"Lota I'm sorry now,are you still angry?" I pouted.
" Ada,I have forgotten about that already,I am just not in the mood to talk." he sighed.
"when have you ever not been in the mood to talk to me?" I teased.
" Lota,what exactly is your relationship with Ada" Ijeọma pokenosed.
But I actually wanted to hear what he would say.
"As you all know ,Ada is my annoying female bestfriend." he replied sardonically.
And my heart winched.

"Akuko, keep deceiving yourselves oo" Kanu jeered.
"i think it is true o,I saw him with one fine SS2 student during sports hour" Kola remarked.
"wait a second, have you all been spying on my personal life?" he boomed.
"which kind yeye spying,you guys were talking and laughing even when Ada was there,we all know she can't stand the sight of you talking with another girl." Cynthia added to spite me.
My eyes widened in anger.
"Cynthia,you are very stupid for saying that,what are you trying to insinuate?"
"why are you even getting worked up?

"Cynthia,you are getting too troublesome for your own good,just drop this topic,
we have an exam to prepare for.
Read your books instead.." Amina said irritated by her looming need for trouble.

Amina may be soft spoken.
But you wouldn't want to get on her bad side.
She's extremely harsh when the need be.
Where as I'm a contrast
I threaten hail and brimstone but I'm compassionate in actions.
"This SS1 students are making so much noise" Amina complained.
"As in ehn,let me go and meet them." I offered.
"No Ada,let me go and punish them,you are handling those lads with kid gloves." she beamed at me.
Ifeoma
"Ify,how are you doing?"
My heart skipped seeing him stop in front me.
I ignored him..
" Are we now enemies?"he continued.
" A friend to Kachi is my enemy"
" that's not a nice thing to say,you are getting too extreme,Kachi is not that bad." he defended.
"why are you suddenly talking to me Dozie?"
"I just couldn't get the chance to talk to you.
You are always with Elo.
His temper is outrageous " he bawled.
The last part made me chuckle.
"let me walk you to the hostel, Let's catch up."
"This nothing to catch up on,we are not friends."
"Is that what you think?" he asked looking crushed.
I just kept quiet,I was enjoying his company.
I wouldn't want him to get upset.
" I got you!!, you look like Mr Ibe right now " I teased.
"what??, you shouldn't compare me with that ugly looking man " he cried as I laughed harder.
" who even told you that you are fine,you look like a frog."
"really??,would you kiss me so I could turn to a handsome prince" he smirked.
I blushed.
There was a calm silence as we walked closer to my hostel.
"Dozie, what business does Kachi have with my friend,Judith?,he has been pestering her."
" I think he likes her." he replied.
"huh?, Kachi can't genuinely like a girl,he is a Playboy,I wonder how you became friends with him anyways."
"Let's not talk about Kachi and Judith.
Let's talk about something else"
" Soo,what should we talk about?"
" let's talk about us Ify,can we just go back to the way we were, before that incident?" he begged.
Just then we got to the front of my hostel.
" let's not talk about this ,we will see later" I replied skipping through the stairs.

" Damn" I muttered looking around.
Just when I thought we were getting some where. She snapped out of it.
I shouldn't have brought that up.
I groaned walking towards my hostel.
Ifeoma and I have been since our pre-teen.
My feelings blossomed since we became teenagers.
That incident caused a smear in our relationship.
But I can't control my feelings anymore.
I don't care about what Elo or anybody will do or think,I will make sure I and Ify bond again even more than before.
Judith
It was a Thursday evening .
I was walking through a lonely short cut leading to the my hostel.
I ran walked when I heard a male voice calling pretending not to have heard.
But unfortunately, the owner of the voice met up with me.
"Hey, haven't you been hearing me calling?" he hollered.
I think he is an SS3 student,
I have seen him once or twice in Snr Lotanna class whenever I go to chat with him.
His towering height scared me.
He had this scary look that made all my boldness melt away..
I should have gone back to the hostel with Ifeoma,but I was trying to cover up with my biology notes.
The fact that he is here with his three rough looking friends made my heart tremble.
I swallowed.
" I'm sorry,I taught you were referring to another person." I stuttered.
" what nonsense!,you are the only walking by,so you can't think such when you are not dumb." he fumed.
" I'm sorry senior " I apologized half heartedly while one of his friends whispered something to him.
He smiled checking me out.
I became a quivering mess.
" This would be a good way to deal with that bastard Lota and still getting paid."
My knees felt like rubber as his two other friends smiled smugly.
" You would follow me quietly to that building,if you scream or try to run off,I would make sure I fuck you up." he gruffed.
" please just let me pass,I won't walk through this path again,I promise no one will hear about this " I cried feeling helpless.
" just calm down babe,I won't hurt you if you comply,I like you already, So just move with us quietly so we can get this over with."
"No,no " I screamed trying to run off .
But he took my feet off the ground and threw me in his shoulders.
"Amobi!!"

Always getting into trouble.
