Arthur and Kezia walk into the house, surprised to see everyone sat in the kitchen turn to look at them, "what?" Kez asks.

"Tommy has news," Polly says.

"Given the way you're all staring at me, it seems as though you all already know, and are waiting for a reaction," Kezia responds, placing a cigarette between her lips, "out with it then."

"Kez already knows," Theresa states.

"You already know?" John questions.

"Probably, it would help if I got some context though," Kezia replies, taking a drag from her cigarette.

"We just told them we're together," Tommy says, "and they're under the illusion that you'll be pissed."

"Oh yeah, I've known about that for months," Kezia shrugs.

"Wait- Tom and Tess are together? Since when?" Arthur asks.

"I thought you'd be with your father," Polly says.

"He's come to his senses," Kezia responds.

"Your knuckles are red," Beatrice comments.

"It would seem so," Kez shrugs, "have you seen Ada yet today?"

"No, I was about to go," Bea replies.

"So no updates as of yet, okay, I'm off then," Kezia states.

"Where'd you need to go in such a hurry?" Theresa asks, "you just got here."

"Work," Kez states, "any objections?"

"No, you can go," Polly says.

"Lovely," Kezia nods, turning on her heel and walking out the house.

"So you've come to your senses, eh?" Tommy asks, "why are Kez's knuckles bruised? What happened for you to change your mind?"

"I was wrong, I made some mistakes, I should have listened," Arthur says.

"Arthur, we're not idiots, what did he say to Kez? She walks in with bruised knuckles, and now you're out of cahoots with him, he said something to her, she's hit him, and you've finally made a rational decision, what did he say?" Teresa questions.

"Aren't those questions you should ask her?" Arthur deflects.

"She's not here, you are," Tommy states.

"There's unsavoury language that I'm not comfortable repeating," Arthur replies.

"Then say whatever it is you are comfortable repeating," Polly says.

"I'm not comfortable repeating any of it," Arthur says, "if you want to know, I'm sure Kez will tell you."

"For fucks sake, Arthur, just tell us," Teresa states.

Arthur sighs, "he called her a mistake, filthy and unloveable, there was another word used, but I'm not going to say it."

Teresa glances at Bea who bowed her head when unloveable was mentioned, if anything was going to get to Kez, it'd be that, the other words won't have resonated with her, she had no reason to believe them, she'd had no experience with them, but unloveable, that was probably something that struck a nerve.

"I'm going to Kez," Finn says, rushing out of the house.

"Look, you were right about him, I shouldn't have been so naive," Arthur states, "I'm sorry. I know it doesn't change how I acted, that I just... went with him, but I know better now, and I doubt he'll be in the city tomorrow."

"Why?" Tommy asks.

"I actually need to talk to you about that, Tom," Arthur says, "privately."

"Okay," Tommy nods, and the two eldest brothers disappear into the betting den.

"This has been a lot of information to process in mere minutes, I need a drink," Polly states, resting a hand on Bea's shoulder, "then we'll go to Ada."

-

"Kez? You here?" Finn asks, opening the door to the blacksmiths.

"Over here, Finn," Kezia states, "what are you doing here?"

"I love you, Kez," Finn says, making his way through the store as Kezia lowers her tools, "Arthur spilled his guts?"

Finn nods hugging her, as Kez smiles down at him, pressing a kiss to the top of his head, "thank you for coming, Finno, I love you too."

"Enough to craft me a dagger?" Finn responds cheekily.

"You're never going to give up with that, are you?" Kezia laughs.

"Nope," Finn shakes his head, "what about when I'm older?"

"Okay, maybe when you're older," Kez agrees.

"A day older? So tomorrow?" Finn questions.

"Try being at least seventeen," Kezia replies.

"But that's like six years away," Finn complains, "that's still over half of my life away."

"I'm sure it will fly by," Kezia states.

"Okay, future little sister," Finn teases.

"What've I said about calling me that?" Kezia sighs.

"I don't care, it's funny," Finn grins.

"For you," Kez states.

"Isn't that the point? Why would I stop doing something that amuses me?" Finn remarks.

-

"Are you alright?" Tess asks, as Kez walks into the snug where Tommy, Teresa, John and Esmé were sat.

"Will you all stop looking at me like that," Kez says, "I'm fine, when have I ever cared about something dad has said?"

"That's a fair point," Tommy responds, pouring a glass of whiskey and sliding it across the table to his sister.

There was a knock on the door, before Grace enters, "I'm sorry to interrupt."

Kezia finishes her drink, turning to face the barmaid, who stutters, "oh, I didn't see you come in."

"What'd you need, Grace?" Kez asks.

"Harry's brother in Digbeth has just said to him that police are coming down from Deritend in numbers, asking for Tommy Shelby by name," Grace informs, "apparently it's about that robbery."

"Is that all?" Kezia queries, and Grace nods, "yes, that's all."

"Great, you can leave," Kezia says, ushering Grace out the door, slamming it closed, "what the fuck is going on?"

"I'm guessing they've found the cargo," Tommy states.

"You need to hide," Tess says.

"Tess, you remember that locked office I showed you at the Blacksmiths?" Kez asks.

"Of course," Tess nods.

"Dwight built a bunker, the desk in the private office is over a latch hidden by a rug, there's supplies down there, take Tommy there," Kezia states.

"What? Hidden bunker? Private office?" Tommy questions.

"No arguing, just go, I'll come find you when it's died down a little, but for the next couple of hours whilst coppers are everywhere, you're being hidden," Kez states, handing her keys to Tess, who was tugging at Tommys arm, imploring him to just hurry up and follow her.

"Are you sure it's the best idea for us to still be here?" John inquires.

"They only really want Tommy," Kezia shrugs.

"We've got children, I don't want them losing a father," Esmé states, "they might arrest him if they see him."

"Then go home to the kids, have a decent nights rest, you both really have nothing to worry about, they're not going to show up at your house, they'll show up here though," Kezia says.

-

"Why're you out here and not in there?" Bea asks, noticing Kez sat at the end of the bar, staring at the doors, every few seconds taking a sip from her drink.

"Nobody else is here," Kez responds.

"Where have they gone?" Bea queries, but Kez can see Grace loitering nearby, she wasn't going to give her anything to relay to the police.

"I don't know," Kezia shrugs, "did you hear what Harry said to Grace about his brother?"

"That officers were on their way asking for Tommy Shelby," Bea answers, "why?"

"Did he mention why they wanted Tommy?" Kezia asks, and Bea shakes her head, "no just that they'd been through Digbeth on their way and are asking for him, Harry didn't say why."

"Interesting," Kez hums.

Why did Grace add information that she hadn't been told? Did she get insight from the coppers? Was she still making deals? Campbell had said that there was something Kez nor anyone had figured out, was Grace working for the police? Was the Freddie situation more than a one time thing? Had she been spying on them? Had she only come to them for the purpose of retrieving the guns?

"Why's that interesting?" Beatrice questions.

"It just is," Kezia says, as Inspector Campbell and Moss step through the doors of the pub, "where is Thomas Shelby?"

The entirety of people in the establishment stayed silent, instead just choosing to stare at the coppers, who were scanning the pub, their eyes landing on the bar staff before on Kez who gave them a little wave.

"You're going to scare off patrons," Kezia states.

"Where is your brother?" Campbell asks, sliding his gun along the counter as he walks towards her.

"Which one?" Kezia shrugs.

"You've lost your bargaining power," Campbell scoffs, "heed my advice, don't get smart with a man holding a gun. You know I mean Thomas. Where is Thomas Shelby?"

Kezia checks her pocket watch, she just needed to keep some coppers occupied whilst Tommy made his way to the hiding place, she reckoned currently they'd be a couple of minutes away from the blacksmiths.

She shrugs lazily, "probably somewhere in Birmingham."

"You know where your brother is, don't play coy with me," Campbell says, lifting the gun from the counter, and aiming it in Kez's general direction, she laughs, turning to the mirror behind her, before looking back at the Inspector, "are you aiming for me or the mirror? You shoot now, you'll miss me, break the mirror and get seven years bad luck."

"You gypsies and your superstitions," Campbell scoffs.

"You don't seriously think you have the upper hand here, do you?" Kezia asks, amused by the serious look on his face, "oh you do, that's cute, and a little demented."

"You must be under the impression that I care if you live or die," Campbell states, "tell me where your brother is?"

"Which one?" Kezia smirks, unflinching when he fires a bullet smashing the mirror behind her, "seven years bad luck that is."

"Tell me where Thomas Shelby is," Campbell demands, outraged as he grabs Kez's collar lifting her from her chair and pushing her against the wall, pressing the gun to the underside of her jaw, she just smiles at him, "no."

"You're making stupid decision after stupid decision," Campbell says.

"When you lose your head, you lose the fight," Kezia states, "you've already lost your wits, and I don't lose in general. The odds are stacked against you, Chester, and you're delusional if you think pointing a gun at me will ever make me change my mind about telling you something."

"I don't see how I'm the one at a disadvantage here," Campbell sneers.

"You got distracted," Kezia says, "you've wasted time, you'll never catch him now. So why don't you heed my advice, get out of here, take Moss and Grace with you, before this turns violent and someone who can actually aim a weapon decides to fire one. I don't miss."

"You worked it out, I wondered how long it would take," Campbell chuckles.

"You must be annoyed, a little birdy mentioned you proposed to her, it can't feel great for you that I got her screaming my name mere minutes after we first met," Kezia whispers, "you must hate the fact she's in love with me."

"You're lying!" Campbell scoffs.

"Why would I lie? She told me so herself," Kezia shrugs, "so take your little spy, and get the fuck out of here before I kill the both of you."

Campbell didn't know how it happened, it was so fast, but suddenly Kezia had disarmed him and the revolver was now in her hand pressing against his chest, "you going to leave now? Or do you want me to pull the trigger on you and blondie over there?"

"We're leaving, but don't think we won't find him," Campbell says, backing away from Kez, "Moss, Grace, we're off, we're not getting anywhere here."

Grace looks at Kez, who shrugs, "off you go, copper."
