Penelope and Charles
It is 2 days later and Penelope and Charles are heading home with their baby girl Alice. They had a great time visiting Spencer and Toby but are excited to get home. On the flight here things went pretty good. Penelope was paranoid the whole trip though, she was worried that Alice would end up getting sick because of her really weak immune system. Lucky she didn't on the way there, now their both hoping she don't on the way back either. Right now there were sitting at the gate for their flight. The little newborn Alice was sound asleep in Penelopes arms and she was sitting next to Charles waiting to board.
Charles looks down and smiles "She's so cute when she's sleeping" He smiles and looks up at Penny
Penny nods "I agree, she looks so peaceful."
"She does, I wish I could just fall asleep anywhere like she can" Chase laughs and Penny laughs too
"Me too"
"Hopefully she will stay asleep most of the flight, because as long as shes asleep theres less of a chance of her being fussy, or getting sick" Chase says
Penny nods "Very true, because we don't want either of those."
"Right" Chase smiles and leans down and kisses Penny, she kisses back and then smiles
"Flight 368 to Boston now boarding section A" An announcement is made
"Thats us" He stands up and grabs the diaper bag, and the carry on bag and Penny stands up holding Alice close as they get their tickets scanned and they board the plane.
Chase put the bags in the upper compartment except for the diaper bag which he put under the seat in front of him so they had easy access to it.
Penelope had a carseat for Alice on the plane and put it by the window carefully laying sleeping Alice down in it, while she sat in the middle, and Chase to the left of her.
The flight was going pretty well, until about an hour in when Alice wakes up crying because of her ears.
With the elevation the plane has to go to the air pressure tends to plug peoples ears, adults and older children are able to unplug them by swallowing, but babies and young children don't know how to do that on their own which in returns leaves a ton of pressure build up in their ears, and it really hurts.
Penelope sees her and frowns picking her up "Aww baby mamas here" She says rocking her but she wouldn't stop crying
"Could you get her to shut up!" An older lady turns around and says meanly to Penny and Chase
"Excuse me?" Penny says not happy
Chase puts a hand on Penny's shoulder signaling her to stop
"I'm sorry M'am were trying the best we can, i'm really sorry"
"You better be sorry! And you better get her to shut up too!" She say rudely until her husband makes her turn around
"I'm sorry" He says to us and we nod
"It's okay I understand" Charles says
"I'm trying to get her to stop I'm sorry" Penny says
"It's okay" He says and turns back around
Another lady behind them about the same age as Penny taps on her shoulder making her jump.
"Sorry" She says
"It's okay" Penny says not upset
"I wanted to tell you to try feeding her, shes probably crying because her ears hurt, if she's eating it will allow her to unplug her ears because shes swallowing." She tells us
I nod "Wow, good idea your probably right" Penny says
Chase grabs a bottle and Penny starts feeding her and sure enough that was exactly what was wrong as soon as her ears pop she calmed down.
Penny smiles and turns around some "Thank you so much"
"Your welcome" She smiles "We've had babies on planes before too, believe me I know how it feels" She chuckles
Penny and Chase chuckle too
Chase takes a picture of them sitting there and Penny smiles
"Perfect, my 2 beautiful girls" Chase smiles
Penny does too they have been trying to take a lot of pictures so they could cherish all these great memories their creating as a new family.
3 hours pass, out of their 4 and a half hour flight. They have been up a lot between going to the bathroom, as well as changing Alice who never seemed to go they same time they had to, and just getting up to get things to walk around holding Alice to get her to sleep again. But now Alice was finally back in her carseat sound asleep again, and Penny had her head resting on Chase as they were both sound asleep too.
Until Alice wakes up crying once again.
Penny and Chase both start to wake up again and Penny unbuckles and picks up Alice bouncing her "Shh baby it's okay" She says and keeps bouncing her trying to get her to calm down.
Chase yawns and stretches some watching Penny and Alice
Alice starts to calm down and starts sucking on her hand and Penny smiles "See big girl your okay"
Alice looks at Penny and smiles and then stops and scrunches up her face.
Penny and Chase both laugh and Penny puts Alice on her chest and rubs her back "Are you okay baby?" Alice was contend until she decides to poop.
But when she pooped she pooped so much it came right out of her diaper and out of the onesie she had on and all over herself and even more on Penny.
"Oh my god!" Penny almost screams and Alice starts crying again
Chase tried not to laugh and held up his phone "Smile"
Penny looks at him not happy "Seriously" She says mad
He puts it down and smiles "Hey you said you wanted to capture all the memories"
she just looks at him and Chase and Penny stand up, walking to the little bathroom holding Alice as they walk and try to clean up.
They wiped down Alice and put a new diaper and onesie on her, she was easy to clean up.
Chase was holding Alice while Penny was trying to clean up
She groans "How am I supposed to get this all off my shirt? I'm going to smell like shit now"
Chase hides a laugh "Here let me go get my sweatshirt and you can put it on instead of that shirt that work?" He asks
Penny nods
Chase smiles "Hold her and I'll go get it" He hands Alice to Penny
Penny holds her and looks at her "Why did you have to poop on mama? Huh?" Penny looks at her and chuckles
Alice just stares up at Penny and Penny smiles "I still love you baby girl" She kisses Alice's head
Chase soon comes back with his sweatshirt "Here honey" He takes Alice and gives her the sweatshirt.
"Thank you so much" Penny says taking off her shirt and putting on the sweatshirt instead it was a little big and Penny and Chase both chuckle when she puts it on
"I like that look" Chase smiles
Penny chuckles "Thanks"
Chase chuckles too
They walk back to their seats laying Alice back in her carseat and sitting back down
Penny cuddles up in the sweatshirt and lays her head on Chase "Mm this smells like you" She smiles
Chase smiles too "Is that a good thing?"
She nods "Yes a very good thing" She smiles and then reaches up and kisses him.
Chase kisses back and smiles
After a while they announce that they are landing the plane, and not much longer after they were on the ground.
They get off Penny Carrying Alice in her carseat who started crying again because of her ears, and Chase got the carry ons.
They got to baggage claim to get their luggage and Alice would not stop crying.
Penny was standing next to Chase swaying her carseat back and forward trying to calm her down
"She won't stop" penny sighs and looks at Chase, they landed around 2 am and are exhausted
"I know" He sighs "Try feeding her"
"I did, shes not hungry she just ate before we landed" She groans
"How about a paci?" He suggests and Pennys eyes lit up "Yes! Give me one"
He reaches in the diaper bag and gets one and putting it in Alice's mouth for Penny
"It worked" She smiles as Alice started to calm down a lot more
"Told you" He smirks
They soon get their luggage and go get their car out of the parking garage and start heading home.
"look" Chase whispers and nudges Penny
"Hm?"
He puts his finger to his mouth to signal shh and points to the back where Alice was.
Penny looks back there and smiles looking at their baby sound asleep in her carseat on the way home.
When they get home they get the luggage in and Penny was about to get Alice when Chase stopped her. "No baby I'll get her, you go shower and get ready for bed" he smiles and she nods they kiss and she goes inside and gets in the shower.
Chase smiles and takes Alice inside in her carseat, and carefully sets it down and then carefully takes Alice out.
Alice whines some string in her sleep
"shh" Chase whispers putting Alice over his shoulder to carry her upstairs
She starts sucking on her Paci again calming herself down and right back asleep.
Chase sighs in relief and walks upstairs placing her in her crib
She stays asleep and Chase smiles "Goodnight Princess" He whispers before turning on her night light and mobil, and then he leaves cracking the door on his way out.
When he walked into his room he saw Penny sound asleep in her spot, he hair wet from taking a quick shower
He chuckles at the fact she was already asleep. He changes and crawls into bed with her.
He felt her turn and wrap her arms around him cuddling. He holds her close as they both fall back asleep together.
Authors Note; Yes yes I know I haven't updated in like forever! But I'm not even going to give an excuse besides the fact that I have been extremely busy, because all you care about is the chapters getting published right? Lol I am so sorry I haven't been on though! have the next to chapters kind of planned and I a hoping that they will work and I am able to write them and publish them soon.
So what did you guys think of this chapter? It's was about 1903 words long, not super long, but not super short either.
So, I have had a couple people tell me that Spencer and Toby should give some or all of their triplets to Penelope and Charles since their having trouble conceiving, I'm still not sure how I feel about that idea. What are you guys thoughts?
Also the last thing is I am starting to add a cast list. So it's like the actors or actresses that would play these characters as if it was like a movie, or tv show or something. I just put different people down for each character, you will start to see it pop up, hope you like.
