Audrianna's POV
Today was Halloween and I was dressed up as Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter. She's one of my favorite characters and I'm blonde, so it all works out.
I heard Henry and Charlotte's screams as they got out of the elevator.
Henry was dressed up as a zombie tennis player and Charlotte was dressed up as mac n' cheese.
"You alright?" Henry asked Charlotte
"Yeah, but I think I dropped a noodle."
"Hey, happy Halloween guys!" I smiled brightly
"Happy Halloween Dri."
"Happy Halloween."
"Why are you guys here? Aren't you guys supposed to be trick or treating?"
"Yeah but Ray triple beeped me."
From out of nowhere my dad jumped in the room in a.. cheer lobster costume?
"Happy Halloween!" he dad clicked his lobster claws "Look. I'm a cheer lobster." he started dancing weirdly
"Cheer lobster?" I looked at him in disbelief
"Is that, like, a thing?" Henry asked
"Yeah, it's a thing. Look. Go team! Please don't boil me! Or use a tiny fork to remove my flesh and eat me!" my dad cheered
"This mentally and physically pains me." I replied, unamused
"You look more like a lobster than a cheerleader." Henry chimed in
"Well, there was no room for lobster boobs."
"Why did you beep Henry?" Charlotte pointed to Henry's watch
"So you guys could come see my cool costume." my dad replied
"Aw, Ray, I had to zap my little sister to come here."
"You killed her?" I asked
"No. I just stunned her. Wait, I think it was set to stun. Stun is blue, and kill is red, right?"
"I don't know, I can never remember."
"Can we please go trick-or-treating?" Charlotte pleaded
Suddenly, the emergency alarm blared.
"Uh-oh. Trouble." my dad ran to the monitors
He tried to grab the remote but he couldn't because his lobster claws were getting in the way.
"Oh, shellfish. What's up, Gooch?"
"You just recieved a video."
"From who?" I wondered
"From a man who claims to have captured Kid Danger." we all looked back at Henry
"Play the video." my dad ordered
Gooch played the video and a fat man showed up "Hey, Captain Man. It's your old friend---"
"Pause!" My dad demanded
"Ugh, Jeff. That guy is so stupid!" I gritted through my teeth
"How do you know him?" Henry questioned
"He's been a petty thief in Swellview for years. I put him in jail, like, a dozen times." my dad explained "Resume play."
"So guess what? I kidnapped your sidekick."
"Aw, please don't be Jasper, please don't be Jasper." Henry pleaded
"It's gonna be Jasper." Charlotte said
"Take a look." Jeff turned the camera around to face a tied up Jasper
Henry sighed "It's Jasper.."
"What a surprise twist." I muttered
"Hey, isn't that kid your friend with the sweaty hands who loves buckets?" my dad asked
"That's him."
"How can that Jeff guy think Jasper's the real Kid Danger?" Charlotte wondered
"Oh, well, see.. it's because he's a moron." My dad said
"Oh, and I also kidnapped Kid Danger's woman." Jeff turned the camera to face a girl who was also tied up next to Jasper "Now, if you ever wanna see him again, you better bring me, like..like A million dollars. Oh and I want two big n beefys from Inside out burger. With fries. And don't forget the million dollars."
"What? Is that guy insane?" Henry asked
"Yeah." I agreed "Nobody can eat two big n beefys."
Henry scoffed "Not with fries."
"Whatever." my dad got out his gum "Let's go, Henry and Dria, let's go rescue your friend."
"I.. I can't go with you guys."
Me and my dad turned around.
"Why can't you?" Charlotte asked
"Because, Jasper really likes that girl."
"So?" I ask
"He made her think that he's Kid Danger. So, now if I show up there with you she's gonna know he was lying."
"Don't you think Jasper should find a girl who likes him for who he really is?"
Henry sighed "You know that's never gonna happen."
He has a point.
"Alright. We'll go rescue your friend." my dad gave in
"Okay but when you're there, you gotta act like Jasper's the real Kid Danger."
"We know how to act."
Me and my dad blew a bubble which made us transform into our uniforms as we headed under our tubes.
"Good luck!" Henry said
"We don't need luck. It's Jeff." I rolled my eyes and my dad pressed his belt buckle
"Up the tube.." my dad said dryly as we both got shot up

Captain Man and I arrived at Jeff's apartment and I opened the door.
"Captain Man and Danger Girl." Monica smiled brightly
"Uh-oh." Jasper said
I before rolled my eyes and groaned and closed the door before kicking it down making my dad's eyes widen.
"Dude, the door wasn't even locked." Jeff said
"I know, Jeff. But we don't like you. So I smashed your door." I smiled sarcastically
"I don't see any burgers. Where are my big n beefys?"
God, this guy was really testing my non-existent patience.
"The only thing that you're going to get that's big and beefy will be your cell mate in jail." Captain Man spat out
"Okay, well, when do I get my million dollars?"
I felt my eye twitch in rage.
"Okay, you're too stupid to talk to. Sit." I demanded as we up to Jasper and Monica
"Hey, Kid Danger, I was worried about you." my dad and I began to untie Jasper
"Thanks, boss. I was worried about you too."
"Well, we knew you didn't need us to take down a petty criminal like Jeff." I gave Jeff a bitter look
"Oh, yeah. I was just about to bust out of those ropes and rain down some pain on that dude."
"Okay, Kid Danger." my dad turned Jasper around to face Jeff "Go to it."
"Huh?"
"Go show that criminal who's boss." I said
"Yeah, Kid Danger, go bust him up!" Monica encouraged him "I love it when boys fight."
"Okay," Jasper was preparing to fight "This what you get for breaking into people's cars and for kidnapping us on Halloween." he punched Jeff on the chest and nothing happened.
I sighed and secretly stunned Jeff as he fell to the ground
"Woah.." Jasper looked at his fist "That was for you, Monica."
"Way to go, K-D."
"Yay, great job, Kid Danger. Hey, can I talk to you for a second?" Captain Man asks
"Yeah, sure." Jasper turned to Monica "My boss needs me."
I felt the sharp pain in my head again for what? The fourth time this week?
My dad immediately noticed "Hey, Danger Girl. How about you sit down for a second?"
"Okay.." I sat down on the sofa and leaned my head back, closing my eyes hoping that the pain would go away.
I felt like today might as well be my last day on Earth. I was pale, my whole body felt numb and I feel like someone just power drilled me on the head.
I hate this.
"Alright, me and Danger Girl are gonna take this idiot back to jail. Let's go kid."
I slowly stood up and walked up to my dad.
"Get up, stupid." I ordered as Jeff immediately got up and started eating chips again.
"Alright, you know what?" I snatched the chips from and started whacking it on him "You are riding my last nerve. Come on. Stop that. Get up." we made Jeff stand back up on his feet as we exited the apartment.
