BROOKE POV

Something inside me changed when Samuel and I spent a few hours together at his movie set, which heated up with a passionate kiss.

Damn you, Samuel, for causing me to have feelings for you when I know, darn well, I will get my heart broken in the end. But maybe, just maybe, it's worth the risk to see where this unexpected connection could lead us.

I rolled to my side as the sun poured into the room and sighed, wondering if I should take a chance on love despite the potential for heartbreak. Maybe this time will be different. But Samuel is always surrounded by beautiful women, and I can't help but feel like just another one in his long line of conquests. However, the way he looked at me during our time together makes me wonder if there's something more genuine between us. Perhaps it's worth exploring further, despite the risks involved.

Samuel asked me to be his date at the wedding, so that's a start.

I placed my pillow over my face and screamed with confusion and excitement.

A knock on the door causes me to stiffen and answer with an unsure tone. "Yes,"

"Come on, Brooke, we have a full day of wedding planning ahead of us." Samuel's voice echoed, and I smiled.

"Give me a few minutes, and I'll be right there." I said, not losing my smile and realising Samuel was making the effort after I had expressed doubts about his commitment to the wedding planning process. He must really want me to be his date at the wedding. I quickly did my morning routine, got dressed, and joined Samuel, feeling grateful for his dedication to making an effort to find a venue for Ella and Lance's wedding.

As I took a seat, I noticed Samuel was glancing through the wedding folder Ella and Lance gave us with their ideas, and Samuel lifted his eyes to me with a smile that reached his eyes.

"So, I've been up for a couple of hours and arranged to have a look at some venues." Samule informed me as he glanced back at the folder.

"Are they what the couple wants?" I asked just to make sure Samule wasn't playing a trick on me.

"It's a little more luxurious than what they were initially thinking, but I think they will love it." It seems like Samuel is finally taking this wedding seriously. "I also made a new list and split it between us." He adds. "Hopefully, this will make things easier for both of us." He just realised how much work goes into planning a wedding.

"Yeah, well, I did most of it last time while you did nothing. So you owe me this time." I hissed, and he planted a kiss on my lips to shut me up.

"Brooke, I apologise for my absence, but I'm focused, and I'm not losing the opportunity for you to be my date." He smugly said that and kissed me, which caught me off guard and knocked the breath out of my lungs.

I creased my brows at him as he stood with the folder, ready to leave, but it's that grin that's not going unnoticed. Oh, Samuel Hunter, I am on to you and your charming ways.

"You may think you won this little battle with your charm and smooth words, Mr. Hunter, but I'm not that easily swayed," I replied with a playful smirk. Samuel chuckled, his eyes sparkling with amusement as he leaned in closer.

"Challenge accepted," he whispered before pressing another quick kiss to my lips and turning to walk away, leaving me both flustered and intrigued.

"Not so fast, lover boy." I retort, and he halts with a smirk. "I'll be keeping a close eye on you," I warned playfully, unable to hide the smile tugging at my lips. Samuel just chuckled and winked before heading out the door, leaving me both exasperated and intrigued by his confident demeanour.

Shit... Did I just call him 'Lover Boy'? Fuck, Brooke, you are so screwed. As I watched him walk away, I couldn't help but wonder what kind of trouble I had just gotten myself into. Samuel's charm was undeniable, and I knew this challenge was going to be more complicated than I had anticipated.

We reached the venue where a young woman greeted us and couldn't take her eyes off of Samuel, and she acted star-struck around him. I rolled my eyes as she showed us the way to the room where they hold weddings.

As I scanned the room, I took a few photos while Samuel was having a deep conversation with the young woman and his bodyguards, who were standing nearby. I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease as I observed the dynamic between Samuel and the young woman. It was clear that his charm had a powerful effect on those around him, and I wondered how this would impact our mission.

I didn't want to interrupt the conversation, but we have very limited time to sort things out. "How many tables do you have?" I was now throwing questions at her to get back on track with why Samuel and I were here in the first place.

"We can host up to three-hundred guests, so we typically set up tables to accommodate a wedding reception." She replies, and I nod.

"This venue is too small for our needs," Samuel interrupts.

"We are close to five-hundred guests." I respond, and Samuel agrees with me.

"And we only have a couple of weeks to find a new venue that can accommodate all of our guests." Samuel adds as he smiles at me.

"We need to act fast and start looking for a larger venue right away," I say, feeling the pressure of the situation. Samuel nods in agreement, and we both know that time is of the essence in finding a new location for our wedding.

Samuel takes my hand, and we leave for the next venue on our list, determined to find the perfect place for the special day.

All morning we spent driving to venues we had picked, and I was beginning to feel a bit discouraged by the lack of options.

"Samuel, we need to find the perfect one. My sister is counting on us to make her wedding day perfect." I was determined to not let her down, but at the same time I was feeling defeated, exhausted, and overwhelmed by the pressure.

Samuel leans closer to me, cupping my cheeks in his hands, and whispers, "We've got this. We'll find the perfect one." His words sound so sure and reassuring, giving me a glimmer of hope in the midst of my uncertainty. "Brooke, there is one place we haven't got on our list, and I think it could be exactly what we're looking for."

"At this point, I will look at anything." I said with a weary smile, feeling exhausted by the constant search for answers.

Samuel leans towards the driver and whispers something, then sits back, taking my hand in his and giving it a reassuring squeeze.

When the car pulled onto a driveway that was lined with trees on each side, I was filled with a sense of peace and serenity.

"This place is beautiful, and it was the perfect place for any bride who wants a fairy tale wedding," Samuel said, giving me a reassuring squeeze. I couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope as we approached the stunning venue. The anticipation of what was to come made me forget about the weariness that had been weighing me down.

As the car headed into an opening, a large stately home stood before us, and the sight took my breath away.

I was in awe at such beauty and couldn't hold back my wow gasp. "Samuel, this is perfect!" Samuel smiled, pleased with my reaction.

"I knew you would like it," he replied, his eyes shining with excitement.

"Like it?" I said, "I absolutely love it!" I'm still in awe at the beautiful structure that's before me. I couldn't believe how thoughtful and romantic he was.

We didn't waste time getting out of the car with a few bodyguards following and entered through the arch double doors, and yet, again, I gasped a wow.

It was something straight out of a fairytale book, and all I could do was be amazed by how beautiful and grand the place was.

Samuel spoke to the receptionist, who frowned as he requested to speak to the manager, which caught the young girl off guard, and she stuttered. But she smiled and was obliging.

A few minutes later, the manager came into view and greeted us. "I'm sorry, but I am the owner of this establishment." Samuel and I exchanged surprised glances before continuing our conversation with the owner.

"We are wondering if you are able to cater for five-hundred wedding guests." Samuel asks, and she smiles.

"We can cater for a thousand guests if needed." She smiles, and we both smile.

We explained our urgency, and she showed us the beautiful ballroom and the gardens where the photographer could set up for the perfect wedding photos.

It was more than perfect, and we booked it, not wasting any time, but when she said how much Samuel and I glanced at each other, "It's going to be worth every penny," Samuel said, and I nodded in agreement.

I know my parents gave my sister a nice lump sum of money for her wedding, but we decided to pay for it ourselves. It was going to be more special that way.

"Ella is going to love it."

"Brooke, don't tell them and spoil the surprise!" Samuel said as he smiled.

"Do you think we could pull this off?" I asked him.

"Yep, and then we can tell them it's our wedding gift to them." Samuel adds, and I like that idea, but it's costing a lot between us.

We left the venue with a smile, knowing we had booked the venue and now had to notify the guests and the caterers.

Well, my day was coming to a close when Samuel asked me to join him by the pool to have a drink and discuss what's left on the wedding list.

As we sipped our drinks, Samuel asked me a few questions, which were so out of the blue. "So, what would be your ideal wedding?" I was caught off guard by the question and fumbled for an answer, unsure of where this conversation was headed.

"The venue is a tough one, but I think a beach with a sunset view would be perfect." I smiled as my eyes gazed at my hands.

"Brooke, why the sad face?" He asked, and I took a deep breath.

"It's nothing." I replied, trying to hide that ache in my heart and the tears threatening to spill from my eyes.

"Who hurt you?" Now Samuel is getting personal, and I don't know what to say to him without being vulnerable.

I shake my head and force a smile, hoping to change the subject. "How about we talk about something else?" I asked, and he stood to sit with me.

"Please tell me." He pleads.

"It's nothing." I didn't want to tell him because he would see me as weak and vulnerable.

"Brooke, I'm here for you. You can tell me anything." That sounded genuine and comforting, but I still hesitated.

"A couple years ago, a guy broke my heart, and when I found out he was living a double life, it shattered me." I took a sip of my drink, then continued. "He was my whole world, and I never saw it coming. He even said we would marry one day, and I was excited, and we talked about what we wanted. But it came crashing down when I saw him at our favourite spot with his wife." My eyes stayed fixed on the pool until Samuel gently tilted my chin.

"I'm so sorry you had to go through that. It must have been incredibly painful to discover something like that. But remember, you deserve someone who will always be honest and faithful to you." His words were soft and meaningful. "Brooke, I need to tell you something." I gulped. "I'm crazy about you, in a good way. Fuck." He sucks in a breath as he rises, pulling me to my feet and cupping my cheeks. "I'm crazy in love with you." My heart flipped, and my breath caught in my throat as I looked into his eyes, feeling a rush of emotions. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, but in that moment, I knew that Samuel was the one I had been waiting for.

FUCK.

Samuel Hunter is in love with me.

Crazy in love. With me.

Our eyes lock for a second as our lips smash together with a fierce force that ignites a flame in my gut, and the passion builds into an inferno that consumes us both. The intensity of our connection is undeniable, and I feel a sense of euphoria knowing that we have finally found each other in this chaotic world. Samuel's declaration of love has changed everything, and I can't wait to see where this new chapter in our relationship will take us.

"I need you." I whispered, and Samuel cupped my ass as we headed to the bedroom.

It was like two savages unleashing their desires, unable to resist the magnetic pull drawing us closer together. Our bodies moved in perfect sync, each touch sending shivers down my spine as we lost ourselves in the heat of the moment.

The desire to want each other was like an inferno burning between us, consuming all doubts and fears and leaving only passion and love in its wake. Samuel's touch was electric, igniting a fire within me that I never knew existed.

"You still feel the same." Samuel moans into my mouth, which only fuels me with an even greater hunger for him. The intensity of our connection was undeniable, leaving us both breathless and craving more.

"Samuel, shut up and fuck me already." I was demanding, and he smiled.

"You are so impatient." Samuel remarks as his eyes scan over my naked frame. "Fuck. You still look the same as you did five years ago." I smiled at the sweet comment as Samuel pressed kisses along my inner thigh, and then a long sexual moan left my lips as his tongue swiped over my pussy. His touch ignited a fire within me, and I knew that this night would be unforgettable. Samuel's expertise in pleasuring me never failed to amaze, leaving me in a state of pure ecstasy. I arched my back in pleasure, feeling completely lost in the moment with him. Samuel was truly a master at satisfying my every desire.

"You still have the same skill as five years ago." I said as I bit my lip, and Samuel glanced at me with a smirk.

"So I did rock your world five years ago?" He asked, and I wiggled my brows.

"Sam, you owe me." And, oh boy, he was giving me everything as he fed my orgasm.

He rose to his knees to slide a condom over his dick and then fucked me like he said he would. My thighs trembled, my body juddered, and my moans became louder and louder until I reached the peak of ecstasy.

And when we were both ready, we came together in a powerful, earth-shattering orgasm. Our eyes locked as we lay there, completely spent and satisfied. I knew in that moment that I was exactly where I was meant to be, and my entire body was tingling with pure bliss. Samuel disposed of his condom, then slid into bed with me, wrapping me up in his arms.

My eyes got heavy, and sleep finally took over.
