Everyone went to freshen up and came back for dinner. While waiting for food getting served, everyone sat on the couch gossiping.
Namjoon: "So, how did her friends' visit go this morning?"
Taehyung: "Her friends came over and stayed till lunch. She had a fight with Jay and Jake."
Jimin: "At first, she seemed really happy to see them, but then I don't know what really happened. At first, Y/n said something rude to Jay, so he went home in anger."
Jin: (serious) "Is it that serious? Y/n really needs to control her mouth. Even yesterday, she was talking rudely with Jungkook."
Suga: (nervous) "Chill, Jin Hyung. Isn't it normal to fight while playing? And in friendship, sometimes, we say some rude things."
Namjoon: "I agree with Suga Hyung, and Y/n is lucky to have friends like Jay and Jake. We are more like family, isn't it?"
Taehyung: (smiles) "I am just happy she is doing well now."
J-Hope: "Me too."
Jungkook: (laughing) "Me three."
Jimin: (Nodding in agreement) "Yeah. She needs to focus on her studies and getting better."
The maid informed everyone that food is served, and everyone got up from their seats.
Jin: "I'll go and wake up our little sleeping beauty."
Everyone nodded, and Jin went upstairs and entered your room. You were curled up, sleeping peacefully.
Jin: (ruffling your hairs) "Princess, wake up. It's dinner time."
You opened your eyes and sat up puzzled, rubbing your eyes.
Jin (smile): "Let's go down for dinner; everyone is waiting for you."
Y/n: "Huh? Dinner time already?"
Jin: "Yes, baby. And you need to take your medicine."
Y/n took her medicine, making a face at the bitter taste.
Jin: "That's my good girl. Now, let's go join the others."
At Backyard,
Today everyone decided to have dinner outside for a change, so everyone was sitting on chairs arranged in the backyard. Everyone was talking about their patients, but everything was going above your head, so Namjoon changed the topic.
Namjoon: "So, Princess, did you get a chance to make friends with hospital staff and other patients?"
Y/n: "No, I only talked with that nurse, but then you all came!"
J-Hope: (sarcastic) "When was she supposed to talk with others? She was angry at us the whole time."
Taehyung: (sarcastic) "Yeah, you did give us a hard time with your fear of shots."
Y/n: (nervous smile) "I may have caused a little ruckus... but you know how scared I am of shots!"
Jin: (chuckled) "A little ruckus, huh? You have been quite the show for other doctors and nurses that day."
Jimin: (laughing) "I bet they'll remember you throughout their life."
Jungkook: (teasing) "And I'm sure you're still the talk of the hospital."
Y/n: (annoyed) "Yaah Oppa!"
Suga: (teasing) "I clearly remember a few years back you were trying to escape the room after seeing an injection and then fell down, started crying like a baby!"
J-hope: (teasing) "I can still picture every time you try to run away from the injection!"
Jungkook: (teasing) "I remember you negotiated for fewer shots, didn't you? But too bad, poor Y/n."
Y/n: (pout) "Oppa, you are so mean!"
Namjoon: (laughing) "Do anyone remember the time when she was literally begging us not to take her to the hospital? Y/n even tried to bribe us with Jake mom's famous homemade cookies."
Y/n: "Hey! Those cookies are delicious!"
Jin: (serious) "They are, but they're not worth risking your health."
Suga: "And besides, you know that injections are necessary sometimes. We can't skip them."
J-hope: "Yeah, and they're not even that bad. I promise!"
Jungkook: "Yeah, and Hobi Hyung is right. They're just a little prick."
Y/n: (mumbled) "That's what they all say!"
Taehyung: "But it's true! I mean, have you ever seen me complain when I get a shot?"
Y/n: (serious) "Yes. You whined for hours after you got your flu shot last year."
Taehyung: (nervous) "Hey! That's not true!"
Jungkook: (laughing) "Sure it is. You even tried to hide under your bed."
Taehyung: (angry pout) "I did not!"
Jimin: (laughing) "Oh, yes you did. And Jin Hyung had to drag you out by your feet."
Taehyung: (embarrassed) "Okay, maybe I did a little bit."
Y/n: (proud) "See? Even the toughest of us are afraid of needles sometimes."
Jin: (calm) "Well, to be fair, you're not the only one in the family who's afraid of needles. Suga and Jimin are both pretty bad too."
Suga: (whining) "Hey!"
Jimin: (whining) "Yeah, we're not that bad!"
Jin: (nervous) "Alright, alright. But you're still not as bad as Y/n."
Jungkook (Laughing): "For sure."
Namjoon (Laughing): "That's true."
Y/n (Pout): "But come on Oppa, I am younger, cut me some slack!"
Jhope: (pinching the nose) "Younger or not, we're still gonna tease you about it."
Taehyung: (laughing) "Yeah, it's our job as older brothers."
Jin: (serious) "Oh, we're not giving you any slack, Y/n. You are our little sister; we love you but we're also doctors, and we know what's best for you. And sometimes, that means getting shots."
Suga: (smirk) "Even if you don't like them,"
J-hope: (serious) "But we're glad you're feeling better now and we're always here for you, no matter what."
Jungkook: (teasing) "Yeah, even when you're being a pain in the Neck."
Y/n: (punching his arm) "Yaah! I'm not a pain in the neck!"
Namjoon: (teasing) "Yes, you are, but we love you anyway."
But suddenly, Namjoon's expression turned serious.
Namjoon: (serious) "Princess, do you know how scared we were when we found out about your condition? And your stubbornness didn't make it easy for us."
Taehyung: "Yeah, baby. You were so stubborn and refused to listen to us. You didn't understand how serious your injury was, and you put yourself at risk."
Y/n: (nervous) "I know, but you don't understand how terrified I am of needles. It's like a phobia and I'm trying. But it's not easy."
Jimin: "Baby, we know you're scared of needles, but you have to take care of yourself. You can't just keep running away from your problems."
Suga: (sigh) "You were putting your health at risk, Y/n. We couldn't stand by and watch that."
Jungkook: (rubbing your back) "I remember being so angry that day, seeing you refuse treatment. It felt like you didn't care about yourself."
Y/n: (looking down) "I know, oppa. I'm so sorry. I was so scared, and I didn't know what to do."
Namjoon: (holding your hand) "It's alright, baby, just promise us that next time you won't be so stubborn. We can't bear to see you suffer."
Y/n: (sad) "I promise, next time I'll try to be more cooperative."
Namjoon hugged you tightly, and for a moment, everything was still. Then, Namjoon cleared his throat.
Namjoon: "So, who's up for dessert?"
Everyone laughed, and the conversation turned lighter. But you would never forget the look of anger and worry on your brothers' faces. You had been stubborn, but they had never given up on you.
Jin: "That's all we ask for, Princess. We love you, and we want you to be healthy and happy."
Suga: "And not giving us heart attacks in the process."
After a brief pause, they exchanged mischievous glances and decided to prank her. Taehyung started and the others followed.
Taehyung: "Speaking of shots, Y/n, don't forget you have a routine checkup and vaccination at the hospital tomorrow!"
Y/n: (panic) "Wait, what? Tomorrow? Isn't it every 3 months, and why didn't anyone tell me about that early?"
Jin: "Oh, it got slipped from our minds. But don't worry, we'll make sure you will reach on time."
Y/n: (scared) "Oh, please, not again!"
Suga: (sarcastic) "Maybe this time, you'll break your record for the most dramatic reaction to a shot."
Jungkook: (laughed) "I'll make sure to bring some popcorn to enjoy the show."
Y/n: (whining) "You guys are the worst!"
Namjoon: (teasing) "Don't worry, we'll be there to hold your hand, Y/n."
Jungkook: (teasing) "Yeah, we wouldn't want you trying to escape again."
Suga: (teasing) "And maybe we can convince the nurses to give you a sticker afterward."
Y/n: (pout) "You guys are impossible!"
Namjoon: (acting serious) "Wake up on time; your appointment is at 10 am."
Y/n: (nervous) "Does that mean I have to go to that scary place again?"
Jin: (calm) "Baby, what is scary in that? It's just a matter of a couple of hours."
Y/n: (on the verge of crying) "But you all promised to treat me at home."
Namjoon: (acting serious) "Yeah, we did promise, but we can't skip routine checkup; it has to be done in the hospital."
J-hope: (acting serious) "Yeah, and it's going to be twice as many as last time."
Suga: (acting serious) "You know, Y/n, since you were so stubborn about those shots, we've decided that you'll be getting special treatment tomorrow."
Y/n (Eyes widened): "Special treatment? What do you mean?"
Jungkook: "Oh, you'll see. We've been practicing our needle skills."
Y/n: (crying) "Oppaaaaa, no please! I don't want to go there and don't want an injection too."
Jin: (worried) "Baby, don't cry; I am sorry we are joking."
Namjoon: (wiping your tears) "Why would we do that to you? Stop crying; we were just pranking."
Suga: (smile) "No one is taking you to the hospital, so don't worry."
Y/n: (sighed in relief) "Oppa, I can't believe you'd tease me like that."
Taehyung: (laugh) "But it was fun to see the look on your face!"
Jin: "Now, let's eat; the ice-cream is melting."
