The Zombie looked at me with hunger in his eyes as K and Sho instinctively took a few steps back, fear evident in their eyes. Time seemed to slow down as uncertainty gripped us all. In that split second, my survival instincts kicked in, and I scanned the surroundings for a weapon.

Amidst the debris on the ground, a glint of light caught my eye - a sharp glass shard. Without hesitation, I seized it and hurled it towards the zombie's head with precision. The shard found its mark, and the creature crumpled to the ground, a sense of relief washing over me as I caught my breath.

As the adrenaline began to subside, my focus shifted to containment. Spotting a small room nearby, I swiftly directed K and Sho to assist me in securing the fallen zombie inside. With coordinated effort, we managed to restrain the creature and lock it away, ensuring it posed no further threat.

With a deep exhale, I released a sigh of relief, my nerves finally settling. My gaze shifted towards K and Sho, who trembled visibly, their apprehension palpable. Grasping their collars firmly, I fixed them with a stern look, my voice edged with urgency.

"Now listen, Carrot tops and Fish lips," I began, my tone measured yet charged with intensity. "I am human, just like you two, and I have my limits. My anger... it's a force to be reckoned with. I'm doing everything I can to keep it in check. But once I lose control," I paused, letting the weight of my words sink in, "Then I don't care who stands in my way."

I implored them, my grip tightening slightly, "So please, behave yourselves and if you don't, I will trap you guys in that room with that Zombie!"

Their nods of understanding prompted me to release their collars, frustration evident in my words as I muttered, "Stupid heads." Regaining composure, I urged Rachel to continue our mission, the urgency of finding the red chemical.

In the dimly lit confines of the D-34 room, amidst the remnants of the abandoned lab, our search intensified. Time seemed to stretch as we scoured every corner, every shelf.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Rachel's triumphant voice rang out as she discovered the elusive red chemical. Swiftly gathering the vials into her bag, a sense of accomplishment filled the air as we prepared to move forward.

As we made our way through the dimly lit corridors of the lab, the weight of accomplishment hung heavy in the air. Our mission, though fraught with challenges, was finally complete. Each step echoed off the sterile walls as we neared the exit, anticipation mingling with relief.

But then, a sudden interruption shattered the tranquility. Footsteps, faint at first but steadily growing louder, sliced through the silence. Instinctively, I motioned for K, Sho, and Rachel to halt, my senses on high alert.

As the sound drew nearer, a figure emerged from the shadows, her presence announcing itself with an air of familiarity tinged with tension. With blonde hair cascading around her shoulders and dressed in sleek black attire, she exuded an aura of confidence that matched her calculated stride.

Recognition flickered within me as I locked eyes with her. It was the same girl from our previous encounter in the lab, her smirk a haunting echo of our past confrontation.

Ugh? Just perfect! Just perfect! What's the deal with that ditzy blonde chick showing up out of the blue, huh? Why, oh why, is she here, adding to the madness! Dealing with these two numbskulls is bad enough, and now she's here to turn up the annoyance dial!

"Hey, nice to see you here again," she greeted, her voice laced with a hint of amusement.

I looked at her and thought. Hold on a second, I will take everything back I said about her. Since she is here, she'll be perfect to entertain me for a little while because she is strong. Let's push her buttons, shall we?

A retort rose to my lips, fueled by memories of our previous clash. "Oh, isn't that the little mophead I destroyed last time," I quipped, unable to resist the urge to provoke.

Her reaction was immediate, a flash of indignation igniting in her eyes as she stomped her foot in frustration.

"Oh yeah? Things will be different this time," she shot back, her determination palpable in the tense atmosphere that surrounded us.

With a mischievous smirk plastered across my face, I decided to ruffle her feathers a bit. "So, spill the beans! How did it feel to taste the ground, where you clearly belong?"

I paused dramatically, then unleashed another wave of sarcasm with an evil grin.

"Oopsie daisy! My bad! You didn't even get a chance to chirp because you were too busy kissing the floor! Hope I didn't bruise your delicate ego too much, sweetie!"

In a fit of anger, she snapped, "Listen here, buster! It's time for you to savor the exquisite taste of losing!" And hey, are those black clothes a fashion statement or are you just mourning the loss of your dignity?

As the adrenaline surged through my veins, I turned back to face K, Rachel, and Sho, steeling myself to fight her. But before I could even fully pivot, a sharp kick connected with the back of my head, sending me sprawling to the ground.

This woman, sneaking up on me from behind - where are her manners? I hate sneaky attacks.

Instinct kicked in, and I rolled, scrambling to regain my footing as quickly as possible. With a swift motion, she charged toward me, her fist aimed straight at my face.

Reacting on pure instinct, I blocked her jab with my left arm, feeling the impact reverberate through my bones. In that split-second opening, I unleashed a powerful right punch, connecting solidly with her face. The force of the blow sent her crashing to the ground, a shocked expression etched across her features.

As I caught my breath, I wasted no time instructing K to secure her with ropes from his bag, enlisting Sho's help in the process. With efficiency born of necessity, they bound her hands and legs tightly while Rachel searched her pockets, retrieving her phone.

Turning to K, I urged him to hack into her phone discreetly, knowing that it could hold crucial information. With focused determination, K began his work, his fingers flying over the screen with practiced precision.

Meanwhile, I seized a water bottle from Shoyo's bag and, with a sense of grim satisfaction, splashed its contents onto the girl's face.

It was only a matter of time before she regained consciousness, her eyes fluttering open to meet mine with a mixture of confusion and defiance.

"Why am I tied? Let me go," she demanded, struggling against the ropes that bound her.

I knelt beside her, meeting her gaze with a steely resolve softened by a hint of empathy. "I have a few questions," I replied calmly. "Answer them truthfully, and I'll consider letting you go."

Even as the ropes held her firmly in place, Claire's defiance remained palpable, her futile attempts at freedom met with a firm admonishment from me. "It's pointless," I said, my voice tinged with a hint of exasperation.

She scoffed, her gaze defiant. "Do whatever you want to me, jackass. I'm not going to tell you anything."

As if on cue, Kevin strolled over with a smirk, brandishing her phone triumphantly. "Her name is Claire Collins," he announced, relishing in the revelation. "She's in high school, just like us."

Claire's eyes widened in disbelief as she recognized her own device in K's grasp. "Wait, that's my phone! Give it back!" she exclaimed, a note of panic creeping into her voice.

Undeterred, K pressed on. "I dug through her phone thoroughly. Turns out, she's working for a detective agency called 'Vortex Vanguard'. She's a member of their ranks." His words hung heavy in the air, punctuated by the weight of the newfound revelation.

I turned my gaze towards Claire, studying her intently. "So, you're a detective," I remarked, a hint of admiration laced with skepticism coloring my tone. "I must say, you seem to be lacking in quite a few departments."

Claire's retort was sharp, her words cutting through the tension like a knife. "Shut up, Donkey-face," she shot back, her bravado masking a hint of vulnerability.

I couldn't help but smirk in response, a flicker of amusement dancing in my eyes. "Only another donkey recognizes another donkey, do you get it blonde donkey?" I quipped, the playful banter serving as a brief respite from the intensity of the situation.

Claire's anger burned bright, her flushed face a testament to her frustration as she continued to demand release. But my resolve remained steadfast; I needed answers, and I wasn't about to let her go until I got them. Despite my persistent questioning, she staunchly refused to divulge any information, her defiance only fueling my determination.

Amidst the tense atmosphere, K, munching on a bag of chips, finally reached his limit. "Jeez, this girl is crazy," he interjected, his patience wearing thin.

"Just tell us already. It's not like we're asking for your personal information. I want to go home and relax, maybe chill while watching Netflix."

Shoyo, his own hunger gnawing at him, chimed in, snagging a chip from K's stash. "Yeah, I want to go home too and make some toast. I'm starving," he added, echoing K's sentiment.

Claire's retort was sharp, her insults cutting deep. "Shut up, human tangerine and beanpole," she spat, her defiance unyielding. "I'm not going to talk."

Shoyo, with a fiery passion in his eyes, bellowed, "Hey, who the hell are you calling a human tangerine, huh? Mustard head!"

Seeing the situation escalate, I swiftly intervened, halting Shoyo in his tracks. However, his indignation only grew, and he proceeded to pout in a comically exaggerated manner, his expression a mix of frustration and childish defiance.

As the stalemate persisted, I racked my brain for a solution, glancing at K for inspiration. A mischievous glint danced in his eyes as he smirked at me, a silent question passing between us.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" he teased, a hint of anticipation lacing his words.

What the hell is he saying? I shook my head, "Absolutely not. We'll never think the same," I countered, before refocusing on the task at hand. "So, anyway, what were you thinking?"

K's response was cryptic, leaving the suggestion hanging in the air as Claire defiantly braced herself for whatever might come next. "If you're going to strip me naked and torture me, go on. I'm not afraid at all," she declared, her bravado masking a hint of unease.

"We have no intention of doing that," I reassured her, my tone serious. But then, a mischievous idea bubbled to the surface, a smirk creeping onto my lips as I met Claire's gaze head-on.

"But, I have alternative methods as well," I teased, a playful glint in my eyes causing her to visibly pale, a flicker of uncertainty crossing her features.

K suggested that we should insult and trash talk her in order to provoke a response, but I disagreed, believing that this approach would not be effective.

"I think I have a better idea," I countered, turning to Rachel and gesturing for her to place her bag on the ground and join me. Reluctantly, Rachel complied, her hesitation palpable as she approached.

With a determined glint in my eye, I instructed Rachel to tickle Claire until she spoke. Rachel's cheeks flushed with embarrassment, but I urged her on, knowing that desperate times called for unconventional measures.

After that, I approached K and whispered in his ear; he responded by smirking and nodding in agreement.

I then went to where Claire was lyong and held her shoulders firmly, so she could stay still, as Rachel began to tickle her mercilessly. Claire's laughter filled the air, echoing off the walls as she squirmed and writhed in a futile attempt to escape the onslaught. Tears of laughter streamed down her face, her protests drowned out by the sheer force of her mirth.

After what felt like an eternity, we relented, allowing Claire a moment to catch her breath amidst her laughter-induced haze. But before we could delve further, K intervened, producing a gun with a chilling click as he pressed it against Claire's forehead, his voice cold and menacing.

"Tell me what the hell you're after, or I'll kill you right now," he threatened, the gravity of the situation hanging heavy in the air.

My instincts screamed for me to intervene, to stop K before things escalated further, because this wasn't the task I had instructed him to carry out, but Shoyo's calm reassurance stayed my hand, his silent assurance giving me pause.

Fearing for her life, Claire spilled the truth, her voice trembling with fear as she pointed her head towards me. "I was ordered to capture this guy," she confessed, desperation evident in her tone. "We needed to track Elizabeth, and I had information that he was close to her. My mission was to capture him and gather as much information as possible about Elizabeth."

Kevin withdrew the gun from her forehead and winked. I nodded in response.

Shock rippled through me at her revelation. "Well, thanks for telling me," I managed to say, a mix of disbelief and understanding coloring my words. "But you know, I would have gladly told you if you had just asked me about Elizabeth."

Her eyes widened in disbelief, a flicker of realization crossing her features before she composed herself. I could sense her skepticism as she raised an eyebrow, her gaze piercing through me. "You sure about that? I get a feeling that you're lying."

Without missing a beat, I motioned to K, silently instructing him to save my number in Claire's phone. "If you have a team leader or commander or whatever that person is," I said evenly, masking the storm of emotions brewing within me, "tell them that I will meet them tomorrow. I want to make a deal with them."

Claire's hesitation was palpable, but she nodded reluctantly. I free her from ropes and returned her phone, watching as she slipped it into her pocket with a smirk. Before I could react, her fist connected with my stomach with surprising force, sending me crashing to my knees, gasping for breath. "Do you really think I'll listen to you, stupid head?" she taunted, before darting away into the shadows.

As I acted, struggling to regain my composure, a smirk tugged at the corners of my lips. Despite the pain radiating through my body, a sense of satisfaction washed over me. It had gone exactly as I planned.

Kevin exclaimed, "Woah, dude! How did you predict her reaction so accurately? It played out exactly as you said!"

I smiled and replied, "Well, considering her rather immature behavior, I figured this tactic would be the most effective in luring her into our trap."

Glancing at K with a satisfied smirk, I inquired, "And how's our tracking device holding up?"

Kevin returned the smirk, brandishing his phone proudly. "It's functioning flawlessly. Soon enough, we'll pinpoint the location of her headquarters."

I am pleased that everything unfolded precisely as I had envisioned. Although it was a risky move, I couldn't pass up this opportunity. I have a comprehensive plan to expose Elizabeth and bring her down. I firmly believe that if this plan succeeds, everyone will be secure, liberated from Elizabeth's influence, and Alice and I can finally be together.

I get that one move was super risky and could have totally backfired.

However, I am willing to embrace failure as a natural part of life; everyone experiences setbacks, including myself. What I cannot tolerate is the idea of not even attempting something. I can accept failure; everyone fails at something, even myself. However, I cannot accept the idea of not trying.

Kevin smirked, "So, tell me your ultimate plan! I want to hear it."

I replied, "Well, we can discuss it later."

As a smile adorned my face, I continued, "Well, guys, let's—" Abruptly, my head began to spin, and a wave of dizziness engulfed me. Panic set in as I struggled to maintain my balance, but my efforts proved futile. Faint voices echoed around me, their words muffled and incomprehensible. With each passing moment, my senses grew dimmer until finally, I succumbed to the overwhelming sensation, collapsing onto the floor in a state of disorientation.
