Taehyung was also home at that time, though you didn't notice him but he was aware of your presence and was a witness of your uncontrollable smile since you step inside the apartment.
Being definite that what could it be he make his way towards the kitchen to playfully interrogate you.

Hearing taehyung's voice you came out of your thoughts and notice him. A playful smirk was plastered on his lips.
"What happened? What is the cause of this happiness?"
Taehyung asked crossing his arms on his chest to which you giggle and said.
"Try to guess."
He stroke his chin trying to think and said.
"You are not a type of girl who will be impressed by a boy, a romantic date or any romantic related thing."
You playfully roll your eyes and said.
"Ha ha very funny."
Taehyung chuckle and said.
"Being a workaholic it must be related to your work. Right."
You again roll your eyes and nodded while humming in response.
"Wait!! That project.... Did it got approved?"
Taehyung asked shocked.
"Yup! The project got approved, we finally signed the deal with that American company. (squealing) I m so excited."
Taehyung chuckle at your excitement and hug you.
"I knew it. You can definitely do it. Congrats."
You reply smiling.
"Thanks."
Taehyung broke the hug and asked.
"Did you tell anyone yet?"
You nodded and said.
"I told mom and she was also so happy. She said not to tell dad right now. Tomorrow she will be inviting us to dinner, then I'll tell dad."
"Good. Congrats really. You proved yourself once again."

He just came out of bathroom after taking a shower and changing into pyjamas. You shrugged your shoulders still looking outside and said.
"Nothing. Just standing."
Taehyung came and stand beside you. You took a glance at him and then again started looking forward.
A few moments passed by, taehyung suddenly held your chin while teasingly saying.
"Awww. Our yn-ie is getting emotional."
You yank his hand away and said.
"Shut up taehyung."
It wasn't wrong though. You were feeling a little emotional and your eyes were glistening a little but you don't want to accept it.
Taehyung giggle and back hug you while saying.
"It's okay to sometimes cry. It was a really big achievement for you. Anyone can feal emotional at moments like this."
You reply while looking forward.
"I m not the weak ones."
Taehyung said softly.
"Crying isn't a sign of weakness. Anyways let's not talk about this."
You hum and you both stood there for a few moments, him back hugging you and swinging lightly gazing at the city view in a calm and peaceful silence.

Your dad chuckle and started doing something on his phone when your's and taehyung's phone buzzed, he signaled you and taehyung to check your phones as he send you something and said.
"I knew how hard you were working for the company so i was thinking of sending you guys at a vacation for a little refreshment and a break from your busy life. I didn't know how much time your project was gonna take so i arrange everything about the trip except for the dates. So now i finalized the dates and bought the tickets also and i forward it to you. Have a nice and refreshing trip."
You smile and said.
"Dad..... you don't have to do that much. What will happen to the company when I'll be gone. Like leaving the company the next day i sign the deal."
Your dad chuckle and before he could say anything taehyung said happily and little excited.
"Oh we definitely needed a break. Especially you yn. And you should never say no to someone's gift. It's a way of showing love."
You shake your head and then taehyung's dad said.
"I can handle both of the companies for a few days. You guys don't have to worry."
Your dad said.
"Ok then it's final. You guys are going to a vacation."
You chuckle and nodded.

As the night deepens everyone left for their homes.
You and taehyung was also leaving when you asked him to wait a little. You want to meet dad before you leave.
You saw your dad sitting and staring at the photo frame of yours, when you were given certificate for best performance in the school year.
You smile and went towards him, kneeling in front of him and resting your head on his lap.
He smile and started gently caressing your hairs.
"Are you happy dad?"
"Of course i am dear. When wasn't i happy by you?"
You smile and said.
"I had caused trouble to the company back then but now i had compensated for that loss."
He make you face himself, cupping your face, he said softly.
"It was never your fault dear. Stop blaming yourself. And it didn't matter to me whether the company succeed or not, i just want to see you happy and stepping forward in your life. And you just completed both of my wishes. You are stepping ahead to your future, working hard and now also have taehyung by your side all the time."
You smile but deep down felt a little hurt thinking about yours and taehyung's relationship to be a false one.
He then said.
"Don't need to stuck in the past. Move on. You now will have your own family. Be happy and give time to them."
You slightly nodded.

The reason everyone supported you so much is because of the tough time you've been gone through.
When your dad used to run the company, he had a terrible accident and ended up in a coma for several weeks. You being young and inexperienced at the time still stepped up to manage the family business.
Unfortunately, some rival companies took advantage of your lack of knowledge and tricked the company's workers into sharing confidential information. This led to the company almost going bankrupt.
Even after your dad woke up from the coma, he couldn't walk again and had to use a wheelchair for the rest of his life.
Taehyung's dad, a close family friend, came to help out and did whatever was in his power to save the company but it didn't stopped company from the tragic downfall.
