Jennie opened the front door for Lisa, a sad gaze on her face as she stepped aside, allowing her in.
"I brought some hot chocolate and donuts." Lisa held the bag up, stepping into the cozy house.
"Thanks Lili. Perhaps this can cheer me up while we wrap the kids' gifts." Jennie sent her a sad smile.
Then taller girl nodded her head. "I've been trying to think of some options we can have to make sure these kids stay together."
"I talked to my mom today about it, but she says there aren't many other options left. Besides them getting adopted by the same family, she thinks it's time for us to prepare them to be separated."
Jennie bit her bottom lip harshly, trying to suppress a sob from leaving her mouth, but she fell in her arms, crying as she had done the night before.
"Hey, we'll think of something. We won't give up on these kids. There has to be something we can do to help." Lisa patted her back.
"I promised them that I would never give up, and I would protect them at all costs. I feel like I'm failing them as a friend, as a parent." Jennie muttered.
Jennie wrapped her arm around Lisa's waist, her ear listening in on the other girl's heartbeat. "Let's just make this the best Christmas ever for them."
Jennie nodded her head still snuggled in her arms. "We should start wrapping the gifts, huh?"
"Yeah, but first you must let me go so we can begin." Lisa pointed out.
Jennie reluctantly pulled away, a small pout forming on her lips. "Okay, but you give the best hugs. Your hugs are warm and comfortable."
"You don't have to lie. Just admit that you like being in my arms."
"I just did." Jennie rolled her eyes, taking the bag of donuts out of Lisa's hand. "Let's get started. We have a lot of gift-wrapping to do."
Jisoo walked into her sister's room where Lisa was seated with Jennie wrapping gifts.
"I figured you two could use some lunch since you've been up here wrapping presents all day." Jisoo carried the plates of food to Lisa and Jennie.
"Thank you. These smells delicious." Lisa hummed at the dish Jisoo had cooked. "Are you single? I could use a pretty girl who knows how to cook." She joked.
Jisoo grinned, softly tapping her shoulder. "If I was single, I would definitely let you get into my panties." She playfully winked before leaving.
Jennie scoffed, placing the food into her mouth. "I see you flirt with both of my sisters. Pick a sister and stick to it."
"I've already picked one. You're my main. Nobody in the world can compare to your beautiful ass, not even your sisters who are your carbon copies." Lisa said boldly.
Jennie blushed, her eyes moving away from her ex-girlfriend. "We only have a few more presents then we're done. You have anything planned for afterward?"
Lisa shook her head. "Tonight is game night at my brother's house, so he wants me to stop by, also Rosé wants me to try a new recipe she has discovered. I probably won't be there long since I'm tired."
"Let's finish up here then I'll walk you out." Jennie tossed her the roll of tape.

Lisa placed on her jacket, getting ready to leave and head to her brother's abode for game night.
"Zip up your coat. It's freezing out there." Jennie zips Lisa's coat up for her. "Be careful driving too because the roads are a little icy tonight."
"Yes, honey." Lisa joked as Jennie wrapped a scarf around the taller girl's neck. "Whose scarf is this?"
"It's mine. This scarf is thick, so it'll keep you warm around the neck since you don't want to wear a hat or a jacket with a hood." Jennie replied.
"I gave my hat to Louis for your information." She wrapped her arms around Jennie. "Thanks for taking care of me. If I didn't know better, I would say you like me, but I don't know better, so ignore me." She kidded.
Jennie bit her bottom lip, opening the front door as she pulled Lisa out on the front porch, shutting the door behind her.
"Girl, get back in the house. It's freezing out here -" She were shut up when Jennie pulled her down, meeting her in a kiss.
The kiss was timely, and Jennie was the first to pull away. She looked up at Lisa and slowly retracted to the house.
"Bye." She quickly waved, closing the front door.
Lisa stood at the front door shocked at first, but as her sense came to her head, a smile pulled on her face.
"Wow!" Lisa smiled as she touched her lips.

Getting to her brother's house, she sat at the table, quietly in her own world as she sipped on a beer.
"It's your turn Lisa." Her brother softly nudged her, bringing her attention back to the game.
She nodded, tossing out a card which is snatched up quickly. "Rummy!" Bambam called out. "That was a wild card you just threw out."
"Oh, my bad." She shrugged. "I wasn't paying much attention to the game."
Her brother tossed in his hand. "Clearly. You're not into the games tonight. What's going on with you Lisa?" He sipped on his beer.
"Nothing. I've been hanging out with the kids at the orphanage, helping Jennie and her sisters deal with them, so I'm tired." She admitted.
Kai scoffed. "I bet that's the worst part of trying to get her to marry you. She's involved in them, damn kids so much." He rolled his eyes.
Lisa shook her head. "I don't mind. I love the kids just as much. They're a good group of kids who need love and someone who cares."
"You're playing the role really well." Kai clapped his hands. "You won't have to pretend much longer. I'm buying that shitty house, and she won't have any choice but to be a good spouse."
Lisa frowned, her brows drawing together in a thin line. "Are you serious?!? You're the one who's ruining the orphanage for the kids! Why?!?"
A smirk washed over Kai's face as he crossed his arms, leaning back in the chair cockily.
"You're trying to win her over for the bet, but I plan on winning her back permanently since Jennie does love me." Kai cockily shrugged.
"Without the little rascals in the way, she'll pay more attention to us as a couple and realize that it's me she truly wants." He added. "She's not a mom, she's a spouse and she need to start acting like it."
"Are you a fucking idiot?!!" Lisa leaped out of her chair, glaring down at the man at the opposite end of the table. "You're ruining these kids' lives!"
Kai laughed. "Who fucking cares? They're not your kid or hers. She acts like she's their mother. She and her sisters."
"Because they care for someone other than themselves, unlike you!" Lisa shot back. "She's never going to forgive you for this."
"You know nothing. Jennie loves me!" Kai stood up, meeting her in an intense stare down.
"I know when she finds out you did this, she's going to hate you as much as I do right now. Even if you had a chance with her, which you didn't, you just ruined it."
She snatched her jacket from the back of the chair, seething with anger. "I'm out of here. I love you Bam, but as your sister, you should find better friends. As in B.E.T.T.E.R. F.R.I.E.N.D.S. N.O.W. Also please tell Rosé I'll drop by next time to bond with her."
Lisa stalked toward the front door, slamming it as she walked to her car. "What a fucking loser!" She yelled out irately.
