NO ONE'S POV
It's been a few weeks since Natasha and Yelena brought Y/N to the compound. The little girl got along really well with all of the Avengers and she even goes to school. Y/N isn't exactly thrilled about it but she found a few friends, so she's always excited to see them.
It's Y/N's 7th birthday today and both of her sisters are super excited about it. Both want to make the day special for their little sister as it's her first ever birthday outside of the Red Room. Natasha even invited Melina and Alexei to come over.
Y/N's been asking her older sisters about their parents. It's one of the topics the kids at school talk about and it made Y/N wonder what happened to her parents. Natasha explained her little sister everything and even talked to Melina and Alexei who are super excited about being introduced to Y/N as her parents.
"Wakey, wakey, Y/N. You have a big day ahead of you" Natasha smiles, sitting on Y/N's bed and running her fingers through Y/N's hair.
"It's Saturday, Natty" Y/N mumbles after letting out a groan, turning her back at Natasha.
"It is, but it's your birthday today. Or do you want me to tell everyone we won't be celebrating your birthday?" Natasha teases, tickling Y/N's back which makes the tiny one laugh and move around the bed to escape Natasha's tickles.
"We celebrate birthday?" Y/N looks at Natasha confused, sitting up and rubbing her eyes.
"We do. We celebrate getting one year older every year" Natasha smiles, brushing Y/N's hair out of her face. "And I think Wanda's making some special birthday pancakes for you, so we should go before Steve eats them all" Natasha teases. Y/N giggles, covering her mouth with her hand. "Come on, my big birthday girl" Natasha chuckles, lifting her sister up and sitting her onto her hip.
Natasha carries Y/N to the kitchen where all the Avengers are already waiting. Y/N rests her head on Natasha's shoulder, playing with Natasha's arrow necklace.
"Happy birthday, Y/N!" Everyone shouts as soon as the pair steps into the kitchen. Confused Y/N shoots her head up, wondering what's happening.
"Happy birthday, baby sister" Yelena walks over to the pair, stealing Y/N from Natasha's arms and giving her a hug. Y/N smiles, her cheeks darkening as she's not used to all the attention she's currently getting.
"There's my little birthday girl" Wanda smiles, taking Y/N into her arms and also giving her a hug. "Would my little monkey like to have pancakes for breakfast?" Wanda asks the little girl, her smile growing bigger when Y/N nods with a smile.
The team eats Wanda's delicious pancakes for breakfast, chatting while doing so. Y/N's mumbling something to Wanda who listens carefully with a smile on her face while eating her own breakfast.
Once they're all done with eating, Natasha takes Y/N's hand in her own, leading her little sister to the living room where are all of her presents waiting, the team following them. Y/N gasps when she sees the entire living room filled with presents and looks up at Natasha who gives her a warm smile, telling her to go and unwrap them.
Y/N shyly walks over to the first present she sees, carefully unwrapping it and gasping when she finds a toy web shooter Peter got her.
"Natty! Lena! Look! I can be like Petey!" Y/N grins, showing her sisters what she got. "Petey! I can help you to catch the bad guys now!" Y/N says, running to Peter and hugging his legs.
While Y/N's opening her presents, Melina and Alexei finally arrives. Natasha sneaks out of the living room when Y/N's overwhelemed with her new toys, and goes to greet her parents.
The readhead leads them to the living room, smiling when she sees her little sister interact with her girlfriend. The witch is surely one of Y/N's favorite people in the world.
"Детка, can you come here? I have a surprise for you" Natasha smiles when Y/N makes her way over to her with a big smile on her face, already reaching her arms for Natasha. The redhead lifts her little sister up, turning around to face Melina and Alexei. (baby)
"Look who came to wish you a happy birthday" Natasha says, rubbing Y/N's back.
"Is that... mom Melina and dad Alexei?" Y/N whispers which makes Natasha chuckle and nod, Yelena already greeting her parents with a hug.
"Hi, sweetheart. I'm so happy to finally meet you" Melina starts first, smiling at her youngest daughter who blushes and mumbles a small 'hi' before burying her face into her oldest sister's neck.
"Look who got shy all of a sudden" Natasha chuckles, tickling Y/N's side on which the little one laughs, pushing Natasha's hand away.
"Natty, stop!" Y/N laughs out after another failed attempt of pushing Nat's hand away. Natasha eventually stops, pressing a kiss to her sister's forehead.
"How about you show mom and dad what toys did you get, hm?" Natasha suggests, standing Y/N on the ground. Y/N looks up at Natasha who gives her a warm smile and an encouraging nod, so she shyly takes Melina's and Alexei's hands in hers and drags them to the bunch of toys that are in the middle of the living room.
A few minutes pass and Y/N's already warmed up to her parents, telling them everything that had happened in the past few weeks. That's until Yelena calls the tiny one, wanting to give her one more gift while Natasha's in a conversation with her girlfriend.
Y/N carefully unwraps the heavy gift Yelena got her, confused about what she's found inside.
"Water?" Y/N questions, studying the bottle of vodka. Natasha immediately turns her head, checking up if Yelena's not gifted Y/N what she think she has.
"That's not water, that's-" Yelena starts explaining, immediately getting cut off by her older sister.
"That's not for little girls like Y/N, sweetheart" Natasha says, sitting down on the ground and pulling Y/N onto her lap. "Yelena, are you out of your mind?! She's 7!" Natasha whisper yells at Yelena.
"But it's just water, Natty" Y/N says innocently, wondering why is Natasha so mad at Yelena right now.

The time went by fast and everyone is either asleep or doing their own stuff. Y/N went to bed a few hours ago, making sure to tell Natasha how much she enjoyed today's day which made Natasha really happy.
However, now is Y/N walking towards her sister's room with a teddy bear in her arms, her cheeks stained from tears as she woke up after a horrible nightmare. The little one keeps getting nightmares about the Red Room. It's getting better, but she still has them time to time.
Y/N walks to the side her sister sleeps on, trying to not wake Wanda up as she's sleeping on the other side of the bed.
"Natty?" Y/N whispers, shaking Natasha's hand to wake her up. "Natty?" She tries again after no response, pulling Natasha's hand a little harder.
"Y/N/N, wha- what happened?" Natasha asks, sitting up and rubbing her eyes. She lifts Y/N up, sitting her on her lap, immediately understanding what happened. "Did you have another nightmare?" She asks, stroking Y/N's hair.
"Mhm" Y/N only nods, wrapping her arms around Natasha and pressing her face to her sister's chest.
"It's okay, детка. You're safe with me" Natasha whispers, rubbing Y/N's back and pressing kisses to Y/N's head. (baby)
"Natty, I don't want to leave you" Y/N says, looking up at Natasha with new tears forming in her eyes.
"What do you mean, honey?" Natasha questions, confused by her sister's question.
"I don't want to go with mom and dad. I want to stay with you" Y/N says, Natasha furrowing her brows in response. They never spoke about Y/N leaving with Melina and Alexei, so she has no idea how Y/N came up with this.
"Sweetheart, you don't have to go anywhere. You're staying here with me. How that came up to your mind?" Natasha asks, wiping Y/N's tears away.
"Because kids live with their parents. But I want to live with you" Y/N explains. Natasha smiles, pressing a kiss to Y/N's forehead.
"Y/N/N, I promise you don't have to go anywhere. You're my little sister, I wouldn't give you to anyone" Natasha says with a smile, booping Y/N's nose. Y/N smiles in response, wrapping her arms around Natasha once again and giving her sister a hug.
"I love you, Natty" Y/N mumbles, struggling to keep her eyes open. Natasha smiles, kissing the top of Y/N's head in response.
"I love you too, Y/N/N"

Also, am I the only one who didn't know Lizzie is supposed to play a lesbian in The Assessment? I only just read an article that said it and I'm literally freaking out right now!
