As I sat on the bus, the warm breeze from the open window caressed my face, carrying with it the tantalizing scent of the ocean. The journey to Miami had been long and arduous, involving multiple buses and trains, but the fatigue that threatened to consume me was no match for the excitement pulsating through my veins.

As the sun began its descent, casting a golden glow over the city, I checked my watch and realized it was already 9 o'clock at night. The towering skyscrapers of Miami illuminated the night sky, their dazzling lights creating a mesmerizing spectacle. In stark contrast to my hometown, where I had spent most of my life, these colossal structures seemed to touch the heavens, their grandeur leaving me in awe.

Finally, the bus pulled into the station, and I eagerly disembarked, my weariness momentarily forgotten. Determined to continue my adventure, I walked briskly towards the nearest taxi stand. Hailing a cab, I informed the driver of my destination - the docks. However, knowing that it was likely closed at this hour, I concocted a small white lie, claiming that I lived nearby and was meeting friends there. The driver, seemingly convinced, nodded and began the journey.

As the taxi sped through the vibrant streets of Miami, the city transformed before my eyes. The night had cast its enchanting spell, and the cityscape took on a whole new allure. Neon lights illuminated the bustling streets, casting a colorful glow on the faces of the people passing by. The rhythmic beats of music emanated from lively bars and clubs, creating an intoxicating atmosphere that pulsed with energy.

After what felt like a whirlwind of excitement, the taxi came to a halt at the docks. I thanked the driver and paid him, stepping out into the cool night air. The docks, usually a hub of activity during the day, now lay quiet and serene under the moonlit sky. The gentle lapping of the waves against the docked boats provided a soothing soundtrack, as if nature itself had joined in the symphony of the night.

Taking a moment to soak in the tranquility, I marveled at the vast expanse of the ocean stretching out before me. The moon's reflection danced upon the water's surface, creating a shimmering pathway that seemed to lead to endless possibilities.

Alright, enough of that. Let's get back to the mission.

It was a truly enchanting night, with the stars twinkling brightly in the vast expanse of the sky. I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe as I looked around while walking, only to find that I was completely alone. Not even a single police officer could be seen, which struck me as incredibly odd. Despite the eerie silence, I continued walking, my curiosity getting the better of me.

As I kept walking, I suddenly stopped in my tracks. A wave of dizziness washed over me, causing me to feel disoriented and unsteady on my feet. The pain was intense, and I struggled to maintain my balance. However, after a few minutes, the sensation subsided, and I was able to breathe a sigh of relief. I couldn't help but wonder what had caused such a strange and unsettling experience. What on earth just happened? It felt as though my head was on the verge of exploding.

Suddenly, I heard faint noises emanating from my left side. Intrigued, I turned my head towards the source of the sound, only to discover a sturdy fence separating me from a collection of shipments. The voices grew louder, and I strained my ears to make out the words being exchanged. It was evident that there were people present, hidden behind the fence.

Examining the fence, I found it to be unremarkable and seemingly easy to climb. Without hesitation, I made the impulsive decision to jump and scale the fence, determined to uncover the source of the mysterious noises. With a surge of adrenaline, I successfully landed on the other side and continued my journey, following the weird sounds.

After walking for what felt like an eternity, the noises abruptly ceased, leaving me in an unsettling silence. It was then that I noticed a towering figure approaching me. Standing at an intimidating height of six feet, the man exuded an air of authority. As he drew nearer, he spoke with a commanding tone, "You are on time. Follow me."

Must be someone who is working with Doctor, I nodded in agreement, silently acknowledging my willingness to follow him. As we ventured further, my eyes widened in astonishment as I beheld the sight of nine more individuals, all dressed in black attire. It became apparent that the man I had followed was not alone, but rather part of a larger group.

Jeez, just look at these guys. They seriously look like they look like they are recruiting people for jail or something.

I stood there, feeling a mix of uncertainty and anticipation, as one of the men approached me, his voice dripping with sarcasm, "Well, well, what do we have here? Are you serious, Robert? This kid is our last member?"

The man who I followed, I guess he must be Robert.

Robert confidently declared, "Yes, this kid is our last member." However, as I approached, I couldn't help but notice the disdainful look in his eyes, as if I were some kind of germ or bacteria. He scanned my appearance from head to toe, making me feel uneasy.

Like seriously, this dude was eyeballing me like I was a walking petri dish, giving me the full-on inspection from head to toe. I swear, I must have looked like the latest strain of fashion flu or something to him.

As I glanced to my right, I couldn't believe my eyes - there were 11 police officers sprawled out on the ground. No wonder I hadn't seen any cops patrolling around there, those guys had taken them out.

Finally, Robert broke the silence and commanded everyone's attention. "Okay, guys, since we're all here, let's begin the mission. Our objective is to infiltrate the Blood Moon Grove forest and locate an abandoned lab. We need to retrieve some crucial chemicals from there. I'll provide each of you with sample photos."

Robert distributed the photos of the chemicals, and I received mine. My task was to find the blue chemical, which was located in room R-31. I carefully tucked the photo into my pocket, feeling a little nervous.

With a commanding tone, Robert instructed us to follow him. We obediently trailed behind him, effortlessly leaping over fences as we made our way towards our destination. As we approached, my eyes widened at the sight of three sleek black Honda Accords parked nearby without their number plate that was odd. Everyone quickly hopped into their respective vehicles, and I found myself in the last one. I settled into the back row, feeling a surge of anticipation coursing through my veins.

Robert took his place in the driver's seat, and with a confident rev of the engine, we set off on our mission.

After driving for a few minutes, Robert turned to me and spoke, "I am Robert, nice to meet you."

I calmly replied, "I'm Alvin, it's nice to meet you too."

Robert then mentioned, "I've heard a lot about you from Elizabeth."

My eyes widened with surprise, and I asked, "Oh, really?"

He nodded and continued, "She told me that you're quite strong and you were able to take down her bodyguards in just a few minutes."

I couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed. "Yeah, I'm sorry about that," I said, looking down.

Robert leaned back in his seat and said, "So, any questions?"

I quickly responded, "Yeah, since we're going into the woods, what kind of threats could possibly be there?"

With a serious expression, Robert replied, "Bears or some wild animals, and there might be some officers and spies too, since they know we're coming. We have to be careful."

I don't get it, like if they already know we're coming, why don't we just go on a different day? It seems pretty straightforward to me. I nodded, taking in the information, and said, "Alright."

Then, Robert added, "I know you're strong, but be careful. Rumor has it that there are a few Bigfoots out there too."

Robert looked at me, seemingly surprised, and asked, "Aren't you scared?"

Maintaining my composure, I calmly replied, "Well, I'll be afraid when I see it with my own eyes. I'll figure out the other things later."

Robert smiled "Okay." He kept his eyes on the road and kept driving.

I'd probably ask him for fashion advice because those hairy legs are definitely in style this season!

Okay that was just a joke, now I am serious. If I come across a big foot there, I'm just gonna bolt. I mean, I don't give a damn if these guys make it out alive or not. I'm outta there!

He nodded, As we continued our journey, Robert's nod of approval reassured me that we were on the right path. The car steadily approached the outskirts of the woods, and my eyes were immediately drawn to a weathered sign that read 'Blood Moon Grove Forest.' Its ominous presence sent a shiver down my spine, but I couldn't help but feel a strange curiosity pulling me towards it.

Robert drove through the forest, and I peered out of the window, the night sky unveiled its breathtaking beauty. Countless stars twinkled above, casting a mystical glow upon the surroundings. I couldn't tear my gaze away from the celestial display, momentarily forgetting the purpose of our mission.

Suddenly, Robert brought the car to a halt, breaking the enchanting spell the stars had cast upon me. Stepping out of the vehicle, I noticed two other cars had arrived, their occupants emerging as well. The sight of the abandoned lab before us was awe-inspiring, resembling more of a grand castle than a mere scientific facility. It's towering structure loomed over me, shrouded in an air of mystery and secrecy.

Is this place supposed to be a lab or what? 'Cause honestly, it looks more like a freakin' castle to me, it's all old and busted up.

Robert began briefing us on the mission, handing out torches, knives, and pistols. He emphasized the importance of returning to this very spot after retrieving the necessary chemicals from the lab. It was clear that this mission held great significance.

Robert also handed me a torch, a knife, and a pistol. My eyes widened in disbelief and apprehension. I hesitated at the sight of the weapons, not wanting to harm anyone, but Robert insisted that it was necessary for our safety and he also told me that we might encounter spies, officers, or even elusive creatures like Bigfoot. He stressed the necessity of being prepared for any potential threats. Reluctantly, I accepted the gun and knife, tucking them away in my bag.

"We are here," Robert declared, his tone grave. "I am saying this again our job is to go inside that abandoned lab and bring back the chemicals. But be warned, there are rumors of wild animals and even sightings of big foots in this area. So, be careful. And remember, if you die, you will be responsible for it."

As we made our way towards the front door of the lab, Robert pulled me aside. "Alvin," he said, his voice low and urgent, "I need you to go in through the backdoor. It will be easier for you to reach room R-31. Stay safe, alright?"

So, for some reason, I had this gut feeling that I shouldn't trust this guy, but I decided to go ahead and walk into whatever trap he had set. I mean, I'm used to walking alone, so I figured I could handle whatever came my way.

I resolved to proceed, my solitary nature proving advantageous in such situations. As I made my way around the perimeter of the laboratory, the sounds of the wind rustling through the leaves and the echo of my own footsteps filled the air.

Approaching the back door of the lab, I noticed its dilapidated state, covered in layers of rust and barely holding it together. With caution, I attempted to open it gently, hoping to avoid any unnecessary injury. However, my efforts were in vain, as the door's jagged edge sliced into my hand, causing a small but painful cut. Frustration welled up within me, and without a second thought, I unleashed a swift kick, sending the door flying open.

I reached into my bag and retrieved a flashlight. With a quick flick of the switch, the beam of light illuminated the surroundings, allowing me to survey my surroundings.

As I stepped inside, a heavy silence enveloped the room. Broken glass littered the floor, and swarms of flies buzzed lazily through the air. The putrid stench that permeated the space assaulted my senses, causing me to wrinkle my nose in disgust. Undeterred, I pressed on, my flashlight casting eerie shadows on the decaying walls.

What the hell, man? What was this place even used for? That doctor must have been up to some crazy experiments.

Blood drops were scattered everywhere, staining the ground with their ominous presence. The air was heavy with the stench of decay as I noticed the lifeless bodies of rotten animals strewn about, their once vibrant forms now reduced to grotesque remnants. Adding to the macabre scene, rats scurried about, claiming the area as their own, their beady eyes glinting with a feral hunger.

As I continued walking, my eyes remained fixated on the room numbers. After a half-hour of searching, I finally laid my eyes upon the sign that read "Room R-31." With a sense of relief, I stepped into the room, only to find that there was no door.

I started walking in, with each step, the broken glass beneath my feet echoed through the empty room, a haunting reminder of the chaos that had once consumed this space. The shattered flasks and discarded equipment painted a picture of a hasty departure, leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions. Each step I took was accompanied by the unsettling sound of crunching glass beneath my feet.

Amidst the chaos, my attention was drawn to a small box containing a collection of blue chemicals. Instinctively, I deduced that these must be the ones I was searching for. Eagerly, I reached out and took hold of the box. However, in that moment, a faint sound of glass shattering caught my attention.

So, there's someone here, and I can't help but wonder who it could be. It's not someone from my team or an officer, because they didn't take the next step. That leaves me with only one conclusion - it must be a spy.

Carefully, I exited the room and began making my way back. As I walked, the footsteps behind me grew slightly louder, matching my own pace. It was clear that this individual was tailing me, mirroring my every move. In an attempt to catch the person off guard, I decided to create a fake footstep by holding my foot in mid-air without actually touching the ground. Bingo! As expected, a sound echoed through the corridor, prompting me to swiftly turn around and call out, "Okay, I know you're following me. If you're not a coward, show yourself!"

Suddenly, a girl came out from hiding with flowing blonde hair. I pointed my flashlight towards her to get a better lock.

She exuded an air of confidence, effortlessly pulling off her sleek black attire. With a mischievous glint in her eye, she flashed me a small wink. "Hey there, handsome," she said, her voice laced with a hint of admiration. "I must say, I'm quite impressed that you noticed me."

Thar girl's lustrous blonde hair cascaded down her shoulders in a mesmerizing display of golden waves, catching the faint glow of my torchlight. Each strand seemed to possess a radiant vitality, shimmering with a touch of ethereal elegance. As the light danced upon her locks, it revealed a subtle hint of honeyed highlights, adding depth and dimension to her already captivating tresses.

Her ears were adorned with delicate earrings, glimmering softly in the darkness. The intricate design showcased a tasteful blend of sophistication and allure, with tiny gemstones twinkling like stars against the backdrop of her fair complexion. The earrings gracefully framed her face, drawing attention to her captivating features.

Speaking of her face, it was a vision of ethereal beauty. Her skin, porcelain in its flawless complexion, seemed to glow with an otherworldly radiance. A soft, natural blush adorned her cheeks, lending a touch of rosy warmth to her already enchanting countenance. Her eyes, framed by long, fluttering lashes, sparkled with a mischievous glimmer, hinting at a playful spirit within. They were a mesmerizing shade of sapphire blue, captivating and deep, like the depths of an ocean on a moonlit night.

In her black attire, she exuded an air of mystery and sophistication. The sleekness of her clothes accentuated her slender figure, hinting at a gracefulness that seemed to be second nature to her. The contrast between her fair complexion and the darkness of her attire only served to enhance her enigmatic allure, leaving me both intrigued and spellbound.

Her presence was captivating, and I couldn't help but be drawn to her allure. She was undeniably sexy, and for a moment, I allowed myself to be captivated by her charm. But just as quickly as the infatuation had taken hold, reality slapped me hard across the face.

Startled, she flinched and looked at me with concern. "Woah! Dude, what's your deal?" she asked, her voice tinged with confusion.

Holding my stinging cheek, I mustered the courage to respond. "It's nothing," I muttered, my embarrassment evident. "Have a good night, and excuse me." Without waiting for a response, I turned on my heel and began to walk away, hoping to escape from this.

However, the girl wasn't about to let me off the hook so easily. She raised her voice, her frustration evident. "Where the hell do you think you're going?" she called out, her tone laced with irritation.

I stopped in my tracks, feeling a mix of annoyance and guilt. I turned to face her, my eyes meeting hers. "Look," I said, my voice tinged with exasperation. "I don't have time to play with you. I am busy, and I just want to ignore you and pretend that I didn't see you."

She bluntly said, "I want something that's in your bag." Her tone was demanding, leaving no room for negotiation.

I calmly replied, "Oh, do you mean my chips? I have to say no to that, sorry. You won't like sweet chips, and I don't like to share, so forget it."

Clearly frustrated, she snapped back, "Stop trying to act like a fool. You know exactly what I mean."

I sighed, realizing she wasn't going to let this go easily. "If it's about chemicals, you will not get it."

Without warning, she marched towards me with a swift punch. Instinctively, I ducked, narrowly avoiding her blow. But before I could react, she swiftly kicked me in the gut, causing me to fall to the ground, grunting in pain. She wasted no time and quickly straddled me, her hands closing around my throat, cutting off my air supply.

Desperate to defend myself, I managed to summon the strength to punch her in the stomach. The impact forced her to release her grip, allowing me to gasp for air. I scrambled to my feet, taking a few steps back to create some distance between us. She stood there, anger burning in her eyes.

"That was a good move," she seethed, her voice dripping with frustration.

I held up my hands, trying to defuse the situation. "Look, just leave me alone. I'm here to do my job."

She scoffed, a bitter smile playing on her lips. "Well, guess what, genius? I'm here to do my job too."

I shook my head, my voice filled with reluctance. "I don't want to hit or fight a girl."

Her eyes narrowed, and she took a step closer, challenging my attempt at chivalry. "Quit trying to be a gentleman. This is not the time for it."

She charged at me with lightning speed, throwing a flurry of punches and kicks. I barely had time to react as she landed blow after blow, her movements fluid and precise. I tried to dodge and weave, but she was too fast, too skilled.

I managed to block a few of her strikes, but she was relentless, never giving me a moment to catch my breath. I could feel my frustration mounting as I struggled to keep up with her.

Finally, I saw an opening and landed a solid punch to her stomach, followed by a swift kick to her side. She stumbled back, gasping for air, and I took advantage of the moment to slam her into the wall.

She crumpled to the ground, groaning in pain, and I stood over her, panting and victorious. But even as I caught my breath, I knew that I had just faced one of the toughest opponents of my life.

I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart. Suddenly, the sound of approaching footsteps grew louder and faster. As I strained to see through the darkness, a figure emerged. It was Robert, his face filled with urgency.

"RUN!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with urgency. "We need to get out of here before it's too late!"

I nodded, my eyes darting to the blonde girl lying on the ground in pain. "I'm so sorry," I whispered, hoping she could hear me. "Please forgive me."

Without wasting another moment, Robert and I sprinted towards the back door of the lab. Adrenaline surged through my veins as we raced towards our car. We managed to reach it and I quickly hopped into the backseat, while Robert took his place behind the wheel.

As the car roared to life, confusion overwhelmed me. I turned to Robert, my voice filled with concern. "What happened to the others?"

Robert's eyes filled with sadness, and he shook his head. "They didn't make it," he replied, his voice heavy with grief.

As I nodded at his response, my heart sank, and a sense of unease washed over me. Robert continued driving, oblivious to the turmoil brewing within me. Suddenly, a wave of strangeness engulfed me, as if the world around me was shifting and distorting.

Not this again, Why is it happening? My head grew heavy, burdened by an invisible weight that pressed down relentlessly. The once clear vision I possessed began to blur, like a hazy fog descending upon my eyes. Panic gripped my chest, tightening its grip with each passing second. I desperately fought to maintain my composure, to stay still and steady, but my body betrayed me.

Dizziness swirled within me, spinning my senses into a chaotic whirlwind. The room spun, and I clung to the seat, desperately trying to anchor myself amidst the storm raging inside me. But it was futile. I was losing control, slipping further into the abyss of uncertainty.

Through the haze, I strained to hear Robert's voice, calling out to me with concern etched in every syllable. But his words were muffled, drowned out by the deafening silence that enveloped me. I longed to respond, to reassure him that I was alright, but my voice was stolen, swallowed by the void that consumed me.

And then, in an instant, I succumbed to the overwhelming force that had been building within me. My body gave way, collapsing onto the seat, a mere puppet controlled by the merciless strings of my own physical and emotional turmoil. Darkness descended, wrapping its cold embrace around me, as I surrendered to the unknown.
