Natasha asked her 15 year old daughter, who was leaning opposite her on the kitchen isle, scrolling on her phone.
Alena looked up for a second, sighed and set down her phone.
,,Конечно, мама (Sure thing, Mama)"
She replied, although her voice held a slight annoyance. The redhead made her way to the secluded area, which was only accessible with authentication. Normally, she just had to type in her code for it to open, but apparently, Tony had changed some things.
,,Voice activation required"
FRIDAY's voice rang from the touch pad, which lit up blue as Alena tried putting in the code. The 15 year old rolled her eyes and placed her hand onto the outline of the touch pad.
,,Alena"
She tried, staring at the device expectingly. To her surprise, it made a denying sound, before FRIDAY elaborated:
,,Access denied"
,,Oh my god. Alena Romanoff-Rogers"
The girl tried again, just to hear it beeping again. This began to get on her nerves.
,,Access denied"
FRIDAY retorted once more. Alena scoffed. What could Tony possibly have done so she couldn't enter.
,,Alena, Natasha's daughter"
She tried once more. Again, the AI informed her that her ,,Access denied". The redhead let out a grunt, her anger level rising. She just needed some stupid mission reports and now she was stuck in front of Tony's office.
Suddenly though, she realised what her mistake had been. It was Tony of course he wouldn't use their normal names, but some sort of nickname.
,,Fuck you, Stank"
Alena grumbled, before she placed her hand onto the device again. This time, when FRIDAY inquired voice activation, she was prepared.
The redhead pursed her lips, contemplating all the life choices she'd made up to this point that led her to this moment. She clicked her tongue, before she retorted:
,,Mini Romanoff"
,,Access granted, welcome, Mini Romanoff"
FRIDAY greeted her cheerfully as the door to Tony's office opened and let the girl in. She returned 2 minutes later with the files, hurrying to get them back to Nat.
,,What took you so long, детка свет (baby light)?"
The redhead asked her daughter jokingly as she took the reports from the very annoyed looking 15 year old. Alena gave a short glare.
,,Тони и его защитная система и его дурацкие прозвища (Tony and his protective system and his stupid nicknames)"
Alena murmured, peering over her Mom's shoulder to catch a glimpse at one of the now open mission reports. Nat placed an affectionate hand to her cheek.
,,Well thanks for getting it, моя любовь (my love)"
She smiled and pressed a kiss to her daughter's cheek. Alena returned the smile.
Their bond was unbreakable and it was proven time and time again. Nobody could ever tear them apart...
