I was basically jumping out of my skin! Catnap had to calm me down probably like 10 times but I just ended up bouncing again. I look at the worker with excitement waiting for him to tell us what the other surprise was
Worker: y'all will be able to turn human!
I felt my eye twitch...
[What!?]
I sat there for a moment before smiling again even bigger as I raised my hand
"Oh oh oh sir!!! How are we gonna do that!? What are we gonna wear? Will we look the same? What is it like!?"
I kept asking questions before feeling a hand grab my shoulder, I look over noticing catnap
Catnap: calm down dogday- your basically bouncing off the walls!
I put my hand down as I calmed down waiting for the worker to speak again. I noticed everyone was shocked but I didn't think much of it
Worker: yes. We will also be adding new places to the neighborhood! Like a cafe and restaurant and more
I start shaking with excitement! I literally loved surprises! But this one! Omg this one was probably the best so far- no the human form is the best? Idk I was way to happy to even care!

I was not expecting that...? Turning human? What would everyone look like... What would I look like? I was so confused and curious as I raised my hand confused
"Um sir? How are you gonna do that exactly?"
I asked confused.
Worker: well we are gonna put a chip into you all as you will be able to turn human
I sit there shocked and literally speechless... Wait.... Did he say we were gonna learn how to... DRIVE!?... Are we gonna have a car...? I look at the others.
Crafty and bubba were chatting about the news and Bobby seemed happy about it. Kickin just sat there surprised. I look over noticing dogday bouncing off the walls while catnap tried to calm him down.
I look away as I lean back into the chair I was sitting in...

I was shocked! Like blown off my mind! This was so cool! I'm probably gonna look the coolest! I mean I am the best guy here!
I look at the hyper dog next to me while catnap finally got him to calm down. Finally. Bro was yapping in my ear. I'm use to it as I don't mind but it can get annoyed at some times.
I watched the worker clap to get everyones attention as he handed us bags for all of us with... Clothes? Inside?. Hm. I'm probably gonna be the tallest person here. Heh.

I take the bag as I watched the worker walk away. I get up as I take dogday's hand dragging him with me
"I wonder if we already have the chips?"
Dogday looks up at me and shrugs and he says "eh probably"

All the critters spent most of the weekend learning how to drive as catnap and bubba were more fast to learn since they were more listening and understanding. They all learned how to turn human as it felt cool but uneasy in the same way.

I was sitting on my bed as I thought of a great idea! What if I took catnap on a date before we leave-
I grabbed the phone and texted him

†- hey catnap I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me Tomorrow? Since Sunday we are leaving for the trip and today is Thursday. And I was thinking to check out the new cafe before we leave :)

I put my phone down as I get up...

I thought before I got a idea to ask Bobby to help. I walk over to Bobby's house as I knock on her door. I wait for a minute before the door open to reveal Bobby
Bobby: hey catnap! What do you need?
I seemed nervous as I say "well- I was gonna go on a date...? And I don't know what to wear...."
I watched as Bobby gasped and said "omg! Really!? Oh oh oh! I know what to put you in! Come on in!"

I was looking through my closet as I didn't have anything that was actually nice! I noticed crafty and catbee talking.
[Maybe they can help?]
I walk outside and over to them.
Crafty: oh hey dogday! Do you need something?
I nod
"Yeah! I was gonna go on a date with catnap? And I really don't know what to actually wear on the date?"
Catbee: aw! You 2 are so cute together!
Crafty: y'all are going on a date? Since when?
I smile nervous as I say "oh um- me and catnap started dating a couple days ago and never told you guys. Only hoppy and catbee know."
Crafty was stunned that I said that...
Crafty: omg! Why didn't you tell me!?
Catbee: oh? I thought you knew? Wow.

"Can we just help me find something to wear or not?"

I was looking through my clothes of dress up as I find a nice suit that was a beautiful dark lavender purple with a black tie. I give it to him as I smile
"Your gonna look like a little gentleman-"
Catnap: how am I supposed to wear a suit? We don't even wear clothes?
I put both of my hands on my hips staring at him
"Boy- you came up to me asking for help on what to wear now your saying we don't need clothes?"

I said as I give him the suit as he went into the bathroom and put it on

I stare at myself in the mirror as I wore a bright yellow and white sun dress as I look over at crafty annoyed
"Why am I in a dress?"
Crafty smiles awkwardly and says "well- why not surprise catnap! I'm sure he'll love it?"
I sigh as I stare at the outfit as I say "this is too much to handle."
Crafty says "what do you mean?"
I look at her
"I mean that we literally found out we'll be able to turn human! And that we'll learn how to drive and we're going on a vacation... Now I'm going on a date with catnap? It's just so much information to take in-"
Catbee looks confused and says "but you were the one who asked him to go on a date?"
I nod
"I know but I didn't expect him to actually accept!"
Crafty pats my shoulder and smiles
Crafty: it may be crazy- but it's worth it.
I smile softly and nod before looking back into the mirror
"I just don't know."
Catbee sighs and gets up and walks over
Catbee: listen dogday- your the one to ask him to a date! And now your acting like you don't wanna go? Are you wanting to ghost him? Or do you actually wanna go?
I look at her in shocked as I put my hands up in defiance
"What!? Ofc I wanna go! I would never ghost him!"
Catbee: oh really? Because your acting like your uncomfortable going out with him? If you really love him then you would go out with him. He is your boyfriend isn't he?
Crafty: hey hey- let's not fight?
I shush crafty
"Are you trying to say I don't love him!?"
Catbee: if you wanna think it that way then maybe? You never let him kiss you? And now your acting like going on a date with him will be uncomfortable?
I growl as I roll my eyes
"I love him! And always will- if I didn't love him then why will I still date him. And plus- you just got here. Remember that you are just a base- not the product."
Catbee smiles and pushes me outside and says happily "well go get your man- come on don't be a sore loser and bring some spark into that relationship of yours"
I watch her shut the door behind me as I stand there dumbfounded on what just happened- did she just start a fight for nothing? What is going on today???

I was walking to my house happily before getting a text from catbee
Catbee:yo go get your little Amazon package from crafty's house
Amazon package? I didn't order anything? Oh- are they talking about a gift? Probably.

I felt myself getting pulled back into the house and onto the couch
Catbee: just texted catnap to get his little package- aka you-
I stare at her in shock
"What!?"
I watch as she nodded and walked away into the kitchen...

I knock on the door as I wait for a moment before the door swings open as catbee pushes dogday out of the door and into my arms
Catnap: there you go- see ya
I watch her close the door hearing her and crafty's giggles in the house. I look over at dogday for a moment before feeling my face heat up as I noticed what he was wearing

I looked like a girl in this dress. I even felt like a girl! I was holding catnap's hand as he drags me to a cafe we talked about. We finally got to the cafe as we walked inside as we both order drinks before sitting down.

We talked for a while before about the news we heard earlier as the waiter comes over handing us both our drinks as I got strawberry lemonade and dogday got normal lemonade
We talked for more as we laughed and joked around!

We finished our drinks as catnap paid since he stole money from catbee without her noticing. We walk outta the cafe as we joked around more
"Hey catnap-"
Catnap stops walking and looks at me and says "yeah?"
I look at him
"Do you always smell like lavender? Or something?"
Catnap shrugged and said "well you smell like vanilla"
I was surprised about that response?

We continue talking until it was late as we both agreed to talk tomorrow

We bothed waved bye as I climed up into my house as I took off the suit and laid straight into my bed falling asleep smiling
