I wake up around midnight since I went to sleep around four thirty earlier, I quietly tiptoe out of bed, grab one of my blue hoodies and old trackies and slip them over my pajamas, when I turn to look at Valentina I see she isn't there, checking all the other girls' beds I see none of them are there. What the hell? I grab my wand and my Marauders Map. I carefully pull the map out of my back pocket tapping my wand to it and whisper,
"I solemnly swear I'm up no good," as the map comes to life and almost everyone is in the great hall or the teachers are in their rooms, other than Flitch. Opening the window I climb out onto the roof knowing this way I won't get caught, I look at the map and make my to the teacher's corridor. After ten minutes of walking on the roof, I push the window up and climb through with a smirk thinking about tomorrow morning, just as I am about to pull out my notes I hear a scream.
"STUDENT OUT OF BED!" Peeves screams as I turn around to look at him with a glare,
"Shut up,"
"Why?" he questions,
"Cause I'm trying to pull a prank you couldn't even dream off dead man," I grit still glaring at him,
"Eh? STUDEN..." The rest of his sentence is cut off as I whisper
"Waddiwasi," I say remembering Remus' spell, and gum comes flying from around the corner and shoots up in his nose, as he howls in pain floating away,
"Idiot," I whisper to myself, pulling my notes out I read out one of the spells I came up with earlier, "Volniflu," pointing my wand at the painting beside Snape's. I open my eyes slowly and see Professor Flitwick asleep, I do a quick once over of the room, seeing it full of books and covered in notes and dust, What a shock, I think rolling my eyes before pointing my wand at the floor and muttering the jink I made up, and back away to the door watching the magic happen. Smirking at my masterpiece I quietly open the door and step out, moving to each and every one of the teachers' rooms minus Snape, Let them think it's a Slytherin I guess, shrugging knowing the real reason is that I feel bad for him, and don't want him to relive what my dad and uncles put him through, and make my way back to bed the way I came.
My alarm starts blaring and goes flying off my bedside table as I whack it,
"No, fuck off," I mumble sleepily burying myself deeper under the covers, and it continues to buzz around the room, grumbling a line of curses I walk over to my trunk and grab my stuff, walking into the bathroom, I quickly change into a black singlet, one of my blue hoodies, leather pants, boots, Gryffindor robe and grab my tie and just drop it around my neck. Quickly running my fingers through my hair and neatening it, I walk out yawning,
"What classes do we have today," I ask moving to my tote bag and trunk where all my new books are, and placing them in my bag. Not hearing an answer I turn around to see none of the girls are in their beds, "What the fuck?" I mumble before walking out to the common room to see it completely barron.
"This is not normal," I grumble now on edge before walking to the exit and pushing the back of the fat lady's painting, trying again I ram into with my shoulder and it doesn't budge, "Fuck this!" I yell before storming to one of the windows and climb out angry then climb in the next window I see and start walking to The Great Hall.
"Thank Godric!" Harry yells running forward and bringing me into a tight hug, I stumble back and freeze completely confused,
"Hi?" I say full of confusion before Harry lets me go and looks over me, "What are you doing?"
"Making sure our not hurt," he states when I feel a hard whack over the back of the head before being consumed in another hug,
"DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT EVER AGAIN!" Hermione screams pulling back holding my shoulders looking me dead in the eye,
"I am so confused. Why is everyone worried?" I ask looking at the girls and Harry,
"Pettigrew broke into the castle and destroyed the Fat Lady's Portrait. We thought he had taken you," Harry says still looking to see if there is a single scratch on me while I freeze in shock but that shock quickly turns to frustration, Fucking idiot Peet, I sigh before explaining where I was, and how I had gone to the dorms before everyone got back and fell asleep. How the portrait wouldn't open and told them I climb through the window.
"Can't get enough of climbing through windows," Harry jokes when I'm finished and bumbs my shoulder as we all sit down,
"Good to see you're not shivering anymore," Nathan says sarcastically when we sit down,
"Ha ha your soooo funny," I reply rolling my eyes,
"What is he talking about?" Lavender asks curiously,
"I definitely didn't play secret or dare with Nathan and Harry, and totally didn't get dared to go swimming in the Lake," I say teasingly looking at Lavender,
"WHAT?!" they all yell turning their heads towards me and stopping in their tracks, I stand there explaining how yesterday really went, with James and Sirius kidnapping me, Diagon Alley minus how I thought Harry was feeling my pain, them telling me to make an effort with Harry, and Secert or dare with the boys.
"Where's all the teachers?" I hear Hermione ask Ron as I finish telling them about my dare, Nathan looks at the table, and where none of the teachers are sitting,
"Who knows," Nathan replies from beside Ron. After a while of talking screams are heard from outside The Great Hall's doors as they slam open showing a very very blue staff,
"FRED AND GEORGE WEASLEY!" Minnie yells as everyone stops to stare at her in shock before breaking out laughing at the staff, even Fred and George look scared as they stand up and walk over to Minnie,
"You will undo this prank now," she orders looking sternly at the two,
"Even if we..."
"Could we wouldn't..."
"But we didn't do this..."
"I wish we did..." Fred and George alternate looking at Minnie and look genuinely sad at the last bit,
"Fine then, NATHAN BLACK!" she yells as Nathan scurries up beside the twins looking terrified, You didn't even do anything and you're shitting our pants, I think shaking my head,
"Is this your doing?" she questions sternly,
"No, but I'm glad it's not cause I would be shitting myself," he says,
"You already are!" I yell and he turns to glare at me before looking back at Minnie,
"NATHAN BLACK!" three voices yell from down the hall as James, Remus, and Sirius walk in blue as well, "We gave you one rule we don't care if you do pranks at school but the one fucking rule was you don't prank us at school!" Remus yells looking at Nathan as most students look shocked at the professor's confession,
"And this is also why I didn't do it, I am shit scared of those three," he says looking at Minnie as she sighs rubbing her temples,
"Professor Lupin that language is not appropriate," Minnie sighs, "Artemis Potter please come forward," she calls, and I get up and strut over to Minnie,
"Hey, how come she screamed at us?" Fred and George say together,
"Yes, Minnie?" I respond standing in front of her,
"Is this your doing?" she says pointing to the staff,
"No and how come I'm accused I haven't done anything to deserve it?" I question with a fake annoyed tone, knowing it 100% was me,
"You're James Potter's kid I had to ask," she answers, I look up at her in confusion knowing I am not his only kid, "And I didn't ask Harry because he's too clumsy and would have been caught in the middle of doing the prank," she explains,
"Hold on, my son can so do pranks. Not as good as this put STILL!" James yells looking offended,
"You and Sirius should be on patrol goodbye," Minnie says dismissing what he said, "All of you go sit down," we all mumble thanks before returning to our seats.
"I can't believe she accused you like that," Lavender huffs,
"And all Gryffindor students, how low does she think of her own house," Parvati continues,
"Pretty low, it's pathetic it was obviously a..." Valentina trails off looking at someone who entered the hall and whispers break out,
"Slytherin," they all finish, and their eyes trail Snape as he sits down at the teacher's table untouched, pale as normal.
"Yeah a Slytherin," I say before I start eating, hearing people whispering about Hogwarts mystery prankster, Look out Hogwarts, I think smirking down at my plate, Just wait for next term.
