The scene takes place at the Pokemon School, the students were chatting and laughing while the Pokemon and were playing around. But for Niku and Eevee, Niku is sitting near a wall with Eevee on his lap napping not really wanting to play but stay with it's trainer. All of sudden, Togedemaru was acting hyper and energetic and bashing into everyone while Niku was calm about it.
Togedemaru was rolling over to Niku and Eevee, when Eevee sensed it coming and jumped up but Niku turned sideways and it missed him. Eevee was near Lillie, but she flinched and so Mallow went over to Lillie and help her out.
Mallow: Lillie!
Eevee landed on the floor and ran back to Niku. Togedemaru was only making things worse and slammed into Pikachu, and knocking multiple books.
Ash: Are you alright Pikachu?
Pikachu: Pika...
Togedemaru continued on being hyper.
Niku: Hey Sophocles, don't just stand there, do somehting about this!
Sophocles: Sorry, but there is no stopping it.
Niku:...-_-... Gee thanks...
Lillie: Thank you very much Mallow.
Mallow: Don't sweat it.
Sophocles: Sorry... I'll make sure to lecture Togedemaru about this...
Ash: Oh yeah, that's right, you can't touch Pokemon...
Niku looked over Lillie.
Niku: We'll that explains everything.
Lillie: I can touch them! It is just that I require a logically sound reason for why I should want to do so, but if I do have one, I should be able to touch them!
Niku:...-_-... You probably have found one yet have you?
Lana: She hasn't touched any since she first came to the school.
Lillie then looked down disheartened.
Lillie: That is correct...
Kiawe: You shouldn't push yourself.
Ash: Yeah. You'll be able to touch them eventually, dont worry.
Lillie: That... That is correct, is it not...?
Kukui: You guys all here?
Everyone looked to see Kukui walking in.
Niku: Hey, what's up?
Kukui: We're going to the Principal's office. Principal Oak has a special class for you.
Everyone: Special Class?
Niku: Wait? Oak? Could it be...?
Later
After heading over to Principal Oak's office, they see him standing at his desk expecting them.
Principal Oak: Oh! I've been waiting for you visiTamanta, Mantain.
Niku...-_-... Wait, what?
Lana: You'll get used to it.
Niku:...-_-... I doubt that highly.
The Principal pulled out two eggs and, a white one and a red one.
Niku: Pokemon Eggs huh.
Eevee: Vui?
Principal Oak: The red one is the one Ash brought from Kanto. And the other one was found in Lanakila Mountain the other day.
Sophocles: Did you analyze them and figure out what kind of eggs they are?
Principal Oak: You'll have to wait and see for your selves. Now then, why don't I raise one and you guys the other. How does that sound?
Mallow: Us?
Niku: He's got a point about this. This is a good way to understand how to raise an egg.
Kukui: Right, it is also a form of studying.
Lillie: We are going too look after the egg together?
Kukui: Correct. You'll observe the egg's state every day and document any changes to it. Simple enough, right?
Niku: So which one will you all choose?
Lana: This is hard...
Mallow looked over at Lillie.
Mallow: Hey, which one do you like more, Lillie?
Lillie then pointed to the white one.
Lillie: Personally prefer... this one.
Sophocles: Why?
Lillie: This one has a pattern that looks like flowers, so I find it very cute.
Mallow: You're right. It's cute!
Lana: So cute!
Sophocles: That's why?
Niku: What, does it matter?
Sophocles: Well, no, but...
Mallow: We've decided on this one, then!
Ash: I wonder what kind of pokemon it'll be.
Kiawe: Who knows? I hope it's a strong one.
Lana: Let's play with it once the egg hatches.
Principle Oak: That concludes my special class. I wish you Luckoduck, Golduck!
Everyone: Thank You!
Niku:...-_-... Good grief...
Everyone left and everyone left the when Niku was gonna follow but then the other egg shaked.
Niku: Huh?
Eevee: Vee?
Niku: It moved.
Niku put's it hand on the egg and it reacted to him like it grew attached to him.
Niku: Huh, looks like this one took a liking to me. Right Eevee.
Eevee: Vee.
Timeskip
After returning back to class with there new Pokemon Egg, they placed it on a desk, standing around it.
Ash: Oh! It feels a bit warm!
Mallow: You're right! It feels really alive.
Sophocles: Let me touch.
Lana: Wow...
Kiawe: Ooh.
Niku looked back at Lillie, who was standing back.
Niku: Dont't be afraid Lillie. Try touching it.
Lillie: Huh?
Mallow: Yeah! Niku's right.
Lillie: But... But I...
Niku walked over to Lillie and put a comforting hand on her shoulder.
Niku: There's no rush in trying. But you can still try. It just takes time ok?
Lillie thought about it for a second and looked up with a determined look.
Lillie: You're completely correct.
Lillie then attempted to touch the egg, only for it to shake, scaring her, and ran into Niku's chest.
Niku: Huh?!...-_- Uh Lillie... You can let go now...
Lillie: No!
Ash: It moved.
Sophocles: It sure did.
Lana: That's a sign that it's healthy.
Mallow: Sorry, Lillie...
Lillie calmed down and let go of Niku.
Lillie: No, no, everything is fine.
Sophocles: I wonder what's going on inside the egg, though. Rotom, try scanning it.
Rotom: I'm not programmed to do that.
Lana: Hey... What should we do with the Egg at night?
Mallow: Oh, good question.
Sophocles: We can't leave it in the classroom.
Kiawe: Someone has to take it home with them.
Ash: We'll do it!
Niku:...-_-... That wouldn't work.
Mallow: I think Lillie should do it!
Everyone but Niku: Huh?
Lana: But Lillie can't...
Mallow: That's exactly why. I think taking care of the egg will make her get used to Pokemon, little by little. What do think! Will you try?
Lillie looked surprised and a bit hesitant.
Lillie: I... Uh... I...
Sophocles: Don't push yourself too hard.
Lillie continued to think about it, looking at the egg before gaining another determined look.
Lillie: I'll give it a try! I am a student at the Pokemon School! I can do this!
Mallow: That's right! You can do this, Lillie!
Sophocles: Will you really be okay?
Lana: She will. This is Lillie we're talking about.
Niku: I'm positive she will succeed.
Ash: Do your best.
Kiawe: We're counting on you.
Lillie: I understand. I'll do my best.
Timeskip
The end of the day has arrived, and everyone was getting ready to leave, and Mallow was apologizing to Lillie.
Mallow: I'm really sorry! The restaurant needs my assisstance. Niku, I trust you to help her out.
Niku: Dont worry. I'll make sure Lillie and the egg will make it home ok.
Lillie: Please do your best, Mallow. I'll see you tomorrow.
Mallow: Right, see you!
Mallow then ran off, as Niku looked over at Lillie.
Niku: So, where do you live?
Lillie: It's somewhat far away, but were going to be picked up.
Niku: By who?
Suddenly, a car pulled up to them.
Lillie: Oh, there he is.
Niku: Not bad...
Eevee: Vee...
After being picked up by Lillie's driver, the two of them made it to Lillie's house, and was greeted by her butler.
???: Welcome home, Lady Lillie.
Lillie: I'm back. This is my classmate and his partner Eevee.
???: Welcome. I'm the house's butler. My name is James.
Niku: It's an honor to meet you.
Eevee: Eevee.
James: I'm terribly sorry, but could Eevee kindly wait in the courtyard?
Niku: Why's that?
Lillie: That won't be necessary, James. They came here today for my sake, after all.
James: Is that so? In that case, come this way.
Niku walked in with Eevee on shoulder following Lillie and James inside her mansion, and he was surprised by how big it was.
Niku: Wow, nice house.
James: I must apologize for my earlier request. You see, we do not ordinarily allow Pokemon to enter the house.
Lillie: That is because they would startle me...
Niku: That would make perfect sense.
Lillie: Instead, we had a Pokemon playground made in the courtyard, so that the Pokemon could be observed from a seperate location.
James: If we wait a little while. I believe that a large number of wild Pokemon will come to visit.
Niku: It's possible, maybe?
Niku was a tour and now made it to Lillie's room.
Lillie: This is my room.
Niku: Alot of space you've got here.
Lillie then led Niku at the couch and started thinking.
Lillie: A softer place might be preferable...
Lillie then walked over to her shelf, pulling out a book.
Lillie: According to this book, it has information on eggs... Let's see...
Seeing Lillie with a serious expression made Niku smirk.
Niku: Nice Lillie. Showing how serious you are, proves you have what it takes to raise the egg
like an expert.
Lillie then placed a few pillows on the couch, stacking them together.
Lillie: How's that?
Niku set the egg down on the spot Lillie made, as he did, the egg started shaking.
Niku: It would appear it likes the spot you made.
Lillie: R-Really? Great! I cannot believe I'm taking care of a precious egg. I have to study more. I promise, I'll make sure to hatch it to a healthy state.
Niku: You really like Pokemon, dont you?
Niku then noticed a picture on the table, which was of a younger Lillie holding a Lillipup and others who appear to be her family.
Niku: This is you right?
Lillie: Yes.
Niku: Something must've happened to you to not want to touch Pokemon.
Lillie: Yes....
James: Lady Lillie likes Pokemon from a very young age and played with them as well.
Niku: Is ok to ask what happened?
Lillie: You see... I do not remember...
Niku: Cant remember huh.
James: It's like this. Lady Lillie and the Mistress moved to another mansion for a period of time. Ever since she returned from there, Lady Lillie has been unable to touch Pokemon.
Niku: I see... And you were just a kid. Remembering something traumatic at that age is hard to remember.
Lillie: Really?
Niku: I've seen many things at that age that were hard to witness. It wasn't easy to move on but Eevee was with me for the hard times. Right, Eevee?
Eevee: Eevee!
Niku: Anyway, the other two in the picture are other members of your family right?
Lillie: That's right. That's my mother and older brother.
James: Her mother is currently working at the mansion I mentioned.
Lillie: My brother is elsewhere.
Niku: Hmmm.. Hey Lillie.
Lillie: Hmm?
Niku: How about we start practicing?
Lillie looked at Niku confused.
Lillie: Practice?
Niku: Touching Pokemon of course.
Lillie: Huh?
Niku: Eevee, you know what to do.
Eevee: Eevee.
Eevee jumped on the table, surprising Lillie. Niku walked behind Lillie so she wouldn't hurt herself.
Niku: Don't worry, Eevee wont hurt you. Give it a try. Nice and easy.
Lillie: I... I will.
Okay Lillie slowly moved her hand over to pet Eevee, but Eevee moved it's paw up and licked it, scaring Lillie thinking it would bite she ran to Niku's chest.
Niku: ...-_-... Eevee, don't do that... That scared her...
Eevee: Vee?
Niku looked away putting his hand under his chin to think. He snapped his fingers with an idea.
Niku: That's it!
Niku carefully pushed Lillie off him and put his hands on her arm to calm her.
Niku: It's alright Lillie. I know it's hard, but don't give up ok.
Lillie: You're right...
Niku: I think I have a Pokemon who might like to be petted. So Lillie, allow me to introduce you to this one. Come out, Meowscarada.
Niku threw a Pokeball and out came one of his Pokemon he had when he first started in Paldea.
Meowscarada: Meow.
Niku: Hey Meowscarada.
Meowscarada saw Niku and jumped at him hugging him.
Lillie: Wow that's another new one I've never before.
James: Indeed.
Niku: Hehe. Ok ok, good to see you Meowscarada.
Meowscarada let go of Niku and went over to Eevee and when they saw each other Eevee jumped at Meowscarada and nuzzled into her.
Niku: Reunions can be nice to see. Anyway Lillie, meet my Pokemon Meowscarada.
Lillie: Meowscarada?
Niku: Yeah, she's a Pokemon from the Paldea Region.
Lillie: Paldea?
Niku: Yeah, it's sort of like Alola only the school system is different.
James: Well that would make sense Master Niku.
Niku: Well then, Meowscarada come over here.
Meowscarada walked over to Niku and stood in front of him. Niku looked over at Lillie.
Niku: Meowscarada here really likes to being petted. So this might give a good start. What do you say Lillie?
Lillie: Ok... I'll try
Meowscarada: Meow
Niku stood back and Meowscrada stood still and waited for her hand to reach. Lillie closed her eyes being afraid so Meowscarada moved its head slowly to her hand. Niku and James saw it and were very proud.
Niku: Lillie, look what you did!
Lillie: Huh?
Lillie saw her hand on Meowscarada's head and she was happy. Lillie had some tears and continued to pet its and Meowscarada purred.
James: We'll I'll be. This is a miracle.
Niku: Well I wouldn't be to so sure about that.
James: What do you mean?
Niku: Lillie may have touch Meowscarada because it trusts her, but this chance is not enough. She got lucky this time, but the next time a different Pokemon will show up she might flinch.
James: You may have a point Niku.
Niku: Well Lillie, how does it feel?
Lillie: She's so cute.
Meowscarada: Meow!
Niku chuckled and Lillie hugged Niku surprising him with a little blush.
Lillie: Thank you Niku.
Niku: For what? I didn't do anything. Meowscarada did the work.
Lillie: But you helped me get a good start for touching Pokemon again.
Niku: True, but this was just the beginning. I'm pretty sure your fear is not totally gone.
Lillie: You're right, sorry.
Niku: Hey, this is just the start. Just give it time and you'll be able to touch more Pokemon again.
James: He's right Lillie.
Lillie: Thank you James and you to Niku.
Lillie blushed for the support. Niku made a small smile and looked outside and saw many wild Pokemon in the playground, as well as a battlefield.
Niku: So you have a battlefield huh?
James: We keep it well maintained, so it can be used on a moment's notice.
Lillie: Feel free to use it if you want to?
Niku: Good idea, but who will be my opponent?
Lillie: I got one.
Lillie looked over at James.
Niku: James?
Lillie: He's one of the most skilled trainers we have on staff.
Niku: Well ok. Are you in James?
James: Sure, I could use a great battle right now.
After agreeing to battle, James and Niku made their way to the battlefield and stood on opposite ends.
Niku: Let's see what you got.
James: I'll be glad to do that. And please to be to hard on me.
Niku: Sure thing. Eevee, let's do this.
Eevee:Eievui
Eevee jumps off Niku's shoulder and onto the battlefield.
James: Go, Oricorio!
Hobbes pulls out a Pokeball and sends out Oricorio.
Niku: Oh, an Oricorio.
James: So you know them , do you Niku?
Niku: I've learned a few things before and during my time here is Alola. Since Oricorio are known to change forms, I can tell its a Flying/Electric type. This is from the yellow nectar on Melemele island right?
James: That is correct sir.
Niku: Excellent, but dont think this means I will hold back. Now Eevee, Take Down!
Eevee charges with Take Down straight at Oricorio.
James: Revelation Dance!
Oricorio dodged Eevee's Quick Attack and blasted Eevee back with a beam of electricity.
Niku: Eevee, you ok?
Eevee: Eevee!
Niku: That Revelation Dance is good move. But get ready for this, Take Down again!
Eevee rushed in again with more power behind it.
James: Mirror Move!
Using Mirror Move, Oricorio copied Take Down, clasing with Eevee.
Niku: Oricorio know's Mirror Move, huh?
James: Sure does. So what's next?
Niku: I'll show ya. Take Down once more!
James: Mirror Move!
Both Eevee and Oricorio clashed with each other again with Take Down, but Niku made a comeback.
Niku: Iron Tail, go!
Eevee then used Iron Tail, slamming Oricorio into the ground.
James: Impressive... Your skills as a trainer is impressive. I haven't had so much fun battling in a long time!
Niku: Thanks, and you really are a great trainer as well.
James: Thank you Niku.
Mallow: Wow, you and James are having a battle?
Niku looked over to see Mallow walking over.
Niku: Mallow? I thought the the restaurant needed you for help.
Mallow: It did. But it's under control, so I came over to check on Lillie to see if everythings ok. And that's when I heard battling, so...
James: To think you would go to this length for milady...
Mallow: I-it's not a big deal.
Lillie: AHHHH!!
Everyone heard Lillie scream and all looked up to her room.
Niku: Oh no Lillie!
Everyone quickly ran upstairs to see Meowscarada protecting Lillie from a wild Salandit that snuck in.
James: Milady!
Niku: Lillie!
Lillie: James, Niku!
Niku saw the Salandit.
Niku: That Salandit must've snucked in without being seen. It must be here for the egg!
Salandit ran towards Meowscarada with Lillie and the egg behind it.
Niku: Dark Pulse, now!
Meowscarada sent out a powerful Dark Pulse and it was enough to send Salandit out the window, sending it away.
Meowscarada: Rada!
Niku: Well done girl. Lille, are you alright?
Lillie: Niku.... Mallow?
Mallow: I was worried about you, so I came over, But Lillie, never mind that!
Niku: Lillie you're...
Lillie: Huh?
Lillie looked down and noticed she was holding the egg, surprising her.
Lillie: What? I.... I was desperate...
The egg then started shaking in Lillie's arms, making her smile.
Lillie: It's warm...
Niku: Lillie, not only did you pet Meowscarada, your now holding an egg!
James: I'm so happy, Lady Lillie!
Mallow: This is great, and.... Wait, did you say Lillie touched the Pokemon who protected her and the egg?
Niku: Sure did, I'll tell you what happened and the others later.
Meowscarada walked over to Lillie and puts her head down and Lillie smiled and petter her. Mallow smiled with glee.
Mallow: This is great!
Niku: Maybe so, but there will be other Pokemon Lillie wont be able to touch yet. But I'm sure Lillie will be cured of her fear.
Eevee: Vee!
James: I hope so too.
