Backstory: After falling into the abyss at then end of Volume 8, Y/N instead of ended in the Ever After with the rest of his friends and love ones ended up in Purgatory. A chaotic, hellish dimension where mutilated souls and predatorial monsters seek prey, the air is scorching hot and freezing cold at the same time and the earth is toxic, together destroying the flesh and bone of the living; time is warped there, much like The Boundary. A minute in the real world could correspond to a year in there.
Y/N had been encountering Hollow versions of himself, Team RWBY, and Summer who had been breaking him to the point where he killed them to gain power. He believe that light, hope, friendship, and love cannot save the world or stops threats like Salem, Mundus, Zeref, Acnologia, or Loptr. Only power, chaos, disorder, and darkness is necessary to bring true peace. He also claims that humans and Faunus are arrogant, evil, ugly, and disloyal beings that don't deserve to live.
He was in Purgatory for 3,000 years making his skin turn pale with red veins, his hair had gotten longer and became black like his father, and his eyes gain black sclera. He embraced his Nephilim heritage by sacrificing his human emotions such as love, hate, anger, greed, fear, compassion, and more.
While he still has Sparda, Umbra Witch, and God of War powers, he relies on his demonic and angelic powers as well as darkness and light magic to destroy his enemies. He even created his own Nephilim army with his power.
The first half of his army are Arrancars, demons who had gained human forms. They can unleash their versions of Devil Trigger and their demonic power is above even some of the high-ranking demons.
The second half are Quinces, angels who are banished from Heaven, but didn't become Fallen Angels. Instead, they've been given new angelic powers by Y/N.
Soon, Y/N and his army will leave Purgatory to the human world where he will begin his new goal of peace by destroying evil, wars, and the races who've been slaughtering each other of their own selfish reasons.
This one will be consider to be a major part of this book. I was originally planning on using this dark version of Y/N on Volume 9-10 of RWBY, but since there hasn't been a green light for Volume 10 I know I need to improvise. So I'm gonna use on for RWBY Volume 9 and both Acts 3-4 of Gears of War 5.
I chose the Arrancars and the Sternritters from Bleach because they are ridiculously strong and their powers are similar to demons/angels from Devil May Cry, Darksiders, and even the Umbra Witches/Lumen Sages from Bayonetta.
I mean, if they rival or surpass the power of a Soul Reaper Captain, they can give some the strongest huntsmen teams like DVANT, THCS, and THNDR a hard time.
For Y/N's corruption, I got some inspiration from DMC: Devil May Cry Reboot for the Hollows, Aqua following into the ocean of darkness which made her Anti-Aqua from Kingdom Hearts 3, and Ziggy got awaken and corrupted by the Edens One from Edens Zero.
I won't reveal the rest of this because there are surprises which I don't want to spoil to the end. Don't worry, Y/N will return into the light and become good again if his heart, body, and soul have been purged from the evil inside of him by a female with a heart full of pure light.
