Salish had been feeling bloated for the past few days. She had been burping and passing wind more than usual, and it was starting to become embarrassing. She tried to hide it from her husband Nidal, but it was becoming increasingly difficult.
One evening, Salish and Nidal were sitting on the couch watching TV when Salish let out a loud burp. She immediately covered her mouth and looked over at Nidal, hoping he hadn't heard it. But he had.
Nidal looked at Salish with a raised eyebrow. "Are you okay?" he asked.
Salish nodded, but then let out another burp. This time, she couldn't hide it. Nidal looked at her with concern. "You don't seem okay," he said.
