We see our heros in the cafeteria, enjoying their lunch break at school. The boys are talking to each other, as well as their other friends. Nora, who was mad at the results from the "fun day", continued to bug Seth for who actually won.
Nora: "But who should be decided the winners?! You can't leave a challenge off at a tie!"
Seth: "Well, the race was the finisher. And nothing else was planned after that. So, sorry I guess."
She the started to playfully hit his head with her fist.
Nora: "So much for being the so called 'The Smartest S.' You can't even think of a tiebreaker."
He just turns red a bit. Then turns his head, but doesn't tell Nora to stop. Ren looked at Nora "abusing" Seth, and just shrugged and continued to eat. She stopped and put her hands on the table.
Nora: "Now, where was I?"
She interrupted her own story just to tell Seth something unimportant.
Nora: "So...There we were, in the middle of the night."
Ren: "It was day."
Nora: "We were surrounded by Ursai."
Ren: "They were Beowolfs."
Meanwhile, Percy and Blake never paid attention. As they were reading a book that Blake brought with her.
Blake: "I never thought you were the reading type."
Percy: "Eh, it happens when Im bored."
Blake chuckles a little then goes back to reading with him. Then they were interrupted by Nora slamming her hands on the table exclaiming part of her story.
Nora: "DOZENS OF 'EM!"
Ren: "Two of 'em."
Jaune looked down sad at his food and played with it. Not caring for any of the conversations happening. Ranger and Kai looked at him concerned.
Ranger: "Jaune, you ok, partner?"
Kai: "Yea dude, you barely even ate your food."
Jaune: "Uh? Oh! Yeah, why?"
Ruby: "It's just that you seem a little..."
Kai: "Not okay."
Everyone then looked at him concerned.
Jaune: "Eh, guys, I'm fine. Seriously look..."
He then laughs nervously. He then turned his attention to Cardin Winchester and his team mocking the rabbit faunus, Velvet Scarletina. Kai and Ranger then turned their attention to the bullies and scoffed.
Kai: "People like them disgust me."
Ranger: "So that's why you're upset?"
Pyrha: "Jaune, Cardin's been picking on you since the first week of school."
Jaune: "Who? Cardin Winchester?"
Ranger: "Who else?"
Jaune: "Nah...he just likes to mess around you know, practical jokes."
Percy: "He's a bully."
Jaune: "Oh please. Name one time he's 'bullied' me."
Seth: "Gladly. What about that time he smacked your books out of your hands on purpose?"
Ranger: "Or the time he activated your shield in the doorway? Which by the way, took me and Perc' thirty minutes to pull out."
Kai: "And let's not forget..."
SPRK: "The locker!"
Jaune: "I didn't land far from the school."
Seth: "Dude, if you ever need help, you can just ask us. More importantly, you're team."
Nora: "OOH. We'll break his legs!"
Seth pulled Nora down.
Seth: "Hehe. I admire the enthusiasm. But even though he is a bully, he doesn't deserve that kind of treatment."
Nora: "Hmph. But I will."
Jaune: "Guys, really, it's fine. Besides, it's not like he's only a jerk to me; he's a jerk to everyone."
Percy: "Oh yeah. Forgot about that."
He said as he rubbed the side of his neck where his gills are. Which reminded him of the time Russel tried to pore dirt debris into his gills. He shuddered at the thought, but thankfully Blake gave him a reassuring shoulder pat. He simply smiled at this act of kindness from her.
Velvet: "Oww, that hurts!"
Now everyone's attention is on Cardin, as he his pulling on Velvets ears and laughing at her.
Velvet: "Please, stop."
Cardin: "I told you it was real!"
Russel: "What a freak!"
Seth slammed his fork on the table and got up which alerted the group. He then walked over to his teammates.
Seth: "Percy, Kai, Ranger. Time to crack some dense skulls!"
Percy: "Bout time!"
The boys got up and followed Seth to Cardins group. The rest of the group looked either concerned or thrilled. Seth whispered a plan to the boys which they all nodded in agreement. Seth was the first to walk over to them, while the others walked in separate directions and stopped where it was close enough to hear their leader. Seth walked up where Cardin was able to hear his footsteps. Cardin turned his head and saw Seth with a smirk. Which he was still holding Velvets ears.
Cardin: "Well well. If it isn't 'Bolt for Brains'."
Seth: "Cardin."
Cardin: "I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we're kinda in the middle of something."
He says as he pulls on Velvets ears to show what he was doing. Getting Seth pissed off more. But he just grins at this, devilishly.
Seth: "Oh don't worry, I'm not asking you to stop. I'm asking if I may partake in this scenario. After all..."
He then grabs Velvets ears away from Cardin and makes her look at him. She still has fear in her eyes.
Seth: "The freak's gotta get what they deserve."
He then winked at Velvet, which made her question his actions. Cardin and the rest of his team laughed.
Cardin: "Well then. By all means, go right ahead."
Back at the table, everyone else looked worried or mad at what Seth was doing.
Ruby: "Gah! What's he doing?!"
Jaune: "He wouldn't stoop to his level, would he?"
Blake looked at Percy. He then made eye contact with her, and gave a reassuring head nod to let her know it's all part of the plan. Blake had her mouth open as if she was about to say something, but she just sighs and smiles a bit.
Blake: "No. It's actually part of what they're doing."
Back to Seth, who still was holding Velvets ears. He gave her a small smile, and rubbed his thumb on one of her ears. But small rubs to were no one noticed, but her and him. She still had a small tear forming in her eye. Meanwhile, Cardin grew impatient.
Cardin: "C'mon. You gonna give the freak what she deserves or what?!"
Seth closed his eyes and smiled.
Seth: "With..."
"PLEASURE!"
He said, as he let go of her quickly to slam Cardins face on the table to knock him out. The rest of CRDL look at their leader, then back at Seth with an angry look in their eyes. But before they could do anything, Percy, Ranger, and Kai each took hold of one of them to keep them from doing anything. Cardin the regained consciousness and got back up.
Cardin: "Oh, you little bastard!"
Seth looked uninterested at Cardin. Then the bigger dude tried to swing a right hook at Seth. But he used his semblance to take a step back away from him. And the process keeps repeating, until Seth saw a glimpse of Cardin going for an uppercut. He then stepped out of the way as Cardin threw his attack in thin air and fell over as his weight went to his arm. Everyone else in the cafeteria then looked at the two fight. One blindly, and the other knowing what he is doing.
Seth: "Slow."
Cardin got up, more mad and tried punch a fury of blows. But Seth saw where and when the punches would blow ahead of time and blocked or deflected all of them. He then grew sick of his fighting style and pushed him away a few feet.
Seth: "Sloppy."
Cardin: "Shut it!"
He then grabbed an empty metal lunch tray and tried to attack him with it. As he almost let it hit him, he kicked the tray out of his hands and sent it flying in the air. Cardin wasn't paying attention to his opponent, but still looked at the tray waiting to come back down in his arm. Seth sighed and kicked Cardin in the crotch as hard as he could. Cardin grabbed his area after the blow and got on his knees on the floor. Seth shook his head slowly.
Seth: "Stupid."
The tray fell down from the air and hit Cardin on the head, knocking him out, for a good nap this time. Most of the cafeteria was filled with applause and cheer. Seth then turned his direction to the rest of CRDL.
Seth: "Do something like this again, you're next."
They nodded in fear and agreement. Seth then looked at his teammates to let them go. And they comply, letting them go. The rest of them scrambled to grab their leader and leave the cafeteria. He then turned to face Velvet.
Seth: "You ok?"
Velvet: "Y-yeah. Thank you. B-but you didn't have t-"
Seth: "Well, we hate bullies. Just as simple as that."
Velvet looked at him with a glimmer of hope in her eyes. And smiled at him.
Velvet: "Ok. Thank you still."
He then rubbed her head not to touch her ears, after what she been through. She chuckled a bit.
Seth: "No worries, Bun Bun. Now, stay outta trouble for me."
She nodded and walked of with a pep in her step. He then regrouped with the rest of his team and went to sit back down with the rest of their friend group. They all cheered them on as they took out the bullying force in Beacon. Weiss did look concerned and asked Kai.
Weiss: "Don't you think you guys took it a bit to far?"
Seth answered for Kai.
Seth: "Well, it was better than breaking his legs."
He said as he looked at Nora. She the rubbed the back of her neck and chuckled.
Nora: "Hehe. It was just a suggestion."
