As she went about her daily routine, cleaning her house, a sudden accident led to a deep cut on her wrist. Surprisingly, the pain brought her a strange sense of relief, prompting her to repeat the act. Having experienced two heartbreaking miscarriages, this unconventional coping mechanism seemed to offer her a temporary respite from her emotional turmoil.
