"Yeah- Yeah. Yes, I understand. Has anyone been hurt?" my dad asked on the phone
"Wait, has anyone called the fire department? What do you mean they're at a softball game?! All of them?"
"Che cosa?? Perché quei pessimi pompieri giocano a softball invece di fare il loro lavoro!?" (What?? Why are those lousy firefighters playing softball instead of doing their jobs!?)
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm on my way but go ahead and call the police. Tell them to bring a tranquilizer gun... What do you mean the police are all playing softball? Oh, they're playing the fire department."
"Oh, you can't speak Italian? It's not my fault you angered an Italiana with your lousy service! Aren't their any other police officers?? Why are all of them gone?!"
"What? Okay, just tell me what floor it's stuck on."
I heard the elevator crashing down as Henry walked out of it "Hey, i'm here."
"We have two emergencies." Charlotte stated
"Whoa. What's going on?" Henry asked worriedly
"There's a vicious alligator running wild through Swellview Park." I announced
"What's a vicious alligator doing in Swellview Park?" Henry asked curiously
"Running wild."
"And somebody's stuck in an elevator on the 79th floor of the Nakatomi Tower." Charlotte added
"Ooh, yikes. What are we going to do?"
"I'll go rescue the person from the stuck elevator. You and Danger Girl go get that alligator." he pat our shoulders
"No, no, no. No way, Ray." Henry stopped him
"You can't make Henry and Dria go get a wild alligator by themselves." Charlotte scolded
"Alright, fine. We'll flip for it. I call heads." my dad pulled out a coin but I smacked it away mid-air
"I'm taking that quarter out of your allowance."
"Dude, you're indestructible. You go get the alligator." I demanded
"Okay, fine. I'll get the elevator, you get the alligator."
"Good." Henry sighed "Wait."
My dad chuckled "You almost fell for it. That alligator would've killed you two."
"Guys!" Charlotte cut us off "Go rescue people."
"Right." My dad pulled out his gumball tube as Henry and I followed
"Let's chew.." Henry began
"Then do." I added as I popped a gumball in my mouth
"Nice one." my dad nodded to Henry and I before we ran under our tubes.
