Elianna's POV
I wiped my eyes as I finally calmed down.
I stood up from the ground and walked to the door.
Should I even listen to him? Should I lock myself in the room because he killed my bodyguard.
I turned around and opened Luca's file.
He might have some kind of family who is grieving right now.
I opened the folder and saw an address for him.
I ran back into my room and called a taxi before getting ready.
I'm going there one way or another.
I put on all black before heading downstairs.
The guard stepped in front of the door. "I am sorry ma'am but you are not cleared to go outside."
"Yes I am. Enzo asked me to meet him."
"Without a bodyguard? Please return to your room."
I pointed at the taxi parked in front. Lucky for me, that person didn't have a big sign letting everyone know that they were a taxi.
"That's my new bodyguard."
He looked at the taxi driver.
"Really? Mr. Enzo did not inform us of a new bodyguard."
"Do you want me to call him to verify?" I bluffed. "He will be very angry because today is a very business day."
He immediately shook his head before stepping aside. "No ma'am. Go ahead."
"I'll keep this a secret between me and you," I told him.
He bowed. "Thank you, ma'am."
"Good," I said before proudly getting in the taxi.
I showed him the address and we made our way there.

I knocked on the door twice and there was still no answer.
I knocked just to make sure.
"Coming!" I heard a woman shout.
As I heard footsteps approaching the door, I could hear children crying.
The door opened and a woman holding two babies appeared.
My heart sank. They looked like they were twins.
"Can I help you?" She asked me.
"Did Luca live here?" I asked her.
She raised her eyebrow. "Um, yes. Who are you?"
I handed her the flowers which I bought on the way over here. "I'm so sorry."
She smelled one of the babies diapers and handed me the other one.
"Can you hold her for me? I need to change Lily. Close the door on your way in," she said as she walked in.
I awkwardly held the baby who was looking up at me with a smile.
I haven't held one of these since Haze.
"Um, sure why not?"
It's the least I could've done after Enzo killed Luca.
I walked in and closed the door as I put the flowers down.
"You can have a seat. Luca will be here soon. He didn't come home last night so he probably pulled a double shift."
I froze and almost dropped the baby.
She didn't know.
"Miss, who are you?" I asked as my heart started beating faster.
"Julia, Luca's girlfriend," she said before giggling. "Well, fiancé. I keep forgetting to use that."
I looked down to the baby in my hand. "And-and these are his?"
"That's what I would like to believe, yes," she laughed. "I have been faithful after all."
Tears gathered in my eyes and I forced myself not to cry.
Now that I look at the baby, it looks just like him.
My lips began to quiver and the first tear dropped out of my eye.
"Lady, why are you crying?" She asked as she walked over and hugged my back. "Don't tell me you and Luca were having a secret affair."
I quickly shook my head. "Not all at all. Luca was my- I mean we worked together."
I can't tell her like this.
"Worked? Did you quit?" She asked me. "I heard that Enzo man can be a real pain."
I nodded my head. "Yes, I quit. I just wanted to see him."
She rubbed my back and pulled me to the couch. "Don't cry. I guess you two were close but you don't need to cry. He will be home soon."
I shook my head.
"I'm so sorry. I thought I finally helped him," I cried. "We were going so good. I don't understand why he did it."
She rubbed my back again. "Look lady, I don't know what you're talking or crying about but you need to stop. It's scaring the babies."
I tried to calm myself down. "I'm sorry."
"Stop apologizing. If you want to help me, tell me about that woman Luca was guarding. Does he cheat with her?"
"What?" I asked. "Not at all!"
She relaxed. "Lu, is always talking about her."
"He talks!?" I shouted surprised.
She raised her eyebrow. "Yes, why wouldn't he?"
I shook my head.
"Anyways, I keep telling him to quit but he keeps refusing. He says the woman is nice but that job is dangerous. We're you there when he got shot protecting Enzo?"
I shook my head and she sighed.
"We have so much ahead of us and he risks it everyday. At least the pay is good."
The door bell rang.
She got up. "My house is on demand or something?"
She opened the door.
"Where is she?"
I froze when I heard Enzo's voice.
"She who? Who are you?" She asked.
He pushed past her and walked up to me.
I immediately stood up. "Enzo-"
"I thought I told you to stay in the bedroom?" He shouted at me and the baby started crying. "Who the hell's kid is that?"
"It's Luca's," I said and he closed his mouth.
"Enzo? As in Luca's boss Enzo?" Julia asked as she walked to us. "What are you doing here?"
"This is my wife you're harbouring in your house and I'll kill you if I find out she is hurt," he threatened.
"Enzo stop!" I shouted. "This is Luca's fiancé!"
She looked at me with a sad look. "You are her? He forgot to mentioned how pretty you are."
Enzo sighed. "Miss, have a seat."
She looked at him confused before she shook her head.
"No, no! Please tell me it's something else," she cried.
He handed her an envelope. "His funeral will be covered by me and you will be compensated."
She fell to the floor with the baby in her hand.
"No!" She cried aloud and I quickly went to help her with the other baby.
"Elianna, put those babies down," Enzo ordered to me.
"But Enzo-"
"Now!" He shouted at me before turning to her. "If you need anything else contact Sebastian."
He looked over his shoulder. "Don't piss me off any further, Elianna. Put them down and let's go."
I frowned as I handed the baby to her distorted self. "I'm so sorry."
She looked at me in the eye. "Get out!"
I frowned as I held in my tears.
I stood up and Enzo dragged me outside.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" He shouted at me.
"I-I wanted to help."
"Help?" He laughed. "You just made things worse! Why are you so obsessed with fixing everything?"
"Enzo, this isn't about me! It's about Luca!" I explained to him. "He had a wife and two babies. How could you just kill him like that? He took a bullet for you!"
He turned around and walked to the car.
"When we get home, you're going to be locked in the bedroom."
I scoffed. "Is this where we are again?"
"You leave me no choice," he said before getting in the car.
