Those worker's attentive eyes on me.

Pete slightly moves his head to avoid my touch.
"If you knew...why did you make him work late?!...I was waiting for him."
I never thought I would hear Pete being so blunt about it.
Is he that bold about his intimacy with Vegas now?!
Pete's POV
"I didn't. He did."
"Uh?!"
"Vegas dragged me to my room to work until 3 in the morning."
"He did...?!"
"As I said, just call him and ask yourself. Because of him, we're staying for another week...He arranged some unnecessary additional business to keep us busy."

"At first I thought he did it to stay more days with you, but since he's not here..."
"Vegas is very responsible with Minor family's affairs. He takes good care of it."
He takes another step forward leaving me trapped against the desk.

I felt the sheet being pulled from my body, which instinctively made me withdraw, covering my chest with my hands over the transparent robe. That embarrassing situation made me close my eyes and stand still for a couple of seconds.
