I rolled over to as the gleaming sun rays hit my face and my naked body shivers due to the cold breeze of the ocean that I can locate right away because of the room we are currently staying in right now.
"Hmm... Badaaaaa!!!" I yelled out when I felt the bed empty
I could hear the splash of water and I looked down on my feet as I rushed to cover my body with sheets
She didn't even wake me up
I grab the covers and got out of bed rubbing my eyes and walked down the stairs to see her panting
"Why didn't you woke me up?" I asked her sitting down on one of the benches near the water
"You look so peaceful I didn't want to wake you up from your slumber baby" She smiled widely and I found myself smiling and shaking my head
"I could've joined you" I said motioning to her wet look after swimming
"You can still join me now" She said giving me a suggestive look
"No. I'm completely naked" I said with as my eyes widen at her
"And? We are the only ones here" She smiled resting her chin on the back of her hands as she placed her palms flat on the wooden floor still floating on the water
"Bada no" Her smile grew wider
She climb back up and walk slowly to me
She removed her shirt, untied her hair and removed the swimming trunks and underwear she's currently wearing
Before I could say anything her long arms reached out removing the covers on my body and she picked me up bridal style
I wasn't even able to scream when she plunged both of us to the water
I coughed and gagged because of the water and laughed, I splashed water at her
"I didn't need to be fully woken up like this" I almost yelled out at her and she started laughing
"Come here" She said while we're both floating in the water
I rested my arms on her shoulders
"Thank you" I said, she smirked and let out a little chuckle
"For what?" She asked looking down at me with her hands holding my waist
"Skinny dipping has always been on my bucket list" I said laughing considering we are completely naked on the water of Maldives
"We'll check out everything that are listed on your bucket list" She said giving me a kiss on the lips
We took a few more swims and had played on the water
Then we got back inside our cottage
I turned on my phone that was off all through out the wedding and on our way here
I saw notification from Cate's post
'Congratulations, Mrs & Mrs... Idk if i should be happy for you guys or feel sad that I am so single right now'
I laughed at Cate's caption
There was a message from an unknown number and I opened it
Unknown Number: hey mads... its claudie... i just wanna say congratulations on your wedding... I am deeply sorry and there's no apology in this world that could ever be enough for what i did to you, im happy that you're happy, i hope we can put the past behind us and i wish you nothing but the best and i hope i get to see you again
My demeanor changed as I saw Claudie's message
Bada walked in drying her hair with a small towel
"What's wrong?" She asked putting down the towel and sitting beside me
"It's Claudie, she sent me a message" I replied to her and Bada's eyebrow creased
"Can I see?" She asked for permission and I smiled
"You don't even have to ask" I said giving her a kiss on the cheek and handing her my phone
I stood up and grab the hair dryer to dry my hair
Bada walked inside the bathroom
"Here" She smiled and gave me kiss in the head as she put down my phone beside the sink
I put in some bit of make up and tied my hair up
"Let's go take a stroll at the city" She said and I grabbed my phone and sling bag
We got out and I saw a motorcycle and Bada turned to me with a smirk
"You're really enjoying this don't you?" I said sarcastically
"Oh definitely" She said laughing as I rolled my eyes at her
She placed the helmet on my head and helped me ride the bike and she started the engine
We went to the city and ate some ice cream, some delicacies and bought souvenirs from Dylan, Abi, Mom, Cate, Kirsten, Minah, Jackson and Bada's Dad. She personally bought a gift for Kai
We sat down on the restaurant and I can see her wittling something on the wooden gift she got for Kai
"What are you doing?" I asked her and she smiled at me like a Cheshire Cat
"Making Kai's gift more personalized" She said as she let out a little giggle

"Look" She said and I saw what she carved on the perfectly silent wooden keychain she got for Kai
'Here, Dick'
"You think he'll appreciate it? Since he hasn't stopped pestering me for a souvenir" She asked sarcastically after laughing loudly
"This is why Minah and Jackson asked me for a souvenir instead of you" I laughed at her as I took a bite of my food
I heard my phone dinged and I open it up
Unknown Number: i didnt mean to make anyone upset bada, i just want to make things right with maddy... im sorry if i got u mad or sumn i just want to sincerely apologize to her
That's weird the whole conversation has been deleted and this message box looks brand new
"Bada, did you delete Claudie's message?" I asked her and she turned her head to me, the smile is now wiped off of her face
"What did you say to her?" I asked her as confusion starts to arise in my mind
"Nothing important" She hastily replied looking like a kid that got caught eating a candy when they shouldn't have
"Bada." I said in low tone and she let out a deep breath rolling her eyes
"I told her to stop bothering us and that whatever she has to say doesn't matter anymore and that we are happy" She said almost pissed off
"Happy?" She added with spite covering her words
"Happy? Why would I be happy? I wasn't planning on replying to her message Bada, Claudie was my friend-"
"Yeah your friend that confided to, who ratted you out to Damon, who ran off to your Dad and caused us 3 years of our relationship" She spat at me and I bit my lower lip
"Bada, Claudie didn't cost us 3 years of our relationship, you did... Remember? You even said that you were so scared of how far our relationship could take us. You left that's why we lost three years of our relationship. Not Dad, not Damon, and not Claudie. You saw a way out and you took it" I said to her as anger started forming in my brain
I stood up and left the table
Bada ran after me and grabbed my arm
"Maddy please" She pleaded
"Look at us! One day in, in our marriage we are already fighting over a stupid thing that happened years ago!" I almost yelled if it weren't for the people passing us by
"I'm sorry" She said and I was shocked
If this was before Bada won't back down, she won't just say sorry she would've fought for her side of the story
"What?" I asked not believing that she's apologizing
"I said I'm sorry... I shouldn't have messaged Claudie... I got mad, remembering everything you went through while we're apart got the best of me. I got emotional and I let it control me... I'm sorry" She said looking down on her shoes with her hands inside her pockets
"I know we went through so much in our relationship Bada... Trust me I didn't even expect that we'll be here in this position right now, but we're here. I chose you... and you chose me" I said to her, placing my hand on her cheek.
"I don't care how many arguments I'd let you win, as long as you're with me, I don't care if we're fighting" She said looking directly at my eyes
"I would always choose you Bada, even if I'm already old, even if I get Alzheimers, even if I developed Dementia, even if I get into a car accident and get an amnesia I'll always go back to you and I'll always choose you" I said to her smiling
"Okay, chill on the illness and accidents, I don't want that to happen" She said with eyebrows creased up and giving me a horrified look and I laughed loudly
"I love you, Bada"
