Arrival of the blue

Tálèa is the youngest of her family, and wherever she goes, a sibling is often close by. Her family is fiercely protective of her, not because they don't trust her, but because they care deeply for her well-being. Tálèa is like the ocean on a calm day, exuding tranquility and radiating joy. Her mere presence can bring a smile to anyone's face, without her even trying.

While Tálèa shares some similarities with her sister Tsireya, she is also unique in her own way. Tálèa's hair is straight with slight waves unlike her sisters curly hair. She wears two braids on either side of her head with small white beads and shells woven in. Her big blue eyes match the sea,  her small frame sets her apart from her siblings. Although she may not be as strong as them, Tálèa's beauty and gentle nature draw attention from all around her. Despite this, she is shy and tends to keep to herself.
=====================================

It was a calm and peaceful day in the Metkayina clan, and Tálèa had finished all of her chores for the day. She decided to spend some time in the shallows of the ocean, watching the small fish swim by. Suddenly, the peacefulness was shattered by the sound of the clan's horns blaring. Tálèa had never heard this particular noise before, and she knew it wasn't the Tulkun returning.

As she looked up, she saw some unusually large shadows flying overhead, which filled her with fear. The young girl watched as the abnormally large creatures landed, and every návi circled around, watching them warily. Tálèa searched for her family, and eventually spotted Tsireya. She pushed her way through the crowd to see what everyone was staring at.

As she looked around at the odd nàvi, her eyes locked onto someone else's, who had been watching her the entire time without her realizing it.

Neteyams POV

Neteyam and his family had been riding the ikrans for days trying to reach the Metkayina clan. Although he never wanted to leave his home, he understood that they had to keep their family safe, as Sulies always stick together. Neteyam was much like his father. He would do anything to protect his family. Being the eldest sibling, he had a constant responsibility over everyone, especially Lo'ak, who liked to cause mischief and get into trouble a lot.

As they finally spotted their destination, they prepared their ikrans to land. They heard the clans horns going off, and they knew this was not going to be easy.

Landing in the shallow water, they all started to get surrounded by other Nàvi. Jake made sure his family stuck close by and kept telling them to be nice. Neteyam and his brother greeted two young boys similar to their age, while Kiri stayed further back, keeping out of it.

Neteyam turned around to two boys laughing at him. "Look at him! Is that supposed to be a tail?" one boy said, while the other snickered. "It's too small. How are they supposed to swim?" As he watched, he noticed a girl telling them to stop, catching onto their names Rotxo and Aonung. He watched as his brother Lo'ak was clearly attracted to this girl as he muttered a small "hey," to which she shyly smiled. Being his brother, Neteyam couldn't help but give him a knowing look, nudging him, trying to be a tease.

His laughter was shortly cut off as he himself couldn't take his eyes off this one girl appearing from the crowd. She was beauty itself, he thought. He kept staring at her until their eyes locked on each other. It was like his breath got stuck, and he couldn't breathe again until she looked away, which left him feeling empty.

Neteyam and Jake watched in curiosity as three flying fish creatures emerged from the water and landed nearby. They had never seen anything like it before. As they approached, Jake greeted a man who emerged from the crowd, and the rest of the group followed him to show respect. A woman appeared shortly after "I see you Ronal Tsahik of the Metkayina"

"Why do you come to us, Jake Sully?" Tonowari asked.

"We seek Uturu," Jake's father responded.

Ronal examined the group, looking at their tails and arms, commenting on how thin and weak they were. This echoed the boys' earlier statements, she even pointed out their hands calling them demon blood to which everyone around gasped. Jake pleaded with Ronal, promising that they would learn their ways and that he just wanted to keep his family safe.

Tonowari and Ronal shared looks between them something only both of them could understand until one spoke up "Toruk Makto and his family will stay with us treat them as our brothers and sisters. Now, they do not know the sea so they will be like babies taking their first breath. Teach them our ways so they do not suffer the shame of being useless" the sullys all say their thank yous to show their appreciation.

"My son Aonung and my daughters Tsireya and Tálèa will show your children what to do," Tonowari said.
The boy was clearly unhappy with his father's decision, but Tsireya was thrilled to show the Sullys their new home.

Tàléas POV

My sister and I helped the family with their luggage as they led them to their new home, Maruis. As we walked, I looked behind me and saw the youngest sibling jumping on the rope path, giggling as she went. I couldn't help but smile at the young girl's innocence.

After a brief walk, we arrived at their new pod, and everyone gave small thank yous. Neytiri seemed like a powerful and intimidating woman to me, and I couldn't blame her for sighing and throwing some of her stuff on the floor. Leaving your home must be tough, I couldn't imagine leaving my home or my family.

I admired this family for sticking together and helping one another. It was evident that they all loved each other, even if some of them had tried to hide it. As I was about to leave, Tsireya spoke up. "We'll let you guys settle in, and we can show you our waters tomorrow morning. I think you'll love them," she said with a smile, mainly focusing on Lo'ak. It was obvious the way her smile was mainly directed to him, as was his. His eyes focused solely on her, while Tálèa hadn't noticed Neteyam's eyes on her.

He slightly hoped she'd look back at him so he could look into her eyes again, but that moment never came as both sisters walked off into the evening.

                              Neteyams POV

As Tàlèa walked away, my attention was immediately drawn to the breathtaking sunset. it was so open and vast nothing like I saw in the forest. As the sun began to dip below the horizon the sky is painted with a stunning array of colours, ranging from deep oranges and reds to soft pinks and purples. The water reflected this beauty, making it seem like the world was endless. The air is still and quiet nothing like the forest where he could hear the constant movement of nature it was as if the world was calmly breathing with the sound of waves slowly rolling in.

All of my thoughts were suddenly interrupted when my father called for a family meeting everyone gathered around listening to his every word  "I need you kids on your best behaviour, I mean it. learn fast and pull your weight, don't cause trouble you got it." His words were stern I could tell he was mainly directing this towards my brother Lo'ak, who responded with a simple "yes, sir." Neteyam chuckled and playfully grabbed the back of Lo'ak's head, to which he responded with "skxawng" in return.

My attention was drawn to my youngest sister, Tuk, who had tears in her eyes and was pleading to go home. I couldn't help but feel bad for her,  I wished there was something I could do to make her happy I'd do anything to see Tuk happy. Jake gently took Tuk's hand to try and give her some comfort as Neytiri did the same quietly saying "what does your dad always say?" to which they all quietly muttered "sullys stick together" his father told them to say it again with more feeling as they did kiri a was a bit more reluctant than the others she'd been in a bad mood since they got here.

Despite the tension, I was excited for my first lesson the next day.
