It was a cold Tuesday morning and you pulled up with your motorbike and a leather jacket infront of the new café in town to try it out.
You walked in and the place immediately seemed so cozy and welcoming. They were already quite busy which meant it can't be bad.
"H- Hello, welcome to &Café, what can I get for you today?" a really really cute bartender asked you. You admired his facial features for a few seconds before you realised you were here to get coffee.
"Umm can I get a gingerbread latte and also a slice of carrot cake please?"
"Of course. Anything else?"
"N- nope, that's all."
Why did you stutter?!
Once you paid you glanced at his name tag and it read "Harua".
'What an adorable name to go with that adorable face' you thought as you smiled to yourself.
"Okay thank you very much, you can sit down and I'll bring those to you shortly" he said to you with a cute smile on his face. You thanked him and then sat down in a really comfortable chair that you found in the very corner of the café. You couldn't wait to get your coffee and cake, just so you could see him again.
From that day onwards you became a regular at &Café and you became friends with pretty much all nine bartenders. EJ's the manager, Fuma's was assistant manager, K was the oldest, Maki, Taki & Harua are students, Nicholas came from Taiwan, and Jo & Yuma are fresh graduates. All very handsome but you won't deny that Harua caught your eye above all. He's so sweet and so cute, you simply couldn't resist.
All of them were sweet but for some reason you always hoped that Harua would be the one to serve you whenever you went there. Not that you were disappointed whenever another one of them served you, you were really happy to see them too, but your feelings for Harua were practically asking for it.
You'd been going to the café for atleast three months now, and today you went back and asked for your usual. To your joy, Harua served you and as per usual, he told you he'd bring your coffee and cake to you shortly. When he came by and put your stuff down on a tray, you saw that he left his notepad on the tray. You were about to call for him to give it back but then you looked at it and a thought popped into your head. You took the notepad along with the pen that was attached to it and wrote your number in it for Harua. You thought it was probably time by now to make a move.
Not even a minute later, you saw Harua searching for a certain something. You called him over and handed him his notepad. He immediately took it and thanked you then speed-walked away; you could tell he was in a rush.
You smiled to yourself, proud of what you'd done.
Later that night, after you took a shower you saw that you had a text from a random number. Wonder who it could be from, right? You immediately saved his contact and started a conversation.

So you two ended up talking for hooours that night and as you can probably imagine, your breakfasts the next morning pretty much turned into brunch. Well atleast for you because Harua had to get up at the same time as always and go to the café. You apologised to him for keeping him up so late but he said it was fine and that it wasn't your fault. You still felt sorry though, even in the morning.
Well, you still got ready as usual, got your leather jacket on, got your keys & helmet along with your shoes, heading out the door with a wide smile on your face. You hopped on your motorbike and headed to the café. You got there and by this point, they already had your coffee and cake being prepared as soon as they saw you pull up. All you had to do was walk in and pay, really. As per usual you sat down in the comfy little sofa chair in the corner and waited for one of the boys to bring your food.
Soon, you saw Harua holding a tray with your coffee and cake on it and he had a wide smile on his face. His smile was literally contagious, sometimes you smiled when you saw him smile without even realising it, it just always warmed your heart so much.
"hey Harua~"
"hey y/n~. How are you?"
"Good, you?"
"Good. Tired but good." he said, the smile never leaving his face.
"I'm so sorry for keeping you up so late." you apologised once again.
"y/n, it's okay, we both got carried away, stop blaming yourself." he said to you.
"Okay okay."
"y/n, I was wondering, do you have some time maybe, l- later today?"
"Yeah I do, why?"
"Wanna hang out? We can have a walk round the city, walk on the shore, get ice cream, whatever you want."
"Okay! We can do all of those things, surely."
"Awesome! My shift finishes at six, meet me at the front of the café then."
"Alrighty!"
"See you later y/n" he said, that gorgeous smile still on his face.
"Bye Harua, have a nice shift!" you said back with a wide smile.
When he was no longer in sight you internally screamed and started bouncing around, punching the air and everything. You were so excited you couldn't contain it. You were smiling ear to ear and you were pretty sure you started getting weird looks from people so you stopped. Then you got your phone out to text your bestie all the deets, like always, and then took your first sip of coffee for the.
It was almost like it tasted better today because Harua just asked you to hang out.
