*YOUR POV*
My eyes fluttered open to meet Harry's. I gave him a small smile that he returned, tightening his hold on me in the small bunk of the tour bus.
"Morning." He whispered huskily, moving his lips to my neck.
"Morning." I mumbled in return, combing my fingers through his thick waves as he kissed my skin.
"I have to be in the stadium in an hour." He groaned and nuzzled further into me.
"Better get ready, then." I kissed his forehead and eased myself away from him, hearing him whine as I left his bunk.
"Don't leave." He whispered dramatically. "Don't leave me."
I rolled my eyes and laughed as I left him to get breakfast with the boys.
I eyed the swarm of fans outside the tour bus, screaming and crying as they tried to get a glimpse of the boys. The nervous butterflies made me feel slightly sick as I pictured pushing through a crowd of people who hate me. The last time I'd gone through the mob of yelling girls I actually had some hair pulled out - it hurt like fuck.
"Baby?" I turned at the sound of Harry's voice, smiling at him as he slipped his arms around my waist and kissed me softly.
"There are so many people outside." I breathed and leaned against him.
"I know." He kissed my temple. "You'll be okay."
"Sure." I grumbled. "They're going to rip my hair out."
"They'll be more interested in my hair than yours." Harry boasted as he flipped his long hair sassily.
"They won't wanna pull my hair because they like it - they'll pull my hair because they hate me." I sighed, pouring coffee into my mug and walking to the small sofa where Zayn and Niall were already seated.
"They don't hate you." Harry protested, but it was pointless. I knew they did. "They're just jealous."
"Yeah, and that jealousy leads to hatred." I sipped my coffee as I flopped down beside Zayn.
"What are you talking about?" Zayn questioned.
"How your fans will yank my hair out when I go into the stadium with you guys." I mumbled, scowling at the thought.
"What if I tweet telling them not to?" Zayn suggested.
"It won't work. I highly doubt they'll listen. It's not like they listened to Liam when he told them to leave because it was a snake habitat." I giggled lightly at the memory and Zayn snorted while Niall snickered. Harry just scowled at me.
"You'll be fine, Y/N. It's just a mob."
I almost choked on my coffee. "Just a mob? Are you crazy? I nearly died once."
"Stop being so dramatic." Harry put his head in my lap and I was tempted to pour my coffee on his pretty face.
"Fine, but if I die, it's your fault." I prodded his nose and he smiled.
"You won't die. No one's girlfriend has ever been killed in a mob."
"There's a first for everything." My nervousness grew as I observed the growing crowd outside the bus.
Louis entered the room, looking tired and sleep deprived. "They scream so loud." He fondly said as he collapsed into the sofa.
"Where's Liam?" I asked.
"Asleep." He responded, rolling his head back.
At least one of us could sleep with the screaming outside and the thought of going through the mob. I huffed and played with the ends of my hair, ignoring Harry falling asleep again on my lap.
"Alright, time to go." Liam ordered everyone half an hour later. "Everyone ready?"
I was just finishing up with my mascara when the tour bus door was opened and the screaming was significantly up a few octaves. My stomach churned and I set my makeup down, fiddling with my fingers as I walked up to Harry. He slipped his arm around my waist and kissed my temple. "You'll be okay."
"I know." I muttered, though I didn't. Leaning my head on his shoulder, I gripped his hand tightly, feeling his thumb run along my skin soothingly.
"Y/N?" Liam frowned. "You look really pale, are you okay?"
"I'm fine." I lied, gulping slowly. My head was spinning and I felt lightheaded. I didn't say anything though. No need to worry Harry for no reason.
Louis stepped out of the tour bus first, more security gathered to assist us but I was still nervous as hell. I tightened my hold on Harry's hand and he winced.
"Calm down Y/N." He kissed me quickly as Liam left with Sophia. The screams grew impossibly loud and I flinched, biting my bottom lip.
After my first experience pushing through the fans, I didn't want to do it ever again.
I stepped out of the bus with Harry, closing my eyes momentarily. The crowd shrieked as they saw him, clawing their way passed security to touch the boys. My breath hitched and I forced my legs to follow Harry to the vast crowd of screaming girls.
He was still holding my hand and it was obvious they didn't like it. I felt the flash of cameras blind me and I looked at the ground, attempting to hide my face. I knew we'd reached the girls when nails scratched at my skin. Harry held me close, one hand holding the back of my neck as if he was trying to prevent anyone from pulling my hair. Our heads were close together as we pushed through the fans, security shouting over their yells to tell them to move back. Paul appeared beside me, setting his hand on my arm to basically drag me while protecting me.
I gritted my teeth as someone dug their nails into my skin. Yanking my arm away, I swore softly as I rubbed the sore spot.
"You okay?" Harry whispered in my ear.
"Fine, you?" I grumbled.
"I, uh, I think I lost some hair but otherwise I'm okay."
I nearly laughed at him, thankfully exiting the crowd and running into the building. Apart from the sharp pain in my arm where a fan had scratched me, I was okay. It wasn't as bad as I had expected, but my head was spinning and I felt like I was going to be sick.
"Harry." I mumbled, holding onto his arm.
"Jesus, Y/N, your arm is all red and scratched. Are you sure you're okay?"
"Harry." I repeated, but he wasn't listening.
"I'll get someone to fix that up, it's nearly bleeding."
"I'm going to -" Before I could warn him that I was about to faint, the entire room started spinning and I gagged, about to puke when my knees buckled everything when black.
*HARRY'S POV*
I jumped as I felt Y/N sag against me. "Y/N, what -?" I turned around and gasped as her eyes shut and she collapsed into my arms.
My heartbeat sped up and I swept her up into my arms, panicking as I ran through the corridor into the dressing rooms where the boys had already gone.
"What happened?" Liam gaped as I settled my unconscious girlfriend onto the sofa.
"She just collapsed!" I breathed. "Right after we got in, she was talking to me and she just... fainted. Call an ambulance!" I started slapping her cheeks lightly to wake her up as Liam dialled 999. "C'mon, baby, wake up." I whispered, kissing all over her face.
She stirred slightly but didn't wake. I chewed on my bottom lip harshly, nerves flooding my stomach as I leaned over her. I slapped her cheeks again, harder this time, but her eyes remained closed. Fuck.
"They're on their way." Liam informed me, kneeling down beside Y/N. "Does she get nervous like this a lot?"
"No, just when there're big crowds around." I fidgeted with the hem of my shirt.
"Harry, calm down. She'll be fine. It was probably panic induced."
"She needs to wake up." My voice cracked.
"She will. Soon. People don't usually faint for a long time."
Paramedics arrived and bustled into our room. I knew they'd be quick; there was a hospital not far away from here. They lifted Y/N onto a stretcher as Zayn entered the room. His jaw dropped. "What the hell happened?"
"No time to explain." I hastily pushed him out of my way and followed the paramedics out of the second exit of the stadium (where there were few fans) and rushed into the ambulance with her. I took hold of her hand tightly, as she did before, and kissed the skin repeatedly. I didn't care that we had a show soon; I just needed to be with her. Liam can explain my absence.
"Sir," One of the paramedics caught my attention. "What do you think may have caused Miss Y/L/N to faint?"
"Well, um, we were leaving the tour bus to get into the stadium and there were loads of fans outside waiting. She kind of gets nervous when going through the crowds because people pull at her hair and scratch her. Before we left she was really scared and one of the fans scratched her badly." I gulped. "I guess she had a panic attack or something."
"That is the most likely explanation." The paramedic nodded. "I'm sure she'll wake up in a couple of hours. But fainting during a panic attack can be dangerous, it's a good thing you called the ambulance."
I nodded and rested my cheek against Y/N's hand, panic slowly dying down as I realised I didn't need to get so scared. She'd be fine.
*
I'd been in the hospital room for about an hour now. The doctor did all the necessary tests on Y/N and concluded she did faint due to a panic attack and she'd be fine when she woke up. A little disorientated, but fine nonetheless. I sat beside her the whole time, ignoring my phone blowing up with messages and calls from the boys and management. The boys were asking if Y/N was okay and management was telling me to get my arse back at the stadium. It was shocking how all they cared about was publicity when my girlfriend was in hospital.
Y/N's eyes fluttered open and she coughed lightly, looking confused.
"Y/N!" I yelled, much too loud, and jumped on her, hugging her tight. "God, I've been so worried about you."
"Harry." She mumbled. "Water."
I snatched the cup of water from the bedside table and handed it over to her, watching in adoration as she gulped down the cool liquid.
"Why am I here?" She fiddled her fingers as she eyed the white walls.
"After we got through the mob into the stadium you sort of... panicked and fainted."
"I panicked after?" She groaned. "That's so embarrassing. Did I just... drop?"
"You kind of slumped." I couldn't hold in my laughter. I was so happy and giddy that she was awake. Now that everything was okay I could joke about what happened... if she was okay with that, of course. "I had to try and slap you awake."
"Oh really?" She cocked an eyebrow and smirked at me. "And how did you find that?"
"It really was nice to let out all of my frustrations..." I smiled cheekily, grabbing hold of her hand again.
"Shut up." She giggled, then gasped as she realised something. "Harry, don't you have a show now?"
"Yeah, but I can stay. It's fine. I've been here for an hour, anyway."
"No, you should go."
"How are you feeling?" I changed the subject and she knew it.
"A bit cold and dizzy, but I'm fine."
"Cold, you say?" I climbed into bed with her and wrapped my arms around her small frame, pushing her down so we were spooning. "Better?"
"Much." She intertwined our fingers and legs, enjoying my warmth and touch.
I grinned like an idiot. "I'm so relieved."
"I bet."
"You have no idea how happy I am right now."
"Sure."
"I panicked when you fainted, y'know. For a second I thought you were dead."
"Dead?" She turned over to face me. "You thought I just... dropped dead?"
"Yeah, it scared the living shit out of me. Then I realised, like two nanoseconds later, that you'd just fainted."
"Oh."
"It was still scary though. I made Liam call an ambulance."
"That's a bit dramatic. I would've woken up after a while."
"No, it was necessary. I don't want to take any risks with you." I kissed her nose, then lips, sighing as she deepened the kiss. I slipped my tongue into her mouth and moved so I was hovering over her. Her hands tangled in my hair, tugging gently as her teeth nipped my lower lip. I groaned lightly into her mouth and pulled away. "Don't get too carried away." I teased.
"You started it."
I snorted and began kissing down her neck, playfully growling against the soft skin as Y/N laughed loudly, obviously very ticklish.
Someone cleared their throat and we both sprang apart. I snickered as Y/N blushed furiously.
"Mr Styles, Miss Y/L/N." Doctor Adams spoke, frowning.
"Sorry, Doc." I grinned. "Couldn't help myself." Y/N shot me a dirty look, which I ignored.
"Well I hope it doesn't happen again."
Y/N opened her mouth to speak but I cut her off. "No promises."
Doctor Adams flushed and looked down momentarily. "I would have to ask you to leave if you proceed in engaging in such activities -"
"Whoa, whoa, I was joking." I put my hands up in defence. "No more."
"Good." He looked back at his clipboard as Y/N glared at me. I shot her a winning smile and she rolled her eyes but couldn't keep the grin off her face.
"Miss Y/L/N, how are you feeling?"
"Um... slightly dizzy and disorientated. A bit cold, but otherwise I'm fine."
"I'll ask a nurse to get you a hot drink. Any preferences?"
"Tea is fine." She responded and he nodded.
"As for dizziness, you will experience that for a bit longer, but if you want you can leave later on today, providing you don't get worse."
"Okay." Y/N nodded and Doctor Adams left to alert the nurse on her tea.
"I'll stay with you." I said and she immediately shook her head.
"No, you have to go to work." That was true, but it's not like they could do anything if I didn't go.
"You're more important." I protested.
"And I'm fine. I have the nurses and doctors to take care of me. Your fans are who matter right now."
"No, you are and you might get lonely."
"I'll make some friends. Go."
"Fiiine," I dragged out, sighing. "But I'll just feel guilty for the rest of the day. I might even cry."
She rolled her eyes. "Where's my phone?"
"In the dressing room in the stadium."
"Shit." She muttered. "Bring it for me later when you pick me up, okay?"
"Okay." I nodded and bent down to press my lips to hers. I had to pull away too early for my liking, before the kiss became something more. "I love you."
"I love you." She reciprocated and kissed me again.
I made my way to the door. "See you later, yeah?"
"I miss you already."
