It was Christmas Eve. New York was crowded, being outside at this time was like an obstacle course.
"What do you mean there is no reservation with my name ?, Y/N frowned and started to loose patience.
– I am sorry Miss, I can't found your reservation, the waiter answered.
– I called a week ago !, she exclaimed.
– A week ago ?, the man scoffed. Miss, you know that this is a 5 star Michelin restaurant ? You can't book a week ago here, unless you are the president, the waiter rolled his eyes and chuckled in disbelief.
– Yes, thanks., Y/N frowned and glared at the waiter.
– If there is no reservation Miss, I may ask you to wait outside please, the waiter added with an unbothered expression."
In this freezing cold ? Waiting outside ? The waiter didn't care at all!
Y/N began to grumble and sulk to the way of exit. She took her phone from her purse and composed boyfriend's number.
"Yes Ma'am! I am on my way, you are going to see me in five minutes inside, Choso beamed to the phone.
– Choso..., she let out a frustrated sigh. They said there is no reservation with my name. They kicked me out of the restaurant.
– They kicked you out ?, Choso snapped. In this freezing cold ? Couldn't they just let you wait for a moment ?, he let out a sigh. I am here soon darling. Don't be sad and wait for me !
– Okay..., she said with sad voice before hanging up."
With the same little pout on her face, Y/N put her phone in her designer purse.
"Why a beautiful lady like you is alone in the streets of New York on Christmas Eve ?, an unknown voice startled her."
She frowned and raised her gaze, just to meet a blonde guy in his thirties. Green eyes, tall, freckles... He wasn't ugly but right now ? Hitting on her was not the best idea at all.
"Why would a slob like you decide to hit on me on Christmas Eve ?, she retorted.
– Woh, easy tiger. I found you cute but if you have this attitude...
– What ? If I have this attitude, then what ?!, her frustration took the lead of her emotions and the guy looked like the perfect punching-ball.
– Are you playing hard to get ? It's turning me on, he chuckled."
She was ready to insult him but when she opened her mouth to say something, she felt a hand around her waist.
"Is there something wrong with my wife?, she closed her eyes and let out a small sigh of relief when she heard Choso's familiar voice.
– Oh, taken ?
– Yeah, get lost, Choso said in a threatening tone."
Y/N noticed that his fist was clenched.
The guy nodded and let out a "my bad" before stepping back.
"Your wife ?, Y/N face him with an amused smile despite her frustration.
– Looking like that ? Hell yeah, you are my Miss Itadori, Choso chuckled."
He wrapped his arms around her and let his head rest on the top of head.
"Are you okay sweetheart ?, he asked with a soft voice.
– I am disappointed... This Christmas is different of the others because I am celebrating with you and I wanted everything to be perfect, she complained.
– I don't need a fancy restaurant to have a perfect Christmas Eve Y/N, he stroked her back gently."
She nodded and reciprocated his hug like a little baby who wanted comfort.
"It's the first time that I am not celebrating with my family or friends..., she continued.
– Oh, I am not enough ?, Choso teased before laughing.
– You are more than enough Choso but I miss them, she confessed with a soft voice."
Choso put his hands on Y/N's shoulders and stepped back to look her in the eyes.
"Let's go back to my place, I know how to make this night... hmm memorable ?, he tilted his head and thought for a moment.
– Did you planned something ?, she asked quite surprised.
– You will see !, Choso answered with a genuine smile."
She wanted to wrap her arm around Choso's arm but Choso stepped back, pulling his phone out of his pocket.
"But first, let me take shot of how beautiful you are, he was now taking a video of Y/N."
Choso's phone screen showed Y/N's eyes softening. Her frown and pout left her face and now she was smiling and giggling.
"You the one talking ? Sir, is quite elegant tonight, she answered while trying to hide her laugh."

Choso turned his phone's camera towards him.
"She called me sir, she just doesn't know how hot it sounds coming from her mouth, Choso whispered playfully.
– What did you say ?, she asked while walking to him.
– My, my... Are you a model ? Because you are nailing that walk, love !, he exclaimed, trying to change the subject."
Y/N scoffed and rolled her eyes.
"He just called me his wife !, she exclaimed with a big smile to the camera.
– Soon to be, he corrected in a whisper to not let her hear that.
– Stop whispering ! I am not hearing anything with this wind !, she complained playfully.
– Guys, I love her bye, he confessed to his phone before stopping the recording."

📍 Choso's building apartment
As the elevator doors closed behind them, Y/N couldn't contain her excitement, bouncing on the balls of her feet.
"So, what's the surprise?, she asked Choso, her voice filled with anticipation.
– You'll see soon enough, Choso smiled and replied vaguely."
Y/N couldn't help but pout in frustration at his brief response, but she couldn't deny the flutter of excitement in her chest. She wracked her brain, trying to guess what Choso had planned.
"You are really not going to tell me, uh ?, she insisted."
Choso chuckled and came closer to lift her chin with his thumb.
"Please baby, be patient, he said with the softest voice."
Y/N stepped back and looked away to hide her blush. She nodded obediently while Choso was looking at her quite amused.
When they finally reached Choso's apartment, he reached for the doorknob with a small grin. As they stepped inside, the lights were off.
Y/N's heart raced with anticipation, her eyes darting around the darkened space. Suddenly, the lights flickered on, and to her surprise, she was greeted by the excited shouts of her friends... Yuji, Maki, Nobara, and Noritoshi, jumping out from their hiding place.
"Surprise!, they exclaimed all together, their voices echoing through the whole apartment."
Y/N stood frozen in shock, her eyes wide with disbelief. Tears welled up in her eyes as she took in the sight of her friends gathered to celebrate Christmas Eve with her. She felt overwhelmed with emotion, unable to believe that Choso had planned such a thoughtful surprise for her.
Choso stepped forward, wrapping his arms around Y/N in a tight embrace.
"Merry Christmas, Y/N, he whispered."
Y/N couldn't help but shed a few tears of joy. It was a Christmas Eve she would never forget.
"Sorry girl, I'm the one who cancelled your restaurant reservation, Nobara admitted before pulling her best friend towards her to hug her tightly."
Obviously, Yuji joined the hug and all of you started to jump like kids. You started laughing out loud, so happy to be here with them.

hi everyone, hope you are doing well.
i just wanted to talk about few things... i don't know how to start lol
so, compared to my other works, I don't write this one as seriously. i just write whatever pass my mind, there is no distinct plot...
but i regret few things!
first of all, i regret the whole drama around yuki and choso. i wanted to add some angst but it kind of annoy me that choso had a "sexfriend". i mean y/n waited a long time before trying to date again, SHE WAS DEVOTED. and it gives me a little ickkkkk that he didnt wait for her, it's less romantic and im a hopeless romantic i shouldn't have write that.
especially that now, i just brush it off and idk how to settle the whole thing...
you have some advices, im ok with knowing them lol
secondly, I should have given more depth to Megumi and Yuta's characters. i portrayed yuta like a mean boy and megumi like a dumb boy without any reason... i thought it was fun but i just needed to put some explanations behind it yk?
maybe when the story will be completed, i will rewrite it and change some details (big details)
on the other hand, just to notice you guys... the story will soon be coming to an end. 😞

do you want chose and y/n to go on like this, madly in love, very cute and all..? no angst no problems, everything is good ?
