"Remember Allie, be home before 3, I wanna hit the road before all the traffic starts. You still gotta help me load our suitcases." My mom says to me as I was getting ready for school.

"Mom, we're staying for 3 days not 3 weeks." I say to her and roll my eyes. She looks at me disapprovingly. "You don't think I know that? You still have to help me missy. Because I am your mother. Now go before you're late to school." My mom says to me and I huff.

School wasn't that bad today, I told Cameron that I was going to see Jeremiah play football, and that I'd be gone all weekend.

He told me to wish Jeremiah luck and to send him snaps of his playing. Or any live updates I can do.

I told a few of my other friends I had made this semester.

Once I got home I helped my mom pack everything and we headed off to Finch University which was about an hour or two from Cousins beach.

The ride was fine, my mom and I bumped to some party music like Regard, Diplo, Jacks Jones. Just so my mom could stay hyped while she drove.

We stopped to eat an hour in and we were beginning to see some college kids. We knew we were getting close.

Once we finally arrived, we stayed at a nearby hotel room that was cheap. Jeremiah's game was actually on Saturday, but his depute practice game was tonight.

My mom and I quickly checked into our room
And put all our belongings into there as well.

We then walked to the university and got to the stadium. We walked through the crowd and there were a decent amount of people who showed up just to see these guys practicing for tomorrow.

Some random girls put up signs that had Jeremiah's jersey number.

"We should of got a sign for Jere." My mom whispers to me and I shrug.

I would of been too embarrassed to do one anyways..

We eventfully found Steven, Belly and Laurel sitting down directly across from Jeremiah and his team.

We took our seats behind them, and of course they saw us. Belly screeched when she saw me smiling.

"Allie! You're here finally! Jeremiah and Steven have been bullying me all week. How's everything with Conrad too? Did he finally remember your birthday?" She asks me questions and I laugh.

"Uh, first of all, Steven! Don't bully Belly, secondly it's going good! He got me this necklace and on the back has Conrad's name as well." I say to her smiling and Steven rolls his eyes at my attempt to stop him from being mean to his sister.

"Guys, the game is starting!" My mom says as she makes all of us including Laurel to pay attention to the practice.

I could immediately see Jeremiah. The quarterback is kind of hard to miss anyways.

As soon as he hiked the ball he gets blitzed and sacked. I could hear my mom yelling at the offense because they should of guarded him better. It was true, that could of easily been avoided if the players saw it sooner.

The first half of the game was the same way. Towards the end of the first half he threw a pick six, which means he threw it to the other team and they ran it in for a touchdown for themselves.

Some people were booing him but I knew he was more frustrated with himself. I felt bad for him, I think he was just nervous. My mom kept saying how it will be okay because it's just a practice. Laurel thinks it will be even worse tomorrow since they would be versing a real team.

I had faith in Jeremiah though, because if anyone knew Jeremiah well enough it was me. I knew my best friend could pull it off

Once the 2nd half started he was playing a little better after every play. He got his team all the way to first and goal. My mom was standing up at this point and I even got up when he was just inches away with scoring the touchdown. He kept staying in the pocket, and we all knew that he could run it in.

And that's exactly what he did, since they were only losing by 10 points they decided to go for another chance to touchdown. Jeremiah hiked the ball and he saw an opening and took it.

The whole crowd cheered and he pointed to the sky smiling, something a lot of athletes do.

We all high-fived eachother and cheered.

The once booing fans were not cheering him on. We just needed one more touchdown and we would be in the lead again.

When the game ended we went down to the field with everyone else and cheered with the team. Even though they lost, it was still a good game. Jeremiah showed himself worthy of being a quarterback on the team.

Belly ran up to Jeremiah and he picked her up and spun her around. Once I got close to them he let's go of her and pulls me in for a hug.

"How could I forgot my favorite kitten." Him saying that to me made me blush but I was able to hide it with my hair. Once he released me he then hugs my mom then Laurel and Steven.

"What was that about?" I ask Belly and she blushes.

"I don't know, Jere and I kind of got closer this week. But we don't know if we want take things further or not yet. If that's okay with you.." she says to me saying the last part hesitately I just shake my head and fake smile.

"Of course, I let him go remember?" I say to her and she shrugs.

"I just thought.. the fact he called you kitten kind of meant.." I cut her off. "I'm with Conrad remember, that was just the nickname Jeremiah gave me since we were kids. You're totally okay with continuing something with Jere." I say to her and she just smiles.

"Shall we go out to dinner now then?" My mom asks and we all nod our heads, especially Jeremiah. He must be starving.

We gave Jeremiah a chance to change and for all of us to freshen up. My mom booked us a place at a fancy restaurant. One that required outfits that were fancy. My mom of course packed me a flowly dress with heels to match. I tried to protest the heels but it was no use.

My dress was purple and sparkly. It looked really nice and cute honestly. My mom wore black slacks and a nice button up top. She wore short length boots that were kind of her comfort shoes.

I of course was the only one wearing heels. Which made me extremely self conscious. Even Belly was wearing flats. The moment I saw Jeremiah I felt my breath was taken away. He looked perfect, he just washed his hair so it was a mix between dry and wet, which made his blue eyes pop out even more. He wore the same suit he wore to prom except he had a tie that matched my silver sparkles.

"Oh, look at that you two are matching." Belly points out causing Jeremiah to laugh and me to blush.

I showed Conrad what I was wearing and he told me to take a picture of everyone at the dinning table.

Jeremiah grabs Belly's hands and pulls her in for a long hug. "You look beautiful my little belly button." He says as he wrinkles his nose at her, she laughs and looks away.

"You.. look good your self Jeremiah Fisher." She says and he pouts, "just good?" He asks pretending to be offended.

"You look amazing, if you were a skittle, you'd be the first one I'd eat." She says to him and they both laugh.

I tried to ignore their conversation, and Steven is able to do that for me.

"Everything okay with you and Conrad?" He asks me and I look at him and roll my eyes.

"Why does everyone always ask me that question.." I say to him frustrated. He shrugs, "I don't know, you just don't seem happy." He says and I laugh.

"Well, senior year isn't all puppies and rainbows like how everyone says it is." I say lying through my teeth, but he buys it anyways.

"Hey, you know you just had to choose your cards right. Then you can do the easy classes or dual credits. You obviously didn't take my upper class man advice last year. Typical." His comment made me laugh.

Once we all got to the restaurant, Jeremiah sat across from me and Belly right beside me. The moms fasted across from each other and we all ate.

"So, nervous for tomorrow Jerebear?" Laurel asks to Jeremiah and he shrugs, "I think I'll do fine. The other team isn't that good anyways. I've been practicing their plays all week long." He says and takes another bite of his meal.

"That's the Spirit, I except a win tomorrow then." My mom says to him fake sternly.

The waiter comes back and I take this opportunity to get them to take a picture of all of us.

"Everyone say cheese." We all smiled as the waiter took 2-3 pictures of us. We took quite a few pictures since a lot of us wanted our own pictures with our phones.

We were sure to put 25% tip for our waiter for being so kind to us. Laurel and my mom split the bill Laurel paid a little more than half since she wanted to pay for my meal since she missed my birthday.

I thanked her and she just smiled at me. I always loved Laurel she was always so kind and caring to me.
