Marcus p.o.v**
I practicly rejected her. I don't need her. But my whole body craves her touch and to hold her but I tell myself to stop.
When we got home Brandon and Andrew along with everyone else was like 'what the hell.'
"You left your mate." Andrew said.
"So did you." I told him.
"She'll be here don't worry." I nodded.
"Bro you need her. You'll go crazy with out her." Brandon said.
"I don't need anyone but my pack." He said. Then my dad burst through the door.
"Where is she? I wanna meet her." My dad and step mom were all excited.
"He left her." Andrew said.
"You left your mate too so shut the fuck up." I yelled at him.
"Yea well at least she's gunna be here soon. I already talked to her." Andrew said. I rolled my eyes.
"You rejected her?" My father yelled. I didn't answer cause he already knew it.
"What's wrong with you! You was never like this before." He yelled at me. I just walked upstairs to my office. I have pack stuff to worry about. Except I could think about that.
I kept feeling sad for some reason. But I wasn't sad. Shit. I forgot , as long as I'm not with my mate I feel what she feels. I hope she isn't a little baby and gets all depressed. I just started trying to do work. All the sudden I was angry then calmed. Why are girls like this? Their emotions change every second.
I was filling out some paper work when I got nervous. Which made me actually nervous.
'Go check on her. She could in danger right now.' My wolf yelled at me.
'No. She's a big girl she can handle her shit herself.' I snapped back.
What if she's really in danger though. Why is the mate bond so strong? Then everything was okay.
'Told you everything was okay.' I said to him.
'For now.' My wolf yelled. He can be a real big dick sometimes.
I couldn't consintrate with her feeling running through me. I missed her like crazy though. She was so beautiful if anything happens to her I don't know what I would do. I got up and ran down stairs. My wolf got the best of me.
"Where you going?" Andrew asked. I just walked out and mind linked him saying 'none of your business'. I staid in the woods outside her house. She looked to be folding her clothes. Then we made dead eye contact. She was scared. I don't think she realized it was me. She shut her curtains and I noticed the lights go off. I huffed then went back to the house.
Cheyenne p.o.v**
I walked down stairs and I said goodbye to mark.
"I'll be back sooner then you think. Trust me." I said. He laughed an nodded.
"Matthew make sure he doesn't lay a harmful finger on her." Mark said.
"Of course. And my son might be heartless but I can promise you he doesn't hit girls unless he's being attacked. Not even when he's attacking packs." Matthew said. He nodded.
We left and we drove to the pack house. It was huge. Good I get a room to myself.
"Babe!" Britney yelled and I guess that's Andrew got up and they hugged and kissed. Marcus ran down stairs with the meanest face on ever.
"What are you doing here?" He said to me. Ouch .
"When I find out I'll write you a letter and mail it to you." I sarcastic you said to him. He rolled his eyes.
"She's your mate and she be staying with her mate, you , in your house with all you guys in you room." Mat sternly said.
"Um no . That was not part of this little agreement. I'll be no where near sleeping with him in the same bed. I get my own room or I'll leave." I snapped but feeling bad cause Matthew really is a good guy.
"Okay fine." Matt said.
"I'll show you to your room." Brandon said. I nodded. We walked up two flights of stairs and then we reached my room.
"That's alpha's study or office right under your room and next to you is Alphas room." He politely said.
"Great now I get to see him even more." I sarcastically thumbs upped. Brandon laughed.
"Nah man . Marcus was never like this. I swear. He used to smile and we always joked 24/7 . stuff happen and now he's not but yea." He said.
"What happen? His dad said the same thing I just was nervous to ask." I said.
"I would love to spill the beans , but unfortunately alpha's orders to never talk about it. Also , even if he didn't say that I could never just tell his business out like that." He explained. I nodded.
"Ima situated. Thanks though." I smiled. He nodded and smiled. He left the room shutting my door. The room was huge. A queen sized bed in the middle and a nice bathroom. I mean I could just live in here. I don't even have to leave the room. And I'll never have to see Marcus. There was a knock at the door.
"Come in.." I yelled.
"Holy shit this is gorgeous. And all to yourself?" Britney said. I nodded smiling.
"I don't care! I'm not going to love this girl. She's weak. She's not my mate!" I heard him yell from down stairs.
"Yes she is and you know it." Matthew yelled back.
"I'm done with you leave." Marcus yelled.
"She better be here when I get back tomorrow or I swear to moongoddess boy. Just because-" Matthew stopped.
"Do not . Finish your sentence." Marcus said in his alpha voice.
"You made me go that far." His dad yelled then the front door slammed shut. Making us cringe.
"Cheyenne -" I cut Britney off.
"He doesn't want me Brit just leave. I have to finish." I said. She hugged me from the side and left.
I stopped and just kinda cried. I looked at the picture of my parents.
"Why me? My parents dead and my mate doesn't even want me." I said as a tear dropped down on the glass of the frame. I whipped it away.
'Babe he does want you. We just need him to open up to us okay?' My wolf said. I shrugged.
I finished putting my clothes away. I changed into some shorts instead of my leggings. It was kinda hot. Everyone should be asleep by now. I could though. I walked down stair and I noticed Brandon up still.
"What are you doing up honey bun?" I asked. He chuckled at my nickname.
"I'm usually always up. How bout you? Should the queen be getting her sleep?" He sarcastically said.
"I always said I was a queen. How ironic. But to bad I'm not his queen. And I can't sleep." I said.
"Aw why not?" He asked. I shrugged.
"Come cuddle with me brandy." I whined.
"Your really funny. These nicknames and now this joke. Dead ." He laughed fakely.
"Cause that what I will be if Marcus found out." He said serious now. I shrugged.
"Nah. He said it himself. He doesn't want me. So who cares." I said.
"Fine but only for a few." He said. I smiled. He shut off the tv and we walked to my room. He came over and cuddle with me. I cuddled in his chest. Then soon drifted to sleep.
Marcus p.o.v**
I was in my study when I heard Cheyenne walk down stair. Then not even 5 minutes later Brandon and her went up to her room. I heard her beg for him to come cuddle. My wolf was growling inside. I just pushed it away. It's only a for a few is what he said.
I went to bed around 1am and then got up around 8am. I walked out just as Brandon was leaving Cheyennes room. I growled out loud this time. I was pissed.
"Sleeping with the alpha's gamma!" I yelled busting through her door trying to blame this on her. I wanted to yell at Brandon but i couldn't or they would know I care for her.
"We cuddled. We didn't have sex. He comforted me. Something a mate should do but yea know." She sassed.
"Watch your attitude with me. Got it." I yelled at her. She rolled her eyes. I slammed the door shut I broke the handle off but I didn't give a fuck. I through it at Brandon forcefully but he dodged it. Then in walked my dad. Great . More shit.
"I heard a bang what was that?" He asked worried.
"I caught Brandon sneaking outta her room." I said. All my dad did was smirk. I just walked away.
Last night Cheyenne was sad for some reason. But it was painfully sad. Like even I felt like my heart was gunna stop honestly. I wanted to go in there and comfort her but I couldn't. I just don't want to.
