It is 4 o'clock in the morning, the women of the Mehra family, Neela, Simran and Avni, come to the dining table to perform morning sargi before starting their vrat (fast).
But as soon as they reach there, they are surprised to see the entire table decorated with different types of food and before they can say anything about who has done all this, they see Raj coming from the kitchen with another dish in his hand.
Raj's eyes fall on them and she places the dish in her hand on the table and says
" Good morning my beautiful ladies, aapka khaana taiyaar hai...." Simran is suprised and now she knows where her husband had gone when she woke up to freshen up, before coming here.
Neela and Avni are also impressed by this gesture of Raj because he has never done this before but Neela smiles at her son's initiative to do all this for his wife's first Karva Chauth.
" Avni beta mujhe pakado, kahin mujhe chakkar naa aa jaaye tumhare bhai ko aise dekh...." Neela speaks dramatically while Avni actually catches her placing her hands on her mom's back and Raj and Simran look at them.
" Kya hua mom ?" Somewhere Raj is aware of his mother's drama, yet he asks this question and Neela answers him
" Beta ji aaj se pehle to kabhi tumne Karva Chauth par khaana nahi bnaaya mere liye...." Raj smiles at this and says while teasing her
" Mom aapke liye main khaana kyon bnaaunga, aapke liye aapke pati hai n...." Simran widen her eyes at his statement, how can he say such a thing?
and before anyone says him on this, Raj speaks further
" And don't worry, aapke pati ne bhi aaj milkar ye sab bnaaya hai, bas wo aapke liye aapki favorite sweet dish ko last touch de rahe hai..." neela is shocked to hear this, Today a miracle has happened in this house.
" Kya ? Ashish kitchen me hai ?" Neela asks surprisingly and she also realizes that when she woke up, Ashish was not next to her and before Raj can answer his mother, Ashish brings his wife's favorite sweet dish from the kitchen and Neela looks at him with surprise.
" Good morning biwi sahiba " Ashish tells Neela to which Neela smiles and then Ashish wishes morning to Simran and then very lovingly to his princess Avni.
" Good morning dad..." After Ashish wishes, Avni responds by giving him a side hug, on which Ashish holds her in his arms and kisses her forehead.
" Ye sab aaj kya ho raha hai is ghar me....?" Neela asks on which both father and son duo sees each other and then answer
" Mom meri biwi ka pehla karvachauth hai to uske liye chize special honi chahiye n...." he says looking at Simran and hearing his answer Simran smiles looking at him
" Aur aap, aapki biwi ka to pehla nahi tha...aaj suraj kahan se nikla hai, shaadi ke itne saal baad, aaj pehli baar yaad aaya ki biwi ne karvachauth rakha hai...?" Neela asks on which ashish slightly bites his tongue before giving his answer
" Nahi, wo to main aaj bhi nahi jagta, tumhare bete ne jgaa diya...." Neela's mouth remains open at these words of Ashish, while their children gives him a look that why are you doing the act of getting beaten by your wife today?
" Dad.....now don't say that..." Avni says on which ashish smiles and before he says anything neela speak
" Rehne do Avni, mujhe inse yehi umeed thi...ye kabhi khud se aisa kuch kar hi nahi sakte...."
" Arre main to mjaak kar raha tha, tum to serious ho gyi..." Ashish says in his defense but neela ignores him and seeing his mom mood getting off Raj comes in his dad side
" Mom...... dad sch me mjaak kar rahe the...actually ye mera aur dad ka ek saath bnaaya hua plan tha ki aaj hum khaana aap sab ke liye bnaayenge...." Raj speaks but neela ignores him too
" Simran avni dono baitho aur rasm puri karo..." neela says on which Avni and Simran sees how neela mood gets off all of sudden and all gives ashish looks : what have you done, all your hard work has gone in vain.
But when Neela asks Avni to sit with Simran, Raj realizes something.
" Avi, tumne bhi vrat rakha hai ?" Raj asks on which Avni sees him and she doesn't understand what answer she should give to his brother and seeing her silent, Raj speaks again
" Mom ye sab kya hai, avi ne vrat kyon rakha hai..."
" Kyon rakha hai se kya matlb hai, zaahir hai, Neil ke liye, apne hone waale pati ke liye rakh rahi hai...." Raj hear this from neela on which he sighs
" But mom..... Raj is unable to say anything further when Neela interrupts him.
" Accha ab ye sab discussion band karo, tum baap bete ki wajah se already humara bahut waqt barbaad ho chuka hai, sargi ka waqt khatam ho jaayega..."
Raj and Ashish's mouths remain open on Neela's statement, firstly, both of them did this for them and this is how they are getting the reward.
" Biwi sahiba hum baap-bete ne aap sab ka waqt bachaaya hai, naa ki barbaad kiya hai...." Neela again ignores Ashish, angry at his previous words.
But then all three Neela, Simran and Avni sit at the table and Raj and Ashish serve them food, before that they themselves do this work, While Neela glare at Ashish angrily, Simran gives a thank you smile to Raj which he reciprocates
Avni sees this thing between the both couples and suddenly she starts missing Neil more than she was already doing.
" How good is the life of married people, how pleasant are all these moments with the one you love.... halki si nok-jhok toh wahin bahut sara pyar. Perhaps Neil also wanted to get married so that we too could be together in our every moment....But now...he will have to wait...Have I done something wrong by refusing to marry him now...?" She is thinking all this while looking at those two couples that she comes out of her thoughts when Ashish sits next to her and takes her name touching her shoulder
" Bachcha..... Avni looks to her right where Ashish is sitting and then she sees her entire family who are all looking at her.
" bachcha, kahan khoyi ho....hum sab kab se tumhe awaz de rahe hai....?" Neela asks on which Avni composes herself before giving any answer
" Kahin nahi maa...."
" Ab maa zaahir hai, avu Neil ke khayal me khoyi hogi...." Avni's face turns red due to Simran's statement while Neela also gives a knowing smile that yes, this is true, while Ashish also smiles, Raj silently looks at his sister, now he doesn't talk much between her and Neil because somewhere he has started feeling that he is the main reason for their fights.
After this they all complete their sargi, the nok-jhok between Neela and Ashish also ends when Ashish lovingly feeds the sweet dish prepared by his own hands to his wife, Raj also feeds some morsels to Simran with his own hands and so that Avni does not feel awkward among them, both Ashish and Raj together feed their princess..And this is how the whole family starts their day by spending a beautiful time.
Time skip
Around 7 in the morning, at Khanna House
Neil is sitting in his room, there is a newspaper in front of him but instead of reading it, he is looking at the wallpaper of his phone which has Avni's picture.
He looks at her photo and wonders whether he should call her or not because she is not picking up his calls but it is also his daily routine to call her as soon as he wakes up. But what should he do now, she is not giving up her anger.
But then without thinking much he makes a video call to Avni.

As for Sargi, Avni had woken up early in the morning, so right now she is still awake and sitting at her study table she's reading something but at that moment her phone rings and when she checks her phone, her face lights up when she sees Neil's name on her phone screen and in happiness she is about to answer his call when suddenly she remembers that she was angry, or was she angry?
And now she is not able to say sorry to him, how will she pick up the phone and talk, what will she say?
" Kya karu, yun call par to main kuch bol hi nahi paaungi, ab to milkar hi unhe sorry bolna padega.... I know kahin naa kahin main bhi galat hu...but I know Neil mujhe samjhte hai aur wo mujhe maaf bhi kar denge...." Avni says this while looking at her phone where Neil's call is still coming but she does not pick up.

As he expected, even today she has not given up her anger and has not picked up his call...He keeps his phone aside and rubs his hand on his face and then he gets up from there and goes to his closet to get ready for office.
Later
Neil comes down to the hall where Shweta, Bebe and Prakash are present, he meets them but as he starts to go out, Shweta stops him.
" Neil bina breakfast kiye kahan jaa raha hai....? Chal bebe aur Prakash ji tera hi intezaar kar rahe the..."
" But mom maine to khaa liya hai, aapne dekha to tha...ab aur kitna khaaunga...." Neil answers to which Shweta looks at him
" Par....
" Par war kuch nahi mom, main to full hu aur abhi mujhe office ke liye late ho raha hai, main aapse raat me milta hu bye..." Saying this he is about to leave from there but stops at Shweta's voice.
" Raat me nahi, shaam me...." Shweta says on which he turns to her
" Kya?" Neil asks
" Aaj shaam me jaldi ghar aa jaana, hume Mehra house jaana hai..." Hearing this he looks at his mom confused and sensing his this things Shweta speaks further
" Aaj Simran ka pehla karvachauth hai shaadi ke baad... toh neela ji ne kaha ki hum sab aaj ki puja ek saath kare, to isiliye hume wahaan Jana hai..."
" Toh mom ye aap ladies ki puja hai, wahaan mera kya kaam...main kyon jaaunga wahaan ? Aap sab jaaiye...." Neil says on which Shweta sees him raising her eyebrows
" Beta ye drama wahaan karna jo tujhe jaanta naa ho, wahaan jaane ka sunkar hi tere man me ladoo phoot rahe honge par hume aisa dikhaa raha hai jaise tujhe avni se milne me koi interest nahi hai...." Neil smiles at this statement of Shweta.
" Mom aisi baat to nahi hai...Now you all know that I am excited to meet her but work is also important, if I get free till evening then I will try to come early but for now, Bye, I am getting late...." Saying this, Neil straight away walks out of the house.
After he leaves and noticing some of his actions, Shweta and Bebe look at each other and Bebe says
" Shweta kahin tu wahi to nahi soch rahi jo main soch rahi hu...kahin Neil....
" Correct bebe, mujhe to pehle hi shaq tha ki kuch gadbad hai, ab to yakeen ho raha hai..."
And seeing his mother and wife talking in such confused words, Prakash says
" Ye aap dono kis baare me baat kar rahi hai....kya kiya Neil ne...." Shweta looks at Prakash on this question.
