My mom and dad were downstairs talking. I'm still wondering who this woman dad mentioned about. Hmm he said she was around me when I was younger. I don't even know who all was around when I was young.
I was unpacking the rest of my stuff. I was going to do it yesterday but who feels like doing anything after a big event.
Riley's pov
Riley: Why you still here?
Amanda: What do you mean? To spend time with my daughter. Why you gotta sound so aggressive.
Riley: Aggressive?
Amanda: Like your kicking me out.
Riley: I'm not kicking you out but I mean I ain't got nothing to say to you.
Amanda: Okay at the end of the day I know we end on bad terms but you're not gonna treat me like shit like I'm not the mother of your kids.
Riley: I'm not treating you like shit but I'm not going to treat you with the princess treatment neither.
Amanda: This is exactly why we never work out.
Riley: Yeah you many of the reasons don't put this shit on me.
Amanda: Can we not? I'm really not trying to argue.
Riley: Mhm.
Rosaline came down the stairs and sat down on the couch.
Amanda: Hey Honey. Uhm. I feel like we all should talk this out. So I'll be available on the weekends and I was wondering if you would like to come see me Saturdays and Sundays. If you want.
Rosaline: Sure that's fine with me!
Amanda: Yeah I be off on the weekends so. Riley is that ok-
Riley: Yeah that's fine. You her mother you do what you want.
Amanda: .....Ok.
Rosaline: Soooo...uhm what's going on between you too?
Riley & Amanda: Nothing. Why?
Rosaline: No reason I'm just wondering is y'all done with the fighting?
Amanda: For now.
Rosaline: Oh, ok.
Amanda: Yeah...uhm so what you want for dinner.
They walked off into the kitchen and I went on my phone to text someone. I have nothing against Amanda but I just don't want her around me right now while I'm trying to recover. But damn we all know that's impossible. Sometimes I regret getting her pregnant but at the end of the day I love her as my kids mother and my kids.
Y/N's pov
Ceaser was here talking to the kids. He decided to come by to hang with Huey. He looking good after not seeing him in a bit.
Jolena: Waittt so you got chase by a bear?
Ceaser: Yep! It was tragic but I mean I survived.
Tokyo: This nigga lying.
Ceaser: You always hating about something. I knew you was gonna be a hater ever since you was born.
Tokyo: I knew you was always a lair ever since I first met you.
Y/N: Oh my goodness.
Hugee: What kind of bear was it.
Ceaser: A Grizzly.
Tokyo: Now you know damn well-

Tokyo: You said ran not riding an vehicle or anything. Nobody can run out on foot from a grizzly bear and if you can, be the next MegaMan.

Ceaser: Welp. How y'all been feeling.
Huey: We been good... chilling lately.
Ceaser: Yeah. I missed like what 2 reunions.

Huey: ....We just had that conversation 2 hours ago-

Huey: Stop talking to him like he your friend out here in these streets.

Ceaser: ZAMNNNNN. Again? For what?
Huey: Uhm, kinda forget.
Y/N: Riley broke up with her?
Huey: I thought Amanda broke up with him?
Tokyo: They broke up with each other. It was neutral.
Y/N: Oh. Well how the fuck do you know that.
Tokyo: Communicating? She told me that like 2-3 weeks ago.
Y/N: ....Stay out of grown folks business.
Tokyo: WHAT!?
Y/N: Anyways. Yeah what he said. They broke up with each other.
Ceaser: Damnnnn. I thought they was already gonna get it together. But I'm not even surprised.
Huey: Nobody is. All they do is go on and off. I think Riley officially done with her not gon lie. He's talking to someone else.
Y/N: Who?
Huey: I think Cindy. He didn't really tell me the name. He just described her and I kinda figured out who it already was.
Y/N: Ohhh, I know Cindy. Don't see have a son?
Huey: I don't know? Maybe. I don't think so.
Y/N: Oh. Well yeah. Wasn't she planning on coming down here to see the kids.
Huey: Mhm.
Ceaser: We should go out for drinks. You know guys night out. Just to help Riley get things off his mind.
Huey: Yeah that sounds like a good idea actually.
Ceaser: You know. I think he just got a lot of his mind right now.
Huey: I'll hit him up later.
Hugee: Wait- who cooking dinner? Because Mom said she ain't doing shit.
Huey: You 18. Figure it out.
Y/N: AHA!
Hugee: I'm calling CPS...
Y/N: Call me, you need my phone? It's fall season right now. The temperature are getting cooler. Y'all are getting older it's about time for y'all to learn how to cook.
Kaiden: Last time we cooked, everyone in the house got a stomach virus.
Y/N: Yeah because the food wasn't done probably.
Tokyo: It was Lena's fault.
Jolena: Bitch-
Riley's pov
I was still on my phone texting, until I got an message from Huey. He wanna go out for drinks tonight with him and Cease. I mean I guess I could do that I ain't gotta work in the morning.
Amanda came back in the living room smiling. I put my phone away after I responded. She has a little bit of flour on the side of her lip.
Amanda: Why you put your phone away so quick. Damn I'm sorry if I'm disrupting you.
Riley: Here you go......you got flour on the side on your lip.
Amanda: Help me get it off.
Riley: I did. It's on your left.
Amanda: That's not what I meant but thanks.
Riley: What you want? For me to touch you?
Amanda: Why can't we continue being the same it just we not together.
Riley: Who do I look like? We broke up. I'm not about to treat you like I wanna be with you because I don't.
Amanda: ....Do you ever think about other people feelings for once?
Riley: *sighs* I'm just not about to do this with you over and over and over and over again.
Amanda: When you're in love with someone you keep trying to make things work out.
Riley: Do you know how many times I wanted us to work out? The amount of times I chase after you. I fight for you. But I never got that kind of effort back from you but jealousy and selfishness.
Riley: I'm tired. I need to focus on myself. I'm not saying there won't be another chance but I don't want you back in the moment right now.
She went silent, before a tear formed and slowly went down her face. She wiped it as soon Rosa came in the living room and immediately placed a smile back on her face.
Rosaline: Dinner almost done! Dad you hungry?
Riley: Uhm, actually not right now. I'm going out with the guys for drinks so I ain't eating right now.
Rosaline: Okay! There will always be some here for you to eat if you get hungry when you come back.
Riley: Aight, thanks Honey.
She went back into the kitchen and Amanda was looking down at her fingers, fidgeting.
Riley: Can you watch her for me while I'm gone for a couple of hours.
Amanda: Of course.
Riley: Thanks...
I exited and went upstairs to get ready to go out. I just need a drink right now and get things off my mind. Maybe this will be helpful but I just can't do this with her right now. She just gonna have to push through it and distract herself just like I am but I'm not taking no more tears from her.
Side note: Sorry that it took me too long to upload I didn't go anywhere just been busy but I've been making drafts so please don't think imma just end the story without finishing it. Thank you to those that understands.
