Bada's POV
We are now at reception, and everyone is having fun, Maddy is dancing and greeting the people on the venue
I try to entertain myself with other things, but my eyes has been glued to her the whole ceremony
All I can think is the first time I bumped to her at the coffee shop, the time she took me to Santa Monica Pier, the first time we had an actual real date, that time where we kissed in the middle of the museum at Korea, that time she arrived at Seoul after not seeing her for so long...
She had always said that she is so lucky to be married to me, that above everyone in the world that could be in her position she's the one that I chose.
But little did she know that she's the one who chose me, that she could literally be with any girl or guy for that matter right now... But she chose me.
I stood up and went to the part of the beach where there's not much people to take time and look up to the moon
Mom...
I never thought that this time would come, and above everything else the only wish I have right now is to be with you, you, here celebrating with us...
"You would've loved the wedding venue mom... Its all white and lit up with a lot of light bulbs" I laughed dryly as I look at the clear sky with gleaming twinkling stars
"You would've loved Maddy, she's- she's wonderful Mom, she's everything I wished I was... She has this big kind heart that could engulfed anyone on the path... You would've adored her"
Would've... would've... would have...
"You're right... She would have loved her" I turned my head almost instantly and saw Dad smiling with his hands on his pockets as he walked slowly sitting beside me
"I know you think I forgot about your mom sea, but that never happened, everyday I think of her and I pray to God for her... And I know for a fact, that if she could see you right now, she would be so proud of the person you've become. She would be delighted to see what you've achieved and reached, and I'm pretty sure she would probably kill me just to walk you to that aisle" He said and I sobbed resting my head on his shoulders
"I miss mom, dad... I miss her so much it hurts that I am so happy to enter my new life with Maddy and she can't be here with me" I said in between my sobs
"Sweetheart, she never left... She's always there, she's always there watching over you, that's why you have always been successful... Because she always watch and guide you over." He said hugging me completely
"I love you, Dad... I know I'm not vocal with my feelings after Mom died, but I love you so much... Thank you for accepting and supporting me through everything and anything I do" I said while my face buried on his neck
"I am so proud of you Bada... Always" He replied as he held my shoulders tight
"Now come, dance with your wife before you guys leave for your honeymoon" He smiled helping me up and dragging me back to the venue
"WIFE!!!" Maddy exclaimed jumping to my arm and hugging me and laughing at herself
"You're not drunk right?" I said seeing the champagne glass on her hand
"Oh my god, me? Drunk? At my own wedding day? Definitely no! I'm just happy baby" She said resting her arms on my shoulders
I placed my hands on her waist as we sway to the song
Yellow by Coldplay started playing...
"Just realizing now, I have a confession to make" She said smiling widely
God, I am so whipped to this woman. I will do everything for her
"What is it?" I asked smiling back at her
"Remember that time where we met for the first time and you handed me your shirt?" She started
"Yes..." I replied waiting for her to continue
She laughed lowly and look up at me
"I thought to myself your scent was familiar" She continued
"And..." Waiting for the next thing she'll say
"I asked your Dad if you've ever been here in the US before I even met you and he said yes one time just one time, you attended a dance class for Parris before" Ah, I remember that...
Dad made me go to that dance class after a year of Mom's death so I can distract myself
Maddy pulled out a photo from her cleavage and we both laughed at her hiding place and showed it to me
"That was me Bada, we were in the same class that time, but we never spoke, we never interacted with each other and then 4 years later you entered UCLA" She said and my mouth hit the floor
"There's Kirs as well, I'm like 5 or 6 person away from you, Kirs and I have always attended the same dance classes way before and I'm surprised she didn't remember you as well... But I've always smelled your perfume at the locker room since you always spray it on yourself so much before you leave" She said and I couldn't believe my eyes...
I've met her before, way before... We were that close...
And now I'm marrying her
I looked at her and immediately kiss her
Maddy's POV
I kept the photo Bada's dad gave me after he gave it to me when he landed here on LA
He said that he had always took photo of Bada's dance classes and even if he's not there he always keep a hard copy pictures of Bada's competitions and classes so he can keep it forever
I didn't expect Bada's reaction after seeing the picture she looks so shocked and surprised and I can't help but giggle a bit at the coincidence
That's why I thought I know her scent when I first saw her at the coffee shop... That's why I thought she smelled familiar
She looked at me while I'm smiling and grab my cheek lightly and kiss me deeply
FLASHBACK
"Kirs let's go! This is a one time only that Parris will have a dance class here and she'll go back to New Zealand" I said to Kirsten dragging her out of the car
"You know I still find it funny that you'll only take vacations here in LA for the dance class then go back to Philippines right away" She replied and I laughed
"You said you wanted to see Parris right?" I asked smiling
"Of course! You'll see one day I'll be at her crew, I'm gonna be one of the youngest, that's how great I'll get" She replied while we're walking down the corridor to the locker room to leave our stuff
I opened the locker box that was assigned to me and place my stuff in
Somebody opened the other locker on the side but my locker door was covering the figure of the person
She sprayed some strong scented perfume around and it was intoxicating, I heard the locker door closed loudly as she walked away adjusting her baseball cap
"God the girl next to my locker almost showered herself with perfume as if someone's gonna sniff her out while dancing" I said to Kirsten and she just laughed
"Maybe she just doesn't wanna smell bad Maddy" Kirsten rolled her eyes laughing
I looked at the girl from earlier she was wearing a mask and baseball cap
Isn't that difficult? She won't be able to breath properly while dancing and her cap will cover her eyes
Why do I care?
We started dancing and after at least an hour or two of Parris teaching us the dance she picked her main dancers, it was Kirsten, me and the girl with the baseball cap
We never introduced ourselves Parris just said dance so we just danced
FLASHBACK END
"Let's get out of here" Bada smiled, and I took her hand running while everyone followed us
Before I enter the car I looked back and everyone is looking at us
I threw my bouquet backwards and turned
Minah catch it out of nowhere and she panicked and handed it to Jackson, which also panicked and handed it to Cate and Cate just waved the bouquet to me smiling so wide
I entered the car and saw Bada sitting beside me
"Ready? Mrs. Lee" She asked smiling
"All set." I smiled widely
