LITTLE GARDEN, GRAND LINE...
While Luffy, Zoro, Ussop, Nami and Vivi got their hands full fighting Baroque Works Ranked Agents,
Sanji was inside the forest searching for his crewmates.
He happens to came across Mr.3's hideout and there a Transponder Snail ringing inside.
Sanji pretend to be Mr.3 to find out who's on the phone and it's none other than Mr.0, The Boss Himself.
Mr.0 questioned about the mission report and Sanji pretending to be Mr.3 saying that the mission was a success..
He pretend to already have eliminated Princess Vivi and The Straw Hat Pirates. Mr.0 congratulated Mr.3 (Sanji) for mission success and informed him that The Baroque Works Messengers,
The Unluckies were on their way to confirm the mission report and to deliver an Eternal Pose to Alabasta.
When The Unluckies arrived,
Sanji beat them down and take the Eternal Pose.
With Luffy and the others,
Doree seems to be fine as he got up.
Turns out the amount of poison is not enough to kill a Giant like Doree.
Brogy is so happy to see his brother in arms is still alive and so is The Straw Hat Pirates.
"Hey Nami..!
There is a red swelling on your belly..
What's wrong..?" Zoro ask Nami with a concerned look pointing at Nami got bitten by an insect on her belly.
"Nothing..! Just a bug bite.." Nami says with a smile,
Sanji walked in and started dancing with hearts in his eyes, looking at Vivi and especially Nami since her clothes were all burned in the wax fire and she's only wearing just a blue bra and a brown shorts.
"Ohhhh, Nami-Swaaan..!
You look absolutely amazing in that outfit.." Sanji says having a nose bleed,
"Say that again..!" Nami says gripping her hands in annoyance and a tick mark on her forehead,
Zoro got a bit annoyed by Sanji remark about Nami. With annoyed grunt, He got up and walked pass Nami, throwing his green robe at Nami's face.
"Put that on, you damn Witch..." Zoro says not looking at Nami and walk pass her,
"OI MARIMO..!
HOW DARE YOU TALK TO MY NAMI-SWAN WITH THAT DAMN TONE... AND HOW DARE YOU CALL HER A WITCH, YOU BASTARD..! She's an Angel...!" Sanji says mad as hell throwing curses at Zoro,
They both started arguing and at each other's throat.
Nami on the other hand just looked at Zoro in shock of his kind jester and smiled at him as she put on the robe and take in Zoro scent which is still on the Robe.
"Anyway..!
Sorry i wasn't here to help you guys..
I was busy talking to that Mr.0 guy over a Transponder Snail on Mr.3's hideout." Sanji says shocking everyone,
"MR.0..?" Vivi says freaking out with a shocked face,
Sanji explained everything to them and they all started jumping and cheering that Sanji even managed to get a Loguepose to Alabasta.
They bid Farewell to Brogy snd Doree and set sail to the Alabasta.
Just like always, Luffy and Ussop were just dancing around while Zoro sitting quietly watching them.
Karoo is just running around and Sanji is preparing food.
"Where the hell they get this much energy to dance around after all that happened..? I'm exhausted..!" Nami says looking tired and sweating hard,
Nami asked Vivi to look after the Loguepose so Nami can get some rest.
Vivi was watching the direction while Nami just sat there tired trying to take a quick nap. Sanji bring in some sweets to get Nami and Vivi's strength back.
"Ohhhhhhhh..!
They look YUMMYYYYY..." Luffy says with hearts in his eyes,
"This is for Nami and Vivi..
Yours are in the kitchen.." Sanji says with a grunt looking at Luffy trying to steal Nami's sweets,
Luffy, Ussop and Karoo ran to kitchen to get their sweet while Sanji chase them knowing Luffy, he'll whipe the whole kitchen off with his apatite.
Zoro walking towards the kitchen can't help but Notice something is not right with Nami...
He knows she's tired but the way she's acting and breathing especially sweating kinda concerned Zoro.
"Vivi..!
I don't feel so good..
I probably need some rest." Nami says slowly getting up and was about to walk to Women's quarters,
"Ofcourse Nami..!
Get some rest, I'll look after the course.." Vivi says with a smile,
Zoro got even more concerned that Nami struggle to stand.
His eyes wide open when he saw Nami lose consciousness and fall but he caught her just in time.
"NAMI..!" Zoro says in a shocked tone shaking Nami to wake up,
"NAMI..! WHAT HAPPENED..?" Vivi says screaming and ran towards Zoro and Nami,
Vivi touched Nami's forehead to feel Nami's temperature is too hot.
Zoro carry Nami to women's quarters and placed her gently on the bed.
Vivi did the first aid and put a wet cloth on her forehead to cool down Nami's temperature.
Vivi called everyone to inform Nami is sick and they all freaked out, especially Sanji. Vivi checked Nami's temperature and it's 104, and it will take a week to get to Alabasta to find a doctor so it will be too late and Nami will probably be dead by then..
Nami suddenly get's up slowly saying she's fine and will be better soon.
She also showed a 3 days old Newspaper to Vivi which says Alabasta's Civil is getting worse with lots of casualties on both sides.
"Which is why..! We can't waste any time worrying about me and get to Alabasta as soon as possible.." Nami says getting out of the bed and tried to walk,
She felt week and her legs started giving up as she fall down again and right before Sanji catch her, Zoro caught her again. Sanji look dagger at Zoro but given the serious situation,
He didn't react.
"Oi, stop acting like an idiot..
You are sick and there's nothing you can do other than getting some good rest.. We'll handle the rest." Zoro says placing Nami on her bed again and covering her with blanket,
Vivi is taking care of Nami and Sanji is doing everything he can to cook healthy meals for Nami.
Ussop, Luffy and Zoro taking care of the ship with the instructions given by Nami. The night falls short and Sanji is on the lookout while the others are asleep.Zoro walked in to Women's quarters to see Vivi sleeping, sitting on the floor beside Nami and laying her head on Nami's bed.
Zoro picked up Vivi and put her gently on her bed so she can rest properly.
Zoro then put a chair next to Nami and ast there looking at Nami having awful fever sweating hard.
"Damn it, Woman..!
At a time like this and of all the people, why does it have to be you..?" Zoro says with an annoyed grunt feeling Nami's forehead while she's asleep,
"I'm-.... Tch, *sigh*
I'm sorry, Nami..!" Zoro says with his ego still preventing him but he says anyway making sure Nami is asleep,
"For saying those awful things to you that night..! To be honest,
I didn't mean any of that and i know you did what you must to save your village and your people...
It's just..... *sigh*" Zoro says sighing in annoyance, imprisoning Nami's left hand within his two palm and gripped it tight,
"I was afraid of getting attached...
After what happened to Kuina,
I was so afraid of getting close to anyone and watch them dissappear from my life again...
I know you didn't mean any of what you said at Arlong Park but still..." Zoro says thinking about everything while still having Nami's hand inside his two palms,
"I thought it would be better to be away from you, So i don't have to force my burden on you...
But it's What Nakamas do, right..?
Thick or thin, Joy or Surrow, they always share everything with their Nakamas..." Zoro says with a smile as he let go of Nami's hand and touch her forehead,
"Don't you dare die on me, Woman..!
Get back well soon so i can have someone to argue..." Zoro says with a little smile and looked at Vivi whether she's awake or sleep,
After confirming Vivi is asleep,
Zoro get close to Nami and kissed her head, just above her forehead and gently comb her uneven, smooth orange silky hair... After taking one final look at Nami, Zoro got up and walked out with a sigh.
As soon as the door closed,
Nami opened her eyes with her cheeks red as tomato.
One could say it's because of her fever but she knows why her face is bright red at that point.
She pulled the blanket to her lips, biting it in nervous, taking in everything Zoro just said and his final kiss to her head.
She still felt the touch of his lips on her head and with a little smiley giggle,
She rolled around to try get some sleep.
Zoro on the other hand walked to the kitchen to get some booze but was surprised to see Sanji there.
"What you doing here, curlybrows..?" Zoro ask with an eyebrow rise,
"Incase you forgot, Marimo..!
I am at guard duty today..
So the question is, what you doing here..?" Sanji ask puffing his cigarette,
"I just...
Came to get some booze and,
Check on Nami, how she's doing.." Zoro says not looking at Sanji, just searching for sake,
Usually Sanji will get mad as hell if anyone gets inside Women's quarters let alone in the middle of the night but since he knows the situation,
He understands everyone is worried about Nami.
Suddenly the kitchen door bust open.
Ussop and Luffy walked in surprised to see Zoro and Sanji inside.
Turns out they all can't sleep Knowing Nami's life is in danger, so Sanji make them all a drink and they all talked for a while until the sun rises..
The morning arrives with sunlight barely giving any warm light but the area flows with cold wind around -10°,
Vivi remembered an Island named Winter island happened to be near by.
So they decided to anchor there and find doctor before Nami's fever gets any worse.
As soon as they get to the shores surrounded by ridges,
People of the winter island surrounded the port, standing at the ridges and pointing guns at them.
One of the the people walked front looking at The Going Merry.
"I'll only say this once...
You're kind is not welcome here,
Leave immediately.." A man looks like a Solider says with authority,
"We only came here fo find a doctor." Luffy says with hands on the air,
"We have someone who's sick.." Vivi says pleading with them,
"You have to do better than that.
We're not gonna fall for that old trick." One of the civilians says throwing hateful glare at them,
"We're not gonna let filthy Pirates like you in our island...
Raise your anchors and get outta here or we will sink you and your ship into the waters.." The Civilians says not welcoming for Pirates,
While threatening,
A Civilian fire a bullet near Sanji's leg as Sanji got mad.
"That was a mistake.." Sanji says preparing to pumble that guy into the ground,
"Sanji..! Don't... stop..!" Vivi sats screaming to stop Sanji,
But that Civilian got a bit scared of Sanji as he shot Vivi on her shoulder,
Making her bleed and fall on the ground.
"VIIIVIIIIIII..." Luffy screamed in anger as he glare dagger at that guy who shot Vivi,
The villagers got frightened by Luffy's glare as they prepared to fire,
Zoro watch Vivi falling to the floor with a thud and bleeding from her shoulder.
Everything went dark for Zoro as his eyes suddenly beamed firey yellow again...
That Civilian who shot Vivi take another shot at Zoro but Zoro unsheathed his Kitetsu, slicing that bullet into two still glued his eyes on Vivi.
"MR.BUSHIDO..! Don't..!" Vivi says mumbling in pain looking at Zoro,
Zoro slowly turn his glare towards that Civilian sending shivers to his spine, looking at Zoro's Demonic eyes...
Zoro unsheathed his other Sword and with lightning speed, he rushed to that Civilian and pinned him to the tree nearby, stabbing him through his shoulder.
The People of Winter Island were shocked by Zoro's speed and was frightened to their core looking at Zoro was about to slice that guy's head.
"You will PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID.." Luffy scream was about to attck the People,
"No Stop..! LUFFY..!
Fighting is gonna make things worse and it might cause Nami's life...
Please Luffy, stand down.." Vivi says jumping at Luffy and holding him back,
"Please, I'm begging you..!
We won't land on your island but could you please call us a Doctor..?
Our friend is dieing from a serious illness, please help us.." Vivi says bowing her head on the ground infront of the people,
"Vivi..!" Luffy says standing there in shock,
"You're not fit to be a captain, Luffy..!
If you think everything can be fixed by rushing into violence...
This is a Pirate Ship..
They have every right to attack us and defend themselves..." Vivi says still forehead on the floor,
"Zoro..!" Luffy call Zoro while Zoro was inches away from mass murdering everyone on this island,
Zoro looked at Luffy and back away his Kitetsu from slicing that guy's head.
Luckily no one noticed Zoro's eyes as it emits pure bloodlust and a demonic illusion.
"Put your Swords away and stand down.. we have no right to attack them, it's their island...
People of Winter Island..!
Please...Help us.. our friend needs a doctor.." Luffy says bowing his head to the ground infront of the people,
Zoro's expression changed immediately as he looked at Luffy in shock.
Zoro didn't appreciate his Captain bowing down to anyone but he understands Luffy is acting as a Captain now. Zoro took his Kitetsu out of that guy's shoulder and sheathed his swords dropping them on the ground and standing back as Luffy ordered.
The people still don't appreciate Zoro's action but the Solider agreed to let them to their village and The people obeyed his command.
"Thanks, Vivi..!
You're incredible.." Luffy says praising Vivi to which she smiled giggling,
While everyone get to the island,
Zoro decides to remain on The Merry.
"Luffy..! You guys can go,
I'll stay here and guard the ship." Zoro says looking at Luffy,
"Huh, Why..?
Come on..! It will be fun.." Luffy says with a grin,
"Don't worry,
Besides someone need to keep an eye on The Merry..." Zoro says walking to the women's quarters to get Nami,
He opened the door to see Nami laying there tired as she's moaning in fever.
"Hey..!
They allowed us to take you to their doctor.. Luffy will carry you.
Come on." Zoro says putting a coat around Nami as he picked her up in a bridal way,
Although Nami enjoys it, she didn't show it on her face rather she can't considering her condition.
"You're not coming..?" Nami ask with a gentle tired tone,
"There is a possibility that I'll mass murder every single one of them for what they did to Vivi... It's better i stay behind." Zoro says carrying Nami,
"What..! What happened..?" Nami ask with a curiosity of why Zoro's this mad,
"I'll let the others fill you in on your way since we have to get you to the doctor as soon as possible." Zoro says walking out of the Women's quarters,
Sanji is literally on fire glaring at Zoro, cursing him for Carrying Nami like that when the crew just sighed sweatdrop.
Zoro give Nami to Luffy to carry but Sanji jumped in and carry her on his back.
On their way,
The general introduced himself as Dalton. He is the head of the security force around the island.
"So, Luffy..!
Zoro chose to stay behind saying he'll kill everyone here if he come with us for what they did to Vivi...
Care to explain..?" Nami ask with curiosity,
Dalton listening to what Zoro said kinda freaked out but he remain calm knowing the situation...
"Well the villagers shot Vivi on her shoulder.." Luffy says shocking Nami,
"WHAT..?" Nami was really shocked,
"It's alright Nami..!
It just scratched my skin that's all.
Besides, we're Pirates and they have every right to be afraid of us..
They don't know we mean no harm." Vivi says with a smile,
"Sorry about earlier...
Our village is being raided by a Pirate group named Blackbeard Pirates.
Our leader who was supposed to protect us ran away with all the goods and supplies.
We barely make it alive and when we saw your flag, we got a bit worried." Dalton says apologizing with regrets and worry,
Sanji asked when they can meet the doctor as Dalton showed a big mountain and the doctor lives up above the Mountain.
Luffy talk to Nami as the only way to get to the mountain is to climb the mountain where the doctor lives.
Sanji argue how the hell Nami's gonna get there and Luffy says he'll carry her.
The whole crew got mad arguing with Luffy on how dangerous it is when Nami smiled,
"I have to beat this thing faster,
So we all can get to Alabasta as soon as we can, For Vivi..!
Alright Captain..! Let's go.." Nami says with a smile putting her hand for a dabs,
"Shesheshe...
Leave it to me, Nami..!" Luffy says putting a dabs on Nami as they prepare to climb the mountain,
Sanji decided to tag along just in case they need any help.
Sanji and Luffy did their best to climb but they've been caught in an avalanche that injured Sanji.
Carrying Nami on his back and Sanji by his teeth, Luffy carry them both and climb the mountain with everything on the line knowing if he fails,
Sanji will probably be dead and Nami will surely end up dead.
Success is the only option.
