" Ladies and Gentleman today we shall all be able to witness the greatest duel in history of Delsgade" the announcer excitedly said hyping up the crowd that was gathered to watch the finals of the Sword tournament.
The coliseum which was built to house more than 500 hundred was packed full with visitors. And if that isn't enough this match is now broadcasted for the entire Delsgade to see.
The popularity of this match has reached this absurd degree due to one reason. Anos Voldigod is a half -blood in this final match.
The nobles who had nothing but disdain for him made sure to use their connections to show the world how he is put in his place. And the commoners cheered for him as he just became their idol for being able to win the last matches without even breaking a sweat.
" And now from the left side we have a person who is representing the Demon king academy Anos Voldigod " said the announcer as Anos walked towards the stage.
The commoners began to cheer loudly. Especially the Anos fan club girls who even sang a lowly song. And besides them Isabela and her husband also cheered for their son. Rimuru who had to accompany them today as a bodyguard gave him a peace sign , when anos looked at them.

"Wait, isn't miss Emilia's family name, also Ludewell."one of the students who came to watch the match asked.

Emilia, who heard all of this, couldn't help but smile arrogantly. with her brother here this year's championship would surely belong to the Royals. if he can win it one time he could win it again.
"On my left side we have Anos Voldigoad representing the Demon king academy. He has no record as this will be his first time participating in the tournament. For the sword to be as dangerous as Venuzdonoa it must awaken the power of the law it is given . but don't underestimate just because it isn't awakened. Just having such potential is enough for those god's to go to war for it. as in all of this world's history there have been only two swords that have been awakened. each of them were wielded by the hero and demon king respectively.
and most importantly both of those swords were made by Rimuru herself. and looking at his fathers face it seems this time he was the one doing the heavy work as almost every part of his body is injured.
Rimuru gave Gusta a look and nudged him. he nodded and walked towards Anos and said,
"You know Anos when you told us you were going to participate in the sword tournament me and your mother was so happy. you know for a commoner such as us this is a big deal . So for this occasion I decided to make a magic sword just for you. I also had Rimuru join me since she is more knowledgeable in swords than us. so after 3 days of work we finally made it. a sword that represents our love for you " saying so he handed the sword to Anos.
Anos showed a rare look of astonishment when he held this blade. He could feel it. the passion and dedication his dad used to make this. this sword here embodies his love and pride towards his son
"Go son, show them what you're made of. " at Gusta's words Anos regained his prideful look and said confidently,
"don't worry father i will win this tournament for sure " saying that he walked towards the entrance to finish off his opponent. It looks like it is time for the world to show his powers as he is quite motivated right now.

She wouldn't even be surprised if some guys come and kidnap Gusta to make him tell them how to make such an excellent sword. and if that isn't enough Emilia also seemed to want some revenge for her brother. well she won't be foolish enough to attack Anos's family as it would involve me. so she will do something when we are in class.

descending down RImuru first looked at their situation and found some cuts and burn marks on their uniforms. As for Isebela, she looked mostly unharmed. just scared as she was holding the magic sword close to her chest very tightly.
sighing in relief she approached them and asked for the details. after hearing the details she couldn't facepalm. She underestimated how foolish Emilia could be.
" Whatever, I will clean this up. you guys go home for now. If you are too scared, head to Anos's house for now. I will teleport you all after this is over. " At her words they all nodded and left the park.
Rimuru first created a magic circle to restore this place and used another to make everyone who came here to investigate forget about what they were about till they leave this area. after all this is done she walked towards the place where Anos dragged emilia to.

After a couple of minutes later the isolation spell was lifted revealing Anos and Rimuru. behind them there was a now changed Emilia. her earlier long purple hair is now turned with the edition of her eyes.
"Let's go home , your mother is worried about you"to RImuru's words Anos nodded and teleported away.
After he left Rimur turned to Emilia and said softly, " I hope you repent for what you did emilia. life isn't all about status and blood after all " saying so she also left a crying Emilia.
~at the present ~
"Now from my left we have Lay Grandsley, also a student from the Demon king academy. "the crowd cheered again. Lay also walked towards the stage.
As both of them arrived near their designation spots the referee arrived and said loudly.
"both of you shall start as soon as this coin falls down to ground. remember if your magic sword or the bracelet in your hands are destroyed the other will be declared winner immediately. "
saying so he threw a coin into the air and left immediately. His 20 years of refereeing tells him that he would better get out of there.
