running with a huge roll of flypaper only to trip and fall into it.

"Fred!" Alexis says worriedly before Velma turns a valve on a pipe causing another pipe to blast sewer water at the cockroach sending it flying at the wall.

"Nice job Velma." Alexis says as Velma unmasks the cockroach and it reveals to be Mr. Clapper.

"Mr. Clapper. Of course. He was using the cockroach monster to drum up customers for his exterminator company. Just as I thought guys. Guys?" Velma asks as she sees Shaggy and Scooby-Doo are passed out on the floor, Daphne is freaking while Alexis is trying to calm her down and Fred is still trapped in the flypaper.

"Ew! Get it away!" Daphne shouts in alarm.

"Daphne it's just a harmless little cockroach." Alexis says as she stiffles back some laughter.

"To you maybe but not to me!" Daphne shouts in alarm.

"I think we could all use a nice vacation." Velma says.

"Vacation?" Scooby-Doo asks.

*Timeskip*

"No Daphne." Fred says as the group is in the van.

"Please." Alexis says as she is in the back seat with Shaggy and Scooby-Doo in wolf form.

"Don't do it. We're begging you." Shaggy says.

"I'm sorry, guys, but I have to do this. Show tunes make road trips so much better." Daphne says as she puts a disc in the disc player and begins playing show tunes.

"Ugh. Depends who you ask. Those songs are so annoying once stuck in your head." Alexis says as she covers her ears with her paws.

"Well I don't hear Velma complaining." Daphne says.

"Did you say something? Oh are we still listening to show tunes?" Velma asks as she takes some headphones out of her ears.

"You all complain now but I bet you'll be singing along in no time." Daphne says.

"Haha. You hear that Scoob?" Shaggy asks.

"Yeah." Scooby-Doo says as he laughs.

"So Velma where is it exactly you're taking us?" Alexis asks.

"Yeah. Are you ever gonna reveal our secret vacation destination?" Fred asks.

"Not till we get there. You guys are gonna love it." Velma says.

"Just as long as they've got plenty of sunshine." Daphne says happily.

"And plenty of places to relax and have fun." Alexis says.

"There is only one thing Scooby-Doo and I are hoping for this vacation and that's no more ghouls and ghosts." Shaggy says.

"Yeah." Scooby-Doo says happily.

"Same here." Alexis, Fred, Daphne and Velma says in union.

*Timeskip*

"Hey look our destination." Velma says as she sees a sign in the road.

"See? Show tunes really do help pass the time." Daphne says.

"Petit Chauve Sourie Ville? Huh. Sounds interesting Velma." Alexis says.

"Like it sounds monster-free to me." Shaggy says.

"Yeah. Up top." Scooby-Doo says as he and Shaggy high five.

"What does the French translate to?" Fred asks.

"Oh it means Little Bat Town." Velma says.

"Uh-oh." Scooby-Doo says worriedly.

"Not to worry Scoob. Velma promised us this place would be ghost, ghoul, and goblin-free." Shaggy says before Velma stops the van as a boy dressed as a vampire walks out into the road.

"Hey I'm stalking here! I'm stalking here!" The boy says angrily as he keeps walking.

"Rude kid." Alexis says as she shifts to human form.

"She didn't say anything about vampires." Fred says.

"Didn't I? Mm must've slipped my mind." Velma says as everyone but Scooby-Doo and Shaggy get out of the van.

"Guys you can come out now. It was only a kid in a costume. A rude one at that." Alexis says as she opens the back doors.

"Like you sure?" Shaggy asks fearfully.

"Absolutely. He's probably just here for the vampire festival." Velma says.

"Oh. Vampire festival!?" Shaggy asks in alarm.

"Yup. Vampire Palooza." Velma says.

"You brought us to a vampire convention?" Shaggy asks worriedly.

"To relax?" Scooby-Doo asks confusedly.

"Not a vampire convention. It's a celebration of all things vampiric." Velma says.

"Sounds interesting. Definitely something different from back home." Alexis says.

"Cool. And what better place to experience it than Little Bat Town." Fred says excitedly.

"Ooh! Vampires are so romantic? Have you read Silverlight?" Daphne asks excitedly.

"Twelve times. I'm hoping the author will be here to sign it." Velma says as she pulls out a book.

"Are we missing something here? Like what's so romantic about undead creatures who sleep in coffins... Prowl the night in search of victims to steal their blood and turn them into their zombie servants?" Shaggy asks worriedly as he and Scooby-Doo get out of the van.

"Oh those are old-school vampires. Modern vampires are fun and super-cool." Daphne says.

"Vampires don't sleep in coffins any more. They sleep in Seattle." Velma says.

"I don't think that's helping." Alexis says as she looks at a worried Shaggy and Scooby-Doo.

"It's not." Shaggy says.

"Uh-uh." Scooby-Doo says.

"Says here this place was founded in the 19th century by Abraham Van Helsing. The famous vampire hunter of Dracula fame." Fred says as he and Velma look at a statue.

"And it's still owned by one of the Van Helsings' descendants." Velma says.

"So it's like a ghost town." Shaggy says worriedly as he and Scooby-Doo hide behind Alexis.

"No. A vampire ghost town." Velma says.

"This is the last time we let you pick the vacation spot." Shaggy says angrily.

"Relax guys. There's absolutely nothing to fear." Fred says.

"Hey Scoob when have we heard that before?" Shaggy asks.

"Every day of our lives." Scooby-Doo says as he looks through a book.

"You guys worry too much." Velma says.

"Well we're not the only ones." Shaggy says as the group sees a guy trying to get vampires banned as Shaggy and Scooby-Doo go over before Fred finds some corn dogs at a stand.

"Here there be demons." The man says as he tries to get Shaggy and Scooby-Doo to sign his petition.

"Here there also be corn dogs." Fred says as Scooby-Doo and Shaggy quickly follow him for the food.

"Fools. Fools I say. Will you allow temptation to lure you into the fangy den of the bloodsucker?" The man asks.

" Pretty much. Corn dogs!" Shaggy shouts as he and Scooby-Doo eat some corn dogs.

"Well that got their attention." Alexis says as she smiles.

"Always does." Daphne says as the group goes inside the gate with a woman.

"We're guests of Vincent Van Helsing. He owns-" Velma then gets cut off by the woman.

"Yes, yes. I'm Lita Rutland, owner of the festival. I know who Van Helsing is. Unfortunately no one else does. Imagine a vampire author in these vampire-crazed times who doesn't sell any books." The woman says.

"Maybe he's just having an off day." Daphne says.

"Yeah maybe." Lita says.

"He's still one of the foremost authorities on vampire history." Velma says.

"Perhaps but the world's moved on from his old-school vampire tales." Lita says.

"Well I've read all his books. I think." Velma says.

"Well you kids enjoy your free lunch. I mean your time here at Vampire Palooza." Lita says as she leaves before the group walks away.
