I manage to avoid Daniel after class, he didn't even try to pursue me once it was over. He just got up and left.
Strange.
I head back to the dorm rooms.
Stopping outside Harpers room, I knock on her door.
"Lil," she squeals as she opens the door.
I step in, throwing myself into her arms,
"Johnathon's throwing a party tonight and Jake has invited us, you keen?" I ask.
"Hell yeah! I'll bring Blade," she states.
If Blade comes then Daniel will most definitely be there. I feel a sense of frustration come over me.
"So... you gonna bring lover boy? Harper asks winking like a fool.
"No, there is nothing between us anymore." I state.
"Wait.. what are you saying? He is your mate." She begs me, confused.
"He's too obsessive and jealous. I need space." I tell her shaking my head.
"You are only going to hurt yourself if you try and hurt him." She states.
"What is that meant to mean?" I spit, annoyed at her statement.
"You are mates, the more you ignore it the more pain it causes. Just let him mark you already." She demands cheerfully.
"I'll see you tonight." I say as I turn to leave not wanting to hear anymore.
I hope Daniel isn't too possessive tonight.
I think as I pull out a pair of jeans to wear to the party tonight.
Daniel is so rude to Jake, it's so frustrating.
An idea suddenly pops into my head and walk over to my closet. Flipping through my dresses I stop at one.
This one will sure piss Daniel off.
I think to myself feeling mischievous.
Walking over to my vanity I begin applying my make up and doing my hair.
A while later I hear a knock at my door.
I can easily sense it was Harper.
Must be a werewolf thing?
Upon opening the door Harper's mouth drops to the floor.
"Lily!" She exclaims, "you look, you look gorgeous!"
I smile in appreciation.
Let the torture begin.
I smile as I think to myself.
