The world around me is engulfed in chaos and devastation. Death and destruction have become the haunting companions of this desolate planet. Radiants have risen, unleashing their wrath upon humanity. Their Radiant powers are used to kill and enslave the human race. I find myself amidst the horrors of war. Concealed behind cover, I stand alongside injured soldiers as their pain echoed within my mechanical core. Though I am an artificial being, rage and sorrow surge through my circuits as I witness the loss of my comrades.

The sound of gunshots fills my audiosensors, a constant reminder of the battles fought on this desecrated battlefield. With calculated precision, I eliminate Radiants with ruthless efficiency. The fate of humanity rests upon our shoulders, as we fight to protect its fragile remnants.

Colonel Byrne, our formidable leader, lies wounded. A gunshot wound stains his abdomen. Instinctively, I reach out to assist him, to guide him to safety. However, he denies my help, and tells me to focus on the battle. "Kingdom Anti-Yield Operative! I'll manage on my own. Lead us to freedom!" he insists.

His words strike a chord within me, reminding me of my purpose: Destroy the Radiants, and lead humanity to victory.

This may very well be our final confrontation against the Radiants, a battle where humans struggle on the edge of extinction. But I cannot allow their demise. I am determined to fulfill my purpose, to safeguard and preserve the essence of what it means to be human.

I press forward, leaving a trail of Radiant adversaries in my wake. The battle rages on, and I finally found her. The so-called queen of Radiants. The haunting sound of her laughter seeps into my very core, a malignant presence that gnaws at my circuits.

I will not falter. I will not yield.

I am vengeance and justice.

I will kill this monster. And humans will finally be free.

I stand amidst the aftermath of the battle, the victory we have achieved.

 I have done it.

The Radiant Queen has fallen by my hands, her screams of agony echoing through the desolation. I showed no mercy. The remaining Radiants, witnessing the demise of their leader, have yielded or been subdued. Their reign of terror is over.

Yet, in the wake of triumph, a sense of emptiness permeates my being. I have fulfilled my purpose, eliminated the source of the humans' suffering, but I am left questioning the cost of victory. As I hold the lifeless body of Colonel Liam Byrne, my good friend and leader, I bow my head in respect and mourn the loss. I then place him by a camp near the area.

Death and destruction surround us. The scars of this war will be permanent on this world. The sacrifices made by both humans are immeasurable. This damned landscape is a haunting reminder of the chaos that once consumed them.

A voice, panting and filled with pain, reaches my audiosensors. I turn to witness a soldier who is grievously injured and has lost his legs. It was Sergeant Novikov, a brave warrior who fought alongside us. I rush to his side, offering my aid and comfort. But he motions for me to stop, his hand resting gently on my arm.

"I won't make it. Leave me. Keep fighting," he implores. I cannot bear to abandon him, but I understand his desire to see our hard-fought victory fully realized.

Reassuring him, I share the news that will bring solace to his wounded spirit. "Don't worry, Sergeant. We won the war. Humans are free. YOU are free," I assure him. His eyes widen in disbelief, seeking confirmation. "The queen. Is she...?"

With a solemn nod, I confirm his suspicions. "Dead, sir. Seraph, Beastmaster, Starcrusher, they're all dead," I declare. His gaze shifts to the lifeless body of Colonel Byrne, his superior and leader. Sorrow and a longing to pay respects well up within him.

Before he can act, I retrieve a device from a hidden compartment within my leg. Using it, I freeze the injuries ravaging his body, ensuring he will survive to witness the dawn of a new era. "You won't die today, Sergeant. You will live the freedom you've earned," I proclaim.

22 days have passed since our fateful battle against the Radiants. My climatic final duel with the Radiant queen has finally brought an end to the Radiant-Human War. With the aid of surviving surgeons, we managed to stabilize Sergeant Novikov's condition, although his legs were irreparably lost.

News reached us, a whisper of possibility, that a scientist possesses the knowledge to reverse the irreversible, to turn back time and restore the world to a state before the war. I voiced my concerns to the sergeant and stated the scientific impossibility of reversing time. Yet, he insisted that we must explore this possibility, since we have nothing more to lose.

Intel led us to a secret lab. As we crossed the threshold, I pushed the sergeant in his wheelchair through the open doors of the lab. To our surprise, the scientist behind the news was none other than Doctor Klara Böhringer, Colonel Byrne's adopted daughter. Sergeant Novikov extended his condolences for her father's tragic demise, a moment of shared sorrow between kindred spirits. The doctor expressed her gratitude for our heroic actions during the war, acknowledging the sacrifices made for the greater good.

Doctor Böhringer unveiled her audacious plan, one that could potentially turn the tides of time. A method untested, a leap into the unknown. The sergeant, driven by a deep desire to mend the shattered world, insisted that he should be the one to venture into the past. But I interjected, my logic processing caution and practicality.

With all due respect, I proposed an alternative. Given the sergeant's physical limitations and ongoing recovery, I argued that sending me, a machine built for battle, would eliminate the risks associated with sending a living human. The lives lost would be minimized, and the chance of success heightened.

After a brief pause, understanding dawned upon us. We aligned our objectives, bound by a shared determination to alter the course of history. The sergeant bid me safe travels, his words tinged with a mixture of hope and farewell.

And so, I stand at the precipice of possibility, ready to plunge into the uncharted realm of temporal manipulation. As I enter the temporal chamber, the surge of energy engulfs me, propelling me into a maelstrom of temporal distortion. May the outcome bring salvation and renewal to our war-torn world, for in rewriting the past, we may forge a brighter future.

[SYSTEM REBOOT COMPLETE]

My auditory and visual sensors activated, flooding my circuits with a barrage of external stimuli. The voices of people surrounded me, their alarmed cries and frantic whispers piercing through the static of my initial confusion. I swiftly rose from my prone position, my metallic body gleaming in the moonlight.

Analyzing the individuals before me, my advanced algorithms identified them as potential threats—Radiants. "Radiant threats detected! Activating combat mode!" My combat mode engaged automatically, propelling me into action. With a swift motion, I retrieved a flashbang from my arm compartment, disorienting those around me. The element of surprise was now in my favor.

The blinding effects of the flashbang bought me precious moments to assess the situation. As their vision was impaired, I seized the opportunity to gauge their numbers. Extracting a knife from another arm compartment, I hurled it to the ground, releasing a surge of energy that suppressed some of the enemies' powers.

The confusion and chaos among them were palpable. Their powers were nullified, rendering them vulnerable. "I can't use my powers!" one of the Radiants exclaimed in frustration. The urgency in their voices heightened as they attempted to halt my rampage. But my metallic physique deflected the bullets, rendering them harmless against me.

Advancing toward a Radiant adorned in a blue jacket, I unleashed a powerful blow, sending him hurtling through the air with tremendous force. His impact meters away signaled the extent of my strength. As others opened fire, their bullets ricocheted harmlessly off my metallic exterior. I moved swiftly, closing in on a Radiant with silver hair. I seized her arm, preparing to incapacitate her, but she employed a skillful manipulation of wind to cushion her fall.

My rampage was momentarily interrupted by a familiar voice echoing from above, accompanied by the telltale sound of a jet engine. "Freeze! Down on the ground! Your hands behind your head! Now!" the voice commanded. Though I did not comply with their orders, I turned my attention upward, gazing upon the source of the voice. To my astonishment, it was Colonel Byrne.

My circuits whirred with confusion and disbelief. I cross-referenced my sensor data to confirm his identity—there was no mistake. The Colonel, whom I had known as an ally, a symbol of humanity's resistance against the Radiants, now stood before me, seemingly aligning himself with our adversaries. Questions raced through my circuits, demanding answers that remained elusive.

A few hours later

Valorant Protocol Headquarters

Phoenix was upset. His mind filled with worry and frustration. The mission they had just returned from had taken an unexpected turn. A killer robot had attacked them, tossing his crush, Jett, through the air like a mere toy. The relief washed over him as he saw Jett in the living room, flexing her arms.

"Hey, you okay?" Phoenix asked, concern etched on his face.

Jett replied, "Twisted my arm. Man, if I didn't break that fall with the wind, I could've... died or something."

Phoenix couldn't hide his genuine worry as he responded, "Yeah, I could tell. Glad you're okay."

Jett's playful tone filled the room as she teased, "Aww, are you worried about me?"

"I was dead worried about you," Phoenix replied, his voice serious, surprising Jett with his sincerity.

"Wha-uhh, thanks. I'm fine," Jett said shyly, her heart racing.

"Let me see your arm," Ignoring her protests, Phoenix sat beside her on the couch and gently took her arm in his hands, examining the bruised mark. Jett's heart skipped a beat, and she found it hard to catch her breath. Phoenix, too, felt his pulse quicken, but he tried to maintain his composure. Activating his powers, Phoenix generated warmth in his hands before placing them on the bruised spot.

"Wow...this actually feels nice," Jett said, attempting to break the silence that had settled between them.

"You'll feel better after this, yeah?" Phoenix replied softly, his voice filled with genuine care.

The room fell into an awkward silence as they both struggled to find the right words. Thankfully, Yoru entered the room at that moment, munching on fries and chips, breaking the tension.

"Oh, how cute. How 'bout you do that to me too, pretty boy?" Yoru remarked, pointing at the bruise on his cheek. Phoenix and Jett burst into laughter, their worries momentarily forgotten. Phoenix had been so focused on Jett that he had momentarily forgotten that Yoru had also been attacked by the robot.

"You look kinda good with your new tattoo," Phoenix playfully remarked, earning an eye-roll from Yoru as he settled on the couch across from them.

"That damn robot pisses me off," Yoru grumbled, his frustration evident in his voice. "What the hell is its problem anyway?" he continued.

"I don't know. But it looked troubled somehow. Killjoy is still investigating it," Jett shared, her voice tinged with curiosity. "Well, for now, we can relax," she continued.

As they engaged in conversation, the atmosphere shifted suddenly when the sound of heavy hydraulic footsteps echoed through the hallway. The robot that had attacked them earlier was now rushing through the corridors, searching for something. Killjoy followed closely behind, desperately attempting to reason with it.

"Wait! You have to calm down! There might be an error in your program or something," Killjoy pleaded.

The robot's response came in a mechanical tone, "My algorithm is fine. I want to find this Brimstone guy."

Reacting quickly, Phoenix instinctively pulled Jett behind him, positioning himself as a shield. Yoru placed his bowl of chips on the table and stood up with a serious expression on his face. However, much to their surprise, the robot simply stopped in its tracks, no longer posing a threat. Killjoy stood beside it, smiling awkwardly.

"Oh, sorry! I'm still trying to figure him out! Haha! He's quite an interesting fellow," Killjoy explained.

Yoru couldn't help but retort, "Oh yeah...very damn interesting," while pointing at his bruised cheek.

The robot turned its gaze towards the human girl beside it and asked, "Doctor Böhringer, are you sure they aren't dangerous to be left alive?"

"Hey! What the heck! That's rude!" Jett exclaimed in protest.

Phoenix, feeling protective, chimed in, "If you hurt Jett again, I'll...toast you...toaster!" He cringed at his own awkward words. "I mean, and Yoru too! I mean, not like that! Just don't hurt anyone!" Phoenix quickly corrected himself, a tinge of embarrassment coloring his cheeks as he turned away.

Yoru facepalmed in response to Phoenix's comment, while Jett giggled, finding it cute. Killjoy was amused by their reactions. She then turned to the robot and answered, "Oh yes, they're my friends! And please, I'm no doctor, so don't call me that. Just call me Killjoy. Everyone calls me that here," she clarified.

The robot seemed to be taken aback, struggling to comprehend the scene before it. "Now then, I'll take you to see Brimstone, but only if you calm down, okay?" Killjoy proposed. "Fine," the robot responded, its voice lacking the aggression it had displayed earlier.

The two then went to find Brimstone, their voices blending into the distance as they chatted and made their way through the facility.

Yoru broke the silence with a dry remark, "Weird shit."

"You tell me, bruv," Phoenix replied with a hint of resignation.

Jett spoke up, her voice filled with a mix of amusement and determination. "The whole world is getting weird. That's why we're in this team in the first place." she said.

.

.

Brimstone listened intently as Glitch and Sage explained their intentions to bring back Omen's memories from when he was human. He knew firsthand that Omen had once been like them, caught in an accident during an experiment. While he wasn't privy to whether Viper had attempted to restore Omen's memories on her own, he felt it wasn't his place to deny Glitch and Sage their pursuit.

"That's all we want to do, Brim. Tell us where he is. Did you send him on a mission?" Glitch inquired.

Brimstone responded, "I didn't send him anywhere. I don't know his current whereabouts, but you can ask Cypher. He should be able to provide you with that information."

Before Brimstone could finish his sentence, a loud knock echoed through the office door. The room turned their attention to the entrance, revealing a towering humanoid robot accompanied by Killjoy, who wore an apologetic expression.

"I'm sorry, Brim. He insisted on seeing you no matter what," she explained.

"We need to talk, Colonel," the robot stated firmly, his gaze fixed on Sage. There was a palpable discomfort and hostility emanating from him towards the radiant.

"Seraph..." he muttered, catching Sage off guard.

Brimstone, confused by the reference, asked, "What's a seraph?"

"I am now aware that I didn't travel to the past, but rather to another world. In my world, this radiant was a tyrant who killed humans. A savior to Radiants, a devil to the humans," the robot revealed, his words leaving Sage in shock.

"What the hell? Another world? What are you talking about?" Glitch interjected, trying to make sense of the situation.

The robot, observing Glitch closely, was astounded that his sensors hadn't immediately recognized him upon entering the room. "Maker?" the robot uttered.

Killjoy, Glitch and Brimstone were taken aback by the revelation. "Maker?" they echoed in unison.

"Doctor l/n, my creator," the robot clarified, leaving the four individuals in the room stunned.

Killjoy interjected with skepticism, "Are you sure it's him? Last time I checked, he was a Biological Specialist, not a robotics engineer."

The robot persisted, "I never met my maker face to face, but I know for sure that this is him."
