Then I saw what I thought was my nightmare. It was Aisha holding my diary in her hand. I felt myself froze. Right then and there.
"Well well well, look who's finally here." She yelled
"W-what are you doing?" I said
"Hmm well what do you think I am? I'm here to expose your little secrets."
"I don't have any"
"Well your diary says something else. Let's see, oh look at this! The very last diary entry,
"Dear diary,
Today I figured out that very chaotic stuff happened to Sora and nawaf. I won't go into detail as much but I will say that it left Sora heartbroken. I also didn't only want to make this about Sora but also about Cris. I think I might be falling in love with him. We kept making eye contact and I feel so many butterflies in my stomach every time he looks at me with his eyes. He's so handsome and majestic and fine and just perfect. Gosh. I think I love him...."
Well look at that! Little ms in love with a guy who she thinks she has a chance with. How cute." Aisha said.
I froze and stood there, in complete shock. I tried my best to not cry bc I always thought it was embarrassing to cry in front of others, but I felt a tear shed down my face. I processed what Aisha said. It wasn't the fact that she told everyone who my crush was, it was the fact that she said it right in front of the person who i liked. Cris. I ran away with tears in my eyes. It was the worst thing that could've ever happened to me on this trip. I shut the door to my room and I got into my bed and cried. I felt like my life was over.
Sora came into my room and closed the door, locking it. She comforted me. And tried to cheer me up. But nothing was helping, I was a sobbing wreck.
"I'm so sorry Jeana, I know how it feels to be embarrassed."
"Sora, you don't understand. She made me look bad in front of everyone. You just looked bad in front of one person. I feel like my life is over."
"It's okay, listen Jeana. Just take a nap. You'll feel better after you wake up. I will always be here for you. Okay?"
I nodded slowly and closed my eyes. Hoping that the pain would go away soon.
Cris' POV
Just a few moments ago, I found out that Jeana likes me. But in the worst way possible I found that out. Aisha embarrassed her in front of everyone. She went to her room, sobbing. The thought of her being hurt and crying made me fuel inside. It made me angry to know that there was someone making her feel like this. I couldn't hold it anymore. Normally, I never yell at someone out of rage. But this was the last straw. Especially from Aisha.
"Aisha why the fuck would you do that?" I almost shouted.
"What? She deserved it. Besides babe, I know we both belong together."
"How many times do I need to tell you until you can get the information into that tiny fucking brain of yours? You. Don't. Mean. Shit. To. Me." I almost shouted, again.
"You don't mean that."
"Oh I do. With every fucking bloodstream within me. I fucking mean it."
"But what about when we were together?"
"I was nice enough to not reject you. But I regret being with you. Just to let you know, I don't belong to you. And also, you're kinda mid anyway."
She stood there. In shock. I just walked away before it got too out of control. Sure, I was more angry than usual, but I'm not the type of guy to get physical with anyone. Only if it's out of pure fun. But not like this. Especially with a girl. I wasn't gonna argue. Especially with Aisha. So I just walked away. Then, my mind wandered back to Jeana and how she might be feeling.
I wanted to knock on her door but then Sora came out.
"Oh hey Sora, is everything ok with Jeana?"
"Cris. If you don't like her, leave her alone."
"N-no. Listen Sora, I Never rlly told anyone except for nawaf. But I'm crazy about Jeana. She is perfect. I love her in every single way even if she can be annoying at times. I care about her more than I've ever cared about anyone before. I really do wanna know if she's feeling better."
"You rlly mean that Cris?"
"Mhm. On my mums life."
Sora chuckled.
"Well if you must know, she's taking a nap right now. So come check on her in about 2 hours."
"Okay, thank you Sora, also don't tell her."
"Mhm. I won't. She'll figure it out."
Sora smiled and walked away. I put on a timer on my phone for 2 hours. I couldn't wait any longer to see Jeana. I wanted to be with her, hug her, cheer her up, comfort her, talk to her, tell her my true feelings. But all good things take time. Don't they?
Jeana's POV
I woke up at about 9pm. I still felt like absolute shit since the incident between Aisha, Cris and I. Then, someone knocked softly on our door. Probably Sora.
"Can I come in?" Said a voice which was not Sora's.
"M-mhm." I said, slightly stuttering.
Then, someone came in. Cris. Great, like this day could get any worse.
"What do you want? Wanna tell me the same thing nawaf told Sora? That he doesn't see her that way and tha-"
"I like you too." He said, interrupting me.
I stopped dead in my tracks and turned to look at him, in his eyes.
"What?" I said
"You heard me. I like you. Actually not only like. I love you. Jeana, I love you."
My eyes widened at his remarkable words.
"You feel the same way as I do?"
"Since the day we met."
He sat down on my bed, next to me. He looked at me in silence.
"So...you don't think I'm a weirdo?"
"Nah, if I would then I would be one myself" he said, making me laugh slightly.
"O-ok well then, is that the only reason you're here?" I asked.
"No actually, I wanted to check up on you." ( omg I wish I had a bf like this 😭. Nvm I'm too young. )
"Oh okay, well thank you." I said and smiled at him, this time actually genuinely, noticeably smiled at him. Like the lovingly type of smiles you only see in movies when the woman is deeply in love with the male.
"So are you feeling better?" He asked
"Mhm. Now that you're here" I said, making him chuckle
"Ignore anything Aisha said btw, you have a bigger chance with me than she'll ever have."
"Does that mean...?"
"Yes. I wanna be your boyfriend."
"Aren't we a little too young?"
"Could be the case, but yk, without all the cringy parts?" He added, chuckling.
"Sure, why not?" I said, laughing.
We looked at each other and made eye contact. Then, he slowly put his hand on my cheek and leaned in to kiss me. As my lips touched his softly, I couldn't help but wonder. What if Aisha never did what she did? I ignored everything around me and melted into his warm lips. It felt like an angels touch. The way he comforted me, the way he held me, the way he kissed me, everything. I was so lost in the moment with him that I haven't even noticed Sora and nawaf standing right at the door. We pulled apart from each other and looked at each other.
Cris' POV
As we pulled apart from each other after our kiss, we made eye contact. Gosh, her adorable face and her beautiful eyes made me weak. It made me blush and I couldn't help but soften my gaze at her. Then suddenly, our moment was interrupted by Sora talking.
"Ahem, are you guys still hereeee?" Sora said
"O-oh im so sorry guys! Jeana said, cutely flustered by our encounter.
"It's okay, we have something to tell you guys." Nawaf said
"Oh what?" I said
"Sora and I are together." He said.
Oh.
"That's great!" Jeana said.
"Yh, nawaf talk to me for a sec."
I got up from jeana's bed and pulled nawaf away from Sora.
"Nawaf."
"What?"
"Don't Play with Sora's feelings."
"Im not. I really do like her."
"Ok but don't give her false hopes. I don't want her to end up heartbroken and never trusting a guy ever again after you break her heart."
"Is that all you think of me? The guy who breaks sora's heart?"
"Nah but listen, I'm just saying. Don't do something you know you can't stay dedicated to."
He rolled his eyes and walked away. I meant everything I said. I shortly followed him to the girls after. It was now 9:30pm so nawaf and I went back to our rooms. I kissed Jeana on the cheek and said good night. Nawaf did the same.
Jeana's POV
Cris kissed me on the cheek and said good night before going to his room with nawaf. The news about Sora and nawaf shocked me, I just hoped that Sora made the right decision, I hoped I did too. I stood up and went to the bathroom where I brushed my teeth. Sora also brushed her teeth and we both shortly went to bed afterwards. What a long day.
