Malaysia and Indonesia walked the halls leisurely, with Malaysia's hands resting on the back of his head while Indonesia is taking a sip from his apple juice. "I heard there's a batch of new transfer students coming this semester." Malaysia stated with little interest, "Mmh." Indonesia responded with just as much enthusiasm as his friend.

Indonesia, who was just biting the straw of the empty carton to not have to hold it, finally threw it in the trash bin as they passed by it. "I already saw a few of them pass by, and others I saw already settling into the dormitories. One of my new dorm mates is a transfer student as well." He said with such indifference.

Malaysia nodded, "Our dorm's full but the one next to ours is having two new transferees. One of them had so many boxes that the moving crew had a hard time moving them in. I almost felt bad." Indonesia snickered half-heartedly. "Are they planning on living in the dorms forever?" Malaysia shrugged, "Dunno. They better not be noisy though. Or else I'm filing complaints."

Indonesia couldn't help but let out a half-hearted laugh, "Said the person whose voice could wake up an entire neighbourhood?" Malaysia rolled his eyes, "Shut up." Indonesia gave his friend a lopsided grin, further teasing his friend who could only scoff at him.

Malaysia and Indonesia were the best of friends since their elementary days, and they hadn't been separated since. This is their final year in high school and in just a few months, they'll be going to college. Indonesia wants to study IT Engineering, while Malaysia plans on studying Marine Biology. They live in separate dorms on different floors, but that hasn't stopped them from meeting every day without fail. They even plan on going to college abroad where they could be on the same campus.

Of course, both Indonesia and Malaysia have their own group of friends aside from each other, but they spend most of their time together that they could almost pass as siblings.

When the bell rang, Indonesia and Malaysia went to their separate classrooms. Malaysia felt bored out of his mind since he wasn't close with anyone in his class. His classroom was on the west wing, while Indonesia's was on the east wing of the school. His other friends were either in the classroom next to his, or across. And he doesn't really want to leave the classroom either since the teacher might catch and scold him.

So all he could do for the duration of his classes is sit, listen, and occasionally doodle on his notebook that he bought specifically for doodling or just randomly writing down his thoughts.

Malaysia flinched when he felt someone tap his shoulders, he looked up to his right and saw a guy around his age donning a warm and friendly smile. "Hi, may I sit here?" He asked, almost coyly as he gestures to the vacant seat next to Malaysia. Malaysia squinted his eyes, 'This must be one of the new transferees' Malaysia thought and mindlessly nodded. The guy smiled and gently pulled out the chair and sat next to him, placing his bag down on the floor before holding out his hand, "Hi, my name's Philippines, but you can call me Philipp. May I have the pleasure of meeting your acquaintance?" He smiled again. Malaysia took his hand and shook it firmly, "My name's Malaysia, call me whatever you want, nice to meet you."

Philip was surprised by Malaysia's firm grip and rough hands, but he smiled nonetheless. "Pleasure of meeting you too!"

[Malaysia]

The teachers don't really do introductions, so I was caught off guard when this dude suddenly approached me. The way he speaks is so formal, kind of reminds me of Indonesia at times.

As the teacher's voice faded into the background, I found myself glancing at the guy next to me, Philipp. I've seen other Countryhumans with wings, but none of them were as big as his. It reminded me of eagles but his were much more colourful. Its base colour was red with blue gradients halfway and white and yellow tips. He could probably fly with these.

I met a Countryhuman with wings once, he was a former classmate, but his wings weren't big enough to carry him so he couldn't fly. I always found them interesting, wondering what kind of genetic mutation they or their families had just for them to have such interesting features.

I found myself absentmindedly touching his wing, its feathers were soft to the touch. But I snapped back to reality when Philipp noticeably jolted at my touch.

Philip, "A-ah... Please don't... They're sensitive..." I nodded, "Sorry." He nods back sheepishly and went back to taking notes.

"Hey, do you wanna have lunch with me and my friend?" I impulsively blurted out. He looked at me and was taken aback by my offer, but I still waited for a reply, "Uhm... Sure, I'd like that." I pursed my lips and nodded and began taking notes as well.

. . .

The bell rang and I stood up from my seat. Philipp followed suit and took his bag with him. "Did you bring your own lunch or should we go to the cafeteria?" I asked. "Oh! Uhm, I'll just grab something from the vending machine outside." I nodded as we left the classroom. "Indonesia and I don't eat in the cafeteria since it gets too crowded so we always bring our own lunches to eat in the south garden," I explained.

"Have you found your locker yet?" I asked, and Philipp perked up, "Oh! No, I haven't. But the key that was given to me says that it's number 1334?" I looked at the number on my locker, 1332. "Ah, what a coincidence. It's just a locker away from mine."

Philipp looked at the lockers and gasped softly. "Oh yeah..." He mumbled and grabbed the key from his pocket and opened it. He took out the contents from his bag and placed it neatly on the shelves of the locker before hanging his bag inside. "We're allowed to customize our lockers, right?" He asked, and I nodded. "Yep." Philipp nodded with a small smile on his face. He sure likes to smile.

We stopped by a vending machine, and while Philipp was picking out what he wants to get, I grabbed my phone and chatted with Indonesia.

I looked up from my phone and saw Philipp carrying a can of tomato juice and an energy bar. "That's all you're having?" I asked, it's pitiable if you compare his lunch to mine and Indonesia's. We always go all out with our meals. "Yes, I had a heavy breakfast earlier so this is all I'm having for lunch." He smiled. I nodded, not everyone has a large stomach I guess.

I took Philipp to the garden, and not far into the garden, I saw Indonesia already sitting at our usual spot, scrolling through his phone with his food already laid out. It looked like a full-course meal. Indonesia, who must've sensed our presence, turned off his phone and shoved it back into his pocket. He smiled and waved us over, I told Philipp that that was my friend and he nodded.

"Hello, you must be one of the transfer students, my name's Indonesia, it's a pleasure to meet you." He greeted Philipp and offered his hand out to him just before Philip could sit down. Philipp perked up and eagerly shook Indonesia's hand and I saw Indonesia subtly squeeze his hand. "My name's Philipp, a pleasure to meet your acquaintance!" He nodded and offered Philipp the vacant seat between us.

The garden had various stone tables and chairs, ours looked like a tree log while the chairs looked like mushrooms with a flat surface, there had always been three stone chairs at our table and throughout all of our years in this high school, we never really took the initiative to occupy the seat between us.

"My, as if it was faith to have you sit on that mushroom! Malaysia and I never really sat on it and it had always been vacant throughout our years of studying here." He said as if reading my mind. Philipp chuckled at Indonesia's words, he has always had a way with his words. But for some reason, he can't be bothered to give me proper replies through text and chat.

I rolled my eyes at their flowery language and opened my lunch box. "Trade with me." Indonesia suddenly said he must've smelled my lunch. It's dried fish and I have spicy vinegar to dip it in.

As we were eating, Indonesia turned to Philipp again to resume their conversation. "You know, my friend here has always been interested in Countryhumans like you. He always found your kind interesting and had always wanted to learn more about them." I flinched at Indonesia suddenly calling me out like that and choked on my food. I grabbed my tumbler and took a long sip from it before turning to Philipp to see his reaction.

"Ah... Well..." Philipp looked away shyly as he rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "I'm not really sure if I could be of any help..." I mentally sighed in relief as Philipp didn't seem to mind. "Well," I cleared my throat. "First, I'd like to know how you grew wings. Did one of your parents have one?" He shook his head, "No, but I believe that my father is a carrier of the genetic mutation." I nodded, "Are you able to fly with your wings?" I asked, and Philipp nodded, "Yes, but I'm still quite clumsy and not as good yet, however, I am good at crashing into trees." His laugh was as soft as his voice, I couldn't help but chuckle as well while Indonesia grinned in amusement.

"Do you think that apart from your wings, there are internal factors that make you different from the rest?" I asked, and Philipp seemed to have been stuck on that question. "Uhm... I, I'm not sure... How would I know?" He asked, I was about to speak before Indonesia intervened. "Let's move on before you give him an identity crisis, Mal." I nodded, perhaps that'd be for the best. "Alright."

Indonesia had just finished his meal and was already packing up. "Well then, why don't you tell us more about yourself?" He asked, placing his chin on his palm as he looks at Philipp who had just finished his tomato juice. "Oh, what would you like to know?"

Indonesia hummed, "Have you moved into your dorm yet?" Philipp nodded, "Yes, it's on the 3rd floor, room 63. Feel free to visit me if you'd like." He chuckled, but Indonesia and I simply glanced at each other. "I don't need to visit you now that I know you're my new dorm mate. Looks like Mal will just have to miss out on all the fun we'll be having." He chuckled. I furrowed my brow and threw a crumpled piece of tissue at Indonesia who snickered.

"What course will you be taking in college?" I asked, and Philipp perked up, "Oh! I'll be taking nursing." He grinned cheerfully as he picks up the crumpled piece of tissue that I just threw at Indonesia and shoved it in his pocket. "Nursing, huh? Why do you want to be a nurse?" I asked. Philipp looked down and had this gentle smile on his face, "I just... Really like taking care of the people around me." He said, his cheeks flushed red.

"Well, that's good. We need a lot more people like that in the world." Indonesia grinned, his eyes solely focused on Philipp. Huh, weird. I took out my phone and started chatting.

Indonesia put his phone down and looks back at Philip, "Sorry for that, Mal here just asked me a stupid question and was too embarrassed to say it out loud." He grinned. I looked at him, offended while Indonesia immaturely stuck out his tongue at me to which I rolled my eyes.

Philip giggled and nodded, "Well, uh, apart from your names and the fact that you guys are friends, I don't really know much about either of you..." Indonesia perked up, "Oh! Well, Malaysia and I have been friends for a very long time! I like to skate, read, cook, and also I plan to take IT Engineering in college." Philipp gasped in awe and turned to me with curious eyes. His eyes are so expressive, it's as if you could easily know what he's thinking just by looking through them.

"Actually, Indonesia and I are planning to study abroad. I like to play more intense sports and I've always wanted to study Marine Biology." Philip let out an 'oooh' and gave a small, quiet clap for us. "Wow, such high ambitions! I feel so ashamed of mine now" he chuckled. Both Indonesia and I perked up and were about to tell him that that was not true, but he continued to speak. "I actually just wanted to be a writer, but my family said that I needed to be practical, so I just stuck with nursing instead, hehe."

"Oh, well, couldn't you do both?" I asked, and Philipp shook his head, "Nursing takes a lot of time, dedication, and concentration. So even if I wanted to, I doubt that I'll be able to find time for it." He sighed before perking up. "Oh well. That's the way the cookie crumbles I guess." He chuckled.

[Indonesia]

The way Philipp smiles, giggles, and chuckles is hella cute. 'Shit, am I starting to have a crush on this guy?'

'Well, that should make things more interesting, right?' Apart from having Mal and my friends beside me, school has been pretty much boring. I've been looking for some sort of thrill to keep me on my toes, and they say that a crush could do that to you.

I don't really have much interest or knowledge in these types of things, but I know that Malaysia does. He's had a lot of crushes and I've seen him get so infatuated with them and I got to bear the dreadful load of listening to him vent about how cute/gorgeous/pretty/smart/kind/generous his past crushes are. It's like every year he has a new crush, but it changed once we got to our senior year. He said that he hasn't found anyone interesting to have a crush on, so he's been pretty quiet now, sometimes.

I look at my watch and saw that it was almost time for class. "Ah, we better go," I said as I started packing my things. "It's 12:40, classes start at 1:30 so we better start walking," I said as I placed my lunch bag on my shoulder and carried my giant tumbler with me before holding out my hand to Philip who turned to me and smiled as he shook it. I gave it another gentle squeeze as I returned his smile. "It was a pleasure to meet you, Philipp. If you need any help with unpacking, just knock on my door. It's the one with the curtain outside." Philipp chuckled and nodded, "I'll keep that in mind. I'll see you later at the dorms, Indonesia." I nodded and we parted as he went back with Malaysia to their classroom while I went in the opposite direction to the east side.

This should be fun. I've never had a crush on a guy before. I wonder if he's gay? Hmm, I have yet to find out, I suppose. There's not a lot of time left, but I hope there could be some kind of development. Oh, wait, we still have summer which is 2 months and a half.

I went to my locker and noticed the guy beside me, he also has wings, but they were considerably small. After I placed my bag and tumbler inside my locker and locked it, I turned to the guy, "Hey, you're Mexico, right?" I asked. He seemed to have been caught off guard and turned to me. He's the guy from across the hall.

"A-ah, yes, I am..." I saw him enter the school with Philipp and even talk to him comfortably. But I know that he isn't a transfer student as our classes used to merge when we have similar subjects. "Do you know of a guy named Philipp?" I asked, and he perked up, "Ah, yes! He's our adopted brother, why do you ask?"

Adopted, huh?

I shook my head, "My friend and I wanted to befriend him and we had lunch together. I'll also be his new dorm mate, so I thought I should learn more about him." I explained. Mexico's eyes narrowed a bit but nodded. "He's the shy type, and, don't worry. He's a very clean and well-organized person. He also keeps a strict diet, but he knows how to cook his own meals so feeding him won't be much trouble." I nodded, "Alright, thank you. I better leave now, classes are about to start." I chuckled and waved the guy goodbye before going to my classroom, walking a bit faster so I don't get caught by our teacher and have him think that I was just loitering around the hallway.

When I got in my seat, I took out my notebook and pen and sat still until our teacher came. While waiting, my mind wandered back to Philipp and what his brother said. 'A strict diet? Why diet at all if you're already so thin?'

I suddenly remembered Philipp's physique, 'he's not technically malnourished, but he is quite skinny, or is it just me?'

"Alright! Open your notebooks and start taking notes!" Said our teacher who had just entered the classroom. I heaved a deep sigh and opened my notebook, turning it to a new page before I grabbed my pen and started taking notes.

Honestly, my notes are so messy because we just write whatever the teacher says. Luckily, this is my draft notebook. I usually rewrite my notes in a separate notebook while I just take down certain keywords and do basic research on them later. This method of taking notes and studying is effective for me, meanwhile Malaysia, he takes note of everything. He even admitted that he voice records his teachers so he could listen to the lecture while also taking down notes in his room. I don't really need to do that though since I already have an impeccable memory and very sharp observation skills.

Malaysia is pretty good at observing, too. This is probably why my subtle actions earlier didn't escape him and he came up with a conclusion that I couldn't quite resist.

I wonder what type of studying method Philipp uses. Ah, maybe I could ask him if he wants to have a study session with me when the next quarterly exams roll in. 'Mmh, a study date at the library. Sounds cliché, but I can't help but feel giddy.'

'Ahh, I just met this guy and I'm already planning dates.' Is this what it feels like? It's kind of nice. It's like I finally have something to look forward to every time I go back to the dorms.

But, I don't even know if he's interested in the same gender. 'Should I ask? How would that conversation go?'

I suddenly started to feel nervous.

. . .

It felt like days had passed when the bell finally rang. I've never felt so relieved and happy to finally get out of class.

When I got out of class, I saw Malaysia and Philipp waiting for me outside. "Oh?" I raised a brow at Malaysia who had this nonchalant look on him. "Philipp asked me to tour him around school since our last two teachers didn't show up, again, we had two and a half hours of free time. And then I decided that we should just wait for you since we're all going back to the dorms and you and Philipp share the same dorms." He explained.

'Must be nice being classmates...'

I couldn't help but smile and tease Malaysia with a look who rolled his eyes and weakly punched me on the shoulder. I laughed half-heartedly before going over to my locker to take out my lunch bag and tumbler. Malaysia once forgot his lunch bag in his locker and the next day when we came to get it, it was filled with maggots. It was disgusting. So I'm never going to make that same mistake.

The three of us went back to the dormitories, which is a separate building from the school. I found our formation kind of cool with Philipp in the middle. He was a head shorter than Malaysia while I was slightly taller than him (( Malaysia ))

'Could this be the birth of a new trio? I hope so. Especially if Malaysia was our faithful third wheel, heh.'

When we got to the dorms, Malaysia went his separate way as he was on the first floor of the dormitories while Philipp and I are on the third. We got into an elevator and pressed the '2' button and stood side by side in silence as the doors to the elevators closed. "Uhm... I heard that we have two other dorm mates" Philipp started, the silence must've been awkward for him and he was trying to start up a conversation. 'How cute.'

"Oh, yes. Our dorm mates are Australia and New Zealand." I said, and I saw Philipp noticeably flinch. I looked at him and his eyes were downcast, worried. Wow, I've always heard people saying that the eyes are the windows to the soul, but I've never seen one as clear as Philipp's. 'It's as if you could find out what he's thinking just by looking into his eyes.'

"Is something the matter? Do you know them?" I asked, and Philipp nodded, "...yes, they're acquaintances of mine." I nodded, "I see. Well, it's good that you know a lot of people." I said, and he simply just nodded. The elevator chimed and the doors opened, we head into our dorm. I allowed Philipp to come in first before I followed behind him and I saw that the twins were already there, playing video games.

Philipp walked fast as if trying to avoid the twins and I heard his door close gently. I took off my shoes and wore my indoor slippers as I walked past the twins at a casual pace. "Was that Philipp?" I turned around to see their game paused and their heads turned to me. "...yes, I was told that you guys knew each other." The twins looked at each other and chuckled before going back to their game. "Yeah, "knew"." New Zealand snickered while Australia kept a grin as the two played.

I found this odd but decided to turn back and head to the kitchen first to wash my lunchbox and tumbler before going to my room to change.

After I changed, I decided to complete my notes first before grabbing my phone to chat Malaysia.

I turned off my phone and charged it before leaving my room and going to Philipp's room. I knocked on the door, and there were no answers. I knocked again, "Philipp?" I called. I heard shuffling noises inside before the door cracked open. He looked around before shyly opening the door wider and letting me in. I went inside his room and Mexico was right, everything is neat and tidy, and his things are well-organized. I feel ashamed of my room now, but it's not as bad as Malaysia's. His room looked like a tornado passed through it.

I went inside and noticed that Philipp's wings were sprawled out when earlier it was folded. I couldn't help but stare in awe at his wings. They were so beautiful and bright. "So, uhm... What brings you here..?" Philipp asked, I flinched and brought myself back to reality. "Ah, Malaysia's bringing me some food. Would you like some?"

Philipp thought about it before looking at the door. "Is Australia and New Zealand still outside?" He asked, I nodded. "Yeah, they usually sleep at around 10 PM." Philipp nodded, almost as if he was disappointed.

I assume that he doesn't have a good relationship with them? 'I wonder why.'

[Philipp]

I sighed, "I'll eat later then" I smiled at Indonesia who seemed to have been deep in thought. 'Is he starting to notice that I'm uncomfortable with the two?'

"Oh, what's this?" He asked as he picks up the book that I was reading on my bed as if to change the topic. "Ah, that's my review guide. I'm taking the nursing entrance exam in a few weeks. I've already had that book memorized, I'm just reading it because I got nothing to do." I smiled awkwardly as I sat on my bed.

Ah, right, I need to wear my pyjamas. I can't believe I just comfortably stood around in my boxers. 'Well, it's not like he could see anything sticking out.'

I walked over to my closet and grabbed a pair of pyjamas and wore it. I don't usually wear them when I'm alone, but since Indonesia's here, 'I better be on my best behaviour.'

"Don't you have a phone you could play around with?" He asked. I could hear flipping pages from behind as I wear my pyjamas, he must be flipping through the pages of the book. "No, my old phone broke and my father hasn't bought me a new one. But I do have a laptop." I said, and Indonesia nodded. "Do you have any social media accounts?" I looked at Indonesia and shook my head, he looked at me with shock.

"Really?" He asked, and I nodded again, "Huh, I never knew such a person still exists. I saw a toddler making TikToks at the mall once." He stated which made me giggle. "Would you like to have one?" He asked, and I shook my head, "No, it's okay. I'm actually on a break from social media. I deactivated all my accounts so I could focus on studying." I smiled and he nodded. "Well... Alright, if you say so... Are you sure you don't want to have dinner with us?"

I chuckled, "Thank you for your generosity, Indonesia. But I'll eat later instead. I have a planned diet I need to follow." I smiled. Indonesia didn't seem to look pleased with my answer, but he nodded nonetheless and gave me back my book. "Alright, but if you change your mind, just go to the dining area and you'll find us there eating." I nodded, "Yes, thank you, Indonesia." He waved me goodbye and left my room, closing the door behind him.

I heaved a huge sigh of relief and took off my pyjamas, neatly folding them and placing them beside my pillow before grabbing my book and reading where I left off.

I perked my head up when I heard a soft buzz coming from my drawer. I gently put down my book and got off my bed before walking over to my drawer and opening it. It showed text messages and I read them as a new message continues to pop up every minute. I sigh and closed the drawer again before grabbing my headphones and my laptop, opening it to connect it to the headphones so I could watch a video I had saved. It was all about medical stuff. I really want to ace this entrance exam so I could leave immediately.

. . .

I peeked my head out of my door and saw that the lights were off and couldn't hear anyone in the living room either. After wearing my pyjamas, I tiptoed to the kitchen and looked inside the fridge. 'Looks like I food that I kept inside hasn't been touched.'

'Well, it's not like they'd like the food that I eat, anyway.'

I turned on the lights in the kitchen and began working on my dinner as well as meal prep for tomorrow's breakfast.

. . .

I looked up at the wall clock and saw that it was already around midnight, I sighed as I placed the final plate in the rack to dry. I had just finished eating and washing the plates, so after cleaning up the kitchen, I went to my room and took a half bath in the shower. I was surprised by how big our dorm is, but then again it made sense since the doors for every dorm were far apart. 'Honestly, I expected our rooms to be small and tight, but I'm thankful that it isn't and I could easily spread my wings inside.'

'And! We have our separate bathrooms! So, no need to wait in long lines like in my old school.' And then I'd get blamed whenever there's a clog in the drains because my feathers kept getting stuck down there.

Once I got out of the bathroom all clean and dry, I sat on my bed, grabbed a bottle of melatonin gummies, took one and ate it. It didn't take long for me to get knocked out and I slept peacefully through the night...

...I shot awake in a cold sweat from an awful dream. I groaned and looked at my alarm clock, it hasn't even ringed yet. I yawned, 4 AM is too early, especially considering that our classes start at 8. 'Oh well, at least I have time to review my notes for today's lessons.'

I got up, washed my face, wore my pyjamas and then left the room. I yawned once more and stretched my arms and wings as I was walking in the hallway before arriving in the kitchen. I opened the fridge and grabbed the meal prep that I made last night and started cooking it.

These past few weeks, I've been eating fish and nuts, foods that could boost my brain to really prepare me for the exams. Father also bought me dark chocolates because he was impressed by how seriously I'm taking this entrance exam. I placed them in an airtight container and wrote "DO NOT TOUCH" all over it. I would cry if anyone ever ate them. I take two bits per chocolate and nibble on them throughout the day. Dark chocolate, although bitter and unpleasant to the taste ((at least for me)), is said to be good for enhancing focus.

I finished eating and cleaning at around 5:30 AM and noticed that there was still time before school started. But I know that I take too long in the shower, so I decided to do that first. Plus, it takes far too long for my wings to dry, and it's quite annoying.

I remember how it all happened when I first started growing wings. I was around 3 when I ran up to my biological father, crying at how my back hurt. He lifted my shirt and took a look, and the look in his eyes and the smile on his lips made me cry less. He laughed and lifted me in the air, I guess he knew that I would soon grow wings, but I guess neither of us knew how big it would get.

I never met my mother and my father refused to talk about her so I didn't bother to ask anymore. When I was around 13, my wings were big enough to carry me, and my father said he was going to teach me how to fly, but soon became ill and never recovered and now I'm 16, being taken care of by my father's old friend. He had lots of kids, but most of them were adopted like me. Mexico was the second Countryhuman that I met who has wings, but they weren't big enough to carry him. He was determined to help me learn how to fly, so every weekend in the summer we would go to the fields and I'd fly. At first, it was terrifying, I was afraid of heights, but soon it was fun.

Well, it was fun until I'd crash into a tree or two. 'It's still hard to control them once I'm in the air, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I think.'

I got out of the shower and dried my body and hair, now all that's left to do is dry my wings. I took my blow-dryer and put it on '1' which is the gentlest setting. I had also turned on my electric fan and turned it on to '2'.

I sighed and just stood around drying myself for what felt like hours before my wings finally stopped dripping with water. It became fluffier and I would always have to pat it down, but that came with its own issues-like its sensitivity. I get this weird, tingly feeling every time I, or someone, touches it. And the feeling varies by how much or how hard they press/touch it. It's not painful, it's just weird and uncomfortable? I can't exactly explain it. It sends shivers down my spine every time it gets touched.

I sigh and finally wore my school uniform. I turned on the lights and began reviewing. I set an alarm on my clock for 7:30 as I begin to review.

"Philipp?"

I flinched and looked at the door, It's Indonesia. I looked at the clock and it was 7:20 something, my alarm hasn't ring yet. I walked over to the door and opened it, "Yes?"

"Malaysia's outside waiting, would you like to walk to school with us?" He asked. I look back inside my room and sighed, "Of course. Let me just grab my things." I smiled and closed the door gently before turning off my alarm clock and grabbing my reviewer and notes before opening the door, locking it before closing the door behind me. "Shall we?" Indonesia smiled and nodded.

We left the dorm, and sure enough, Malaysia was waiting for us with a tired look on his face. I chuckled, 'he must not be a morning person.' "Good morning, Malaysia." I greeted him, and he yawned and nodded. I felt Indonesia tap my shoulder, so I looked behind me, but immediately looked away. 'Our faces were so close to each other!'

"I'm your dorm mate and you didn't even greet me?" Indonesia said, now I feel bad. But I look at Malaysia and I saw him snickering. "Sorry. Good morning to you too, Indonesia. Did you sleep well?" I asked, he smiled and nodded. "I slept very well, thank you for asking." I giggle as we walked to the school.

[Narrator]

The new trio walked side by side on their way to school, with Malaysia's hands resting on the back of his head, Indonesia taking a sip of his tomato juice without holding it and instead just biting the straw to keep it from falling while his hands were stuffed in his pocket, and Philipp, who's in the middle of the two, humming a sweet melody as he holds onto his notes with a soft smile on his face.

Indonesia would sneak glances at Philipp here and there, and even tried picking up the melody that he was humming, while Malaysia was occasionally sneaking glances at his dear old friend, it felt weird to see Indonesia be so interested in someone he had just met.

He would also look at Philipp from time to time, but mostly just to stare at his gorgeous wings. He wants to touch it again. And today, they looked extra fluffy.

Their day went on as normal, with the exception of a new person joining their duo and now they're a trio. He smiled a lot, but they didn't look forced, he carried a light, and warm aura that could make people easily warm up to him. Philipp was a naturally charming and charismatic person, even if he himself didn't know it. He was shy and coy, yet he smiled at every stranger that passed by, giving them silent greetings as he passed by them. His eyes were warm, bright, and expressive. They were an open window to his soul, and yet, he still somehow manages to keep ambiguous secrets behind them.

"Ah! Fuck! It's hot outside!" Malaysia cursed as he was sitting directly underneath the sun while Indonesia and Philipp were shaded by the tree. Philipp pouted and felt bad for his new friend, so he raised his wing and sheltered Malaysia underneath it. "Is that better?" He asked.

Malaysia looked at him surprised. He looked into Philipp's eyes and he could tell that he was concerned for him. "We could switch seats if you'd like." Malaysia looks at Indonesia who had his lips pursed, so Malaysia shook his head. "Nah, it's fine. Thanks though, but you don't really have to shield me." Malaysia shrugged and continued eating.

Philipp shook his head, "The sun has UV rays and it's especially strong at noon and could potentially cause cancer. This is why dermatologists recommend using sunscreen." Philipp stated, and the two looked at him, clueless. Philipp felt his cheeks flush, he must've rambled too much. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ramble." He looks down at his lap, embarrassed.

"Huh, I thought sunscreen was just a scam," Indonesia said, he found it adorable when Philipp started rambling. Malaysia nodded, "Yeah, with how expensive they are and whatnot. I guess I better start buying some." Indonesia nodded in agreement. Philipp smiled sheepishly, "Y-you should ask a dermatologist for recommendations first... You can't just buy random sunscreen without knowing which SPF level is compatible with your skin... But- I could ask my godfather instead so you guys don't have to spend money for a check-up..." He rubbed his nape awkwardly.

"Thanks, that'd be really appreciated." Indonesia smiled, and Malaysia nodded.

Two weeks passed, and the trio's bond grew stronger-well it's not like Indonesia and Malaysia's bond was weak, it was already strong, but their bond with Philipp had gotten stronger as they began to learn more about him.

They learned that Philip skipped a grade when he was in elementary, which explains why he was the youngest in their batch, they learned that he liked to hum and sing when he's doing something ((i.e buying food, walking, taking notes, doing chores)), and they also learned that he was quite passionate about plants and herbalism.

Malaysia groaned as he finished his meal. He looked at his two friends who all had light meals. Since Indonesia was interested in Philipp, he thought that he would be pushed to the side and treated as a third wheel, but that wasn't really the case. He thought that Philipp would cause a rift in their friendship, but he was glad that Philipp always found a way to include him in the topic even if the subject didn't really apply to him, nor could he relate to it. It felt nice that he was still being seen and noticed even if it was just him and Indonesia that were talking. Philipp always found a way to let him into their flow.

"How did you do in that short test?" Philipp asked as he looks at Malaysia who looked stressed as hell. Today's Friday, which means there were a shit ton of short tests and assignments that were being given to them. "I did... Okay. You?" Philipp shrugged as he held onto his notebooks. "I did okay too. How much did you score?"

Malaysia groaned. "35," He said, disappointed in himself for not scoring as high as he expected himself to. "You?" Philipp hummed, "40" Malaysia stopped walking and looked at Philipp. Philipp and Indonesia stopped too. Malaysia suddenly got on one knee as he holds Philipp's hand while he stared down onto the floor. "Teach me your ways."

Indonesia and Philipp were off guard, especially Philipp whose cheeks burned red and he immediately pulled his hand away from Malaysia and Malaysia got up. He looked at Indonesia who, surprisingly didn't seem all that upset. "W-w-what do you mean????" Philipp started to stutter, and Malaysia found this adorable.

Wait, what?

"I mean! Teach me! Study with me! I did so bad on that test!" Philipp was surprised by how Malaysia was acting. '35/40 was bad for him? They had classmates who only scored 25 and below!' "B-but you did extremely well?? Considering the fact that it was a surprise test??" Malaysia pouted, "But you did even better! And I wanna do better as well!!"

Philipp looked at Indonesia who seemed used to Malaysia's behaviour. Philipp thought that Malaysia looked like a child throwing a fit. His first impression of Malaysia was in such contrast to how he's acting now. He used to think that Malaysia was just this chill, nonchalant and effortless dude. "I just... Read my notes every night before bed and then read them again in the morning?" Philipp said, and Malaysia stopped his tantrum and looked at Philipp. "Really?"

Philipp nodded. "Can I see your notes then?" Philipp gave him the notes that he was holding and Malaysia flipped through them. Indonesia was curious as well and went over to Malaysia's side to see what Philipp's notes looked like.

Malaysia whistled in awe, "These are the cleanest notes I've ever seen! And they're so easy to understand too!" Philipp blushed, he felt complimented. "It's...also good to eat food that boosts up your brain-power. Dark chocolate also helps you focus..." Malaysia lifted his head and turned to Philipp, "Is that why you always nibble on dark chocolate during classes?" Philipp nodded shyly.

"Can I borrow your notes, then? I'll give them back once I'm done, I promise." Philipp nodded happily, "Of course!" Indonesia raised a brow, "Why don't you just take pictures of them?"

Malaysia shook his head, "If I take pictures of them they'll just sit useless in my gallery, never to be looked at again. Plus, it's better to actually write things down, that way you could get a better understanding of what you're writing."

"Is that why you never replied to the video I sent after you saved it? You never looked at it?" Indonesia asked as they began walking back to the dorms again. "You sent me a video?" Malaysia asked, and Indonesia smacked Malaysia on the back of his head. "Ow! What the fuck?!" Philipp stifled his laughter and looked away from the two.

The two suddenly turned their attention back to Philipp who was trying desperately not to laugh. Indonesia smiled, and Malaysia gave a lopsided grin. But soon that grin faded as he looked away from the two. "I'll return your notes tomorrow, Phil," Malaysia said, and that's when Philipp suddenly remembered.

"Ah! No, actually, now that you've mentioned it... My entrance exam is tomorrow so I'll be gone the whole day." The two perked up, "Oh! Well, good luck! I won't bother you tonight then." Indonesia said and Philipp chuckled. He didn't really feel bothered by Indonesia, but he appreciates the gesture. "Thank you."

"I can already tell you're going to pass with flying colours, so why even bother with meaningless goodlucks?" Malaysia stated and started walking faster than the two. Philipp looked at Malaysia's back in confusion. "Is he okay? Is he still bitter about his test score earlier?" He asked. Indonesia chuckled and patted Philip's head, "No, he's bothered by something else. You don't need to worry too much about it though. Just focus on your exam." Philipp nodded. He felt so warm and taken care of because of these two.

When they got back to their dorms and separate rooms, Malaysia placed his things down on his desk, and flopped on his bed, hugging his bolster tightly. His heart was pounding so much that he felt like it was about to jump out of his chest. "What the fuck... I'm not even-..." He sighed as he grabs his phone from his pocket and texted Indonesia.

The two ended their text conversation after getting sidetracked and Indonesia charged his phone before staring up at the ceiling.

Malaysia liking Philipp wasn't unforeseen for him. He knew it was going to happen, but for some reason, he was not really that bothered by it. But then, Indonesia thought about what Malaysia said. If one of them gets chosen, the other would get hurt. But if neither of them gets chosen, then they would both be hurt but it would be fine since at least they still have each other, right?

"But is that really enough..?" Indonesia whispered to himself. Having Philipp by their side, even if he's just their friend, already felt so good. He was comforting to be with and fun. He treated both of them equally and he doesn't feel it's right if they just went back to being a duo with Philipp out of the picture.

Indonesia started imagining what life would be if Philipp was no longer in the picture, and he saw it to be bland.

Meanwhile, in the room just across from his, Philipp was studying hard for the exams. He's desperate to get away. The college that he's enrolling on is on the other side of the country, so it's far enough to get away from whatever or whomever he's trying to escape from.

But Philipp knows. He knows that he'll be found eventually. He could already feel a sense of dread and he's not sure if he's ready to face it yet.

Philipp closed his book and his notes and neatly stacked them together before placing them on his desk. He looked at his door and saw that it was locked, he sighed. "Time for a break..." He mumbled.

~-⚠️🔞⚠️-~

His heart was beating fast, so fast he felt that it might jump right out of his chest. He couldn't believe that he was doing this in the dorms. He couldn't believe that he was doing this at all! But, hormones are hormones, what can he do?

Philipp took off his tank top and boxers, now sitting completely bare in his bed. He sat on his knees and gave a tenacious grip on his girth. It wasn't spectacularly huge, nor was it of average length, and Philipp had always been ashamed of that fact.

He shielded himself with his wings to cover the degeneracy he was doing, despite his knowledge that it was completely normal for a teenager his age to do this, he couldn't help but be ashamed.

Philipp started stroking himself, teasing his tip like he always did. Philipp panted, he felt as though it wasn't enough. He uncovered himself and looked around before he finally saw his dresser drawer, he then opened the bottom drawer and saw his phone that he hasn't used in a while, and a bottle of lube that he had brought with him.

Philipp huffed and took the bottle, but before he could close it, he saw another text pop up from his lock screen.

«Mi:»
‹"Your exams are tomorrow, right?"›

Not a minute later, another text popped up. It was an image and Philipp didn't want to open it.

«Mi:»
‹"[Sent an image.]"›

«Mi:»
‹"Who are they?"›

Philipp gulped and closed the drawer so he didn't have to read or see any of the texts anymore.

«[2,254 unread text messages from Mi]»

Philipp felt even more stressed, he could still hear his phone buzzing. He shivered and covered himself with his wings again as he tries to drown out the vibrations coming from the drawer.

He dispensed lube on his hand and Philipp shivered at the feeling of the cold, slippery substance. He then spreads it all over his hand and spreads his legs a little wider. He was now sitting against the wall as he travelled his hand down to his hole and carefully inserted a finger in.

Philipp covered his mouth with his free hand as he let out a squeak. Philipp started thrusting his finger in and out, the wet squelching noises embarrassed him, but he kept going. He then added a second finger and started scissoring himself. Philipp gasped and panted heavily as he began prodding his fingers around, trying to find that special spot that'll make his vision go blank for a second.

"Ah.. ah..." He moaned and whimpered softly, he imagined he was doing this with someone-no, he's alone, he can be honest with himself for once. He imagined he was doing this with more than one person. One made out with him while the other was fingering him.

He placed two fingers in his mouth and started sucking and licking them as if he were sucking on someone else's shaft. He could hear voices, voices he thought were familiar until the faceless figures in his imagination manifested to look like real people. People he actually knew.

Indonesia and Malaysia's faces popped up in his head, and before he knew it, warm liquid sprayed all over his naked body. Philipp pulled away his fingers from his mouth and his other fingers from his hole before he finally opened his eyes again.

The sight made his cheeks burn hotter than the Sun. "Oh gosh... I'm disgusting..." He mumbled and sighed before going to the bathroom to wash himself. He couldn't possibly tell Malaysia that one of his "tricks" for studying was to relieve some stress.

Once he got out of the bathroom, he went to the kitchen to eat a hearty meal. A brain can't function with an unsatisfied stomach. Philipp hummed as he made his dinner and prepared the ingredients for his breakfast tomorrow. He already has a plane ticket, so everything's set and done for tomorrow. All he has to do is show up for the entrance exams and pass it.

'I can do this!'

Philipp smiled to himself, happy and giddy. He could only hope that he passes.

The next day, Philipp left early for the airport. He passed a note underneath Indonesia's door to tell him of his absence before he left. Once he got to the city, he wasted no time and went straight to the college he wishes to enrol in. All he did when he was on the plane was eat almonds and study for the exam.

The passengers next to him were in awe at the studious young man while some of the mothers started comparing their children to him. Saying that they should be just like Philipp who studies without a break.

The room was quiet as all the students around him started to prepare for the exam. Once the buzzer clicked, all heads tilted down as they stared at their exam sheets. Philipp flipped through the test papers first and went ahead to answer the questions that he found difficult before moving on to the ones he found easy.

It took Philipp half an hour, he was one of the students to finish early, and as a congratulatory present for the students, the professors took the students who finished early, out to eat at a restaurant. Philipp didn't want to eat much despite the professors begging him to. He eventually gave in and ordered a basket of cheesy nachos.

Though, Philipp was worried. He wasn't even sure if he was going to pass. And on top of that... The exams were finished so that means he might show up soon...

Philipp shook away the thoughts for now. After having lunch with the professors and other students, he bid them goodbye and went straight back to the airport. He still has two hours left before his flight, so he looked around the airport, trying to find something he could give as a souvenir to his new friends until he saw the matching keychains. It was perfect.

Three matching keychains for the three of them.

Philipp smiled as he bought the keychains with his own pocket money before he sat down on a nearby bench and set an alarm for 30 minutes before he dozed off for a nap.

Meanwhile, Indonesia and Malaysia were just chilling in the gardens when Indonesia kept being giddy at how Philipp sent him a note. The note read;

"It's currently 3 AM as I'm writing this note. My flight's at 5, and the exam's at 6:30. I hope I'll make it in time! I'll probably be gone for the whole day! But I promise I'll come back with a little souvenir for you and Mal! ~Philippines"

Malaysia rolled his eyes at his friend. "I didn't know this is how you'd be with your crush. It's fucking gross." Malaysia said with a sneer, though he didn't really mean what he said, and Indonesia knew that. But still, he punched his friend on the shoulder for it.

"Oh! By the way, you told me yesterday that you were going to tell me what "Bi" means today!" Indonesia said, and Malaysia nodded. "Bi means bisexual, if you use your brain you'd know that bi means two, and I'm sure you know what sexual means. Being bisexual means you're attracted to the two genders." Indonesia raised a brow, "At the same time?" Malaysia shook his head. "Not necessarily. There's also a term for people who get attracted to more than one person at the same time; they're called polyamorists."

Indonesia nodded, "Ohhh, I didn't know such terms existed." Malaysia rolled his eyes, "You know, you have textbook smarts but you lack street smarts." He said as he knocked on his friend's head once before Indonesia slapped his hand away. "Shut up!" Indonesia sighed. "There's also this thing called polyamory, and it's the practice of having more than one romantic partner where all parties consent to it so it isn't considered cheating."

Indonesia raised a brow, "Isn't that like in Muslims though?" Malaysia shook his head, "For the Muslims, it's called polygyny, where only the man is allowed to have more than one spouse. For polyamory, it can go both ways,, or all the ways until it just forms into a web of relationships."

"But wouldn't people be confused?" Malaysia shrugs, "Some people find a way to make it work." Indonesia hummed, "Are you suggesting something here?" Indonesia asked, "Yes." Malaysia was quick to answer. "If the only way for neither of us to get hurt is through polyamory, then I'm all for it. You said it doesn't bother you if I'm your rival, and I gave it some thought and I realized it doesn't bother me if you're my rival, too. And with polyamory, we don't have to be rivals."

Indonesia gasped, "Oh my goodness, Malay! This is the first time you've used your brain! This is amazing!!" Indonesia laughed, and Malaysia punched him in the arm to make him stop. "This is serious!" Indonesia chuckled, "I know! I know... I'm just, glad we found a way around this? The only problem is, would Philipp even be okay with it? Does he even like us back?" Now Indonesia was starting to ask scary questions.

Malaysia hummed, "I don't know, but for me, as long as I know I like him, I'll figure something out." Indonesia grinned, "Same here. And I won't lose to you!" Malaysia raised a brow, "As if I'd let you win?" The two chuckled.

"But wait, what do we do when we get to college?" Indonesia asked yet another scary question. "Malaysia shrugged, "I dunno, what do you plan on doing?" Indonesia's brows furrowed. "I... Don't really want to lose the opportunity of working or studying abroad... No matter how much I like Philipp..." Malaysia nodded, "Then I'll do the same."

Indonesia was taken aback and was about to ask why, but Malaysia beat him to it and answered without him having to verbally ask. "I like Philipp, I really do. I like him as a friend, and I like him as a potential lover. I want to court him, date him, maybe even do the deed with him, but all of that could be done some other time in the future. We can study abroad, keep in touch with Philipp through letters, and try to make this shit work. I'll admit that it'll probably be not easy, but hell, we'll try anyway. And if it doesn't work out, then fine. That's the way the cookie crumbles. After we study abroad, we can either go back here or have Philipp come with us."

Indonesia was dumbfounded by what his friend had just said. He already has everything planned out and he had just discovered that he liked Philipp yesterday! "You must've done a lot of thinking last night, huh? Does your head not hurt? Are you sick?" Indonesia asked and placed the back of his hand on his friend's forehead, but Malaysia slapped it away.

"I'm not sick! ....though I wish I was so Philipp could take care of me, maybe he could even put on one of those cute nurses outfits." Indonesia cringed at his friend. "You know that that's not what nurses actually wear, right?" Malaysia shrugged, "So? He'd still look cute in it!" Indonesia flicked his forehead. "Idiot! You can't do that to Philipp!" Malaysia hissed and rubbed his forehead. Indonesia huffed, "You literally, legally cannot do that to Philipp."

"Why not?" Malaysia asked, "Uh? Hello? We're 18?" Malaysia was struck with the realization, "Oh yeah. Oof, guess we'll do some waiting then." He sighed, as if in disappointment and Indonesia smacked him again. "You dirty bitch!" Malaysia smacked him back, "As if you've never thought about it!!"

While the two bickered, Philipp was about to board the plane when he sneezed twice. "Looks like someone's been talking about you, young man." Said the old lady behind him. Philipp smiled a little and let the old woman board first, to which she thanked him.

When Philipp finally came back to the school's campus, he was extremely exhausted from all that travelling and studying. When he arrived at the dorms, he was greeted by Malaysia and Indonesia who surprised him with a cake. It was his favourite Mango cheesecake that he told them about a week ago.

Philipp couldn't help but blush. "U-uhm, t-thank you... I, I'm not sure what to say... I'm not even sure if I passed yet..." He said as he looked away shyly. "It's not about whether or not you passed," Indonesia said, to which Malaysia continued, "It's about finishing the exam and getting home safely!"

Philipp's heart felt warm and fuzzy, this time, he couldn't deny the two when they offered him food. "Haha, okay okay, uhm, I will just put my stuff back inside my room." The two nodded and watched as Philipp walked away. Malaysia sighed in relief, "I thought he wasn't going to like it, sheesh. Good thing you remembered he likes mango cheesecake. I was about to buy chocolate." Indonesia snickered.

Meanwhile, Philipp's face flushed red, he couldn't regulate his heartbeat. He took a few deep breaths in an attempt to calm himself down, luckily it worked and it slowly went back to normal. He got up from the floor and placed his bag on his desk before he grabbed the keychains that he had bought. Each had a string attached to the end of it, green, red, and yellow. Philipp smiled to himself and couldn't help but think that it looks like a traffic light. He snickers at the thought before leaving his room.

"Uhm..." The two turned around to face Philipp, "All I could find at the airport were these, so I'd hope that it's good enough..." He said as he showed them the matching key chains. The two gasped and took the keychain that they liked. Philipp chose the right colours as Malaysia took the green, and Indonesia took the red. Philipp smiled as he kept the yellow keychain for himself and shoved it back into his pocket. "Shall we eat?"

The two nodded eagerly as they shared the cake. It was sweet and harmonious and Philipp wouldn't have it any other way.

. . .

After a long, exhausting day, Philipp showered and went straight to bed. The hard part was done, now he would just have to prepare himself for the scary part.

Philipp yawned and nuzzled himself in his pillow and hugged one of his extra pillows as he slowly fell asleep.

Not far from the foot of his bed, his phone continued buzzing periodically every minute.

The next morning, Philipp washed his face after waking up from his comfortable slumber. He didn't even need to take melatonin gummies this time.

He took his laptop from his desk and opened it, looking to see if he's received any messages from the university or any of his adoptive family.

And there was an email. From the university. Philipp's eyes widened as he nervously opened and read it.

«["Dear Mr. Philippines,
On behalf of (××××) University, we would like to congratulate and welcome you for passing our entrance exams on ××/××/2023 with an outstanding score of 198/200! We hope to see you walk past our University gates and be a part of our college!"]»

Philipp's eyes widened as he gasped. He held his laptop firm and rushed out of his room and started knocking frantically on Indonesia's door.

[Indonesia]

I groaned when frantic knocking interrupted me from my dreams. 'THE SCHOOL BETTER BE ON FIRE OR ELSE GOD HELP ME I WILL--' I opened the door and a laptop's screen was being shoved into my face.

Soon enough my vision cleared and it was an email from a university. 'Wait, isn't this Philipp's University?' I read the email and my eyes widened, I looked at the person behind the laptop, and he wore the brightest, widest smile I have ever seen on a person. "I did it!" He squealed happily and I couldn't help but hug him.

"I knew you could do it!!"

Philipp laughed. We stayed like that for a while until everything came settling in and I guess Philipp realized our position and immediately pulled himself away. He cleared his throat and looked away, "U-uhm, a-anyway... Would you and Malaysia like to come and celebrate with me?" I smiled, "Of course! You go ahead and prepare. I'll call up Malaysia and prepare as well." Philipp nodded happily and walked back to his room.

[Narrator]

He placed his laptop down and e-mailed his father. Philipp made a deal with him and said that if he ever passed the exams, then he would double Philipp's monthly allowance. Philipp's father was quick to transfer some money into his bank account and sent him a congratulatory email. Philipp was so happy and proud of himself for this. All those sleepless and exhausting nights finally paid off.

He locked the door to his room and began undressing before heading to his closet to prepare his clothes and then to the bathroom to shower. Philipp felt so giddy, he couldn't wait to go to college.

Indonesia was still sitting on his bed, texting Malaysia. He knew that it takes Philipp a long time to dry his wings so he was just laying around for now.

Indonesia sighed and looked at the percentage of his phone and wondered if he should charge it or not. Eventually he decided on charging it even though it was still on 90% before going to the bathroom to shower.

[Indonesia]

I got out of my room with my phone and wallet in my pockets and looked around and noticed that Philipp's probably not done drying himself yet.

I went to the living room and saw the twins already coming out of the room sleepy-eyed and heading to the kitchen. "You're up early," I said. New Zealand went to make coffee for himself while heating the water on our electric stove, assumably for Australia which doesn't drink coffee.

Australia yawned, "Our older brother's coming over, so" he yawns once more. "He's big on discipline and shit so he expects us to welcome him over early." He stretched his arms back and groaned.

I perked up at the mention of their brother, sometimes I hear them on a video call with their two older brothers who are both in college, one sounded strict while the other was pretty carefree as he played online games with them. "Both of your older brothers are in (××××) University, right?" I asked and Australia nodded, grabbing the mug of fresh, hot cocoa that New Zealand had made for him while New Zealand's still waiting for his coffee to brew.

"What year are they on?" I asked, trying to keep the conversation going as I wait for Philipp. "Canada's already in his fourth year studying BSI so he'll be graduating soon, and America's in his second year of the same course." New Zealand answered. I nodded and observed the two for a bit. New Zealand was the more responsible of the two, and Australia was a bit more carefree. From what I know, New Zealand is planning to take up education, so he'll be a teacher, and Australia is taking up culinary as he'll be the one inheriting their family business.

"Where are you going?" Australia asked, I pulled myself out of my trance and saw that Australia was already cooking up a storm. This is the first time I've seen him cook. Their brother must be pretty scary. "Oh, Philipp asked me to celebrate with him, so we'll be going out for the day." I smiled, I couldn't help but feel the warmth on my cheeks.

I noticed the twins glance at each other, "Oh, he passed?" New Zealand asked and I nodded, though quite confused at the way he phrased the question. 'Why does he sound so disappointed that Philipp passed the entrance exams?' "Well, congratulate him for us." He said and I reluctantly nodded.

A few more minutes passed and Philipp finally came out. "Sorry, it took so long, let's go? It'll be my treat for today." He smiled, I smiled back and nodded. When we left the dorms, Philipp looked around. 'Is he looking for Malaysia?'

"Malaysia said that he won't be able to make it. He's still not finished with his notes so I assume he rewrote all of them." I said, Philipp looked disappointed but I placed my arm over his shoulders and grinned, "Hey, cheer up! Pretty soon you'll be helping people! You and Malay could have your own little celebration so it evens out!" I said with a smile.

Philipp seemed to have been cheered up by what I said and nodded, "O-okay!" I chuckled as we went down the elevator with my arm still comfortably resting on his shoulders.

. . .

"So, where would you like to go?" I asked, Philipp hummed, "Should we go out to eat? My treat." He grinned, and I nodded, "Sure!" The two of us got into a cab in the backseat. "Where to, sirs?" Asked the driver, "Jollibee!" Philipp chirrup.

"I've never been there before," I said and Philipp looked at me in disbelief and gasped, "Really?! Owemji, you have to try it! It's like, my favourite fast food restaurant!" He squealed, donning a cheeky grin that reaches his eyes. I couldn't help but be infected by it. "Alright, I can't help but be excited now." I chuckle.

When we arrived at the restaurant, I looked at the menu while Philipp and I stood in line. "Hmm.... I'll have the burger steak with a side of the... Tuna pie? And the coke float." I said and Philipp nodded.

I couldn't help but stare at him while he was choosing what to order. "What will you be having?" I asked, "Uhm... Probably the spicy chicken with palabok and a side of fries, peach mango pie and an ice cream sundae with coke float as well." I smiled and nodded, "Quite the heavy meal you got there." I commented and he chuckled rather cutely.

"Can you ask what Malaysia would like?" I nodded, hiding my frown with a smile. Even if it's just us Philipp still thinks about Malaysia. 'I mean- even I think about him as well, but he's my friend! ....and I guess Philipp's his friend now, too.' The three of us are friends... But I can't help but have this paranoia that Philipp might only have eyes for Malaysia? Am I overthinking this?

"He said yes." Philipp nodded and I looked behind him and was shocked to see that we were already next in line.

When it was our turn, Philipp told me to find a table for us while he handled our orders. I agreed and left to look for the perfect spot. The first floor was full so I climbed up the stairs to the second floor and found a table for two near the window and I immediately took it.

I don't know why, but this spot reminds me of one of those cliché romance scenes that Malaysia used to make me watch. Never thought I'd see the day when I would get to relate.

I looked away from the window and was shocked to see Philipp suddenly sitting in front of me. That was quick. He placed the buzzer on our table as he smiles at me. "Sorry, did I interrupt you and your thoughts?" He asked coyly.

[Philipp]

Indonesia smiles as he shook his head, "No, it's okay. It wasn't anything important." He chuckled gently. Indonesia is so nice and calm, it's nice to hang out with him when Malaysia's not around.

It's not that there's anything wrong with Malaysia! He's just as great and just as fun to hang out with. But unlike Indonesia, he's much more energetic and talkative and loud. I enjoy that, I really do, but sometimes I just need to take a bit of a breather. And Indonesia provides that perfectly. And sometimes, when I need excitement and fun, Malaysia is just the right person to approach.

When I came up to the second floor, Indonesia looked like he was deep in thought. And the way that he was looking out of the window reminded me of some cliché romance scene I used to watch. 'I wish I could've taken a picture of him.'

After some time, the buzzer finally vibrated and I stood up to get our orders, but then Indonesia got up as well. "Oh, no! I'll get the trays, don't worry about it." I smiled, but Indonesia shook his head. "You were the one who ordered and paid, it's only fair that I at least get the tray."

I thought about it and eventually, I agreed and sat back down while Indonesia left to get our food with a grin on his face as if he had just won something.

Minutes later he came back holding two trays on each hand and I got up to help him. 'I shouldn't have ordered so much food... Sorry, Indonesia!'

We carefully set down the food on the table and gave the trays to a waiter who was close by and we started to dig in.

. . .

After we ate, we got out of the restaurant and I looked at Indonesia who seemed satisfied with what he ate. "Where should we head to next?" I asked, Indonesia looked at me and smiled, "Want to head to the park?" I smiled back and nodded. "Sure!"

After getting out of the cab, we went to the park. I honestly thought that we were going to go to one of the lesser-known and smaller parks, but we ended up here in the city's biggest park.

"I actually have a reason for taking you here. Do you know how to skate?" Indonesia asked, my cheeks flushed and I shook my head. Indonesia grinned and held out his hand. "Then, would you like to learn?"

I looked away for a bit before looking back at Indonesia and then at his hand that he offered me and I hesitantly took it. Indonesia beamed and took me deeper into the park where we saw a rental store for rollerblades.

I gulped as Indonesia paid for the shoes and told me to take any shoe. I looked at the shopkeeper nervously and asked; "Uhm, do you have a size 37?" I asked and the shopkeeper looked at the racks of rollerblades and shook his head, "Sorry sir, but the last girl just took it. We still have a size 38 though." Said the shopkeeper.

I sighed and nodded, smiling as he hands me the shoes and I end up leaving my shoes behind. I looked at Indonesia who had already worn his shoes and was just waiting for me. "Uhm- sorry but I uh-" He chuckles, "It's fine. Just take your time." I blushed slightly and nodded as I started wearing the shoes.

I tried to stand up but ended up stumbling forward. Luckily Indonesia caught me and he guided me out of the rental store and took me further into the park where it was less crowded.

"Do you know how to ice skate?" He asked and I shook my head once more. 'Seriously, is there anything that I know how to do?' Right now I'm about as useful as a mould.

Indonesia chuckled, "It's okay, I'll teach you." He said, he stood up straight and formed a v-shape with his feet and slowly started striding, one foot at a time. "Don't be too hard on yourself if you don't get it the first time. We have all the time in the world." He said as he looks back at me with a smile.

I took a deep breath and did as he showed me. My heart is thumping really loud, I'm so nervous! 'It feels like my heart is about to jump out of my chest!!'

I formed a v-shape with my feet and took a stride forward with my right foot. I crouched and flinched when I almost fell out of balance again. I gulped and took another stride forward, but my movements are stiff and my foot ended up sliding a little too far I was about to fall backwards and on my tush, but then Indonesia was there to catch me yet again. His hand was gripping my wrist while his other hand gripped around my waist to keep me from falling further. He pulled me up, but when he did our faces got too close for comfort.

I felt my face heat up again and I looked away. I could hear Indonesia's gentle laugh as he straightened me up and he made me stand on my feet again. "How about I just hold you instead until you're brave enough to skate on your own?" I gulped and nodded, "S-s-sure..."

'Oh my gosh, what is this situation?! Aaah!!'

I took a deep breath and I followed Indonesia's lead instead. He was skating backwards while pulling me along with him. "You probably shouldn't crouch, it'll put all your weight behind which will really make you fall." He advised. I followed it and carefully stood straight while slowly following Indonesia's foot movements.

"There you go! Are ready for me to let go?" I looked back up at Indonesia and shook my head frantically. "D-don't! Don't let go of me! Please-" For a moment, I saw a switch in Indonesia's facial expression before it turned into a gentle smile. "Alright, I won't ever let you go." For some reason the way he said it made my cheeks burn again.

But then Indonesia turned around, he was still holding me, but this time instead of holding both my hands, he was only holding one. "You're doing pretty well, let's circle this whole mound and maybe we can call Malaysia and make him jealous of all the fun we're having." He chuckled, and I couldn't help but giggle and agree.

When we circled the entire mound, we stopped by a bench, and I was holding onto a lamppost for support while Indonesia was sitting down at the bench, gulping down a bottle of water before handing one to me.

I carefully sat down on the bench and rested for a bit before taking a small sip of water as I gasp and pant. Indonesia didn't let go of my hand until we reached this bench, and I could feel people staring at us while we skated.

"When... Did you learn how to skate?" I asked as I looked at Indonesia who was already looking at me. "Uhh, I think I was around 5? It first started with ice skating and I really liked it, but my parents said that since we couldn't go to the rink that often, they told me to try out roller skating instead, and I liked it just the same." He said and I nodded.

"What about you? Do you do any sports?" I looked down and thought about it for a bit. "Uhh, well, my biological father and I used to play basketball a lot, but when he passed, I didn't really do any sports... I'm not that sporty actually, hehe..." I chuckled awkwardly.

Indonesia smiles at me softly, "That's okay. Do you have any other interests besides sports or studying?" He asked and I was confident enough to answer. "I play the guitar and I sing a bit, too."

Indonesia perked up, "Then, can you sing right now?" I flinched and buried my face in my hands while unconsciously covering myself with my wings to hide. "Oops, sorry. Did I make you uncomfortable?" Indonesia asked.

"U-uh-! N-n-n-no!- I- uhm, s-sorry, I'm just uh-" I panicked, my face is hot and my heart was beating like crazy that I felt like I could die!

From the other side of my wings, I heard Indonesia softly chuckle. "Don't worry, you don't have to sing if you don't want to." I slowly lowered my wings and looked at him, "A-are you sure...?" I asked, he nodded as he continued to smile.

"Shall we call Malaysia now?" I nodded shyly.

Indonesia video called Malaysia and had the camera face us, not a minute later and Malaysia answered the call. Malaysia was seen shirtless and sitting on what I assume is his desk with his phone leaning onto something to give us a view of him and his room. It looked like Malaysia was still writing with his notes, and behind him, I could see the state that his room is in. 'Goodness me, was it attacked by a typhoon?'

"Hey, Mal. You still busy with that?" Indonesia started and Malaysia nodded, not bothering to look at us. "Uhuh. Where are you? Did Philipp leave your ass?" He asked, and I was confused by the question. "What? No. He's here with me right now."

Malaysia noticeably flinched and finally turned his head to the camera. Our eyes met and it took him a while to answer. "...are you two in the park?" He asked, and we nodded. Malaysia's brows furrowed and he turned his gaze towards me again. "Did he try to teach you how to skate?"

I flinched and before I could answer, Malaysia turned to Indonesia who, before Malaysia could even say anything, just stuck his tongue out at Malaysia who pursed his lips and seemed annoyed.

Malaysia turned to me again and said; "Indonesia used to always wanna teach me how to skate, but I always get bruised! He's a terrible teacher!" Malaysia berated. I chuckled, "It was fine for me, though. Indonesia guided me the whole way through." I smiled and Malaysia rolled his eyes. "Tsk! Favouritism much?" Indonesia laughed, "You're just jealous." Now it was Malaysia who stuck his tongue out at Indonesia.

"Whatever!! I gotta get these notes finished!! I'm almost done, just five more lessons. Thanks again Philipp for lending these to me. I'll bring them back later tonight." I nodded and smiled, "Sure!" Malaysia returned my smile with a lopsided one before ending the video call.

Indonesia chuckled and placed his phone back in his pocket before stretching his arms backwards. "Shall we get going, then?" I looked at him and nodded. Indonesia stood up and held his hand out to me once more, and I took it.

. . .

We got out of the park and walked around the city until we reached the bay. We bought a couple of street food and found a bench to sit on as we stared into the calming sea.

"Congratulations on passing the entrance exams," Indonesia said. I smiled and took a bite out of my isaw. "Thank you," I said, the smile not leaving my lips. "You'll make an amazing nurse and you'll be helping a lot of people." He said. My heart couldn't help but feel warm and fuzzy.

"Thank you for hanging out with me, today was a lot of fun." I said and Indonesia chuckled, "I'd ditch anything and everything just to hang out with you."

My eyes widened and I looked at Indonesia who had his eyes still glued to the calming waves. My cheeks flushed. 'Did Indonesia just confess?'

. . .

We came back to school not long after and went straight to our dorm. But when we entered the dorm, my face turned pale.

I hid behind Indonesia as we walked through the living room and into the hallway where our rooms are and I rushed into my room. I gasped and panted and locked my door. I looked at my alarm clock and saw that it was already 9:53 PM.

I took a deep breath and stabilized my heartbeat before leaning my ears against the door, trying to see if I could hear anything.

'Shit, he's here!!!' I should've switched dorms when I found out Australia and New Zealand were gonna be my dormmates! Fuck!

Shit, I can't even move! I'll just stay here until I'm certain that he's gone...

. . .

I don't know how long it has been since I've sat against the door, but I peeked through the cracks of my door and saw that the lights had been turned off and I couldn't hear voices anymore. However, I do hear muffled footsteps. I froze, thinking that it was coming towards me, but slowly calmed down when I realized that it was walking in the opposite direction.

I also heard the front door close. I sighed in relief and felt as though I could finally breathe. Until... I heard a buzz from my phone. But this time, it wasn't a text message.

My phone continued to buzz and even after it would end, it would start buzzing again. I gulped and nervously opened the drawer. The call had just ended.

«[28 Missed Calls from Mi]»

When it began ringing again, I sighed and finally answered it, putting it up to my ear. And, for a while, I couldn't hear anything but a deep exhale.

"You've kept me waiting for a long time, love." His voice was deep and chilly. I felt like I might freeze to death if I lingered for too long. "I-I-I'm... Sorry..." I heard a deep inhale from the other side of the phone before being followed by yet another deep exhale. 'He must be smoking.'

"If you're so sorry, then come out here and face me. You've been avoiding me for a while now." I took a deep, shaky breath, and I obliged. "Okay..." I could feel his smile through my phone screen. "Wonderful. I'm just outside your dorm, don't keep me waiting any longer, mon petit lapin."

The call ended and I could hardly stand. I felt like my legs have gone limp. But, that's not an excuse. 'I... Can't make him wait any longer.' This was bound to happen. I can't keep delaying the inevitable.

I forced myself up from the floor and left my room. When I came face to face with the front door, I held the doorknob, but my hands wouldn't move. I gulped and tried my best to stop my hands from shaking until I could finally get the door to open.

"Took you long enough. Did you enjoy playing hide and seek with me?" I looked up at him, his emerald green eyes were piercing right through me. "Step out here and talk to me, Philipp."

I stepped out as he told me and looked up at him.

"I... I'm- I'm sorry..." I began to sob. Suddenly this whole burden that I've been carrying finally spilt and I felt like a dam that just broke.

"I couldn't- I couldn't take it- I felt too guilty, please forgive me!" I pleaded as I sobbed. Canada simply just stared down at me, his face didn't show any emotion, but I know that he was confused.

He sighed, "You can't just run away and ghost me and then start crying in front of me without even telling me the reason behind everything you just did." He said. His voice was calm, but I can tell that he was seeping with anger right now.

"I... I couldn't bear the guilt of being unfaithful to you, I'm sorry!" I sobbed.

[Narrator]

Canada's eyes widened, but it wasn't from shock, but rather, from disgust. "Is this about your whole polygamy bullshit again? What the fuck is wrong with you?"

Canada's tone of voice was calm and even despite seething with anger. "You can't just fucking ghost me for weeks like this, Philipp! You could've at least fucking talked to me!" It was slowly becoming too much for Canada to keep his emotions in and he ended up lightly punching the wall next to Philipp, only a few inches away from his face.

Malaysia yawned as he held onto Philipp's notebook dearly as he waited for the elevator to stop at Philipp and Indonesia's door. And when it did, he leisurely stepped out and when he turned to a corner, he saw his dear friend, having what seemed to be, an argument with somebody 3x their size.

Malaysia looked around and decided to hide in the staircase, peeking as he watched the two.

[Malaysia]

I watched as the guy punches the wall beside Philipp, almost hitting his perfect face. The guy started yelling in a whisper, I couldn't hear anything, but based on their body language, the guy is incredibly angry and Philipp is trying to appease his anger.

Eventually, the guy started crying, but his tears were not sad, it was angry. Very angry. And Philipp had said something that seemed to have appeased his anger and calmed him down a bit. I saw them exchange a few words until the guy grabbed Philipp and began dragging him over to the elevator. I immediately rushed down to the ground floor to try and catch them.

Thankfully, I was fast enough to catch them about to leave the elevator, but then, what was I gonna do? What should I even do? It's not like I know what's going on between these two. But still, I hid in the shadows and watched as the man started dragging Philipp away from the building. 'Are they leaving the campus?'

. . .

I yawned and continued to wait by the stairwell. I fished my phone out of my pocket and looked at the time; 3:45 AM. When I shoved my phone back into my pocket, I saw a familiar silhouette walking groggily. I stood up, ready to help him, but he simply walked past me and went straight to the elevator as if he was on autopilot.

And just as the elevator was about to open, Philipp looked at me with tired, puffy eyes. It was as if he had known that I'd seen everything and he was begging me to keep quiet. I gulped and nodded before watching him get inside the elevator. I sighed helplessly and went back to my dorm...

...a week passed and Philipp was back to his usual sunshiney attitude the next day after that night. He walked with a limp that he was trying to hide but it didn't escape our observation. When you like someone, you end up observing and analysing every behaviour and action that your crush makes and would unconsciously mimic it.

Indonesia asked me what happened to Philipp, but I only shrugged and told him that I didn't know. The third quarterly exams are rolling in so now the three of us are in the library, reviewing our lectures.

I glance at Philipp who's chewing on gum and seemingly memorizing his notes. He would read it over and over again and then close his notebook to try and recite it. He also made a practice test for himself and tried to answer it. So this is what he does. Seems like too much effort.

I heard a heavy thud and glanced at Philipp who closed his notes and books and folded his arms before laying his head on them. "Could you wake me up when it's time for the next class?" He yawned. Indonesia smiled "Sure Phil, we'll make sure to wake you." Philipp let out a gentle smile before drifting off to sleep.

I looked at Philipp's sleeping form until Indonesia nudged me. I looked at him and he had his brows furrowed. "What?" I asked, "Study." He said. I groaned and rolled my eyes before going back to my notes. I underline and write down the parts that I think are important and tried to understand myself with the terms and the topic itself. Understanding is the key.

. . .

After the exams, I stretched my arms back and groaned. I turned to Philipp who finally has this peaceful look on his face. "Finally, we're free... For now." He chuckles. It's the weekend again, and there are no assignments or surprise short tests to prepare for. "Let's go out to eat. My treat." I said. Indonesia yawned and shook his head, "I'll pass... I need to catch up on some sleep." He yawns again.

Philipp chuckles softly and gently patted his shoulder. "Rest well, Indonesia, you deserve it." He smiles. Indonesia blushed and smiled back at Philipp, "T-thanks..."

Philipp then turns to me with the same smile, "I'm up for some food. Does your offer still stand, Malaysia?" I smile and shoved my hands in my pocket. "Of course."

Philipp and I met up at the school's gate. I had already called for a cab and was only waiting for Philipp when I saw him gliding down with his wings. I felt my cheeks burn up at the sight. 'Holy shit he's so majestic.'

Philipp landed clumsily and almost had his face planted on the ground if it weren't for me catching him at the right time. "Ehehe, sorry... Still not used to it." I chuckle, "It's fine. Let's go?" He nods.

"Where are we going?" He asked once we were in the cab. "To the mall. Do you mind if we go to the arcade to unwind?" I asked and he nodded. "Ooooh~ the arcade! It's been a long time since I've gone there!" He smiles and I chuckled. "I heard they just built a food court in the arcade, so we'll be trying that as well." Philipp nodded happily.

We didn't talk much during the entire ride, but I kept glancing at Philipp from time to time. After that night, I noticed something. Philipp seemed to be more... At peace now. As if a heavy burden had just finally left him.

When we got to the arcade, Philipp yawned and stretched his arms and wings, I blushed but I noticed some people staring at him too. I furrowed my eyes and pursed my lips. "Let's go." Philipp chuckles, "You must really like the arcade, Malaysia." He smiles, I chuckled, "I guess you could say that." I hummed. We went over to the counter and I reached for my wallet before Philipp stopped me. "You're buying the food, right?" I nodded, "Then I'll pay for the tokens." He smiles and gives the shopkeeper his card. "50 tokens, please." He smiled brightly at her. The shopkeeper blushed and eventually gave us the tokens.

"So, what should we play first?" Philipp asked, I looked around and hummed, "Hmmm... Do you play basketball?" Philipp perked up, "Yes!"...

...after completing 3 stages in the basketball game, I looked at our scores in comparison. I got 258 while Philipp got 302. "You're pretty good at this. No wonder you were so eager to play." Philipp blushed and scratched his nape shyly. "Ah... Well..."

"U-uhm! Excuse me!" We turned around to see a girl shyly holding her phone. Her cheeks were red and she was trembling. "U-uhm... My friend found you c-cute and w-wanted to ask for your number and uhh..." The girl turned to Philipp whose face just turned into a ripe tomato as he began to stutter while I tried to hold back my laughter. "U-uh- uhm- I uh- I'm not- s-sorry! B-but I'm not- uh- y-you know..." The girl looked at him confused and disappointed. "You're not single?"

Philipp's face turned even more red and at this point, I didn't even think that could be possible. '50 shades of red, lmao.' "I-I am! But uh- I-I'm not... S-straight... Sorry-" Philipp hung his head low and now it was this girl and her friend from behind's turn to be embarrassed. "O-oh! We're so sorry! We'll be leaving now- sorry for bothering you!!!!" The girl left and dragged her friend with her who bursted out in a fit of giggles.

I chuckled and looked at Philipp who was covering his face with his hands and had his wings wrapped around him as if it was for some sort of protection. I smiled and leaned against the basketball machine. "Was that your first time coming out to people?" I asked and Philipp shook his head. "I-it's different if they're not your f-family..." He said and I nodded.

"A-ah... Please don't judge me..." Philipp said as he uncovered his face but was still wrapped up in his wings. I smiled, "Of course, I won't. If it makes you feel better, I'm bi." I said, and Philipp perked up, "R-really??" I nodded and wrapped an arm over his shoulder. "Yep! So if anyone ever tries to bully you for being gay, just come to me and I'll beat the crap outta them for you." He chuckled, "Thank you..."

"Now! Are you a fan of shooting games?"

. . .

"Yes!" Philipp and I high-fived each other as we won the shooting games, "Oh! Should we race next?" Philipp pointed at the racing game and I smiled. "You're so gonna lose." Philipp chuckled, "Not in a million years." He grinned.

Philipp ended up winning and it was my first time seeing him be so competitive. We ended up playing a few more games until eventually we went to the food court to cool down.

"Can you get me the cheesy fries and nachos? And for the drinks... Probably just two bottles of water." I nodded as I went to the counter and ordered before going back to our seats.

Philipp was laying back and I simply looked at him until Philipp noticed me staring. He raised a brow, "Is there something on your mind?", "Yeah, you." Philipp's eyes widened and he blushed yet again.

"Listen, I've got a question..." I started, Philipp must've caught my serious tone and his reddish face calmed down. "Y-yes..?" I sigh, "That night... That was your boyfriend, right? Or rather, ex-boyfriend?" I asked. I expected Philipp to avoid the topic, but his eyes turned sad and he nodded. "Y-yeah... We broke up that night..."

My hands clenched into a fist underneath the table. "Was... That your first time?" Philipp shook his head, "No..." I gulped and my fists clenched up even more. "Can you... Tell me why you guys broke up? I mean- you don't have to if you don't want to of course."

Philipp sighed, "I... Ghosted him, for weeks. The reason I gave him was because I needed to focus on the entrance exam, but really it was because I was unfaithful to him. I didn't cheat on him or anything, the guy I liked didn't even know I liked him! I still liked him... It's just that, I ended up liking someone else, too. I liked them both at the same time and that wasn't fair to him so I felt guilty and thought that I should just keep my distance from him...." His head hung low and he wrapped himself with his wings once more. This time, covering his face as well.

I hummed and tried to take in the information. "You... Liked them both at the same time... But it was equal, right?", "Y-yes..." I nodded, "I see... So you're polyamorous?" I asked and Philipp started sniffling. I flinch. 'Shit did I just make him cry?!'

"S-sorry! I didn't mean to sound vindictive! It's just, uhm- I wanted to clarify and there's nothing wrong with being poly... As long as your partner is aware of it and is willing to accept it..." I said. Philipp uncovered his face and looked at me with puffy and teary eyes. "But isn't that unfair?" I shrugged. "Depends. If you're able to distribute your love to your partners equally then that shouldn't be counted as unfair." Philipp sniffled, "B-but, isn't it selfish to have more than one lover?"

I could see more tears starting to spill from his eyes. "Then, if you and your partners agree with it, be in an open relationship. That way it's neither selfish nor unfair." Philipp looked down, his eyes downcast. I guess he didn't really like that solution.

I looked over at the counter and saw that our food was ready. I got up and was about to walk over to the food when Philipp called my name. "Malaysia... What if we were together and I told you that I wanted somebody else to join our relationship?" He asked, and I blushed. 'Was that a confession?'

"I'm okay with it," I said and went over to the counter to grab our food since it had already been paid for. I set the tray down and it seems that Philipp was taken aback by my answer. "It'd be even better if I get to share you with Indonesia," I added, and Philipp blushed even more.

. . .

We went home with not many words exchanged between us, but I can tell that there has been a development. I flopped on my bed and texted Indonesia.

I placed my phone on my bedside table and hugged my bolster pillow as I thought about what happened earlier. Isn't he too young to be losing his virginity? Heck, I'm 18 and I've never even gotten laid.

[Philipp]

I lay on my back as I stared up at the ceiling. Today was... Unbelievable, to say the least. I've never met someone open to the idea of polygamy before.

I sighed as Malaysia's words replayed in my head over and over again.

"It'd be even better if I get to share you with Indonesia."

I blushed at the thought and covered my face. 'So embarrassing...'

. . .

Weeks passed and I think ever since that time with Malaysia, our bond has grown even more. And... I think they've even gotten a bit more flirty??? 'Oh god...'

Eventually, our finals were coming up and we'd been studying two weeks earlier just to prepare for it. After finals, we won't be having classes for two weeks so the teachers could assess our overall grades. And after that, graduation and summer vacation. I plan on studying more for the entire summer vacation but... Something came up.

After our final exams, the three of us went to our usual spot but... Something felt off...

When we sat down, I noticed the two looking quiet. "Uhm... Are you guys alright? Did something happen?" I asked. 'Are they nervous about their grades?'

"Philipp... We uhm, we have something we'd like to talk to you about..." Indonesia started, I looked at him and he was avoiding my gaze. 'Oh no... Are they..?'

"Before you think of anything weird, hear us out for a moment..." Malaysia said. I gulped and just stared at the two. My body felt stiff, 'what is this? I'm so nervous.'

"We like you." Indonesia blurted out, and Malaysia threw a piece of paper at him. "What the hell Indog!?! We were supposed to say that whole speech, remember?!" Malaysia angrily huffed. "I'm sorry!! I got too excited!! I couldn't help it any longer!", "Aren't you supposed to be the smart one here?!???!??"

The two started to bicker and I couldn't help but giggle at them. They stopped and turned to me, anticipating my answer. I smiled, "Would you guys like to go out with me this weekend?"

"Yes."
"YES"

I giggle.

. . .

Two weeks passed and we'd begun dating each other- well, I was dating both Malaysia and Indonesia, they weren't dating each other. I asked them if they would want an open relationship once we ever became official and they said; "No. Why should we?", "I'd much prefer if it was just us." I smiled and each kissed them. I never really liked to share in the first place.

On the day of the graduation, Malaysia and I were seated together while Indonesia was much further away since he was from a different section. We watched as the valedictorian gave her speech and soon the principal announced that we were the proud graduates of their school. We took picture after picture until Malaysia and I were pulled away from our classmates by Indonesia who was holding a camera. "Let's take a picture." He smiled happily.

Malaysia asked a fellow student to take a few pictures of the three of us.

"Hey, I know this newly opened Korean restaurant downtown, should we go next week?" Malaysia asked and Indonesia nodded, "Sounds like an incredible idea. Philipp?" I smiled, "I-"

"PHILIPPINES" I flinched and turned to see my adoptive father at the entrance, he was waiting for me and... He doesn't look too pleased with me. "I'll be there!" I said and ran towards my father.

[Narrator]

The next week, Indonesia and Malaysia ordered their set of meat to grill after 30 minutes of waiting for Philipp. "It's not like Philipp to be so late..." Indonesia mumbled sadly. "Maybe something came up," Malaysia said as he started to put the low-quality meat on the grill.

"Did you see the look on Philipp's adoptive father though? He was fuming." Indonesia said, and Malaysia kept quiet for a while. "Maybe he hasn't come out to his family yet..." Indonesia paused and looked at Malaysia. Malaysia's downcast eyes told him everything. 'Is that it? Is that the end?'

Weeks passed during their summer vacation and they hadn't received a word from Philipp. Indonesia even tried contacting Mexico but, he was blocked and that gave him all the answers he could need. Now, there was only a day left before their departure to another country. Malaysia decided to stay over Indonesia's place as they'll be heading to the airport together tomorrow.

"It was short-lived, but I enjoyed it." Indonesia smiled sadly as he pours his friend another glass of rum, it was clear that what happened with Philipp broke his heart. Malaysia kept quiet, he was just as broken as Indonesia but his personality wouldn't allow him to show it.

The two were drinking on Indonesia's balcony, his parents were already asleep in their bedroom so now it was just them. They had passed the online entrance exams and they were given a green light to fly out of the country. Today was their last night here at home. "I guess this is a sign that we should stay there for work." Malaysia chuckled.

Indonesia looks at his friend and could tell that he was hurting too. The two drank and talked the entire night, clearing up their heads as it began to feel lighter and lighter. The two fell silent as they stared up at the glittering night sky. Indonesia sighed, he looks at his friend and Malaysia looked back at him. Maybe because they were hurting, or perhaps it was the alcohol taking effect, but the gap between the two closed as they fell victim to night's mischievous antics.

. . .

Indonesia groaned as he was the first one to wake up. He looked at his phone and saw that it was 7:08 AM, and their flight was at noon. He looks at Malaysia who had his back turned to him and he nudged him, but Malaysia only groaned and shook him off.

"Wake up, we're gonna be late for our flight," Indonesia said he began lightly smacking his friend. "Ugghhhh I'll just catch up with you tomorrow." Indonesia huffed and grabbed the pillow and used it to cover his friend's head. "UGH! INDONESIA GET OFF!! I CAN'T BREATHE!!!!"

"Get up!!" Indonesia argued back as Malaysia soon fought against him and the two began to wrestle until Malaysia was able to get on top of Indonesia. "See? You're up now." Indonesia grinned, and Malaysia huffed and got off Indonesia. "Whatever. I'm using the bathroom first." Indonesia huffed, "Be quick."

. . .

Neither Indonesia nor Malaysia saw each other as a love interest after that night, and it's not like it ever happened again. After they graduated from University, they stayed in the country and found respectable work. Malaysia was able to be a Marine Biologist as he had intended, and Indonesia as an IT Engineer.

Meanwhile, Philipp worked tirelessly in the ER as a nurse. It wasn't a glamorous job to be a nurse, but he was happy every time he was able to take care of and save a patient. Sometimes though, he would think about whatever happened to Indonesia and Malaysia. He felt sad that he had to ghost them, too, but it's what he had to do. He was still young at the time, so all he could do was listen to his family. But now he's an adult and he's been handling his life on his own ever since he moved out.

Philipp was sipping his cup of coffee that he's microwaved over 8 times in the break room. Two days before Christmas, but like all the other nurses, he's not allowed to go home. Especially at times like these where accidents could happen just about anywhere and at any time. One of his colleagues rushed into the break room and turned on the TV. The news channel was reporting live and Philipp perked up, he was familiar with the news anchor presenting on TV, it used to be one of his classmates back in Junior High.

"Reporting live at (××××) it seems that (××××) Airlines has crashed into the ocean not far from (××××) City with over 280 passengers. 36 has been pronounced dead, 108 passengers have been rescued while the remaining 144 passengers are still being located."

"Shit, today's gonna be extra busy." Said one of Philipp's colleagues. And just as she said that the alarm began blaring off. And just like that, everyone scattered into an organized and calculated mess. Beds were being made, rooms are being cleared, and equipment and utilities were being prepared as they welcomed wave after wave of patients who were all nearly on the brink of death.

. . .

Philipp groaned as he placed an ice pack on his head while he wrapped himself in a blanket as he ate instant noodles in the break room. Earlier had been hectic. They were lots of patients that they were able to stabilise, but there were also lots of patients that lost their lives and had to be sent to the morgue.

It's been years and Philipp has become a seasoned nurse, so the sight of dead bodies didn't phase him all that much, but some of the fresh graduates couldn't handle it. Philipp couldn't blame them though, he was the same when he first became a nurse. He would throw up whenever a patient comes in with grotesque injuries. One even had a bone sticking out and it made Philipp physically ill for days.

"Here's your roster for the week, two new patients have been added." Said the head nurse as he places a clipboard on the table." Philipp furrowed his brows as he looks at the clipboard. His eyes widened and his face turned pale.

«Room 321»

Philipp immediately packed up and raced to their room without much hesitation. Once he arrived, he took a deep breath and calmly entered the room. He could hear the ECG calmly beeping and that gave him comfort. He looked at their medical charts and studied them as if he were preparing for a difficult test.

Both males were unconscious, and earlier, Malaysia had been going in and out of consciousness while Indonesia hasn't woken up since he arrived at the hospital.

Philipp sighed shakily, he decided that he would stay by their side until it was time for him to check on his other patients. As of now though, the head nurse put Malaysia and Indonesia on high priority for Philipp. And Philipp couldn't be happier.

Two days passed and as Philipp was injecting medication into Indonesia's IV, Malaysia's eyes slowly opened.

Malaysia, who was breathing into the oxygen mask, took it off as he analyzed where he was. White walls and the smell of anti-bacterial alcohol. 'Ah, the hospital.' Malaysia thought to himself. He tilted his head to the side and he was met by a bright and beautiful pair of wings. 'Or is this heaven disguised as a hospital? Wait, why would I be in heaven? This is probably a hospital.' Malaysia's thoughts became more and more active as his sight became clearer.

'Oh, it's Philipp. I guess this is heaven.' Philipp turned around after finishing with Indonesia's IV as he felt a pair of eyes staring at him. He turned around and couldn't believe his own eyes. He ran out of the room and called for the doctor.

A minute or two later, a doctor and a nurse as well as Philipp came in to check on Malaysia. The doctor flashes a light into his eyes and checked his pulse and heartbeat. "He seems to be in a much better condition. Take better care of your patients, Philippines. We're understaffed so we'll trust you with these two for now." Philipp nodded, "Yes doc."

Philipp sighs as the doctor and attending nurse left the room. Philipp grabbed a chair and sat in between Indonesia and Malaysia's bed. "Can you speak?" Philipp asked, Malaysia nodded, "I think so..." Malaysia winced, his vocal chords hurt but he was glad he was still somewhat able to speak.

Philipp smiled, Malaysia's voice was raspy and he knew that it hurt. "I'll have your vocal chords checked out so the doctor could prescribe you medicine for them." Malaysia smiled and nodded...

...it's been three days since Christmas passed and since Malaysia was able to wake up, but Indonesia hasn't shown signs of consciousness yet. Although his condition stabilized, Philipp was still worried that Indonesia might not ever wake up. He tries to push away the thoughts as he helps Malaysia sit up from his bed and brings him his food. It was the warm rice porridge that Malaysia has asked for, thankfully no damage to Malaysia's spine or other organs have been made, so he was able to slowly move again. "Can you pass me the chilly sauce?" Malaysia asked and Philipp was happy to do so. Malaysia also regained his voice quickly and it seemed like he was on his quick ride to recovery.

After Philipp helped Malaysia with his food, he grabbed an IV bag and began switching Indonesia's IV bag to a new one before beginning to inject his food. As he did so, Malaysia was just happily watching Philipp until he noticed Indonesia's finger twitch. It twitched and trembled until Indonesia was able to form a fist. Malaysia hasn't told Philipp yet, but he hopes that the overworked nurse notices it soon.

Philipp kept his eyes on the syringe so he didn't notice a pair of amber eyes fluttering awake and staring at his face. 'Is this a dream? I'm pretty sure I just died back there... Ow, what's that pain on my hand? Oh, it's liquid being injected into my IV. Wait, does that mean I'm still alive? Is this actually Philipp? Omg!'

Once Philipp was done with injecting Indonesia's food, he looks at Indonesia's face and was surprised to see him staring back at him. Philipp smiled and kisses his forehead, "Good morning."

"Hey, how come you didn't kiss me on the forehead when I woke up?" Philipp flinched and turns to Malaysia. "I was shocked you were alive and wanted to make sure you were fine... Anyway, I'll go call a doctor so watch over your friend for me." Philipp smiles and kisses Malaysia's cheek before leaving.

Malaysia looks at Indonesia and sticks a tongue at him. "Bleh, he kissed me on the cheek while you only got a kiss on the forehead" Indonesia's brows furrowed, but unfortunately he didn't have the strength to fight back, yet.

. . .

New Year rolled around and Philipp decided to stay with the two to celebrate. He bought cake and party poppers as they watched the fireworks go off through the window. Indonesia was able to finally sit up and eat on his own while Malaysia was finally capable of walking on his own while dragging around his IV. "Happy New Year, Malaysia and Indonesia." Philipp greeted, "Happy New Year, Phil!" The two greeted cheerfully in unison.

-Bonus-

Philipp ended up moving in with Malaysia and Indonesia. Since he wasn't being paid as much in the hospital he worked at, he was happy to quit and he had enough savings to be able to leave the country.

Philipp finally cleared up what happened and why he wasn't able to contact them. "My father found out I was gay and poly and forbade me from ever seeing you two again. He even beat me to a pulp when we got home from graduation, so..." Philipp said as he places down the last box in their room. Up until this point, Indonesia and Malaysia slept in separate rooms in a house that they had bought together, but when Philipp agreed to finally live with them, they had the walls between the two rooms knocked down and now they just have this giant bedroom with a ton of space.

"Why don't we get a walk-in closet?" Philipp suggested, "That's not a bad idea." Indonesia said and Malaysia began planning out where the closet would be. Malaysia also surprisingly had an eye for interior design which neither Indonesia nor Philipp expected when they were still in Senior High.

After successfully moving in with his boyfriends, the three celebrated the move with a casual dinner and a much less casual night.

~-❗🔞❗-~

Philipp groaned as Malaysia started to leave bite marks and hickeys on Philipp's neck and shoulder while his hands travelled around his wings, ruffling up his feathers. Philipp felt the tingling sensation of his wings being touched. As an adult, he finally understood what the tingling sensation was.

Philipp gasped as Indonesia suddenly pulled his boxers down. Philipp crossed his legs, trying to cover up his crotch. But Malaysia, who was sitting behind him, spread his legs apart for Indonesia. Philipp's cheeks burned red as Malaysia kept his legs apart while Indonesia began sucking him off. "Ah... Ah! Indonesia- I- hngh~" Philipp groaned.

Malaysia let go of one of Philipp's legs while he raised the other and tapped Philipp's lips. Philipp blushed even more and opened his mouth. Malaysia pushed his fingers in and Philipp started sucking on them, trying to coat it with as much saliva as he could. Malaysia grinned as he felt Philipp's tongue flicking and twirling around his fingers, he decided to push his fingers a little further in before drawing back immediately and began repeating the action as if to mimic oral intercourse.

Philipp gagged, and tears started to form in the corner of his eyes. He looks down at Indonesia who was steadily sucking him off. His moans became muffled and he ended up cumming down Indonesia's throat. Indonesia choked, but he swallowed nonetheless. He pulls away after Philipp came and began panting, he licked his lips before he took Philipp's hand and had it wrap around his cock.

Philipp blushed and began stroking Indonesia's shaft. Indonesia sighed in relief as he slowly thrusts his hips forward for more fiction. Malaysia grins at the sight and decided to finally pull his fingers away and readjusted Philipp's position, now having him on all-fours with his ass perked up.

Malaysia glances at Indonesia, as if signalling to him. Indonesia smiles at Malaysia's signal and gives Philipp a soft peck on the lips, "Suck me off, please?" He requested as he held his tip to Philipp's lips. Philipp, who was already red as a ripe tomato, reddened even more.

He reluctantly opened his mouth and licked Indonesia's tip before wrapping his lips around it. Malaysia watched the scene for a second before slowly pushing one finger in. Philipp flinched when Malaysia's finger went inside and attempted to look behind him, but Indonesia held his chin, "Ah... Philipp, ignore him for a moment, please?" Indonesia begged.

Philipp started taking in more and more of Indonesia's shaft and started sucking him off. "Aaah~" Indonesia moaned as he gently thrusts his dick in and out of Philipp's mouth, careful not to choke him.

Malaysia's fingers began pushing in and out of him in a fluid pace and before he knew it, he had two fingers stuck up there as he began scissoring Philipp's hole to loosen him up. Philipp moaned into Indonesia's cock as Malaysia started fingering him. He was surprisingly good with his fingers.

"Ah... Philip! I'm gonna cum! Hngh-!" Indonesia moaned as he came down Philipp's throat who swallowed with no problems. Philipp panted and soon came as well when Malaysia managed to find his prostate.

Both Philipp and Indonesia panted and Indonesia saw Malaysia aligning his tip on Philipp's entrance, about to push in while Philipp was still caught off guard. Indonesia gulped, "Wait, change positions." He said as he had Philipp lie on Malaysia while his legs were on Indonesia's shoulders shoulder as he pushed forward to kiss Philipp once more.

The two made out while Malaysia started pushing his cock in and eventually bouncing Philipp on his cock who squealed out a moan. Indonesia decided to sit back for a moment, sitting on his knees as he watched the two get it on. Surprisingly, he didn't feel jealous that they were getting it on without him. After all, he needs to recharge, too. He doesn't have monster stamina like Malaysia does.

Indonesia got up and left the bed to go to the kitchen and drink some water. He felt thirsty after sucking off Philipp. He could still hear the loud banging noises from their room as well as Philipp's loud moans as he drank water before going to the bathroom to take a piss. He cleaned his shaft after taking a piss, so he won't need to worry about it later when it was his turn again.

He went back to the kitchen to grab a pitcher and three glasses stacked on each other and brought them to their room. He thought that since he got thirsty, they might too.

Malaysia gave one last thrust with a deep groan, pinning their hips together as he came inside, pulling away after.

Malaysia huffed and panted as he looks at Indonesia who was just scrolling through his phone. Indonesia notices Malaysia looking at him, so he gestured to the water he brought with him. "If you're thirsty, drink up, pee, and clean yourself up if you wanna continue." He said.

Malaysia sighed and got up to drink water while Indonesia sets his phone down, grabbed a glass and waited for Malaysia to finish before pouring a glass of water and gently giving it to Philipp who gulped down the entire thing in mere seconds.

Indonesia smiled and set the glass aside as he began cuddling with Philipp. Malaysia was astonished and in disbelief. "What the fuck?" Indonesia glances at him and sticks his tongue out. Malaysia rolls his eyes and continued drinking his water.

Philipp snuggled up to Indonesia and said, "Would you like to continue?" Philipp asked, "Of course, but wouldn't you like to rest first?" Philipp chuckled, "It's fine, I can handle it. I'm not as weak as you might think. In fact... I'm pretty sure I can take you both at the same time."

Indonesia's eyes widened and Malaysia choked on his water. "WHAT?!" The two best friends screamed.

. . .

Indonesia kissed Philipp again as he was sliding his shaft in rather smoothly. "Aaah~" Philipp moaned softly and soon it was followed by more ongoing and louder moans as Indonesia started pounding into him with much vigorous force.

Philipp didn't think Indonesia had it in him to be rough, he was so careful and gentle with him at first. Malaysia was on the bed just casually laying next to them as he watched the two go at it. He looks at Indonesia and Philipp going at it and grinned.

Malaysia sat up and moved closer to the two before grabbing Indonesia by his cheeks with one hand and closing the gap between them. Philipp's eyes widened when he saw the two start making out and his body acted accordingly. Indonesia felt Philipp get tighter and Malaysia noticed his dick grow slightly bigger at the sight before breaking off the French kiss with Indonesia. "You liked that, didn't you?" Malaysia teased. Philipp blushed and covered his face with his hands.

Indonesia didn't even stop while it was happening and continued at the same, vigorous pace. Soon, the two came and it was time for Malaysia to butt in.

Malaysia was underneath Philipp while Indonesia was on top. "Why am I the one at the bottom?" Malaysia argued. "Because. You have more stamina than I do. If I finished before either of you do, I might get stuck while you two continued fucking." Malaysia grinned. He was planning on it but was a bit amused that Indonesia caught on.

Indonesia hasn't pulled out and Malaysia just simply aligned his cock and went in with a bit of resistance. Malaysia groaned as he was able to force his way in.

Philipp groaned, "H-haaa... L-let's wait for a moment... Ah.. it kind of hurts... Ngh..." Philipp panted. The two agreed and waited for a bit before Philipp gave them the go signal.

The two thrusts at separate paces. Malaysia's was nice and fast while Indonesia's was hard and fast, each thrust he made had a rough impact. "A-ah! I-Indo! M-Mal! Hngh!" Philipp could barely last long and came on himself and Indonesia.

Malaysia groaned as Philipp seemed to have gotten tighter and his thrusts were losing rhythm. It felt like he was going to be the next one to fold. "A-agh... I'm cumming..." He groaned and releases inside Philipp. Indonesia lasted surprisingly long and Philipp whined and whimpered at the overstimulation but still enjoyed it.

Indonesia groaned as he pinned their hips together for one last thrust as he came inside Philipp, riding out his orgasm before pulling out.

The three panted and Indonesia watched as their fluids began spilling out of Philipp's hole.

"Are... You two a couple?" Philipp asked. The two flinched and Indonesia was the first to answer. "N-no, don't worry." He panted. "We did it once when we were drunk and never spoke of it ever again." Malaysia added. "I see..."

Philipp didn't like to share. He didn't even like to share Malaysia with Indonesia and vice versa, but... "Ha... I think... I'd like to see you guys do it again." The two blushed, the thought of Philipp watching them fuck was somehow a bit embarrassing.
