"Cheeku! I wanted to ask if I can take Aarya for a short vacation? I want to keep this a surprise only if you are okay with it?" He asks and looked at him a bit scared waiting for his answer.
"Hmm. Vacation?"
"Yes cheeku, Vacation!"
"Where?"
"To Goa actually!" Mahi answered.
"Goa?"
"Yes cheeku! I am sure she will love it there!"
Virat felt some kind of warmth seeing how much he cares for her.
"You are right bhai, she loves Goa!"
"So...?"
"You can take her Bhai!"
"Thank you cheeku! Also a request!"
"What bhai?"
"Let's keep this between us, I actually want to give her a surprise!"
"Aww Bhai! Thike this is a secret!" Virat agreed.
They came back and saw Rohit and Aarya engrossed in the phone.
"Ro? Aaru?" Virat yelled.
No response.
He tried again but same result.
He went and snatched the phone away!
"Viii yaaaaar?" Ro yelled
"Bhaiiiii!! Why???" Aarya joined.
"What why? Huh? Itne ghuse ho phone mein, ki aju baju kya ho raha hai pata bhi nahi hai!"
"Pata hai!" Aarya argued
"Really Aarya? I called you like 5 times, suna?"
"Suna na!" Ro said
"Suna? Why didn't you respond then?"
"We were in a middle of a game!" Aarya answered
"Abhi we lost it because you snatched the phone away!" Ro complained
"OMG you two!" Virat exclaimed.
"What? Didn't let me sleep also, abhi game bhi nahi khelne de rahe humpf!" Aarya said showing fake anger
"He is like that only, Shanti ka dushman!" Rohit joined taking his phone back.
"Huh?" Virat widened his eyes.
Mahi was enjoying the show.
"I'll show you what Shanti ka dushman looks like!" He said in a dangerous tone
He held their ear and twisted them.
"Oww Bhai!!" Aarya whined
"You are proving yourself ki you are Shanti ka dushman!" Ro said
"You two are difficult!" He said leaving their ears.
"We are best!" Aarya said
"Suree!!" Virat said
"What is with you two teaming up against my Cheeku huh?" Mahi said
"He didn't let me sleep!" Aarya said
"And he never lets me sleep!" Ro joined
"So?"
"So? Haw Bhai! Don't take his side!" Ro said
"Exactly Mahi!" Aarya joined
"He will, he loves me more!"
"In your dreams Vi!"
"He loves me more Ro!"
"Enough let's go and sleep!" Mahi said as he knew this was never gonna end
"And you better not forget the deal!" Aarya said narrowing her eyes at Mahi.
"What deal?" Virat asked confused.
"Chocolate pastry and dinner treat! He said he will give me my chocolate pastry!" Aarya said.
Virat face palmed and shaked his head.
"I haven't forgotten Aarya!!" Mahi said laughing.
"Now challo!" Mahi said
"Good night Vi, Aarya!" Ro wished
"Good night Ro!" They said.
Mahi wished good night and hugged them and left.
Virat turned towards Aarya who was giving him sheepish smile.
"Shanti ka dushman, nind ka dushman? Huh? Masti sujh rahi thi? Deal banana hai? Revenge huh?" He said in a fake dangerous tone and went towards her. Before she could run away he caught her by her arms and trapped her in his arms.
"Masti sujh rahi thi madam ko huh?" Virat said faking anger.
"Bola na aapko satane mein maja ata hai! You look cute when angry!" She said laughing.
He made faces at her.
"I love you Bhai! I am always gonna be on your side bhai!" Aarya said
"I know that kiddo! I love you bachaa!" Virat said and kissed her forehead.
"Now chalo sleep! You need to pack your bags tomorrow!"
"Why?"
"You and Mahi are going somewhere!"
"Where?"
"You'll come to know!"
"Tell na!"
"You'll know when you go!"
"But bhaii!"
"No buts go sleep!"
She lied down confused and wondering about the place.
She shifted her head on Virat's chest and slept wrapping her arms around him like a small baby.
He held her close engulfed her in a hug.
Next day, Virat woke her up and helped her pack her bags.
"Bhai, tell na where am I going?" She asked again
"You'll know bacha, have some patience kiddo!"
"Bhai but, I don't wanna leave you!"
"It's a matter of 3 days, then we will go back to Pune okay?"
Aarya pouted.
"Bachaa, I am always going to be here for you kiddo! Have fun, I promise you'll love this trip!" He said.
"Fine!" She said and just hugged him hiding her face in his shoulder.
"That's like my baby!" Virat said hugging her.
After breakfast Mahi came to their room.
"Ready Bhai?" Virat asked as he opened the door!
"Yes cheeku!" Mahi answered with a smile.
"Look how happy you are bhai!"
"I am Cheeks!" He said
Virat gave him a hug.
"Bhai, I am so happy for both of you!"
"Thank you Cheeku!" Mahi said.
Till then Aarya came out of the washroom.
"Are you ready bacha?" Virat asked
"Yes bhai! I am ready!"
"Let's leave?" Mahi asked
"Okay!" Aarya said
"Happy Journey both of you! Have fun!" Virat wished them.
Aarya took her bags and they left.
"Mahii?" Aarya asked.
"Yes Aaru?"
"Where are we going?" She asked not able to contain her curiosity.
Mahi grineed seeing her curiosity.
"Oh, I don't know, Aarya. Maybe we're going to a deserted island where treasure is buried!"
"Yaar Mahi, tell na seriously!"
Alright, alright," Mahi chuckled. "Maybe we're going to a secret hideout of pirates!"
Aarya laughed, "Yeah, right! And you're the captain!"
Mahi pretended to be offended, placing a hand over his heart. "How dare you doubt my pirate skills?"
Aarya couldn't help but giggle, "Fine, Captain Mahi, where are you taking me?"
Mahi winked playfully, "Sorry, matey, can't reveal the secret location just yet. It's all part of the adventure!"
Aarya couldn't help but play along with Mahi's pirate joke. "Alright, Captain Mahi, lead the way to the treasure!"
Mahi chuckled, "Aye, aye, First Mate Aarya! Hoist the sails and set a course for adventure!"
Aarya joined in, "Arrr, matey! We are brave pirates, fearless and bold!"
Mahi raised an imaginary spyglass to his eye. "Land ho! The treasure must be buried somewhere on yonder shore!"
Aarya pointed dramatically, "Avast, me hearties! Prepare to disembark and claim the treasure as our own!"
They both burst into laughter.
"Aaru, I promise you are going to love this!" Mahi said
"Yes Mahi, I trust you with that!" Aarya said with a genuine smile.
Mahi smiled.
They had their lunch at a dhaba on the highway.
As they neared Goa, they stopped by the tea stall in the ghats!
As the sun dipped behind the mountains, the sky was painted in hues of orange and pink, casting a warm glow over the landscape.
"Mahi, look, the sky looks so beautiful!" She said sipping her tea.
"Yes it is, just like you, Aaru!"
Aarya felt a surge of warmth and love, she stood up on toes and planted a kiss on his cheeks!
Mahi gave a cute smile and slid his arm around her shoulder and held her close. She rested her head on his shoulder and sipped her tea.
"Chale?" Mahi asked
"Chaloo!"
As they entered Goa, Aarya's eyes lit up!!
"Goa? We came to Goa? This was the surprise???" She squealed excitedly, with a 440 volt smile on her face!
Mahi looked at her with a smile on his face!
"Yes Aaru! You like it?"
"Ofcourse, this is my favourite place!! I love Goa!" She said as she couldn't contain the excitement.
She wished to give him a hug but couldn't as he was driving!
Mahi held her hand and kissed.
They reached the hotel and after completing the formalities they were allotted room.
She jumped on Mahi, he was used to this because of Cheeku and Rohit or he would have lost his balance.
"Thank you so much Mahi!!!" She said.
"I am so happy that you loved this!" He said holding her close!
"I wanted to come here since when!!"
Mahi didn't say anything just hugged her letting her release her excitement.
"Wanna go for a walk till the beach?" Mahi asked once she calmed down.
"Yess chaloooo!" Aarya said her eyes twinkling.
"Chaloo!" Mahi said.
They made their way towards the seaside.
The moon cast a shimmering pathway across the waves, its reflection dancing on the gentle ripples. The only sound was the soft lapping of the waves against the shore.
Aarya closed her eyes taking in the cool salty sea breeze, feeling as if it was calming her nerves.
Mahi looked at her content and happy after a long time!
"Aaru?" He called her softly
She turned and looked at him with a smile present on her face!
"Yes?" She asked
"Feeling better?"
"What happened to me?" She asked
"Nothing, just asking!"
"I am fine Mahi!" She said wrapped her arms around Mahi.
He too wrapped his arms around her.
"I love you Aarya!" He whispered
"I love you too Mahi!" She replied.
They just kept staring at the sea!
"Let's go have dinner! It's been a long day!" Mahi said
"Haa na let's go!!"
After updating Virat about their arrival in Goa, they had their dinner and retired to their rooms.
"Good night Aaruu!" Mahi wished
"Good night Mahi!" She wished back.
She slept holding his hand! And Mahi patted her head putting her to sleep.
