3rd person's POV:
A week passed after that drunken incident happened. The air between Tay and New has always been heavy since after that. The hair fall of Toy's has been increased due to seeing his boss working overtime. He still doesn't know what had happened between the boss and his bodyguard. The termination letter of New's contact has already been sent to the Tay. But looking at his boss's demeanor these days, he doesn't dare to ask about it.
That day, Tay was almost sure New won't come back. But to his surprise, later that night he came back. Tay stood in front of the door holding that termination letter that was faxed by his secretary. But he couldn't just barge into the room and hand this letter saying that he doesn't need to come back. But Tay just couldn't do that. And he don't know why.
The company always holds a grand party inviting their investors and other businessmen. It is also a way to gather information about other companies, to know each other, to build up strong relationships.
The day of that event finally came. The night was a little bit chilly as winter is knocking at the door. Tay was in his luxurious blue suit just reached the party along with Toy and New. As they entered the hall, New didn't go with them . He just stood separately eyeing his boss afar.
"Young men, you finally came," Mr Wayer greeted him.
"I'm so sorry,Mr Wayer. You know the traffic of Bangkok. I'm a bit late," Tay said apologetically.
Behind Mr Wayer, Joss waved at him uninterested but was more enthusiastic towards Tay's secretary.
"Toy! It has been so long since we met."
"Eh? But we had met the day before yesterday Mr Joss," Toy said puzzled.
"Was it? But it felt so long. Anyways come come let's go somewhere else," Joss literally dragging Toy.
"Bu-but my bo_"
"Stop thinking about your boss just one day. That jerk is already occupied by the older people. Come on come on let's goooo."
Toy was helplessly dragged by and only able to sigle New to watch over the boss.
The security was really tight here. The guards are present in every corner. Even though, people are keep eyeing one particular guard.
New was wearing all black suit prim and proper. His jet black hair, sharp eyes, pointed nose, pale skin giving him different vibes. Because he's too white to hide, that is his face is glowing even though he is in the dark.
The night becomes more lively as time goes by. People are dancing, laughing chatting and eating. New could no longer find his boss into the waves of people that he had to stepped in now. He is looking here and there just have a glimpse of him.
"....... I already told you it's this way sir. Why don't you just go in?"Toy said uncomfortably to the person in from.
"Aiyo look at this old men, I already drink so much that I couldn't even walk properly what if I slip and fall? Come on come on just take me to the washroom, okay?" The men that is calling himself old is definitely not that old.
"Th-That sir..." Toy was simply being unwilling and New clearly knows why.
"Let me take you there."
As if knight in shining armour, New came to the rescue. He took off the arm that uncontrollably touching Toy.
"Mr Tawan..."he just say the name.
"Oh oh don't worry about him. He and Mr Joss are having competiton," Toy gesture of shots with his hand. New immediately understood.
"Come on sir, let's go."
"Eh? Um ...that,"that so called old man didn't have the time to refuse.
The washroom was end of the corridor. New simply stopped in front of the door gesturing the cubicle inside,
"Now you may go sir."
That man's expression suddenly changed. He put on a really ugly smile and started to touch New's hand.
New knew what he was dealing. It was just an excuse to go to the washroom.
"What do you mean by go? You see I'm drunk. I might fall anytime soon."
That man's hand already started to roam his stomach which New avoided while stepping back.
"You must've been workout to have such fine muscles. You're actually better than the other one. I like the young people like you know. Your boss don't even value you," and then started touching again.
The reason why New is being tolerating this because he saw this man several times in the company. This guy is going to invest huge amount for the project that Tay's company owns. He just don't want to make any problems for his boss.
Or else he could just break his hyoid bone with his bare hands, giving this man an instant death. New snapped out of his own thoughts.
'i can't just simply kill people like this. After all I'm living in a society now.'
That man couldn't smell New's bloodlust because he was full of unholy thoughts. New tightly restrains this man's hand to stop to go down more farther.
New took a huge step, backing away from him.
"It looks like you don't need my help as you're fully sobar. So if you excuse me."
New doesn't even bother to bow at him and just about to turn around until.... that man hastily grabbed his hand.
"Excuse you?! No way! You see I'm pretty much interested in you. I saw you quite a few times in the office. That boss of yours definitely doesn't treasure someone as precious as you. He is such a young and ignorant brat who is so full of himself. Come on don't be afraid. Just give me some good times."
"The way my boss treat me shouldn't be your concern sir. Be careful what you say in front of me," New said coldly.
Tay might be rude to New but he isn't some kind of ignorent brat. He have the sense to respect others. Also care about his employees even though he never showed to them. At lest he isn't a perverted person like this old bastard in front of him.
The scenes of that drunken night appears in New's mind. How much he struggles to break free but his boss ended up kissing him to senseless.
'well maybe sometimes?' New thought.
(A/N: New means Tay as being perverted sometime.)
"Oh my ain't this boy a loyal one? But do you think that your so-called boss will care about you? My company is bigger than his. Your boss is the one who begged me to invest in his project. I can cancel it anytime soon. I only have to give your name as a reason. Do you think your boss will let you go?"
New didn't say anything. Loyal? No. He is not loyal or anything. His whole life is made of lie. Being loyal to someone at this point will be just a joke.
The snake like hand was again to swarming on New's body.
"If you want to be loyal, you can be with me. I'll give you the reward of your loyalty."
Saying that he's already begin to unfasten his belt. The little bit of patience that New had was snap. He doesn't care what will happen after his action. He doesn't care what will his boss think. He need to make this man to shut. And he can just do it without killing him.
New moved his hand just to strike him unconscious but on that milliseconds a gush if wind flowed the right side of him. The wind was none other then but Tay. He heavily collide to that old man, made him fall to the ground.
That man groaned in pain.
"Oh Mr Thana? Sorry I was so much in hurry that I didn't saw you," a total lie.
"Y-You ...you .."
"By the way I need to get my man because my company is in fire," Tay said happily.
'Is it something good news that you have to showing your teeth '
New thought.
Tay didn't even waste a second and grabbed New's hand literally dragging him out of the hall. The music, laughter, food aroma and smell of alcohol. They passed through everything. When Toy informed Tay about Mr Thana how he was inappropriately touched by him and New came just to saved him. Tay just couldn't stay there and instantly rushed to the scene.
The scene that unfolded him was made his blood boiled.
"Mr Tawan...."
"WHY?!...." Tay roared at him but instantly tried to calm his nerves.
"Why did you let him touch you?"
The grips on New's hand tighten more. The blood that couldn't even flow properly throughout the body stuck at the palm.
".... I can't just beat him like that. After all he's an important client of yours."
"ARE YOU....So you are going to do anything that bastard would tell you? Huh?"
Tay couldn't control his anger as he took step towards New. This sudden closer made New flinched a bit. As if some old wound just pry open. But New concealed it with his years worth face control.
"I was just doing my job . If I behave inappropriately , your contract with that client might be in danger. Your reputation was also on line. I can't just act recklessly. After all, our contract was to protect you from any kind of harm. Even though I was about to strike....."
"THE HECK WITH THAT CONTRACT! WHO CARES ABOUT THAT PIECE OF PAPER?! YOU...... don't let other people to strip your dignity. Don't let other people touch you. You're more important than that freaking contract!"
Both of them were shocked after the last line. Tay instantly took step behind, finally letting New's hand. New subconsciously creased his bruised wrist.
"Sorry.... sorry about the sudden outburst."
It's as if the last line wasn't enough that he had put another bomb .
' Does my ears ringing? Why am I hearing him saying sorry? The great Tay Tawan saying sorry?'
There's chaos inside of New's head. The silence between them getting more awkward. Tay was kinda embarrassed for what he said just now. After few seconds Tay turned his heels without saying anything and walked hurriedly to the parking lot. New also didn't waste a second and went after him.
He unlock the car with the key and Tay went straight to the passenger seat. New shut the door after he sat inside the car. In the car it was more awkward. Both of them thinking different things about the same situation. So New thought he should break the silence.
"Actually, I prepared to knock him out earlier. He was crossing the line saying bad things about you. He also said something about cancelling your project if I don't cooperate with him. So I thought about shutting his mouth."
Tay finally looked at him with a new discovery.
"He said bad things about me?" Tay asked.
"Yes." New reply.
"That's why you were so angry."
New was a bit confused. He never mentioned being angry.
"....No Mr Tawan. He was just crossing the line badmouthing about......"
"And that's why you are about to take an action because you're angry after hearing bastard Thana cursing me. Right?"
Tay was saying in a suppressed excitement that he couldn't help but inches closer. New who is capable of controlling his expression having a hard time concealing his confusion.
".....Um yeah? You can even......say that."
"Ok now drive me to my house."
If mood swings had a face, Tay Tawan would be a great example. This man was extremely angry a moment ago and suddenly got embarrassed. Then pissed off about his own behaviour and getting surprised for no reason. And now back to normal as if nothing happened.
Tay Tawan is full of colours even the great observer New Thitipoom sometimes can't understand him.

Reaching the house Tay got out first. New parked the car into the garage then he entered the house. He saw Tay standing in front of his room. Burring his hand into the pocket. Tay was being extra handsome today because of the event. The blue suit was custom made and fit in every corner of his body. His hair was a little bit messy but that doesn't degrade his handsomeness.
"Mr Tawan," New stood in front of him keeping a bit of distance.
"You .... wait here. Don't leave, okay? " Tay said without looking at him.
Without understanding anything New just nodded. Tay hurriedly went to his room literally skipping one or two stairs in the process. He came back without his blazer holding something in his hand. He was back on the spot.
"Give me your hand."
"Pardon?" New was confused.
"Give me your left hand," Tay states firmly.
After a bit of hesitation, New raised his left hand. Tay grabbed his palm, raised his sleeves a bit revealing his bruised wrist.
"Mr Tawan what....."
"Don't move it's bruised a bit. Let me just put an ointment." Tay was already unscrewing the small cap.
"That.....I can do it. You don't...."
As if Tay never heard his protest. Simply putting a small amount of gel on his bruised wrist. New couldn't keep his eyes on the wrist and only looked at the door frame. The circular motion of the hand that is applying medicine on his wrist gives him a weird sensation.
But it was stopped abruptly. As if realising something, Tay suddenly looked at New. Sensing this New also looked back.
"I'm really sorry," Tay blurted.
"Huh?"
"I didn't ask your permission to touch you."
'And you're telling me now after doing everything?'
New internally screamed but didn't say anything. The only question that he is having now is...
"Mr Tawan are you drunk?"
"No. I'm fine."
"Well..." New took back his hand and said,"why not give me the ointment. I'll apply it after showering."
"Oh? Oh yeah sure. Here take it."
New took it and watched his 'not right state of mind ' boss walking backwards.
"Well then... remember to apply it before sleep."
New nodded. But again he looked at his backward going boss.
"Sleep well Mr Tawan," he slightly bowed and just entered half of his body.
"YOU TOO. Have a.... sweet dreams New."
Tay only could see the outline of his back not the stiff expression that New had. New then slowly closed the door without saying anything farther. He leaned on the closed door. Burring his face with the right palm. The warmth that is growing from his heart spread all over his body.
His heart is pounding hard.
What is happening? He just called my name so why am I behaving like this?
New asked himself but no one answered him. He looked at the ointment and creased slowly. He could still feel the lingering touch of Tay's hand. He is like a wild storm that destroys everything in his reach. But after calming down it brings the ray of warmth of sun as an afterglow.
'Mr Tawan, don't show kindness to me. I'm really not worth it.'

For nearly one month, I'm actually reading my most waited novel 'Breaking through the clouds ' . After finishing the prequel, I started its sequel also. It's only been 5 days and I already finished 64 chapters🤡
I think I'm still in this novel zone 🤣🤣🤣
