y/n's POV
"Mum do I really have to wear this?" I asked my mum as I wore the skin-tight dress that she told me to wear.
"Yes, you can't go to that restaurant with my CEO there looking like a couch potato." she told me as she was doing her mascara.
"Ugh, fine." I obliged.
It's not that I didn't like the dress or anything, I just never wear skin tight clothing and it felt weird.
We were about to go meet my mum's CEO 'cause apparantly my mum understand the strategic direction of the company really well and has a leadership role up for offer for her, and he wanted to do this over entire family dinner because he felt it was a major thing to announce.
"Honey you should wear my grey scarf with that. It'll look stunning. And your brown boots." my mum told me.
"Alright." I said, then proceeded to put on some light makeup like I usually do, leaving my hair down like I usually do, then I was ready to go, not forgetting to put on the scarf and boots of course. My mum was right, it didn't look bad at all.
"Alright, everyone ready to go?" dad asked once everyone was downstairs.
"Wait, I need my phone!" my younger brother, Hyunsoo, said, running to the kitchen where his phone was charging.
"Ugh, that damn phone of yours." mum sighed.
"Alright, now I'm ready." Hyunsoo came back ready this time, so off we went to go meet my mum's CEO and his family.
About twenty minutes later, we arrived at the restaurant a little bit early, so we went to the table that had been booked for the eight of us. We waited for about ten minutes before mum's CEO, his wife, and two sons arrived.
Their eldest son. Their eldest son... wow.
He's, gorgeous, I mean, he doesn't even look real, like as soon as I saw him I thought I was dreaming.
Anyways, back to reality, we greeted them, and as I lastly greeted their eldest son, called Taehun, I noticed how beautiful all his individual facial features were, and the colour of his eyes were majestic. To say the least, he was like a piece of artwork.
Anyways, we sat down, ate, chatted, however Taehun was a lot colder than he seemed. He gave short answers to everything and barely made eye contact.
Taehun's POV
Me and my family walked into the restaurant and I happened to see a really pretty girl about my age.
That's when we approached my dad's employee. Who was the girl's mum.
But I mean wow, this girl was a unique typa beautiful, her hair looked soft, her eyes were stunning and she looked like such a cool person. I greeted her with a faint smile, and then we proceeded to sit down.
That's when I remembered, my dad would kill me if I dated her employee's daughter. So as much as I wanted to talk to her, I tried to act as cold as I could so I don't risk falling any further for her than I should because as you can tell, her looks have already caught me.
"Could I get your number? You seem cool, I'd like to get to know you more." she asked me with a beautiful smile at the end of the night, and that was something I simply couldn't decline.
"Sure. I'd like that too."
Whoops.
three months later~~
Okay so I kinda gave up with tryna be cold. We're insanely close, we clicked so well, I just couldn't do it. Now we're like best friends and I'm just trying my hardest and hoping that I don't fall for her.
The two of us were taking a walk in the park nearing sunset. "Hey Taehun" she called.
"Hm?" I hummed in response.
"I have a random question."
"Ask away."
"What do you think of me? Honestly."
Her question had me taking a deep breath before answering.
"I think you're very witty, funny, caring, cute..." with every one I was listing they got slower. Not because I didn't know, but because I was meant to not show that I have feelings for her, nor actually have feelings for her in the first place.
"You know what, I can't fucking take this anymore." I stopped and turned towards her, suddenly getting mad, not at her, but at myself.
"I think you're witty, funny, caring, cute, loyal, sweet, kind, amazing, fabulous, beautiful, gorgeous, perfect, you name it, I like every single thing about you, your hair, eyes, lips, nose, whatever. But that's pissing me off. 'Cause I'm not meant to like you, my dad would kill me if he knew I was dating one if his employee's daughters! That's the only reason I was cold to you at first. But I'm not holding it back any longer, I don't give a fuck what my dad says or wants me to do at this rate so fuck it all" and then I smashed my lips into hers with no warning, and we kissed passionately for a few seconds before she pulled away and paused for a moment.
"Oh my God, I'm so sorry-"
"Taehun, it's fine. I was hoping you'd say that, 'cause I have feelings for you too." she said with a smile and a faint blush.
I pecked her lips then stared into her majestic orbs.
She asked me "are you sure this is right? I-I mean, my mum would kill me too if she found out I was dating her CEO's so-"
"Yes I'm sure. I don't know about you but I'm gonna give not listening to my dad for once in my life a shot." I said to her. A smile formed on her face as she said "I like that idea" and kissed my lips again, passionately.
Things got heated quickly so we took it back to my place as quietly as we could since my brother was home. We took all the opportunities we could while my parents weren't home.
Wewe were panting like crazy afterwards. We looked at eachother and began laughing, then decided to get cleaned up.
"Taehun! How the fuck am I gonna walk home and act like nothing happened?!" she yelled.
"Yell any louder and my brother will come barging in here." I told her in a low voice "I'll take you home, and we'll say you tripped on a rock or something."
"Alright." she said before we safely headed out while my parents were still out. I made it to hers in a few minutes and she opened the door.
"Hey Mrs Jang! I gave y/n a lift home since she sprained her ankle a little bit." I said to y/n's mum.
"Oh thank you dear, that's sweet of you. Better be careful y/n." her mum said "thanks again Taehun, see you later!"
"Bye, have a good night!" I waved and left.
y/n's POV
"Let me see your ankle y/n-"
"It's not that bad of a sprain mum, it doesn't hurt that much it's just a bit uncomfortable to step on it, that's all. I'm sure I'll be fine in a couple days."
"Alright, fine. Now come, let's have dinner. Your dad made steak."
An hour later, I was laying in bed in my pajamas, scrolling through my phone when my brother knocks on my slightly ajar door with a mischievous smile spread across his face.
I looked him up and down with a weird face as he literally shut the door. This meant no jokes. Which is rare.
"What are you up to?" I asked him.
"Sprained your ankle, huh?" he said, sitting on the edge of my bed.
"Yeah..."
"Hm, doesn't look swollen."
"Yeah didn't you hear my when I said it wasn't a bad sprain?"
"Or did he just go easy?"
"I don't know what you're talking about." I said, raising an eyebrow then looking back at my phone, avoiding eye contact.
"I won't snitch. You know you can trust me." he told me.
"No, I can't" I said with a chuckle, as if I'd ever trust him not to snitch.
"So you're admitting to it?"
"No- UGHH what do you want from me, just get out my room!"
"Alright, fine, but whether or not you'll admit to it, I know that's not the truth. I see the way you and Taehun look at eachother. I promise, I won't tell anyone." Hyunsoo said before exiting my room.
"Ugh, dickhead. Why does he wanna know so bad anyway?" I said to myself then went back to scrolling through my phone.
a week later~~
"You two seem to be getting along really well. I'm glad." my mum said to me and Taehun as we sat at the table eating lunch at our place. Taehun's family decided to visit since my mum invited them over as a thank you for her promotion.
"Thank you for the food." me and Taehun said, leaving to go to my room.
"What are you two gonna do?" Taehun's mum asked.
"We're going to watch a movie." I responded.
Yeah we're literally gonna go make out.
"Oh, what movie?" she asked.
"Big hero 6." Taehun responded this time.
"Oh I love that movie. Enjoy!" she said.
We then got to my room, sat on the bed, and connected our lips. It had been a while so it felt amazing. Well, a week, but that's too still long.
He then pulled away for a second to say "I missed you." and pull me even closer to him if that was even possible.
"Haha, I missed you too." I said back, and we reconnected our lips.
Several minutes later, just as things were starting to get heated, we hear footsteps slow down by the slightly ajar door.
"TAETAK" (sorry I have no idea what his brother's acc called or how old he acc is so pls forgive me lol) Taehun whisper shouted to his little brother.
"Hyung.." he innocently looked back and forth between the two of us and connected the dots.
"Taetak-ah, if you promise me that you won't say a word to anyone about what you just saw, Hyung will buy you an ice cream sandwich. How's that sound, hm?" he said, quite literally blackmailing his brother.
"Okay!" so the two of them linked pinkies, and all that was left to do was hope that a six year old can actually keep that promise and not tell any of our parents otherwise we're screwed, and so are their careers.
Wow, we are putting them on a thin line, didn't actually realised that. I knew we were putting them at risk, not this much though.
"What if he does accidentally tell them?" I asked Taehun as his brother left.
"Well then I'll slap that little shit into next week." he joked, making me crack up.
"y/n! Taehun! Can you two come down?! Now, please!" my mum yelled.
"That's what happens." Taehun said.
"Welp, it was good knowing you." I half-joked, bracing myself for what was about to happen.
