STEFAN
The flash from the paparazzi's camera immediately greets them when they step out from inside the hotel lobby and their grip still holding tight until they approach their car. Every paparazzi and journalist there is screaming Stefan and Irene's names out loud like they need answers from both of them. Irene just lowered her head and tightened her grip on Stefan because she was still afraid of all the paparazzi. Stefan felt this fear as they walked towards the car, he tried to calm Irene by stroking her hand then they got into the car, Irene got in first then followed by Stefan behind her.
After that, Chris, who in front of the car just says "good job, both of you will be on the first page of all the magazines" They headed to the premiere venue, Stefan and Irene didn't say a word after the two of them walked in front of the hotel. Rachel gives both of the information about the after party, "after all of you watch the premiere of the film, there will be an after party, if you want to join it's fine Irene" Irene looks over Rachel and answers "I think I'll get home after the premiere, is that okay?" Rachel nodding to her, "yeah it is fine, you also don't have any schedule too" Stefan replied to Rachel's words, "I think I'll pass the after party Chris, I need more sleep" Chris who hears that then answers "okay, Stefan. I can tell all of the executives about that later."
Their journey to the premiere venue was very fast even though it was a bit jammed because they had to go through the back lane of the building because the road was closed to the public. In the car, Rachel helped Irene see whether her makeup and lipstick were still there because she had been drinking because she was nervous, Stefan could only steal glances at Irene who was busy with her make-up and hair, then Stefan just remembered about the necklace he wanted to give, 'oh shit, the necklace' luckily he had it in his coat pocket.
He took it from his inner coat pocket, then give it to Irene "wear this, it's a set with the dress." Irene is shock by the velvet box that suddenly appeared in front of her eyes. "oh?" She took the city and opened it, she saw a necklace with a pendant in the shape of a guitar and musical notes decorating the necklace, Irene looked at Stefan "this is very beautiful, Stefan. It's a guitar, my favorite instrument" Rachel helped her to wear the necklace, Stefan without expression as usual answered "it suits with your dress" without saying anything else to Irene.
Stefan turned his gaze to the car window but his heart feeling very happy that the girl like the necklace, he didn't even realize he was smiling faintly and Chris could see it from the front seat. They arrived at the back door of the cinema building which they would use to watch with the media and journalists today. They all got out of the car and Chris went straight to the event staff to review Stefan's activities because he was not the main actor in the film.
"Williams, you just follow the staff, if you're confused just ask Chris okay?" While walking to the waiting area for all the actors in the film, Stefan was in front of Irene and he greeted several of the staff at the event, he saw several staff looking at Irene as if they were stunned by Irene, 'If I wasn't an actor here, I would've poking their eyes right now' he talk to himself. They arrived at the waiting area for all the actors in this film before they appear one by one on the red carpet premiere. There were many people gather there, some people welcomed Stefan while Chris was busy with the event they had prepared a month ago.
Stefan was busy welcoming several important people and several executives in Hollywood films, but his eyes were still focused on the girl with wavy hair. one of the producers asked Stefan "I think I've seen that girl with you, Stefan" Stefan then explained to him, "she is a new singer here and she is also an extra in this film" when Stefan said extra, the producer immediately remembered "Oh, no wonder I've seen that girl, she was the one sitting in the cafe scene, right? With your characters, Robert and Sarah in it?" Stefan nodded "that's right" one of the producers said, "Did you meet at that location? You're really that young, huh?" they are teasing and laughing at Stefan but who is being tease could only laugh with them.
The event began with an opening by the director and main actors, lots of Robert and Sarah's fans were waiting for them to come out, the fans' screams could be heard all the way into the theater building. Stefan had to leave Irene for a moment because he had to take a group photo and welcome his fans too.
"Hey Williams, I have to go out now, Rachel and some of the staff will be with you too because you are an invited guest," said Stefan to Irene, greeted by a smile from Irene, "Okay, I'm not a child, Stefan. I can do it myself, get out there, go." while slightly tapping Stefan's shoulder. All actors are welcome to walk up to their fans who are waiting for them on the street. Stefan gave several autographs and also took selfies with his fans. While doing that he heard one of his fans telling everyone to listen to Irene's song Bad Styles, making Stefan a little embarrassed but he could only smile and continue signing. When Stefan walked out towards the small stage for the actors and the directors, the fans' screams got louder and called his name. Stefan was also given a mic by Robert, "Hello everyone, I'm Stefan Luca playing as Anthony, Josh's college friend, Robert's role and also the cool barista in this film" everyone shouting his name and became louder. After all the actors introduced themselves, they went straight to where the media and journalists were waiting for their photos and news on the red carpet. Stefan waited his turn for photos on the red carpet and to be interviewed by the media.
Chris took Irene to the back where the media was waiting for entering the theater. When it was time for Stefan to take a photo in front of media journalists and paparazzi, the flash of the paparazzi's camera dazzle everyone's eyes but Stefan could hold it in since he was a teenager, Stefan looked to his right and it turned out that Irene was there waiting to just pass by the paparazzi, suddenly there were several media and journalists see her and shouted Irene's name told the girl to take a photo on the red carpet too. Stefan motioned for Irene to take a photo with him "Williams, come here, it's okay" Irene hesitantly walked towards Stefan and the camera light immediately greeted her very aggressively, but Stefan with his eyes signaled as if he was saying it's okay, so she smiling toward the camera and some people shout her name couple of times "ms. Williams look at here" on her right and on her left, she tells everyone to calm down and just call her Irene and everyone there laughing, making Stefan laugh at her, then one person says to them "embrace her" or "hold her hands" and that moment Stefan embrace Irene's waist and didn't say anything and after the 2 minutes photo, Stefan and Irene want to leave the red carpet but the media and paparazzi shout, "Miss Irene please stay one minute for the photos!" Stefan looks at her, she looks surprised and points at herself "me? just me?" and all the media says "yes!" Stefan whispers to her ear "go ahead, I'll do a short interview over there" Irene nodding at him and continued to pose in front of all the cameras at the red carpet with Rachel on her side. Stefan then continued to be interviewed by several media and journalists there, one of the journalists asked who he was bringing today because she looks stunning, then Stefan answered "she is my friend and also Robert's friend" then looked at the journalist's camera "please stream Bad Styles because there's Robert too," then Stefan moved to the next journalist. Stefan always took a glance at Irene, he saw Sarah hugging Irene there once again and Chris leading her into the theater to watch the film, he continue to talk with the journalist.
In the theater room, Stefan met Robert and immediately made fun of his best friend's words earlier at the red carpet, "oh we're friends guys" and he laughed at him with his hands on Stefan's shoulder, "stop it Johnson" Stefan gave him eye rolls, "dude, if you're like that, I feel pity for Irene, just say it dude or she will be gone, forever" he lightly punches Robert's stomach "you're friend still trying here" then they are also escorted by the staff to their respective seats in the cinema theater. Stefan sees Irene already on her seat behind his seat, he approaches his seat and takes a glance at her then he sits down. They wait for ten minutes and the film started. When the scene at the cafe appeared, he saw Irene's face, who was acting as a student working in front of her laptop with iced coffee beside her, several times appearing on the screen even just for a couple seconds, making Stefan smile sincerely at the girl for the first time without other people seeing him. He can hear Irene's voice behind him when that scene appears on the big screen. The film finished and people applauded, appreciating the director, actors and everyone who had worked hard for this film for couples months.
After the event was over, Stefan and Irene were met in a large room containing several actors and directors because they were about to start the after party, in here Chris talks to the executives and producers that Stefan will be off because he told that Stefan has schedule in the early morning, he has to lied to all of them because Stefan need some rest. Before they went home, it turned out that the film producers and director saw Irene with Stefan, they asked Chris to let them chat for a while with Stefan and the girl. Chris also told Stefan and asked Irene to accompany him for a moment to talk to the producers, "Williams, if you're not comfortable with them, give me a sign, okay?" Irene answered "yes Stefan, I hope they don't take long." Stefan nodded and took Irene's hand towards the producers and directors of this film. "Hey Stefan, I heard that you'll pass the party" said blonde hair man that not too old for his age, "yes Gary, I have earlier schedule tomorrow" Gary, one of the producer chuckle "and I bet you don't want us to know your plus one there" Stefan introduce Irene to them,
"actually she also in this movie as extra, maybe Jeremy didn't remember her, she's Irene Williams, she's a singer songwriter"
"Hello sir, nice to meet you all." Jeremy then remembers her, "oh, you're the extras at the cafe right? I remember you, young lady" Irene answers happily "yes, sir. I'm the extra on the cafe where Stefan's character work as barista" all the producers looking at Irene and the tall man with glasses says "I think you're great to be an actress, young lady" Irene thanked their compliment "thank you sir, I just learned how to act from a movies and I'm still learning how to act in front of camera" then Gary giving his opinion, "I think you have to practice your acting skills, because your acting is good even as an extra and only appears for a few moments." Irene give them smile, "thank you sir" and Gary say to Stefan, "let your girlfriend to do an audition, maybe she will success become an actor" Stefan just grin at Gary, "she just loves to singing and making music Gary, if she wants, she will take that opportunity, we should get going now, it's almost midnight" Without waiting for all of them to answer, Stefan immediately pulled Irene from the room and headed to the car, where Rachel and Chris were already there.
Inside the car no one talking about what happened in the red carpet, the silent is so loud even there is a background music from the radio, it is One Direction's song called You & I. Stefan look at Rachel, she was dozing off and Irene just looking outside the window, he can see her face reflection on car window, tonight felt different for him especially with Irene, he is more terrified to explain what happened to him and his mind after this night end, he take a quick glance at her and looking at her hand that he took tonight, he more afraid what will happen to her life after this because he knew that her life will be not the same as before.
He just wants her to have a normal life, not like him, they always interrupt and chase him wherever he goes, so he just looks outside the window hoping everything is going well for their best life and his feeling toward this girl beside him.
