The whole school is preparing for the upcoming sports competition. Posters are being applied to all the walls, supporting their preferred teams. The game is in three days and Minnie's knee was all healed up. She helped her team putting up posters along with Yuqi, Soyeon, and Soojin.
"I'm so excited for the competition." Yuqi said, plastering the poster on the wall.
"Same here, I'm glad Minnie's okay because I don't know if we'd win without her." Soyeon added, helping Soojin put glue on the poster.
"Hey, I'm sure you'll win without me if I'm still injured." Minnie chuckled.
"I agree. You could fill Minnie's spot, Soyeon-ie." Soojin said.
"Soojin, be for real. Minnie's way taller than me, there's no way I can jump that high to hit the ball." Soyeon glared at the Korean. Yuqi laughed, teasing Soyeon about her height.
"Fair point." Soojin laughed.
"Ah Soojin eonnie, are you going to watch the game?" Yuqi asked.
"Of course, Shuhua's playing." Soojin smiled.
"Proud girlfriend, I see." Minnie smiled.
"Yah I'll be watching Soyeon here too!" Yuqi said, pulling the shorter girl and wrapped her arm around Soyeon's shoulder. Soyeon smiled.
"How about Miyeon eonni? Will she be watching?" Soyeon asked.
"Yeah, Minnie. Go tell Miyeon eonni." Yuqi smirked. Minnie glared at the Chinese girl for a split second while Yuqi cheekily smiled.
"I'll tell her." Minnie nodded.
"Great! I hope she's available." Soojin said, she puts the poster on the wall but it's not straight.
"Eonni, you put it wrong!" Yuqi pointed.
"My bad." Soojin removed the poster and fixed it.

Minnie frowned. The three girls noticed Minnie lost her smile.
"You alright, Minnie?" Soojin asked.
"Mhm, Miyeon said she can't come." Minnie answered.
"That's a bummer." Soyeon frowned.
"Don't worry, Minnie. I'll updated her during the game." Soojin smiled.
Minnie reluctantly smiled. Sure she's excited for the game but she wants Miyeon to watch but fate has its own ways. The girls continued to put up posters all around the school.

As the sun rises for the afternoon, casting bright shadows over the volleyball court, the intensity of the second afternoon game heightened. Shuhua, the setter, made a pretty good job setting to Minnie and the other team mates but the opponent's defense is too strong for them.

It felt like her world stopped for a split second. She wants to win now, she wants to make Miyeon proud. Yuqi and Soojin noticed that Miyeon was there, they looked at each other with shock.
"I thought she wasn't coming?" Soojin asked.
"Girl I don't know either!" Yuqi exclaimed.

"FUCK YEAHHHHHHH!!!!!" Yuqi cheered, jumping along with Soojin.
"THEY MADE IT! THEY MADE IT!" Soojin cheered with Yuqi.
Miyeon was happy, she cheered for the team with full of support. Minnie and her team rushed back to their benches with full of joy, Yuqi and Soojin went down to see the other girls.
"CONGRATULATIONS!" Soojin said as she ran towards Shuhua and gave her a hug.
"Thank you! The game was super intense, I thought we would lose." Shuhua hugged the older girl back, feeling victorious both in game and life.
"You did amazing, baby!" Yuqi said, pinching Soyeon's cheeks.
"Yahh that hurts!" Soyeon whined.
Minnie grabbed her bottle to drink. She looked around and see the two couples exchanging their cheers for their girlfriends. She looks around again to look for Miyeon but she was nowhere to be found. She sighed but because of Miyeon, she had hope.
"You were amazing, Minnie." Miyeon suddenly shows up behind Minnie.
"I thought you wouldn't come." Minnie chuckled, wiping her neck with her towel.
"Oh I will, I can't miss your game." Miyeon smiles.
"You know when you showed up, I really did my best to win our team." Minnie added. "You saw us lose, now you saw us win."
Miyeon laughed, covering her mouth. The Thai was drenched in sweat but in her eyes, she looked like the most beautiful girl she ever laid her eyes on.
"You looked like you were out of focus when the game started."
"Ah... Yeah, I was clearly losing hope because the opponent was getting through our defense." Minnie scratched the back of her head.
"What matters is you all did your best. Especially you, captain. I'm proud of you." Miyeon said. Minnie smiled.
Soojin notices that Miyeon was talking to Minnie. She smiled because Miyeon showed up to the game.
"I thought Miyeon wasn't gonna come?" Soyeon asked.
"Same here. She popped up out of nowhere." Yuqi replied.
"The girl couldn't reject Minnie, that she for sure." Shuhua chuckled.
The coach got everyone's attention by clapping their hands, the team listened attentively on what the coach would say.
"Congratulations, everyone! You really did make me proud." The coach clapped, everyone cheered.
"As a reward, I am taking you out for ice cream. My treat." The coach smiled. Everyone cheered again, they all packed their things out of excitement. Miyeon, Soojin, and Yuqi came with the team since Minnie asked if it's okay to bring her friends. The coach approved so everyone can come. They all went to this ice cream shop and ate happily, chatting about the game and cheering for victory.
