**Thank you @morgan28 for the lovely banner**

Monday mornings tend to suck in general, but this week mine was worse than usual. I had Rachel blabbing her mouth off to anyone who would listen, about how I was some frigid bitch and how she'd been more than happy to shag my boyfriend seeing as I wouldn't.

I just rolled my eyes at her as her and her friends pointed and giggled as I walked past them in the hallway. I knew what had happened and so did my friends. That was all that mattered.

That morning in class, Kelly, one of the more popular girls in college, but not one of Rachel's minions came and asked me if I was okay because of what Rachel was saying. Instead of just nodding and telling her I was fine, I filled her in on what actually happened. Her face was priceless.

"Oh my god, she's such a hoe. Who actually goes after someone for revenge?" She says shocked and I nod in agreement.

"Tell me about it, I didn't do anything to her in the first place but she seems to have this vendetta against me."

"Don't worry, karma will get her eventually. I just wanted to make sure that you were okay. What she's saying is horrible."

"Thanks Kelly, I'm okay. It's her that looks pathetic not me."

She went back to her work and I saw her pull her phone out, no doubt texting her friends what she'd heard. She was a nice girl but loved to know what was going on with everyone, so I can't say I was surprised when she came over to speak to me wanting to know the gossip.

The rest of the day passed rather quickly, with Ash dropping me off at mine before heading out with Tina. She wanted him to make it up to her for me 'stealing' him over the weekend.

I rolled my eyes at him but held my tongue from actually ranting to him about her, he knew how I felt and I wasn't letting her win by arguing with my best friend.

Tuesday was pretty much the same as Monday, apart from people were talking about Rachel and not me. Kelly and her friends must have put everyone straight with what actually happened on the weekend. It only happened four days previous but it feels like it happened a while ago.  I think I saw her face turn bright red and steam come out of her ears as I walked into the diner at lunch and passed where she was sat.

I was laughing with Ayla when I heard her shout after me. "I don't know why you're making up all these lies about me Lyd. It wasn't my fault Chase came to me looking for something you wouldn't give him."

The diner seemed to quieten down rather quickly as she shouted that after me. I saw Ayla spin on her heels to face her and open her mouth to reply when I placed a hand on her arm to stop her.

"Rachel, seriously, get over yourself. You're nothing but some cheap, spiteful bitch. I know what actually happened with Chase and so do you and it doesn't leave you in a very good light. I'm guessing the majority of people think they know what happened but unless you want the whole of the college to actually know what happened, I'd keep your mouth shut."

"Oh please. Rachel was just doing Chase a favour. You weren't giving your boyfriend what he wanted so he went to Rachel who was more than happy to help him out. You're nothing but some stuck up, frigid bitch. No wonder Chase went looking somewhere else." Nina, one of her minions says loudly, making the canteen buzz with mummers.

"Oh really, that's what happened?" Ayla says and Nina nods enthusiastically.

"Right, okay. Nina you weren't there, so I'll fill you in on all the little details that your leader missed out on, so you don't make a bigger fool of yourself sticking up for her." I say coming to stand right in front of her. "Chase is one of Rachel's brother friends. I met him on New Year's Eve and yes we kissed. No big deal. Then as you remember not long after we came back after Christmas holidays, Ash, my best friend, dumped Rachel because she was being a complete bitch to me. Her own fault; not mine. But in Rachel's twisted mind this was somehow my fault that Ash had dumped her and went after me for revenge. She knew that Chase fancied her, so she used it for her own benefit and promised him they could be together if he did this little thing for her. It just happened to be a bonus for her that I already knew Chase. She asked Chase to pursue me and seduce me, to break my heart; all as payback for Ash humiliating her in front of everyone. I found all this out after I walked in on them having sex, not long after I was in there myself with Chase; and no I didn't sleep with him." I say to her, loud enough for the majority of the diner to hear as well. "So there you have it, I'm not some frigid bitch. I'm just not the type of girl who shags any guy who shows her a slight bit of interest. I have respect for myself, unlike some people we know."

"You're lying." Rachel screams standing up.

"I couldn't make that up if I tried." I say smirking at her. "I wasn't going to say anything about what happened, just move on and learn from it. But you brought it into college, spreading lies and rumours about me. Now all I've done is set everyone straight, and made sure everyone knows how much of a spiteful bitch you are."

"I'll get you back for this Lyd, watch your back."

"I haven't done anything Rachel but tell everyone the truth, this...all this..." I say holding my hands up, "It's your fault. You brought it on yourself."

With that I walked off with Ayla linking her arm through mine as we went and bought our lunch.

"I love you so much for finally putting her in her place." Ayla grins at me, squeezing my arm.

"I'm not scared of saying something anymore. I'm sick and tired and the girls Ash dates thinking they can walk all over me. I need to learn to stick up for myself and not let Ash have to pick up the pieces every time."

"As long as you still let me do it sometimes," Ash whispers down my ear, scaring the shit out of me.

"Oh my god, you idiot." I say laughing, and hitting his chest. Somehow not dropping my lunch.

"Sorry," he grins cheekily at me and I shake my head in amusement, walking back to our table.

"But I still mean it; I like to feel useful every now again."

I smile over at my best friend and nod my head at him, "Only sometimes."

"I can't help it if I'm protective over you. It's my job as best friend you know."

"Yea I know." I smile back at him, as Lois leans in to me and whispers, "Those stupid words again hey."

I wink at her and nod. Those stupid words.

Best Friend.

"I'm so proud of you Lou,"

"Thanks Ash."

"Definitely regret ever dating or doing anything with her."

"I could have told you she was a bitch beforehand Ash." Lois chuckles, making us all laugh.

"You bloody should have, saved us all the grief." He grins.

"Well I know someone else who we should warn you against Ash." Ayla grins and I roll my eyes in amusement. Ash didn't say anything this time.

"Well, I for one can see why Rachel did it." Tina mutters from beside him.

"You would." Georgia snaps back.

I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket as the girls and Tina bicker back and forth. Ash wasn't paying attention to them now as he spoke with his friends and the twins.

It was a message off my dad.

[We're going round for dinner at Ash's tonight, so no need for him to drop you off here after college. X]

Good job I kept clothes at Ash's place so I could change.

[Okay, this for any particular reason or we just going...! X]

[No reason, just family catch up time. NO EXTRAS this time! Tell Ash. ;) x]

I burst out laughing at what my dad had put in the message; I was going to have so much fun telling Tina this.

"What's up?" Ayla asks me and I shake my head still chuckling to myself as I reply.

[Dad you've just made my day, I'll pass the message on. See you tonight.x]

"Ash no need to drop me off at mine later, I'm having dinner at yours tonight." I say putting my phone on the table. Ash went to say something but was cut off.

"Sorry, but we've got plans tonight. You can't come round." Tina says from across the table.

"Well sorry, but family comes first. And my family is joining Ash's for dinner tonight, so you'll have to change your plans." I smirk back at her.

"Well she can join us cant she?" Ash says quietly and I shake my head.

"It seemed fine for me to join you all last time." Tina pipes up, with a shit eating grin on her face.

"Would hardly call gate crashing your way into a dinner to get an invitation fine but each to their own and all." Lois replies and us girl laugh along with her.

"I didn't gate crash; I got my times mixed up."

"Bullshit," I reply to her, "And if that's the case you're thicker than a ten year old, because they can tell the time better than you can."

"Lou just leave it yea, it happened and it was a mistake."

"Oh whatever Ash. Either way I have specific orders off my dad that it's family only this time, so it must be important and private. It says no extras."

"I don't believe you." Tina says crossing her arms across her chest.

I pick my phone up and open up the message from my dad and show Ash my phone.

"So yea, no extras tonight sorry." I say locking my phone and putting it in my pocket.

"Does it really say that Ash?" Tina asks pathetically and he nods.

"Sorry, this is family only. We can just do something another night, it's not like we had anything important planned."

"We were hanging out, that's important. And you are still making it up to me for her stealing you away from me last weekend."

"Oh my god, get over it. Lyd needed her best friend last weekend. Stop being so needy, it's not attractive." Georgia snaps at her again, making Tina stand up and storm off from the table.

"I best go after her." Ash sighs standing up from the table.

"Just leave her Ash; the girl is giving me a head ache." Joel moans rubbing his temples.

Ayla had gotten up to grab some pudding so Elliot had jumped into her seat next to me.

"So I'm getting you from yours at six thirty tomorrow okay?" Elliot grins at me and I nod.

"Where we going?" I ask and he taps my nose.

"Secret."

"Move it buster, we need girl talk." Ayla chuckles nudging Elliot with her hip.

"I'm going, I'm going." He laughs moving back to his seat.

*~*~*~*

"Hey you two, how was college?" Ash's mum Scarlett shouts as we walk into the house.

"Good." We both reply.

"Dinner will be ready for six-ish guys so make sure you're ready."

"Will do." I reply as we head for the stairs. "Something smells delicious."

"Thank you"

I dump my stuff by Ash's desk and plop down on his bed.

"Today's been a long day." I sigh.

"Tell me about it." Ash yawns lying down next to me. "Did you really have to be that mean to Tina at lunch today?"

"I wasn't mean; I was just passing along the message."

"Was there going to be any harm with her coming tonight though; would have saved me all this agro now."

"I was just passing along the message that it was family only, no one else. Don't blame me for your girlfriend's bad mood."

"Fine, so do you think there's a reason behind this dinner tonight then?"

"No idea, dad said there wasn't but I have a feeling we're about to be told something."

"Yea same. You want to jump in the shower first; I know how long it takes you to get ready."

"You telling me I smell or something?" I ask moving my head to look at him.

I could feel his breath on my lips our faces were that close.

"Yea, you stink Lou." He grinned at me. I poke him gently in the stomach with my elbow and sit up.

"Cheeky shit."

I head into his bathroom and as quickly as I ca take a shower; massaging my favourite watermelon shampoo into my hair. I loved the smell of it. Once I was done I wrap my huge pink fluffy towel around my body and leave the bathroom to comb through my hair. I sit myself down at Ash's desk and sort my hair out as he jumps in after me.

Once my hair was knot free I collapsed back onto Ash's bed. It was only Tuesday but I was shattered, all I wanted to do was sleep. I should be getting changed and ready to go downstairs but I didn't want to move. I hear the shower turn off and a couple of seconds later the door opens. I have to try and stop my jaw from dropping and hitting my chest, Ash walks out looking like a freaking Greek god. His strong shoulders, toned chest and defined abs are still dripping wet, he's only got a towel wrapped around his waist, and another in his hands rubbing it over his head, I swear this boy is trying to kill me.

"You need to get dressed Lou." Ash chuckled looking over at me.

"But I don't want to." I say whining back at him.

"Me neither actually." He laughs lying back down next to me but on his stomach. He was eye level with my face right now, and with the water still dripping from the tips of his hair down his face, it was making him even more attractive, if that was even possible. His hair was stuck to his forehead, and without thinking, I moved my hand to move it off his face, slowly pushing it back.

Once again I see something flash through his eyes as I do this, and his pupils dilate. I want him to kiss me to badly right now, and by how he's looking at me, I feel like he's reading my mind, that he knows what I'm thinking.

I see his eyes flicker to my lips briefly before looking back at me again. My heart is beating crazily under this towel, that right now I just want him to rip off me. My hand is still resting behind his ear, his now have moved to next to my shoulders. If I just slowly pulled him towards me, would he stop me?

"You guys nearly ready?" Dana says walking into the room.

Ash snaps his head to where he sister was stood causing my hand to drop from his neck.

"Never mind." She says quickly before hurrying out.

Fan-freakin-tastic

Another interruption.

"We best get ready." Ash smiles before getting off the bed, holding tight onto my towel. I nod and get up myself, grabbing the clothes I was going to wear and walking into his bathroom.

We didn't speak about what almost happened, I knew what I wanted and Ash seemed to want me then to. But one thing or another always interrupts us; I don't know whether or not I should take it as a sign as we shouldn't be together.

*~*~*~*

Just like last time, dinner wasn't ready on time, so when we traipsed downstairs at six thirty no one batted an eye lid that we were late. The mums were faffing around in the kitchen, making sure everything was cooked and ready to eat, the dads setting up the table and getting everyone's drinks ready, and everyone else were chilling in the living room watching Pointless.

Charlie was even here with Grace and the twins, now I definitely knew something was up. Dad didn't say but there must have been a reason for this dinner.

Ten minutes later we all got called to eat. Scarlett had made a couple of dishes for us all to pick from, Lasagne, Spaghetti Bolognaise and pasta, chicken in pesto dish. Everyone helped themselves to bits of each before settling down to eat.

Once we were all done we let our stomachs settle before tackling dessert, there was always a good pudding whenever we had a family dinner. I was in the middle of talking to Ash, Paul and Fin when my dad cleared his throat and everyone went quiet to hear what he had to say.

"So I know we said there wasn't any particular reason for this family meal tonight, but well, we lied." He chuckles and we all join in.

"Hang on Simon; we're just trying to get Mason and Cayden on face-time so they can be here for this as well." My mum says as her and Scarlett fiddle around with their iPads to ring the boys.

I glance at Ash and raise my eye brow at him, quietly asking if he knew what was going on. He shook his head and shrugged his shoulders at me in response. I look around the room and everyone seemed to be at a loss to what we were being told, that or I was just really bad at reading people.

"Heyyyy" That was Mase.

"Hey baby, I'm going to turn you round so that everyone can see you." My mum says spinning it round and placing it on the table in front of her.

Next we hear "What's up." That was Cayden.

"Okay good that worked, Hi Cayd. Okay everyone is here now, I'm gona turn you round so you can see everyone as well."

"Okay mum. Hey everyone."

"Hey Cayden." We all shout back.

"Hey Cay." Mase shouts and then he shouts back. "Mase, hows it goin?"

Before they could get into a conversation Andy hushed them.

My dad continues his little speech, "Okay well we gathered everyone here because well we may not be related by blood but I see us all as family. So what happens in one affects us all." He smiles and we all nod, this was our family.

Although I DID NOT see Ash as my brother, eww. I shudder at the thought of that, especially with what almost happened upstairs earlier.

My dad nods his head towards Charlie who was grinning like a Cheshire cat at his wife. "Well it was Grace and I who asked mum and Scarlett if they could put on this dinner tonight for us all, we would like to share our amazing news that..."

"Oh my god you're pregnant." I shout out and a grin bursts out onto each of their faces, before they nod.

"We are, we just went for our twelve week scan and everything is looking amazing." Grace says standing up and lifting her top up so we could all see her little bump.

"Oh my god, I'm so happy for you guys." Dana grins getting up and hugging Grace. One by one we all take it in turns to congratulate the couple.

"Is it twins again?" Mase asks once we all quietened down.

"The doctors could only see one this time." Charlie grinned.

"Thank god." Grace laughed, "Two was hard work last time."

"Christina are you okay? You're looking a little pale honey." Scarlett says looking at my sister who was sat opposite me, next to Dana. They shoot each other a glance quickly before Chris stands up.

"Sorry I need to use the bathroom."

And with that she rushes out the room, Dana smiling awkwardly at us all before following her.

"We'll be right back."

For some reason a chill ran down my spine, and I had a funny feeling that we were in for another surprise.

"I'll bet anyone fifty quid she's knocked up." Cayden shouts through from the iPad.

"I was just thinking that Cayden." Fin replies, but he doesn't look happy. Neither does Mase, Charlie or my dad.

"Shit is about to hit the fan." Ash mumbles to me and I nod. The males in our family were very protective, and with Christina being the baby of us all at sixteen, she had it even worse. But if she was pregnant, she knows she'd always have our love and support.

My mum gets up from her chair and heads out of the room. Everyone starts to make small talk for a couple of minutes before the three of them head back into the room.

You could tell that Chris had been crying, her eyes were red rimmed and her cheeks were still tear stained. Mum had her arm wrapped around her for support as they went to sit back down.

"Well what's the verdict?" I ask and Chris stares over at me and smiles slightly.

"Looks like we've got two grandbabies on the way this year." My mum says out loud to everyone happily.

In...three...two...one...

"What the fuck Christina, you're only sixteen."

"Who is your boyfriend?"

"I'm gona kill him."

"Little prick for touching my daughter."

"What's his name? I'm coming home and kicking his arse."

"How have we never met him before?"

"How old is he?"

Those were all the shouting's of the males in our family, I could see Christina was about to burst into tears again so I got up out of my seat, smacked Fin and Charlie on the back of their heads as I pass them and pull my baby sister into a hug.

"Congratulations, you're going to be a great mum." I say to her as she wraps her arms around me tightly.

"Thank you."

Everyone was still shouting at her when I stuck two fingers in my mouth and whistled really loud, shutting everyone up.

"I'm not being funny but this isn't what she needs right now. Yes it's unexpected, yes she's only sixteen and yes we know you haven't met her boyfriend properly yet. But that doesn't matter right now, you will meet him soon and Chris is going to make an excellent mother. All she needs right now is our love and support, not the threats your throwing at her."

"But she's my baby." My dad says quietly.

"Yea I know dad. But when Charlie turned up with Grace and told us she was pregnant, none of you reacted like you just did with Chris, and that was a shock just the same. So can we all just be happy for her and be excited that we've got another niece or nephew on the way."

"She's right." Grace says getting up and coming over to give her a hug. "How far along are you?"

"I'm only eight weeks, I took the test this morning." she replies looking at our parents. "I realised I was late a few weeks ago but I didn't want to face that it could be happening. Then Dana grabbed Kieran this morning and came round with a couple of tests and made me take them, so I'd know for sure. I'm sorry, I didn't plan on this happening but it isand I know you're disappointed in me but my baby isn't going to ruin my life. And it would be really great if I could have all of your support right now."

"Of course you have our love and support darling." My dad says coming over and pulling her into a hug. "It's just a shock, I want you to do so much with your life."

"I will. This isn't going to stop me from finishing my education and being the best role model I can for my baby."

"I know you will."

"I still want to kill your boyfriend." Mase shouts through to us all and I see Fin and Charlie nod their heads in agreement.

"Well you're not here so be quiet." My mum snaps at him.

Once everything was cleared up we ate our dessert in the living room with everyone happily talking about babies and labours. Well the girls were, the boys were keeping out of it and watching the TV and playing with the twins.

"You going to find out what you're having?" I ask. Grace shakes her head but Christina nods.

"We want it to be a surprise this time, we found out with the twins but this one we're waiting."

"I don't want to find out at the scan; I want a gender reveal party." She grins and I start to get as excited as she is. "I'm going to ask the nurse to write the sex down and take it to either a bakery or a party shop where they fill the inside the cake blue or pink, or fill a box with either colour balloons."

"That sounds like fun." Grace smiles.

"I can't wait to start planning your baby showers." My mum says clapping enthusiastically as Scarlett nods in agreement.

So...opinions? What do we think of what happened with Rachel?

Were the girls too mean to Tina?

[Vote/Comment/Fan Me]

(PS) Holy Cow, I've actually hit 250k reads on this story, I'm so happy!
*edit*
I've been reading through these comments about Christina being pregnant and I'm getting rather angry!
Guys is legal to have sex at 16 in the UK! Christina is 16..! Yes she's young getting pregnant but that doesn't mean she won't be a good mum..I know a fair few girls who were pregnant at 16..& are great parents.
Yes her mum congratulated her on being pregnant but the way I wrote it has come out differently than what I hoped I guess! Her mum saying it is showing her support to her daughter..that she's there for her and that everything is going to be okay.
So many of you are saying what I wrote is unrealistic...and that your parents would kill you/kick you out/ raise the baby as theirs not yours/ make you get rid of it! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
Its not the 1950s no more..people have children at 16 & raise them just fine. What I've written is how I know my family would have reacted if I had gotten pregnant at 16. I would have gotten their love and support, not their disgust & judgement. I feel sorry for a lot of you of you honestly think this way!
