If ever a routine is broken then it will definitely make situations messy.

Jeon's household was a little silent even though it was beyond anyone's understanding as to why?

Unlike other days, everyone was at the dining table for dinner except Taehyung and of course our master chef Jin without whom everything feels incomplete.

Jin had a mishap at his restaurant so he has to even without his own will run some errands. Jeongguk helped him out to solve the initial issue which was the fire that broke out. Even though they're rich, Jin would always try to be humble and down to earth. He dealt with things like a normal almost middle-class person would do. For example, he has insurance for his restaurant and this is the thing which Jeongguk dealt with. Jeongguk made sure Jin faced no problem with the paperworks even though it was completely his problem to deal with it. But then it's between Jeongguk and his Jin hyung.

Jin currently has been fixing things that could bring his restaurant back to its original state without much hassle. It won't be a big problem for Jin as the fire wasn't that dangerous.

Anyway, moving on, everyone knows why Jin is missing from dinner but no one has an idea as to why Taehyung is missing. That boy is strictly forbidden from missing any of his meals.

"Where is Tae?" Surprisingly Namjoon threw the question which took the others a little off guard.

"I thought he had already finished his dinner?" Hobi replied as he stopped his spoon mid-air, not taking the first bite.

"Did he say so?" Namjoon questioned back as Hobi shook his head and dropped the spoon back to his bowl.

"Is he skipping his meals?" This time it was Yoongi's stern voice that made everyone crease their eyebrows due to sudden worry.

"Guk-ah? Why are you so quiet? Did he or did he not eat his dinner? You must know?" Jimin, who was back early from his afternoon shift, asked Jeongguk who stared at them one by one and then sighed.

"You will be surprised, Jimin hyung but I don't know. When he was small, he used to lock me inside the room and now he has started locking himself inside the room." Jeongguk said as he rubbed his forehead with his thumb and forefinger.

"What? Is something wrong with my Taetae?" Jimin almost screamed and stood up abruptly making Hobi flinch badly beside him.

"I think so. If it were other times I would eat up his head so that he would tell me the reason that's bothering him but I realized that he is growing up and people their age usually don't like much interference in their life so I didn't question him much." Jeongguk reasoned out as Jimin's eyebrows creased due to worry and confusion.

"You're not wrong, Guk-ah but that doesn't mean you won't want to know what's wrong." Namjoon said as he sighed, pushing his plate a little further.

"I don't know why we're still discussing if something is wrong when we must go and talk to him. If none of you are going, I'll go." Yoongi announced as he stood up with worry etching his pale yet beautiful features.

"I'll go with you too, Yoongi-ah." Namjoon spoke up as soon as Yoongi stood up.

"Uh, I think it's better if Jeongguk goes." Jimin suddenly spoke up, stopping both of the impatient father figures who were almost rushing to their sulking child.

"I think so too. Even if something is wrong, he would at least talk to him rather than us. If he doesn't even say the reason, if Guk asks him to come for dinner, he won't deny." Hobi backed up Jimin as Jeongguk glanced at his hyungs nervously.

Nervously, yes. That's the actual reason why Jeongguk didn't bug Taehyung when according to him, Taehyung locked himself up in the room. If anyone's wondering, sadly no, nothing went downhill or uphill in the car between the both of them. Still Jeongguk is nervous? Yes. Because that's simple human nature.

Jeongguk has always seen his baby devil as a literal baby but just maybe throughout the years, this thought completely left his mind that babies eventually grow up. He realized it today.

When in the car, Taehyung pulled Jeongguk abruptly too close, invading his personal space, Jeongguk realized his little devil baby boy was turning into a fine and dashing man. The close proximity didn't make him feel anything unusual as they have always been this close-touchy. But today a thought crossed his mind- it's normal to their eyes but not to others eyes.

Jeongguk is such a person- a mafia, who obviously doesn't give a flying fuck of what others think but here he does give a flying fuck, he has to give a flying fuck because this is his baby we're talking about. The only person who holds the string to his body, mind and heart.

The closeness that has developed throughout the years between him and his baby is nothing but pure affection to him. He knows there is nothing more or less to it but the outside world definitely doesn't think that way. He knows it's difficult to stop being closely affectionate with someone with whom you're only affectionate but Jeongguk in the car realized that he needs to create some boundaries. Boundaries are very important because they're not five and fifteen anymore.

Hence, nervousness. He didn't know how to make his baby understand this because there is no way his baby devil would hear or even give an ear to this decision. He would blatantly reject it without second thoughts but he needs to make him understand.

He knows his care and worry for his baby is ten folds bigger than his stupid nervousness, therefore without much thought he decided his mind can wait a little till he talks about creating boundaries. Currently, his baby probably needs him because when his baby is being a handful, till date only he can deal with him.

"Guk? If you're not going, I'll go." Yoongi spoke up stubbornly as he threw a deep glare towards him because by now Yoongi is losing patience, this is about his munchkin.

"No, you guys start eating, I'll be back with him." Jeongguk spoke up, giving them an assuring smile.

They all settled down back around the dining table as Yoongi and Namjoon still looked disturbed.

"Don't worry, you two. Guk has gone, there is no way Taetae would decline him for anything." Jimin assured the two overly worried men who finally let out a breath of relief.

"Of course. A person can decline anyone except the one they are in love with." Hobi snorted out and suddenly the entire dining table was surrounded by an eerie tension.

"I am sorry but I think I am missing something here. Who's in love with whom? That's not how you say it Hoba." Namjoon chuckled as Jimin tensed up beside Hobi. Jimin very subtly kicked Hobi's leg under the table who yelped but still didn't understand the reason behind the hit.

"That's not how I say, what?" Hobi questioned, genuinely confused as Jimin inhaled a deep breath. Yoongi beside them nervously laughed out to ease the situation a bit.

"Hoba, just eat your food yeah?" Yoongi kept his nervous laugh intact yet his words came out in between his gritted teeth.

"It's okay, Yoongi-ah! Hoba, what I mean is you should say Tae wouldn't decline because he loves Jeongguk not because he is in love with him. That makes it, he is in love with him, romantically." Namjoon explained with a small chuckle as Jimin and Yoongi joined him to clear the very evident tension.

"I still don't know what I said wrong, though?" Hobi asked, genuinely oblivious of the damage he caused.

The entire table felt silent. The tension from before became heavier and Namjoon dropped his chopsticks on the table clumsily and faced the three who had three different expressions.

Jimin fiddled with his fork around his almost untouched food, making sure not to make eye-contact. Yoongi was almost on his toes, one wrong turn and he would be ready to throw explanations. Hobi, well the real culprit Hobi still was oblivious, not knowing where he went wrong but after the prolonged silence, his eyes comically went wide and he realized what his always excited and ranting mouth caused.

"Tae- Taehyung is in love with Jeongguk? Hobi didn't say it wrong but I just misunderstood him? Taehyung loves Jeongguk, romantically?" Namjoon asked no one in particular as he stared at the three without blinking.

"You guys knew. Wow! I was so oblivious and dumb. Of course you guys know that's why you were trying to stop Hobi and you both don't even look surprised." Namjoon mumbled as he scoffed a little.

"H-Hyung- please- they-" Jimin's voice shivered as Namjoon abruptly stopped him.

"They? Jeongguk is in love with him too? Oh my God, this- this-" Namjoon mumbled to himself as he shook his head.

"We don't know if Jeongguk loves him back l-like that but Joon please j-just-"

"Good. Yoongi, It's good that Jeongguk doesn't love him back like that. He shouldn't. If he is conscious enough, he won't." Namjoon spoke up, his voice turning stern, his eyes held an unknown rage. A certain rejection. The rejection Taehyung always was scared of.

"Joon hyung, please don't say this. Taehyung was always scared of this. Please don't break his heart." Hobi said as he felt his heart breaking. He couldn't help but blame himself. This was all his own fault.

"I-I am very liberal. I am extremely understanding and I always support love irrespective of what but this- I cannot. It's not even about their age gap, which I must add is also a reason but they have literally grown up together. How can you fall in love with someone you have raised with your own hands and care? If Tae is my child, he is supposed to be like a child to Jeongguk as well. You understand how wrong and vile this entire thing is?" Namjoon explained as he saw how Jimin shivered, his tears clearly dropping on the dining table.

"It's not wrong. IT IS NOT WRONG." Jimin replied sternly standing up as his cheeks were drenched with warm tears flowing from his eyes. His heart was bleeding for his little Taetae, who he nurtured as his own baby.

"Jimin-ah, you have to understand.. " Namjoon spoke up a little softly this time as Jimin strongly shook his head.

"You love Jin hyung. You think none of us know that? You both have grown up together as well. If my Taetae is wrong then you're wrong too." Jimin accused Namjoon who just stared at him blankly.

"Jimin-ah, I know you're not in your correct mind right now that's why I am letting this slide but because you have already raised this up, Jin hyung and I are completely different. We grew up together but as friends. Jimin-ah, Guk raised Tae like his own child, it may not seem like incest but it's almost like incest." Namjoon explained, his concerns coming up more than his reasons.

"But they love each other." Hobi didn't want to but he intervened as Namjoon chuckled.

"Are you sure? Because none of you guys know what Jeongguk feels." Namjoon counterbacked as Jimin lifelessly sat down on the chair. He was about to slip and fall when Yoongi held him strongly, pulling him closer to his own chest.

"Joon-ah, maybe it's wrong, it's unethical, I had thought this at first as well but I just want to say this that no one can love them more than themselves." Yoongi explained, his eyes held a certain determination, almost challenging Namjoon's reasons.

"I want to be really understanding and really open-minded but this is my son and my brother we're talking about. I don't care what the outside world says, what society says, I don't even care what anyone says but to me, it does sound vile and wrong. They may love each other the most and no one might be able to love them like they do but what's wrong, remains wrong even if we become extremely understanding." Namjoon said looking anywhere other than their eyes as Yoongi chuckled.

"Can't believe a person like you is giving such an orthodox statement. It's love. They're not even related. I don't see anything wrong or vile in this. It suddenly feels like the outside world matters to you more than your close ones." Yoongi snorted as he felt Jimin's sobs dying down a bit.

"Joon hyung, I understand you find it wrong, Yoongi hyung also had the same opinion as you in the beginning but then he saw the love with his own eyes. People say, emotions and feelings are like air, you can't see them but you can feel them but I'll make you believe that the love that Taehyung has for Guk- you will be able to see it with your own eyes. Tell me, hyung, if you see it then will you try and understand them?" Jimin asked as he gulped down his remaining sobs and faced Namjoon.

Namjoon kept quiet as Jimin furrowed his eyebrows. He knew something was wrong. He knew his Namjoon hyung enough to know, he was hiding something.

"Hyung, what are you hiding? You're not even looking at us. Tell me, we won't judge you, we will understand you. We promise." Jimin suddenly said as Yoongi and Hobi stared at Jimin with confused eyes.

"I am not against them, Jimin-ah. I thought lying throughout this conversation could make you guys understand- make myself understand that whatever I am saying is right. I love them yet I keep saying they're wrong and vile because I just want to protect them. People will call me a villain and they will be against me but these are the only reasons I can give to be against them. It's just a lot of things which will stand as obstacles in their path of love. There will be hindrances which they may not be able to cross. I don't want my children to suffer. If it's still in my hand, I would want to stop it till it flows into something deeper and stronger." Namjoon finally whispered out as Jimin cried out again as Yoongi smiled sadly. Hobi kept quiet throughout the conversation because he still blamed himself.

"Y-You were lying throughout- you don't think they're wrong or vile." Jimin spoke in between his cries as Namjoon slowly smiled but hid it well under his sternness.

"I think they're wrong because I want to protect them. I don't want them hurt. If my rejection stops them then let me be the villain." Namjoon said as Yoongi laughed a little. Jimin wiped his tears harshly as Hobi stared at Namjoon and smiled. Maybe, afterall, it wasn't a problem, spilling the truth.

"I am afraid in front of Taehyung's love, your fake rejection will vanish a bit too quickly." Yoongi said as Namjoon pouted and sat down.

"I'll try my best to stop them. Now let's stop all these and see if they're coming down." Namjoon said as the three stared at him with a frown on their face.

"No hyung. You won't stop them. Please, there are already a lot of hindrances on their path, if you are one too, they will be heartbroken." Jimin uttered as he sat down beside Namjoon.

"I am hungry. Are they coming or not?" Namjoon mumbled as Yoongi sighed looking at Jimin's sad face. Hobi looked towards Yoongi and then Jimin and pouted a litte. He couldn't help but blame himself still.

While this was going on downstairs, Jeongguk walked up to his little devil's room. He inhaled a deep breath and then knocked on the closed door in front of him.

"B-Baby.." Jeongguk stuttered out and then cursed himself inside his head. For God's sake Jeongguk stop being such a coward, you're a mafia.

Jeongguk gave himself a prep talk and then knocked on the door again.

"Baby, please open the door." Jeongguk said a bit loudly this time as he sighed when he heard no movements from the other side of the door.

"Baby, if you don't open it right now I will use the spare key and open it." Jeongguk threatened as he finally heard the lock click and the door opening slowly as Taehyung peeked a little from behind the door.

"You're unfair, Boba." Taehyung mumbled as Jeongguk chuckled a little and pushed the door a little more to open it properly.

"Why are you missing dinner, baby? And why did you lock yourself in the room, hm?" Jeongguk asked as Taehyung whined and walked behind Jeongguk who was walking in front of him.

"I-I didn't want to Boba, I-I just didn't have any appetite." Taehyung stuttered out while he fiddled with his fingers.

"You think you can fool me? Baby, I understand it right away, when you're trying to hide something." Jeongguk said sternly as he turned towards Taehyung and gave him a hard stare.

"Boba, I-I-" Taehyung mumbled as he glanced away from Jeongguk's stare.

"What is it baby? What's troubling you?" Jeongguk asked, now genuinely worried as Taehyung walked forward and wrapped his arms around Jeongguk's waist and hid his face into his Boba's smooth neck.

Jeongguk's breath hitched and he didn't hug back. His previous thoughts rushed back immediately. This is what he was talking about. He needs to stop this. It's fine as they are now confined within the four walls but when the outer world watches them like this, they would raise nasty questions and he cannot let that happen.

"Ggukiee, nothing is troubling me but I am just very tired and I needed this the most. You're the medicine to all my troubles anyway." Taehyung mumbled into Jeongguk's neck as his lips touched the place giving Jeongguk's skin unwanted goosebumps.

"Baby, let's go eat dinner then, hm? Everyone is waiting." Jeongguk spoke softly as he didn't want to indulge in the previous thoughts as he softly patted his baby's hair.

"Alright, Guku. I can't go against you ever. Your words are the final words for me, always." Taehyung said as let his lips linger on Jeongguk's neck for a few seconds before pulling back completely. His heart screamed at him to just give in and leave a kiss there but his mind knew better and stopped him.

"Let's go." Jeongguk replied as he slowly walked ahead of Taehyung, leaving Taehyung's room as the said boy looked towards his well-built back.

Taehyung thought back a little and realized he cannot let his heart take over his senses so easily. Just because of the small moment in the car, he literally locked himself in his room. If he goes ahead and does something more, he will probably jump down from a tall building.

He shook his head and walked out of his room after closing the door shut behind him.

He walked out of the door understanding clearly that his Boba was suddenly being less affectionate towards him and probably it's because of his own fault.

I hope this chapter wasn't too confusing for you. Namjoon is not against them but he is scared that they will face a lot of problems in their life because of their love. Don't blame him because as a father figure to both of them, he is extremely worried and scared for them. Don't get angry with Joon.👀

Namjoon has almost approved, now only Jin and the main person is left.😌😌😌😌

As promised, here is an early update! I'll post the next part soon as well! I hope you're as eager as I am.🤭🤭🤭🤭
