It's been a week now, Avni and Neil's life has returned to normal routine, Neil has continued going to his office
But Avni is not going with him due to which Neil is a bit upset with her decision and he is even more upset that she is not taking his upset seriously.
Every day, he tries to convince her in every possible way that if she wants to give time to family she can give time to them even after returning from office, but Avni doesn't listen to him.
And these days he is really getting annoyed with her changes. She has become like a typical wife who worries for everyone all the time except him.
He has to request her for her time but she is busy with the family and he doesn't understand how this girl stays busy, there is no work to do at home, yet he doesn't understand where she remains busy.
He had never seen this side of her.
She has even started doing puja with Bebe.
He still remembers what she did last week, on Tuesday
Flashback
That day, After coming back from office, Neil tries to be romantic with her at night forgetting his sadness towards her
Both of them lie on the bed and he holds her cozily from behind which makes Avni a little nervous and without wasting any time Neil squeezes her breast along with pinching her nipple with his gentle hands due to which a soft moan comes out of her mouth but then Avni immediately pushes him back
" What happened ?" He asked after sitting on the bed
" Neil, I'm sorry but not today "
" Why, please jaan, let me love you, I'm craving you." She blushes at his words but then composes herself
" No Neil, today I am doing vrat and all this is not allowed during vrat ( fasting )." He gets shocked, she is fasting and he did not know and now he understood why she was sitting with everyone for dinner, but was eating fruits instead of normal food.
He thought she just wanted to eat something healthy but there was this reason behind it.
" vrat ? but for what? Aaj toh karvachauth bhi nahi hai..." he asks
" Neil aaj Tuesday hai, Tuesday ka vrat rakha hai maine." She says
" what ? But why?" He asks
" you know na, I went to the temple with Bebe the day before yesterday. There, an aunty told me that we should observe this fast as it will ensure happiness in our home." He looks at her at her words
" Jaan, you don't need to do all this...we are all already happy." He says and tries to hold her hand but she takes her hand back.
" No Neil let me do it, it's a good feeling." He looks at her taking a deep breath.
" Hmm, This means that now every Tuesday I will not be able to touch you, we will not have se........." He does not complete his words as Avni puts her hand on his mouth
" Chhiii Neilu ye sab gandi gandi baat mat karo...aaj mera vrat hai." He gets irritated by her words and removes her hand from his mouth sighing.
" Okay, then good night." Saying this he lies down on the other side of the bed and hides his face in the pillow, Seeing this Avni gets a little shocked thinking that he felt bad
" Neil we can cuddle." She says looking at his back. Although even his cuddle will not have a good effect on her body, but still she says so that he don't sleep with bad mood.
" No thanks, That would also be a sin, you should continue doing all this." He says in irritation
And Avni feels bad that he is upset but what can she do, she just heard about this fast from that lady and felt like doing and then after asking the whole procedure from Bebe, she kept the fast.
And that night he really is unable to sleep the whole night due to not being able to touch her even though he is close to her, but Avni falls asleep early due to the fatigue of fasting.
Flashback end.
Today, Neil is sitting in his cabin...and is a little sad thinking about Avni's changed behaviour.
He doesn't understand how to make her his old Avni.
He had no idea that after turning from girlfriend to wife, there would be so much change in her.
Raj comes to his cabin for some work and as Avni is not there, today again he enters without knocking.
But as soon as he comes in he sees Neil lost in thoughts, he sits in front of him on the chair in front of his desk and calls out his name
" Neill " On hearing Raj's voice he comes out of his thoughts and looks at him
" Is everything okay?" Raj asks him to which he looks at him.
Now how can he tell him about his sister's antics.
"Yes, everything is fine." Neil replies
" Well, your face is saying the opposite. You are sad...tell me what happened?" Raj asks
" ab main tujh se teri behan ki buraaiyan nahi kar sakta..." Neil says this when Raj asks again, hearing which a smile comes on Raj's face.
" Behan ki burai nahi kar sakta par Agar tu paresaan hai toh tu mujhe kaaran btaa sakta hai....pehle hum dost hai." On his words he sees him.
" hmm, So listen, your sister has become a typical woman..." Neil says.
" What ?" Raj asks confused.
" yes, nowadays I am not able to understand her, what she does these days, First she refused to come to the office and now she is busy at home all day, doing this and that work all day long...and she doesn't have any time for me in her entire day...." Raj hears him and he continued
" kal Sunday tha toh bhi madam pta nahi kahan busy thi....itna busy toh main office me nahi rehta jitna busy wo ghar par rehti hai....." Neil says.
And At his frustrated words, Raj looks at him and after a pause, he speaks
" Hmm, So Neil, it's okay na, if she wants to take a break for a few more days, she has a whole life left for office work." Neil looks at him at his words.
" Toh yehaan office mein, main use kaam karwaane thode laana chahta hu...main toh bas Uske saath...." Neil is unable to speak further when Raj, understanding his one track mind, silences him.
" Bas kar, wo meri behan hai." He sighs at his words
" huh, Achha ek baat btaa..." Neil says
" Kya puchh " Raj says
" Kya teri girlfriend bhi biwi banne ke baad badal gyi thi...." on his words Raj looks at him confused
" Kya matalb ?" Raj asks
" Mtlab Simran bhi teri koi baat nahi maanti....tujhe time nahi deti...kya wo bhi biwi banne ke baad badal gyi thi....?
kyonki meri girlfriend jo ab meri biwi hai, wo meri ek baat nahi maan rahi, kuch bhi kaho serious nahi leti mujhe......" He smiles, understanding the full meaning of his words.
" Tujhe kya lagta hai.... jab wo ( Simran ) sabke saamne mujh se itna ladti hai toh akele mein toh wo mera kya hi haal karti hogi, yes thodi toh change ho gyi hai...." Hearing his words, Shameless Neil smirks
" Akele me ladai thode karte hoge dono, Ansh ke bhai behan laane ki planning karte honge." His words bring a red hue to Raj's face.
" Thodi Sharm kar le...behan hai wo teri." Raj says this to him.
" Oh please ab humara rishta hi aisa ho gya hai toh mjaak karne kahan jaun, aur wo behan hai, tu toh dost hai....tujh se main ye sab bol hi sakta hu." Raj smiles at his words. Yes, this is also true,
Now their relationship is such that one has to think once before saying anything, but in friendship, how much should both of them think before speaking?
So this much of fun and talk is okay now.
" Neil, tu tension mat le...avi ko waqt de....She will become normal, everything is new for her right now, maybe she is trying to become a perfect bahu but she doesn't know that she doesn't need to do all this....but still if it makes her feel good then let her do it...She will become normal in a few days." Raj explains to her, to which Neil sighs.
" I hope so, because the kind of sanskaari bahu she is becoming is blowing my mind." Raj chuckle at his words, to which Neil also smiles, remembering his wife's antics.
In the evening, Neil comes home from office and goes straight to his room. But as soon as he enters the room, he sees his wife sitting on the bed reading a book.
" No, I will not melt today, she is not taking my anger seriously but this is also right, no matter what she does I am not getting angry...But still today I will make her run after me, I will show her serious anger and if I get angry again after telling her, then she will not take it seriously again....ek kaam karta hu, bilkul baat hi nahi karunga, thoda muskil kaam toh hai par Neil Khanna tujhe ye karna padega."
Thinking all this, Neil comes inside the room without saying anything and sits straight on the couch to take off his shoes but before he does this, his wife notices him
" Neilll " At his voice he looks at her who closes her book and comes down from the bed towards him
" Aap aaye aur mujhe awaz tak nahi lgaayi." She complains about his silent behavior as he always hugs her after returning from office.
" You were busy in reading so I did not disturb you." He says without looking at her while taking off his shoes, on which she finds his mood off, Which he wants her to notice.
" Kya hua, aap theek ho " She says sitting beside him.
" Haan main theek hu." Saying this, he is about to leave to freshen up, but she holds his hand and stops him, She comes in front of him and hugs him without saying anything to which he holds her back.
" I missed you." She says.
" I don't think so. If you missed me, you could have come to the office with me." He says, to which she somehow understands why his mood is off again.
She moves away from him and looks at him.
" Neil, main.....
" Please Avni I am not in the mood for any argument right now." Saying this he goes straight to the washroom slightly smirking on which Avni looks at him sadly
After a while, he comes into the room after freshening up, wearing a T-shirt and trousers and sits straight on the bed.
Avni is in the room and pouts seeing him ignoring her...she comes to the bed and sits in front of him
" Neil, aap mujh se gussa ho ? Maine kaha toh from the next week i will accompany you to the office." He doesn't say anything on hearing her words but opens his laptop and starts pretending to do some work.
And seeing him like this she thinks something
" You wait, I will make a nice cup of coffee for you, your mood will improve."
" My mood can only be fixed by you, not by coffee." He thinks looking at his laptop
And saying this, she gets up from the bed and is about to leave the room, but Neil stops her.
" I don't want coffee, you don't need to do all this for me, You do one thing...go to mom, watch the serial with her which you are doing these days." He says that because one day when he asked her what she does at home all day, she said that she sits with Shweta and watches her favourite serial with her.
" Neil, please don't taunt me like that." He glares at her at her words and walks out of the room without saying anything further, which shocks Avni.
" Is he really angry today?" He never behaves like this with her,.Has she broken the limits of his patience that he has become angry? She thinks.
And then with this, Neil ignores her the whole evening, Avni keeps running after him with one excuse or the other but he doesn't melt nor does he talk to her, instead he suppresses his laughter and enjoys her antics.
Even at the dinner table, she tries to talk to him on the pretext of serving him food but Neil serves himself, leaving her sad.
In the room
They both sit on the bed after changing, and now Neil is not able to act angry with her anymore, Okay, he teased her all evening and made her follow him, now he will stop his drama.
" Good night jaan." Avni smiles looking at him when he tells her this with a smile.
" Aapka mood sahi ho gya...?" she asks cheerfully, to which he smiles.
" Tumse naraz reh sakta hu ?" He says to which she smiles and throws herself into his arms hugging him.
" I love you Neilu." she says to which he kisses her hair.
"Okay, let's sleep now." Saying this, he lies down with her, holding her in his arms and hugging her from behind.
But in a few moments Avni feels that Neil is rubbing his leg on her leg by entangling their legs together and his lips are on her neck: Her heart starts to beat faster, and she closes her eyes with a deep sigh when she feels his hand going under the quilt to her lower part. She holds his hand
" Neilll " she says in her low voice
" Hmmm...." He says, rubbing his lips against her neck.
" It's Monday today," she reminds him.
" I know, but your vrat will start tomorrow...the rule of not touching you will start tomorrow. Today I can love you." Saying this he sucks her neck to which she closes her eyes
" Neil, even a day before the fast, we have to observe celibacy." Neil is shocked to hear this and Avni gets out of his arms and sits in front of him
" Please just cuddle me, not all this." She says to which Neil also gets up and sits in front of her and he doesn't understand what to say to her now...This means that now he cannot touch her for two days in a week.
" Avni, why don't you do one thing, keep a fast for the remaining 5 days too..." he says on which she sees him
" No, I do one thing....main tumhe pahaado me chhodkar aata hu...tum aaram se wahaan apni tapasya kar lena." He says this to which Avni looks at him poutingly...why is he saying this, it's just a matter of two days.
" Neill aap....
" No Avni, someone should learn from you how to spoil a mood, I don't have any problem with your pujas and fasts but I am having a problem with the kind of person you are becoming these days...." he says on which she sees him silently
" And now if you don't really talk to me it will be better for both of us, Because I don't want to fight with you but you are not leaving me any choice." He says his whole thing clearly to which she looks at him.
He sees her after saying all that and then turns his face away from her and lies down, he tried his best not to get angry with her, He even stopped pretending to be angry in the end, but now he is really angry at her antics.
And now he is not angry because he cannot touch her, but is she old enough to do all this? If this is continued, In a few days she will become a sadhu baba.
Avni is still looking at him silently who is sleeping with his face turned away from her. She doesn't understand what she said or did that made him angry, now if all this is not allowed during the fast then what is her fault in this. She just said him the rule of fast.
She also lies down on the bed and closes her eyes and does not know when she falls asleep.

Now people please don't bash Avni for today's chapter...her husband's mood swings will continue throughout her life but it is more important to get enough sleep...So Avni did not do anything wrong by not pacify him and completing her sleep.
